4. Right Team: As part of his short term plan, Mr. Oyebanjo failed to put together the right team in terms of making good music such as song writing and production.
One would have expected his team to immediately bring on board a producer/production team or songwriter to immediately understudy Don Jazzy’s effect on D’Banj’s music and see how it could be improved upon.
This might have helped in the type of music churned out by him. Being a musician involves composing, writing, singing, playing, arranging, recording, producing, mixing, mastering, promoting, performing and lots more.

This writer is absolutely right. The reason there is still the name Dbanj today is not because of what he has done since after his split with Don Jazzy but those before the split.
If nothing else, Dbanj should go back to playing the harmonica in his songs and get a song writer.
You are so stupid for running down another man’s success. Dban’j made don jazzy cos he hyped him so much and played his boy for him to maintain the status of a don. If dban’j wasn’t successful played along with his hype for don jazzy he would look ordinary like other producers. Don jazzy has remained ordinary since their split,featuring in artists music something he doesn’t do when they were Mo hit which Dban’j maintains till date that tells you the difference of one who is struggling to make ends meet and the other. His so called Mavin are just ordinary and nothing special about them. Don jazzy has lost it,average beats,songs which wouldn’make the top 10 and average artists,is that the best don jazzy can do? Has dbanj ever knocked on ur door, for bread before, even if he has, you should have at least make it confidential. You expect people to salute ur rubbish write up? So many break up between partners in the music industry, I don’t see why dbanj and Don jazzy case is so different.
