The inspiring story was shared on Facebook by a relative of the family, who also shared beautiful photos of the father and daughter in their regalia and wig.

US Government reveals how Hushpuppi allegedly bribed Nigerian DCP, Abba Kyari to jail fellow fraudster; Abba Kyari responds
The United States Department of Justice, took to their official website on Wednesday, 28th of July, 2021, to reveal how embattled socialite, Hushpuppi some years back, bribed Nigerian Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari to jail a fellow fraudster, identified as Vincent.
According to their report, Hushpuppi arranged with DCP Kyari to arrest one Kelly Chibuzo Vincent, who he’d initially conspired with to commit a BEC fraud on an unsuspecting Qatari businessperson by claiming to be consultants and bankers.
Eventually, when the fraud was completed and they made away with the money, a dispute ensued among the thieves which caused Vincent to out Hushpuppi to their victim this caused Hushpuppi to push for the arrest of Vincent by DCP Kyari.
Their statement reads in part,
Abbas allegedly arranged to have Vincent jailed in Nigeria by Abba Alhaji Kyari, 46, of Nigeria. According to the affidavit, Kyari is a highly decorated deputy commissioner of the Nigeria Police Force who is alleged to have arranged for Vincent to be arrested and jailed at Abbas’ behest, and then sent Abbas photographs of Vincent after his arrest. Kyari also allegedly sent Abbas bank account details for an account into which Abbas could deposit payment for Vincent’s arrest and imprisonment.
In reaction to the accusation, Nigerian Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari, took to his Facebook page moments ago, to release a statement, revealing that indeed, Hushpuppi contacted him about two years ago to report someone who was a threat to his family and tendering to the distress call led to the apprehension of Vincent.
DCP Kyari revealed that following the arrest, they got to discover that there wasn’t any threat whatsoever and that they only discovered a dispute between Hushpuppi and Vincent.
He wrote in part on his Facebook page,
Abbas who we later came to know as Hushpuppi called our office about 2years ago that somebody in Nigeria Seriously threatened to kill his Family here in Nigeria and he sent the person’s Phone number and pleaded we take action before the Person attacks his family.

It all started when Uriel made a post about the way women trooped to her ex-boyfriend’s DM after she posted his picture on her Instagram page. According to her, some ladies who pretend to love her also slid into his DM and begged him not to show her their messages.
Reacting to this, Sonia took to her Instastories to indirectly call her out for being an hypocrite. She alleged that Uriel sleeps with a married footballer and still goes under his wife’s comment section to form friendship.

The Ibadan Zonal Command of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, (EFCC), has apprehended 82-year-old Chief Olagoke Samson Amoo-Onidundu for alleged land fraud.
A statement on their official website concerning the arrest reads,
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ibadan Zonal Command, on Tuesday, July 27, 2021, arraigned 82 years old Chief Olagoke Samson Amoo- Onidundu who claims to be the Baale of Onidundu area of Akinyele, Oyo state before Justice Iyabo Yerima of the Oyo State High Court, sitting in Ibadan for alleged land fraud.
The statement continues,
“The Octogenarian was docked on a four count charge bordering on obtaining money under false pretence, contrary to Section 1(1)(a) of the Advance Fee Fraud and Other Fraud Related Offences Act, 2006 and punishable under Section 1 (3) of the same Act,.
“The complainant alleged that he bought four acres of land from the defendant for N4, 400,000 but he was later denied access to the land by some people who claimed to be the actual owners of the land.
“One of the counts read, ‘That you, Chief Olagoke Samson Amoo-Onidundu on or about the 19th August, 2020, at Ibadan within the Ibadan Judicial Division of this Honourable Court with intent to defraud, obtained the sum of N2million from one Oluwagbemi Ashaolu by falsely telling him that the sum was part payment for the purchase of four acres of land you have secured for him, which you are in a position to deliver to him; which you knew to be false and you thereby committed an offence contrary to section 1(1)(a)of the Advance Fee Fraud and Other Related Offences Act, 2006 and punishable under section 1 (3) of the same Act’.
“In view of his plea, Ben Ubi, prosecution counsel, asked for a date for the commencement of trial. He also prayed the court to remand the defendant at the Nigerian Correctional Centre.”
Man who survived bandit attack on Sokoto expressway shares his ordeal (Video)
A Nigerian man is thankful for how his life was gracefully spared following an attack by bandits during a journey.
According to the man, he was travelling from Sokoto to Kano when he got attacked by bandits who shot at his car.
He said: “On our way from Sokoto, back to Kano, we were attacked by bandit, kidnappers.”
He added: “They shot me but I was able to escape. I reversed and ran.”
Sharing a video of the aftermath of his escape, he explained that policemen came to his rescue, with one of the officers assisting him to change his tyre so he could continue on his journey.
“They shot my tyre, they shot my car,” he said, showing the dent the bullet made on his car.
The gentleman then gave thanks to God for saving his life and also thanked the policemen for making themselves available at such a critical time.

Nigerian lady, Esther Chukwuemeka, who was celebrated on social media for being the “youngest Nigerian lawyer” following reports that she was called to bar at age 20, has come out to clear the air.
In a video shared online, Esther denied claims that she graduated from secondary age at 13 and was called to Nigerian bar at 20.
According to her, the report was an error from the person who shared a congratulatory message to celebrate her.
To set the records straight, Esther disclosed that she graduated from secondary school at age 15, then she gained admission to Abia State University (ABSU) to study Political Science.
She said she spent one year in ABSU before travelling to India to study Law at age 17.
Esther pointed out that she spent 5 years studying law in India before returning to Nigeria for Law School, so she is not 20 but 24 years old.

