According to the reality star, in the quest for success she wrote the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination and the West African Senior School Certificate Examination four times.
In an interview with Glazia Magazine, the former Big Brother Naija housemate disclosed that she took her fourth WASSCE during her third year in the university, in a bid to switch to a course she was passionate about.
In her words,
“I was stressing me and I had to write WAEC and Jamb four times. I think I wrote the fourth WAEC shortly before the reality show. In school, I actually helped people from the art class with their assignments. Then in university, people studying theatre arts and mass comms would come to meet me to help them with assignments.”
These were people in 400 level while I was in 100 level studying Agriculture. I was basically studying something I had no interest in, and helping people do their own assignments. So, when I wrote my fourth WAEC exam, I was hoping to pass and move. I didn’t mind starting from the beginning because I was already in a 300 level Agriculture.”

Mouth-to-mouth resuscitation, a form of artificial ventilation, is the act of assisting or stimulating respiration in which a rescuer presses their mouth against that of the victim and blows air into the person’s lungs.
This act was however questioned by onlookers who thought he was gay because of the way he “kissed” the drowning man.

A Nigerian national identified as Babatope Joseph Aderinoye, 30, was sentenced to federal prison for violations related to a bank fraud and money laundering conspiracy.
Babatope Aderinoye, was convicted in October of 2020, on charges of conspiracy to commit bank fraud, wire fraud and money laundering, as well as aggravated identity theft and mail fraud. Aderinoye committed the crimes by obtaining fake passports using other people’s identities. He then used those passports to set up fake businesses and bank accounts. Investigators connected him to at least 13 different aliases, 12 fake businesses and 40 fraudulent bank accounts.
He used various e-mail compromise scams and telephone compromise scams to defraud the victims. His co-conspirators would pose as someone familiar and encourage their victims to wire funds to fraudulent bank accounts. Once the money arrived in Aderinoye’s fraudulent accounts, he would withdraw the funds and transfer them to a bank account he had set up in Nigeria.
Fox4 News reported that between June 2018 and September 2019, Aderinoye stole more than $6.7 million from his victims, included a man who lost his entire retirement savings, Community ISD in southeastern Collin County and the non-profit organization Project 4031. In addition to his prison sentence, Aderinoye was ordered to pay nearly $2 million in restitution.

It was an embarrassing moment for Inkosi Xolile Ndevu, a member of the South Africa’s National House of Traditional Leaders, after his wife accidentally appeared stark naked during a virtual parliamentary meeting.
The body of the 23 traditional leaders in South Africa, recently held a virtual meeting of Parliament’s portfolio committee on co-operative governance and traditional affairs. However, Inkosi Ndevu whose wife didn’t know he was in a virtual meeting appeared stark naked behind him.
He was busy explaining how the Eastern Cape province was working with medical doctors on the matter of initiate deaths, when his wife walked into the room stark naked, oblivious that she was appearing on national television.
The portfolio committee chairwoman, Faith Muthambi, immediately reprimanded Ndevu saying this had happened before.
In her words,
“Inkosi, the person behind you is not properly dressed, we are seeing everything, yho! This is very disturbing what we are seeing. And this is not the first time this is happening, every time we see you, we see these unholy pictures. You are on live television.”
Embarrassed, Inkosi Ndevu apologised for the incident explaining that he was unaware that his wife had been in the background.
“I’m very sorry. I was focusing on the camera and not behind me. I’m so embarrassed, chair.” He said.
Following the incident the South Africa’s National House of Traditional Leaders, through its chairman Ikosi Sipho Mahlangu have issued an apology to the public.

In a recent report, a water vendor was beaten to death and his corpse set on fire by religious extremists in Sade village, Darazo Local Government Area of Bauchi state over alleged blasphemy.
According to the Nigerian Tribune, the deceased, identified as Talle Mai Ruwa, said to be ‘mentally unstable,’ was seized by a mob from a police Station in the village where he was being detained for allegedly blaspheming Prophet Muhammad, and lynched on Tuesday afternoon, March 30.
According to the report, the irate mob beat him to death, dragged his lifeless body around the village before setting it on fire.
A source in the village who spoke to Nigerian Tribune in Bauchi said that the late Talle who was hardworking and easy-going allegedly made the blasphemy on Monday March 29, when a girl came to fetch water from his water source, a borehole, without his consent.
The source narrated that the girl pleaded with the angry vendor in the name of God and the Prophet to allow her to fetch the water but he allegedly insulted her parents and the Prophet.
His alleged blasphemous remarks triggered outburst and tension in the village such that the village head took him to the police outpost station in the village where he spent the night.
“The next morning (Tuesday), the issue spread everywhere and everyone in the village was provoked. Later, a group of angry youths stormed the police station, subdued the police officers around and grabbed Talle. He was beaten to death and his dead body was set ablaze” the source said.
Another source said that the irate youths dragged him to the front of his compound where his aged mother helplessly watched his body being set ablaze and burnt to ashes.
Amid rumoured messy breakup between power couple, Davido and his baby mama, Chioma, Nigerians have dug up old videos of the singer fondling Chioma’s bosom in public.
In the throwback videos serving rounds online, Davido is seen touching his fiancee’s chest while on a commercial aircraft and in another in the presence of his bodyguard.

