Nigerian entertainment journalist Joey Akan, has shared an intriguing story of how he helped his office cleaner achieve job progress and how it improved the cleaner’s life.
He claimed to have once seen the cleaner using Photoshop videos in his office and asked why, to which the cleaner replied that he didn’t own a computer.
Joey, who described the events on Twitter, claimed he bought the domestic helper a laptop so he could study graphic design with his first paycheck.
The podcaster went on to say that the same cleaner recently used money he earned from design work to buy himself a vehicle.
He clarified that he chose to assist his cleaner since, in a similar situation, a merchant had given him his first computer as a student when he was unable to pay for it out of sympathy.
He wrote;
“I once walked into my office kitchen, saw the cleaner watching Photoshop videos. I asked why, and he said “I don’t have a computer.
My first salary, I asked him for the laptop price and paid for it. Today, that cleaner just bought his first car from that graphic design, and I’m celebrating with him.
Why did I do it? My first computer, I couldn’t afford the full price as a student, but I wanted to write. A trader in Port Harcourt, simply took pity on me that hot afternoon, collected what I had and gave me a new laptop. In my own way, I’m paying that kindness forward.”

“My mother was nearly stabbed to death just because of recharge card. I remember I don’t know what happened the next thing I saw was that he was pulling her. He raised the knife up and I shouted that what are you doing? And he dropped the knife and he walked away. He attempted again two times and also there was also one time I don’t know what she did, I don’t know how it happened he hit her so hard she hit the cupboard, I can never forget what that cupboard looked like, that cupboard was brown I was doing my quantitative reasoning homework.”
An unapologetic Christian feminist who hails from the Northern part of the country and also happens to be a medical doctor, has given her fellow gender a couple of hacks into deceiving Nigerian men into marriage.
@DWhytewolf on X(Twitter) is quite certain that men are gullible and rather easy to deceive and should a woman be seeking marriage to a man, she need not do much but follow some guidelines she laid out on the microblogging platform.
The feminist’s guideline came after a different Twitter user had aired their opinion that some men —presumably entertainers— use “baddies to push a promiscuous” agenda but end up marrying well behaved women. This user was reacting to a now viral video of music sensation, Kizz Daniel and his spouse.
The Twitter user had written,
They use the baddies to push promiscuity and all sorts then marry the total well behaved woman and live happily ever after.
“To stay for township, na wisdom them Dey use”
In a counter notion to the user’s statement, @DWhytewolf said most Nigerian men are actually easy to deceive. According to her, all it takes is a couple of pretentious attitudes and they’ll rope in their lifelong partner.
She wrote in her tweet,
It’s so easy to deceive Nigerian men.. when you’re ready to marry
Start dressing modest
Reduce make up
Cook
Be gentle, don’t argue too much
Stay home a lot
Don’t be on social media
Don’t drink or smoke
I swear you’ll deceive any of them that you are good. Lmao gullible lot

It would appear that for Big Brother Naija housemate, ChiChi is no longer in the exotic dancing business – a profession she had never shied away in revealing she engaged in.
The curvaceous reality TV star and businesswoman, was a housemate in the Level Up edition of the popular reality show and was one of the popular housemates as she even made it to the grand finale of the show which saw her eviction.
During her time on the show, Chichi was never shy to mention that she was in the exotic dancing profession and she made sure to prove it occasionally in the house, her “service” which was enjoyed by some male members of the show.
Well, in a new development, it would seem that Chichi is no longer in the stripping business. This came into light after a video of her trying to give a lap dance to her stylist emerged online.
In the video, Chichi is seen being glammed up by her supposed stylist and while the latter was trying to concentrate on glamming her up, Chichi was being rather playful and trying to extend the play to her stylist.
As it looked like the stylist was uninterested in Chichi’s attempt, the reality star scowled at her stylist telling her to stay put so she can give her a lap dance. She then went on to say “When I was an ex0tic dancer, do you know how much I charge?” which can be interpreted as her no longer indulging in that line of profession anymore.
Big Brother Naija star, Doyin David has revealed her dating preferences, stating that she would never go out with another famous person.
Doyin recently discussed her thoughts on her love life in an interview with Hip TV.
She was quite explicit in saying that she has always liked to date guys who work in the business world and that she has not changed her preference.
She attributed this inclination to her own experiences and the stability of her previous partnerships.
The reality TV star disclosed that she has been friends with her current lover for nearly a decade and that she has always wished to maintain the privacy of her personal life and family.
In her words;
“I don’t see myself dating somebody in the limelight. All my life, I’ve always dated men in the corporate world. Those are the men I met; maybe it is because of what my life was like before. I have known my current partner for like 10 years.
I don’t just see myself dating someone in the limelight. I don’t want my family out there. Let me be out there. But I want to go back home to some sanity. I’m submissive to my partner even now that we are not married.
I believe that two people cannot lead a successful relationship. They will clash. One person has to be more agreeable. That’s why I keep saying a woman’s most important job is choosing the right man to lead her.”

