Plus-size talented Nigerian actress, Eniola Badmus has replied a social media troll who body shamed her, over her recent photos on Instagram.

Eniola had shared a beautiful photo of herself on the photo sharing platform, and captioned it,

“Good morning to you all its another Sunday morning. Welcome to the start of a great week. It’s a wonderful week full of great things, as you set out this week may all your activities align with God’s plan for your life”.

“I pray the peace and joy of the Lord overshadow your life. Have a great week ahead.”

However the social media troll took to the comment section to drag the actress and advised she hits the gym.

A Nigerian lady identified as Queen Vivian on social networking platform, Twitter, took to her page to reveal that a man interested in going out with her offered her N150,000 as a way of watering the ground to make her accept his advances but she turned him down.

According to Vivian, her admirer paid her N150k for a chance to go on a date with her but she rejected the money, stating that she is not a cheap person.

She gave the revelation via her Twitter account, where she revealed that the money was from a fan on the micro-blogging platform.

“A twitter Fan Paid Me 150k just to go On a Date With Him, I rejected the Offer. I’m not cheap,” Vivian wrote alongside the photos she shared.

Nigerian singer and actor, Falz, has taken a swipe at Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari over congratulatory message he sent to US President-elect, Joe Biden.

In the statement sent, Buhari had stated that democracy entails respect for the will of the people.

Taking to his official Twitter page on Saturday, the message read in part:

Nigerian singer, Ayodeji Balogun better known as Wizkid has shared how he was able to work with late Bob Marley‘s son, Damian Marley on his Made In Lagos (MIL) album.

Off Wizkid’s Made In Lagos album, he featured Jamaican DJ, singer, songwriter and record producer, Damian Marley on a track titled “Blessed”.

Talking about his studio session with Damian, the smile crooner disclosed that the Jamaican singer changed his life.

He made this revelation in an interview with London based Capital Xtra FM on Saturday, November 7th.

In his words,

“He changed the way I even just live my daily life. That session really changed a lot for me.”

According to Wizkid, he got the chance to work together with Damian in London after the end of a music festival. according to him, Damian joined him in the studio immediately after his performance.

However, the Nigerian musician earlier revealed that he turned down collaborations while recording his highly anticipated Made In Lagos album.

He made the revelation while speaking in an interview with D boy Dayo and Marsour Bellow of The Beat London 106.3 fm.

When asked about the album, Wizkid said,

“Made in Lagos’ has been 3 years coming and I’m just excited that I’m putting this out cause it’s like… The title of the album is self-explanatory, I’m made in Lagos, that’s where I’m from, that’s what I represent, it runs in my blood and I never run away from that. I live, breathe that place mehn because I love that place, that place made me who I’m today.

“I just really wanted to tell a dope story, that Yo! this is where I’m from, this is where I represent, that no matter the success, no matter how far we go, this is what it is. We make amazing music, we make amazing art and so with this album, I want to make amazing music. Just really music, I wasn’t trying to make anything for radio or for like the clubs or anything. I’m just making real music, just showing my strength.

I feel bad, I kinda broke a lot of relationships with this album, you know, guys, it is love forever, it’s nothing personal, we just making music. They know that every artiste I ever worked with like, before I even work with any artiste, we are on a wave, we are on an understanding, I work with normal people.

“I hate hype artiste, I like it normal. So when we work and I’m like yo, this is a dope record but its not going to be on this album but on the next one, like we get it, we keep it real at all times. Nigerian singer, Flavour, has advised ladies to stop deceiving men with waist trainers and edited pictures on social media.

Flavour made this known in a recent Instagram Live session with his fans, during which he disclosed that the events of the past few months helped him to restructure himself.

During the InstaLive session, he said he has been without any woman for one month now and thus, the next woman he will come in contact with must be worth it.

On why he is still single and yet to be married, Flavour said he does not want to rush into marriage now as he wouldn’t want to “be looking outside”.

