Nigerian singer, Harrysong, has shared a screenshot of a conversation that ensued between him and the lady who’s threatening to release his bedroom tape.

Recall that the singer took to Instagram yesterday to complain about being blackmailed by a “runs girl” with whom he had a sexual relationship six years ago.

UK-based Nigerian Pastor, Tobi Adeboyega, has gotten people talking online after he was spotted spotted at a nightclub spraying Davido with bundles of pounds sterling.

The award-winning singer, who recently held a show at the O2 Arena in London, was performing at a club in the UK when the controversial clergyman started showering him with bundles of pounds sterling which was collected by one of the singer’s crew member.

The trending video has stirred mixed reactions from social media users as they criticize him for going to a night club despite being a pastor. According to netizens, church and club does not mix.

Pastor Tobi is the founder of Salvation Proclaimers Anointed Church (SPAC Nation), a UK based Pentecostal church.

She however disclosed that she has not always been confident about her body as people used to troll her and say hurtful things to her over something she can’t control.

Speaking on her struggles in a chat with LIB, Chioma disclosed that she used to wear loose clothes and tight bras to hide her boobs because she was always getting a lot of attention from people.

According to her, it’s always a hassle to find a bra that’s her size and sometimes she goes out without wearing one. She added that the first reaction of people when they see her is to stop and stare at her.

However, she noted that she has grown to love and accept herself the way she is.

Francis Enobore, the national spokesperson of the Nigeria Correctional Service, has spoken on the alleged killer of SuperTV CEO, Chidinma Ojukwu, winning ‘Miss Cell 2022’.

News made rounds earlier that the suspect emerged winner of the beauty pageant held at Kirikiri correctional facility to celebrate this year’s International Women’s Day.

Confirming the news, Enobore said the pageant is one of the social activities organized for the inmates to keep them in sound and good spirit.

According to him, Chidinma was the best in the pageant show and was thereafter crowned ‘Miss Cell 2022’.

The prison spokesperson said;

“What happened is that as part of our reformation and rehabilitation programme and to also keep the inmates in a sound and good spirit, we organise a number of social engagement amongst them. Some could be recreational activities, some could be theatre work like entertainment.

“There are a number of programs that we introduced to get the inmates happy and put them in a good frame of mind. First, we ensure that while they are there, they are open to correction, second, we ensure that they are there in good spirit in order to help them kill boredom. There are so many things we do. In line with this, the officer in charge of the Kirikiri correctional facility organised some competitions among the inmates like cooking, tailoring, make-up, among others.

“These are things that will make them happy because our primary responsibility is to keep them safe and sound. That was what happened and she emerged the best in the competition. It is part of what we do. In fact, the person in charge of the Kirikiri female prison has been doing marvellously well.”

A Ghanaian gold mine owner, Antwi Boasiako, has revealed his ambitious plans of becoming the new owner of Chelsea Football club.

He disclosed this in a recent interview on Ghana’s Wontumi FM, where he named three of the world’s biggest players he would love to sign to The Blues.

This is coming after the club’s Russian billionaire owner, Roman Abramovich said he is looking to sell the club, following the clampdown he has received from the UK Government over Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

A number of billionaires have indicated interest in buying the club, but talks to sell the club is currently on hold because of the sanction imposed on Abramovich by Britain.

Speaking on his plan to buy the club, Antwi Boasiako said,

“I want to go and buy Chelsea Football Club. I am interested in it.

Those who buy clubs are not footballers, but business people. I am also a businessman. I’m into gold mining. Why can’t we buy the club?

I want to join the bidding. If I become the owner, I want the Brazilian player at Real Madrid, Vinicius Jr – and to sell off Romelu Lukaku.

I will speak with Manchester United to see if I can also buy Cristiano Ronaldo for Chelsea. I’d also look at signing Lionel Messi.

Roman Abramovich has done his best. It is now time for him to support a Ghanaian or an African to buy Chelsea.”

The man whose wife delivered their bundle of joy at the Tantra Hill hospital in Accra stormed the hospital with the brand new car.

The two security guards who were allegedly fired for dancing on duty, have reacted to the statement issued by their former employer, Chicken Republic, about the incident.

It can be recalled that the guards, now known as ‘Happy Boys’, became internet sensations after their dancing video went viral, and received favours from people following claims that they were sacked over the viral video.

However, Chicken Republic reacting to the controversy in an official statement released recently, claimed the boys were not sacked but sent for retraining by the security company.

Nancy Umeh, the sister of famed Nigerian professional dancer Korra Obidi, has confirmed that the dancer and her husband, Justin Dean, are going through a rough patch in their relationship.

Korra’s husband took to social media on Wednesday, March 9 to announce that he’s getting a divorce from his wife, the mother of his two children, June and Athena.

Although the doctor didn’t give details of what the problem was, he said he did his best to make their marriage work and wouldn’t be treated in a certain way any longer.

Speaking further, the father of two said he loved and supported his wife, but he did not deserve the way he was treated.

Korra Obidi is yet to react to her husband’s claims, but her sister, Nancy, has now confirmed that the couple are indeed going through a difficult time in their marriage.

She urged their fans to pray for them, adding that this period is quite trying for both of them.

Nigerian lawyer and human rights activist, Reno Omokri, has berated the Nigerian Correctional Service for organizing a beauty pageant for inmates.

To mark International Women’s Day (IWD) on Tuesday, March 8, the beauty pageant was organized inside the correctional facility, where the female inmates showcased their talents.

The alleged killer of Super TV CEO, Chidinma Ojukwu, participated in the pageant and emerged as the winner of the competition.