Nigerian comedian AY Makun has shared his thoughts on the regrettable direction social media has been taking lately.
AY asserted that everyone dumb enough to speak out and express something that moves the crowd is applauded.
He continued by saying it’s funny how some individuals wear their ignorance with a great lot of dignity and style, based just on what they see or feel.
He wrote;
“Social media is now the new king Kong, where feelings are now more important than objective facts. If a foolish person comes out and says something that unlocks the feeling of an audience, he or she gets praised. But if a wise person comes and says something that is contrary to how people want to feel, he or she gets persecuted.
Social media is a place where you dont need formal training to know how to be a fool. You just have to be born foolish and be free enough to express your foolishness. It’s a place that gives you confidence even in your ignorance. It is the only place where you can freely express the nothingness of your not knowing close anything before your interferences.
The funny part is that a lot of people carry their ignorance with a lot of class and a lot of confidence based on what they see or feel. But we must also understand that each community is entitled to have a fool or a community of fools that recognizes and accepts the foolishness of others as a brand to submit to. Such foolishness does not stop you from being a man or woman. It does not even stop you from not having fans and followers cut across the strata of different foolish endeavors.
Having said that, more foolish people will continue to evaluate their performances in the space by creating sensationalism and negative viral content for the [entertainment pleasures of their different audiences. But as long as foolish individuals do not care about the stress, pain, anxiety, loneliness, and depression they bring you, the more it is also very important for them to enjoy the consequences of their actions.

A Facebook user and influencer with the name, Chike Chekwas has taken to his wall to lament his dating experience with cheating women who shattered his good heart into a thousand pieces.
This rant happened after he caught his babe with another man. More shocking is he discovering she has been dating more than one guy alongside him. He was in fact, the side piece. His previous relationship had ended this same way too.
Chike listed in his heartbreak story the new resolutions and rules he has made against his future love entanglement(s).
Had a few flashbacks and I discovered some stuff:
– Every woman lies. A lot. No exception. And they’re very bad at it.
– I am always available for whoever I’m dating. No delayed replies, without reason. Which is a very bad thing to do. I need to go off for like 2 weeks without replying her calls or texts.
– I always treat my women like humans, which is very bad and they don’t appreciate. I forget they should be treated like tr@sh, for them to appreciate me.
– Late replies = She’s cheating on you. Has been proven over and over.
– I always make the mistake of not keeping up to 5 side chicks. When I’m dating you, I discard all my beeches and focus on you. It’s a stupid move. Only one woman shouldn’t enjoy Chike.
– To women, it’s a crime for a man to complain.
– Women don’t like good people. I now believe that saying. So treat them like tr@sh whenever you come across them.
– Never show a woman you love her. They don’t like it. Never make her feel like the best woman in the world. She prefers the abuse.
– I always act matured by talking things out. Which is very stupid. If they go low, you go lower. Let the relationship spoil.
– Women are not good people. No woman is. And what do we do to bad people? Do bad things to them.
Have a nice day, if you want.
Are there truths in what he said? or is he overreacting?

Some husbands think that they are more smarter than their wife when they engage in adultery.
Oga na pity your wife they pity you, if she pay you back you fit run mad or commit suicide
If your wife need more than ten men that she will have extra marital affair with today she will get them free of charge
She is only respecting God, honouring you and the marital vow she took…
Yes, I intentionally typed the above statement
If I tell you the caliber of men in my wife’s DM with messages like; “hello pretty, my queen, hello dear, pretty angel, hi damsel etc. You go no say women they try
The reason why wife don’t misbehave is because women are more responsible, they have dignity and integrity than men… They have self value and worth
Men respect your wives, stop making them share innocent tears… Don’t kill what she has for you, if a woman’s love die it will be very difficult to revive it a again.
Let’s treat them right. They deserve the best. #cheatinghusband #adultery.”

The reaction of netizens to this strange performance was equally funny as netizens would rarely pass up the chance at mocking the ‘religious fuckery’ Africans has decided to participate in.

The online viewers didn’t fail to notice that it was majorly women who filled the church. Someone dropped a meme of Apostle Paul writing furiously to the church in Africa.