In his words, “This has been a time of sober reflection. I have been vulnerable and I have decided to be true to myself. I have been a victim of circumstance. Most times, they (women) are not what you expect when you meet them in real life. I am focused now.

If I visit your (social media) page and see a lot of edited pictures, I would move out. The coronavirus and everything else that have happened this year have opened my eyes. The same way youths decided to protest against bad governance was the same way I looked at my life.

I have been womanless for a month. I am fully awake. I must have a meeting and see you (any woman I would be involved with) very well. I may glance through your pictures but that won’t mean anything until I see you physically.

I have changed my hairstyle. I am ready now. Do you know what it means for me to be womanless for a whole month? I have been feeding and giving my body the required nutrients, so any woman I come in contact with now must be worth it.”

Flavour also denied rumours making the rounds that he secretly got married.

According to his words, “Did I show you any wife? You guys are giving me (high) blood pressure. What is in a woman is not yet clear to me. Some tell me, ‘I thought you are married’. To get married is a beautiful thing.

However, I don’t want to get married now and still be looking outside. I belong to the wild world and I cannot be caged. I have used the opportunity to reevaluate my life. I am a very strong man. I cannot be deceived by Instagram.”

Speaking on his encounter with a fan, the Ada Ada crooner said, “I once took a picture with a lady and she insisted that I should hold her waist. I was scared that she could be someone’s wife or girlfriend. As I tried to touch her, she said I should hold her very well. I tried holding her waist and my hand touched something very strong like stone. I noticed she wore a waist trainer. There was a space between her buttocks and back. When she was walking away, I noticed the waist trainer.”

Speaking further, he added that if he was dating the lady in question and they were about getting intimate, he would have been disappointed at the sight of the waist trainer. He also complained about the make-up worn by ladies, saying it had become alarming.

The highlife musician and proud father of three advised women to always be proud of their bodies and stop the deceit.

One of the people who died in Rolls Royce crash with Zimbabwean socialite Ginimbi, was wanted in Malawi over US$32m ‘Cashgate’ heist (video)

One of the victims of the fatal Rolls Royce accident which claimed the life of Zimbabwean businessman and socialite, Genius ‘Ginimbi’ Kadungure, is reported to have been a fugitive from Malawi justice.

Recall that Ginimbi and three of his friends died on the spot on Sunday morning after his Rolls Royce was involved in a head-on collision with a Honda Fit before veering off the road, crashing into trees and bursting into flames.

The now-deceased Limumba Karim was actually wanted in Malawi over a US$32 million fraud which has since been termed cashgate. The other two victims have been identified as Alichia from Mozambique and socialite and video vixen Michelle Amuli, popularly known as Mimi Moana.

The cashgate scandal, described as one of the biggest financial scandals in Malawi’s history, occurred in 2013 — the Malawian state is alleged to have been defrauded of US$32 million, almost 1% of its annual GDP, in just six months, as money was siphoned out of government coffers and resulted in donors who bankroll the country’s budget by up to 40% pulling the plug on aid.

According to Nyasa Times, Karim faced money laundering charges related to the scandal involving US$2.6 million before he escaped justice and went to South Africa.

After his bail was revoked in January 2017 and an arrest warrant was issued, he reportedly failed to show up in court prompting his lawyer Wapona Kita to renounce his representation.

Kita said at that time;

I would like to discharge myself from this case as counsel for seventh accused person Mr Limumba Karim.

I can’t get hold of him. I don’t know where he is, he is out of reach and since there is no word from him I can’t continue standing here representing him without communication when I don’t know his whereabouts.

Karim is reportedly survived by three children, one in South Africa, a new-born in Mozambique and one in Malawi. Iharare reported that his remains are expected to be repatriated to Malawi for burial.

Nigerian journalist and producer of CNN Africa, Aisha Salaudeen, has outed a restaurant in the Ikeja area of Lagos for allegedly refusing to let her and a female colleague, eat inside their restaurant because they weren’t accompanied by a man.