Photos of the crowned “Miss Cell 2022” found their way to the internet and generated mixed reactions from Nigerians.

Reacting to this in a lengthy Instagram post, the former presidential aide said that prison is a place of punishment and rehabilitation, but once it becomes a place of fun, then the whole purpose is defeated.

Reno, who opined that the act was insensitive, questioned how the families of the late Usifo Ataga would feel seeing his suspected killer prancing about as a beauty queen in prison.

In his words,

“Prison is a place of punishment and rehabilitation. Once it becomes a place of fun, then the whole purpose is defeated. How would the family of Usifo Ataga feel to see Chidinma prancing about as a beauty queen in prison? That is unacceptable. Heads should roll! And if heads don’t roll, the question we must ask is whether Chidinma has a prison official zaddy who she is making very happy. Because the state of her hair, skin, the clothes she wore and her shoes are better than 99% of females that are free in the world outside prison!

And the media should stop calling her an ‘alleged killer’. She admitted killing Usifo Ataga on camera. Once there is an admission, the charge is no longer alleged. It is proven. What is in doubt are the circumstances. Did she do it while under the influence of fear, or drugs, or something else which we do not as yet know? But that she did it is fact, not allegation.”

NURTW suspends MC Oluomo indefinitely over misconduct

Musiliu Akinsaya, better known as MC Oluomo, has been suspended indefinitely as the chairman of the Lagos State Chapter of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW).

In a letter signed by the NURTW General Secretary, Kabiru Yau, the union disclosed that MC Oluomo is guilty of insubordination and inciting members of Lagos state chapter against the national leadership.

He has been asked to hand over all union properties in his possession to the state secretary and hand over leadership to his deputy.

The letter dated March 9, 2020, reads in part,

“This is to convey to you that in line with Article 42 section 5, subsection I, II, III, IV, V, and VIII of the union’s constitution, you have been placed on indefinite suspension from office as State Chairman of Lagos State Council of National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) with effect from March 9, 2022.

Your suspension is sequel to sustained acts of insubordination and gross misconduct coupled with your clandestine plans to instigate cr!sis and unleash mayhem on any branch or branches of the union in Lagos state that refuses to obey your order or instructions not to accept directives from the national headquarters of the Union.

Your orchestrated plan to att#ck branches that may disobey your orders aforesaid will ultimately end#nger public peace and order in Lagos state. It is also very likely to thr#aten and/or affect the lives and property of the peace-loving people of Lagos state, particularly those doing their legitimate businesses within motor parks, hence the urgent need to take drastic actions against him.

It is on record that you were earlier issued with queries on 25th of February 2022 and 3rd of March, 2022 respectively in which you were directed to explain the circumstances surrounding your untoward actions and to also show cause why disciplinary actions should not be taken against you for such acts of insubordination. You bluntly neglected/refuse to respond to the second query, while your response to the first query was unsatisfactory.”

Nigerian man in critical condition after his ex set him and his current lover ablaze in the U.S

A US-based Nigerian man, Stanley Obi, has been hospitalized and is said to be in critical condition after his ex-girlfriend set him and his new lover ablaze.

According to Dailymail, the 31-year-old ex identified as Sarah Mudge, broke into Obi’s house in New Beith, near Logan in Brisbane’s southern suburbs, at 2.55am on Thursday, and doused the place with petrol before setting it on fire.

Obi, a 33-year-old professional nurse, was rushed to the hospital with 90 percent of his body badly burnt, and a slim chance of survival.

His ex whom Obi has four children with didn’t make it out alive, as she died in the fire she started, while Obi’s 31-year-old current partner and three children aged five, three and two, managed to escape with minor burns to the airway.

It was gathered that Susan shared a cryptic post on Facebook few weeks ago which reads,

Black Panther director, Ryan Coogler arrested and placed in handcuffs after he was mistaken for a bank robber (video)

American filmmaker, Ryan Coogler, was briefly detained by police in Atlanta after he was mistaken for a bank robber.

The Black Panther director had gone to Bank of America to make a transaction on January 7. He handed the bank teller a note asking to withdraw $12,00 from his checking account.

Cooger had written a note on the back on the withdrawal slip that reportedly read, “I would like to withdraw $12,000 cash from my checking account. Please do the money count somewhere else. I’d like to be discreet.”

The bank teller misinterpreted the situation as an attempted robbery when the transaction amount exceeded $10,000 and informed her boss. The police were called and they arrived at the bank and reportedly detained two people in an SUV who were waiting for Coogler outside the bank.

When they entered the bank, they placed Coogler in handcuffs and led him out of the bank.

“From the call we got, sounded like someone was trying to rob the bank,” one of the officers says in the bodycam footage.

The director as later released, and Bank of America has now apologized for the mistake.

Coogler confirmed the incident to Variety, saying, “This situation should never have happened. However, Bank of America worked with me and addressed it to my satisfaction and we have moved on.”

A Nigerian woman recently gave birth to a baby girl who had another baby growing out of her butt.

Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh, who shared a video of the 8-month-old baby on her Instagram page revealed the little girl needs immediate surgery to remove the other twin so she can have a normal life.

The video of the baby identified as Mariam shows her looking like a child giving birth to another child.

In related news, a woman gave birth to a baby with two heads, on Tuesday at Med-in specialist hospital, Osogbo street, Lagos, through an elective Caesarean section.

Various scans the woman underwent in the course of the pregnancy, indicated that she was having a twins.

The baby was resuscitated and transferred to the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) for advance care. According to one of the nurses who was in the delivery room, they had prepared two cots for each of the twins but were shocked when they saw that they were conjoined.