Five prospective corps members dies in ghastly accident on their way to NYSC camp
Five University of Uyo (UNIUYO) graduates reportedly died in a ghastly motor accident on their way to the NYSC orientation camp in Katsina.
The prospective corps members were on their to the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC orientation camp in Katsina state when their car reportedly tumbled in Abuja. While five of them died on the spot, others were severely injured and rushed to the hospital.
Three of the deceased have been identified as Miracle Asuquo, Stella Ekikor and Victor Akpan.
The NYSC Director, Press and Public Relations, Adenike Adeyemi, who confirmed the incident said the fatal motor accident occurred around 2am on Wednesday, July 28, 2021, along the Abaji/Kwali Expressway.
A statement released by the NYSC scheme reads,
“It is with deep sense of sorrow that the Director-General, Management and the entire NYSC Family commiserate with the families of five Prospective Corps Members that lost their lives in a ghastly motor accident at about 2am today, Wednesday, 28th July, 2021, along Abaji/ Kwali Expressway.
The Director-General and Management also condole with the Governments and people of Akwa-Ibom and Imo States over the tragic incident that has left the Scheme devastated.
Indeed, it has been a black Wednesday for the NYSC Family.
May God grant the families and loved ones the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
May their souls rest in peace.
Management.”

Taking to her Insta-stories the reality star addressed followers who flood her DM requesting that she undergo butt and breast surgery in order to enhance her looks.
Uriel stated that although she can afford the surgery she wouldn’t go under the knife to enhance her features because she’s scared of the procedure and is naturally endowed.

The Ekiti born 29-year-old fashion designer in a conversation with fellow housemate, Boma earlier today noted that she learnt the act of saving at a young age and made her first millions 10 years ago.
“I’m proud of myself 10 years ago I made my first million. I know how to manage money, I’m one of those children that saves, I save my pocket money. Cos, I love to travel”. She said.
Speaking further, Arin who noted that she loves travelling listed the different countries around the world she has been to.
According to her, “I don’t want to count, but I have been to Amsterdam, United Kingdom, Italy, France, Scotland, America, and other countries. I don’t ask my mother for ticket money because I have pride, I’ll just tell her I want to travel but she’ll pay for my ticket. In America, I’ve been to New York, Atlanta. The last time I was in America was in 2018”.

Nollywood actress, Nkechi Blessing has alleged that majority of her female colleagues are sending her husband private messages on Instagram, thinking she won’t see it.
The beautiful screen diva made this shocking revelation while reacting to BBNaija star, Uriel Oputa’s post berating women for wanting other women’s men.
According to uriel after she shared a picture of her ex-boyfriend ladies trooped to his DM and begged him not to show her their messages.
Uriel noted that as a result of the experience she would never post her husband on social media when she finally marries as she wouldn’t want ladies shooting their shots at him.

I posted a picture of my Ex who is my good friend. and his DM full .. even those telling me how much they love me done enter his dM saying don’t show Uriel.. biko ive seen .. Reacting to this, Nkechi Blessing shared how ladies and fellow Nollywood actresses constantly flood her husband’s DM and they have no idea that she sees their messages to her husband.

Lincoln, the estranged husband of Nigerian video vixen, Bolanle, has tendered a public apology to her after he chased her out of his house and embarrassed her on social media.

He has now tendered a public apology to Bolanle. In a video shared on his IG page, Lincoln said;

Davido’s personal logistics manager, Israel DMW has revealed why he will continue to “worship” the singer despite the age difference.
Israel had taken to his Instagram page to share a photo of him and Davido and called the singer his boss. He captioned the photo, “My own Oga. Who’s yours?”
However, he was slammed for being subservient to Davido when he is way older than him.

18-year-old boy arrested for allegedly stabbing a 28-year-old “runs girl” to death in Ogun
An 18-year-old boy, identified as Jamiu Malomo, has been arrested for allegedly killing a 28-year-old lady, Azeezat Akande, in Ogun state.
According to the spokesperson of the State Police Command, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, the suspect was apprehended following a report lodged at Adatan divisional headquarters by the chairman of Ilupeju community, Oke Aregba, Abeokuta.
The Chairman reported that they woke up to the lifeless body of a young lady, who was stabbed to death on a rock in the area, with a blood-stained knife beside her on Sunday, July 18.
Following the report, the DPO of Adatan division, SP Abiodun Salau and his detectives went to the crime scene and carried the corpse to the state hospital Ijaye mortuary.
Thereafter, they embarked on an intelligence and forensic investigation to unravel the mystery behind the murder. During the investigation, they received information that the person who was last seen with the deceased was sighted at 380 bar in Panseke, Abeokuta, on Thursday, July 22, where he was trying to pick another “runs girl”.
The police operactives acted on that information and got him arrested.
“On interrogation, the suspect who was just released from prison custody last month, confessed to killing the deceased. According to him, he picked the deceased from Panseke and took her home for sexual pleasure. After having carnal knowledge of the victim, the victim demanded for the N10,000 which was their agreement, but he refused to give her because he had only eight thousand naira with him.
This led to hot argument between them. He then gave his phone to the deceased to hold and wait for him on the road to go and bring the money for her. While the deceased was waiting, the suspect came back with a knife unknown to the victim and he stabbed her deeply on her neck resulting to the instant death of the deceased.”
Abimbola added that the State Commissioner of Police have ordered the immediate transfer of the suspect to the homicide section of the state criminal investigation and intelligence department for discreet investigation.

A Nigerian man recently had his Car side-mirror knocked-off but he was shocked to discover that the offender (who could have opted to remain unknown) dropped a note with his contact information while also apologizing for the damage caused.
According to the man identified as Nifemi, he wishes everyone in Nigeria would be civil just like the man who knocked off his mirror.