Aisha in a post shared on her Twitter handle, wrote,

“I got kicked out of Harzoyka restaurant in GRA Ikeja today because according to them, they have a new policy – no women allowed. This is a restaurant I’ve visited multiple times in the past few years.

Former Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi’s nephew, Aminu Musa Abdullahi has reportedly been abducted by suspected kidnappers.

According to a report by Daily Trust, Abdullahi popularly known as Yaya Baba, was abducted while on transit to Kano along Abuja-Kaduna highway last week.

A source told the publication that the kidnappers have contacted the family for ransom, but did not disclose the amount.

The source said,

“The family has sourced the requested amount and when the person assigned to deliver the money to the kidnappers set out to meet them, he lost contact with them completely. Till this moment, they have not communicated to the family.”

A Nigerian man has shared a heart wrenching story of how a dispatch rider lost his life while on the way to make a delivery.

According to the man known as Mike Adesh, the dispatch rider was supposed to deliver an item to his mother, however, after much delay, she tried his number but it stopped going through at some point.

He added that his mum was hit with shock when they discovered that the dispatch rider had an accident on the way and died.

The news of the untimely death of popular socialite, Ginimbi rocked the internet in the early hours of Sunday, November 8th.

The Zimbabwean businessman lost his life in a road accident, while on his way to a friend’s birthday party. Three other persons also died in the accident which occurred along Borrowdale Road in Harare.

Ginimbi who was coming from his night club “Dreams Night Club” after a birthday party celebration in company of his friends, Karim, Elisha, and Moana with Kadungure who also died on the spot.

However, videos of his last minutes before his death have surfaced on the internet, as many blamed his death on excessive drinking and reckless driving.

A Twitter user @_DJMosh wrote,

“If anything, life has proven to us so many times recently to stop drinking and driving. #Ginimbi was living his best life a couple of hours before he was confirmed dead this morning from a car accident. May his soul rest in peace”.

Nigerian socio-political activist, Aisha Yesufu has slammed music sensation, Davido following his tweet claiming $3million is chicken change.

The award winning singer made this claim in a bid to shade his colleague, Wizkid after he bagged $3million endorsement deal with UBA.

In his opinion, musicians should work extremely hard to own parts of companies rather than signing endorsement deals.

However, netizens believed the father of three tweeted that because he was yet to get a proper deal that worth so much money.

A fan wrote,

“Davido just said f._v-ck endorsement deal because he doesn’t get proper offers from proper companies. Who would say no to a UBA deal worth $3 million?”

Davido again replied,

“3 million dollars? Lmao. Something wey go finish now now Cc @icebox.”

In response Gimba Kakanda stated that $3 million is a lot of money, even to the richest person in Africa.

He tweeted,

“3 million dollars is a lot of money even for Dangote. The richest Blackman on the planet would sense any debit of that size. That’s about 1.4 billion naira in the parallel market today.”

Gimba’s tweet caught Aisha’s attention, and she seized the opportunity to extensively explain the different ways people see money and how they react to it. According to Aisha, while Dangote would be thinking of how multiply the money, Davido would be finding ways to squander the money.

“Business people and artistes are on a different levels my brother. To Dangote go think of how to make the money work for him while David will think of how to spend the money.”

Nollywood actress, Rahama Sadau will be appearing in a sharia court in Kaduna over allegations of blasphemy that were levelled against her after she shared racy photos on social media.

Recall that Sadau is alleged to be under police investigation following how the racy photos she shared triggered blasphemous comments. It was gathered that the investigation is linked to the blasphemous comment on the Holy Prophet Mohammed the racy photos incited.

A press release signed by Lawal Muhammad Gusau on behalf of the Concerned and Peace Loving Muslim Ummah, listed some conditions that must be met before she will be able to defend herself.

It was also noted that the case against her “is a matter relating to the Hadiths of Prophet and the Glorious Holy Qur’an and not a matter relating to the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria“.