Nollywood actor and philanthropist, Williams Uchemba has shared his opinion about those who believe rumours about a person without waiting to hear their side of the story.
In a video shared on his IG page, Williams opined that anyone who does such has been hating on the person and looking for a tangible reason to back their hatred.
According to him, anyone who doesn’t give the victim an opportunity to clear their name before believing lies about the person has always had the intention of being an enemy.

A former Nigerian beauty queen and doctorate student has been shot dead while sitting in her car in front of her family’s home in Philadelphia.
24-year-old Najeebat Sule, who was known to her loved ones as Najee, was killed as she was texting a friend in her Toyota shortly before 6pm on March 12, just steps away from her residence in the 8800 block of Frankford Avenue.
At the moment, police have not found a motive and have made no arrests, leaving Najeebat’s family and friends searching for answers. They have also gone into hiding for fear of their own lives.
“I can’t think of anything that would make anyone want to kill her,” Najeebat’s close friend Habibat Magaji, told the Philadelphia Inquirer.
Magaji was among the last people to have seen Najeebat alive before she was shot. The two women had spent the night before at Magaji’s home, eating snacks and watching Netflix together.
Less than 24 hours later, Najeebat was sitting in her gray Toyota Corolla, exchanging text messages with Magaji, when an unidentified man walked up to the vehicle with a gun drawn and shot her several times.
Najeebat’s father, Adewale Sule, heard the gunfire and came out from the house just in time to see the suspect fire the last of the shots at his daughter.
Mr Sule said: “I saw the guy shooting my daughter. He shot the last round and I pursued him. He ran back to his car.”
Najeet was rushed to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital, where she was pronounced dead about 30 minutes later.
Her mother, Tawakalitu Sule, said she last heard from Najeebat less than two hours before the shooting, when her daughter asked her when she was going to be home.
“All of my children have been crying every day because of their big sister. They really miss her. I miss my daughter,” she said.
Najeet is survived by her parents and two sisters.
“She was very talented, smart and funny,” one of her siblings told 6abc.
The family are currently staying at an undisclosed location over unspecified concerns for their safety. Sule and her family moved to Philadelphia from Nigeria in the early 2000s.
Sule had only recently earned a Master’s degree in public health from West Chester University and was pursuing a doctorate.
In 2019, she was crowned a second runner-up at the Miss Nigeria International pageant.
The pageant organisers wrote on Facebook following her death,
“Queen Najibat was an amazing young lady whose presence at the Miss Nigerian beauty pageant left a great ripple that continues to resonate. She was a breath of fresh air and her presence added a distinct touch that made the event memorable. She carried herself with great dignity and grace and her strength of character and approachability made her such a joy to work with.”

In an interview with BBC Igbo, the billionaire politician explained the economical reason behind his choice of polygamy.
According to him, the average northerner has at least two wives, which he argued helps the society by preventing the women from being promiscuous.
According to him: “The average Northerner marrying two, three, four women, they are helping the society because it is the economic downturn that has affected so many women who you see doing prostitution and all that.
“But the fallacy of it all is that Christianity does not allow that in the South and yet, the average Southern man has 10 girlfriends.”

Nigerian Singer, Davido, has been dominating news headlines all week and it has been a very interesting series of reports.
It all began when shocking photos of the father-of-three kissing his alleged new girlfriend, Mya Yafai, went viral on social media.
Social media users gave their hot takes and there was so much criticism from different corners as Davido’s attitude was considered disrespectful to his fiancée and Baby Mama, Chioma Avril.
In truth, neither party have confirmed nor debunked the widespread talks that their relationship has hit the rocks but it is almost evident that they have not been in the same physical space together for a while now.
