JUST IN: Migos rapper, Takeoff reportedly shot dead in Houston (VIDEO)

It appears to be a dark start to the month of November as news have begun making rounds on social media that Migos rapper, Takeoff was shot dead in Houston.

Photos and a video shared online shows the alleged rapper laying in a pool of his own blood as people surround him in confusion and distortion.

Following the viral report, it’s alleged that the rapper met his end because of an escalated situation involving fellow rap member, Quavo and a bunch of other people they were playing a dice game with.

The screenshot of a message explaining what happened that led to the death of the rapper was shared on Twitter. Read as you scroll,

Photos that were also shared shows Takeoff in an outfit that is quite similar to the one of the person laying in a pool of blood.

Quavo as well, is also seen in an outfit identical to one of someone moving around the person laying in blood.

Big Brother Naija season 6 winner, Hazel Oyeze Onu, popularly known as Whitemoney, has been conferred with a chieftaincy title by the Igbo speaking community in Lagos state.

The reality TV star took to his Instagram page to share the news on Monday, October 31, with his fans and followers. He was conferred with the title “Ugwu Ndigbo” which means “The pride of Igbos”.

He posted a video of the auspicious moment he received the chieftaincy title and wrote,

“First of all,

“Our People say when a child washes his hands well, he may sit with the Elders”

Another title added: “UGWU NDIGBO” ie “THE PRIDE OF IGBOS”

It was another humbling moment for me last Saturday as I was conferred as “UGWU NDIGBO” by the Igbo speaking community, Lagos State.

A while back, Whitemoney disclosed that he is ready to be in a relationship and interested ladies should shoot their shots at him.

The reality show star in a video shared on his Instagram page, said he was tired of acting like a hard guy who doesn’t need love or a girlfriend because he has come to realize that he needs a babe.

The 29-year-old brand influencer who seemed to be under an influence, told single ladies crushing on him that this is their opportunity to reach out to him, assuring them that he would not ignore them.

Sex workers in Kenyan county now reusing condoms following shortage

Commercial sex workers in Busia town, Kenya, have shared that they wash and reuse the condoms to meet sexual needs of their customers.

One sex worker who spoke to a local television station, stated that the county has been experiencing a shortage of female and male condoms for a while and the few that are available are from the neighbouring country, Uganda.

She told NTV,

“We are pleading with the government to release condoms to Busia because our lives are at risk.”

Other residents also said they risk unplanned pregnancies if the government doesn’t intervene.

Janerose Ambuchi, the Director of Medical Services in Busia county, who said that her office is not aware of the recycling of contraceptives in the area, blamed the short supply of condoms to a decline in international donor funding.

She said,

“It has not come to my desk but if it’s happening it should not be allowed to continue because the integrity of the condom is going to be affected. The second and third use because of lack of condoms will expose this generation to danger.

“The county (Busia) is experiencing an acute shortage of condoms which is not a Busia problem alone. It’s a national problem. This is a donor-funded commodity based on a global fund. At the moment, donor funding has dwindled.”

Popular Nigerian singer, Wizkid has seemingly commiserated with his colleague, Davido, following news of his son, Ifeanyi’s death.

Recall that the young lad, who turned 3 few days ago, passed away after drowning in the swimming pool in his father’s home in Banana Island on Monday, October 31. He was rushed to the hospital but was sadly pronounced dead on arrival.

Shortly after the report was shared online on Monday night, Wizkid took to his Twitter page around 11:33PM to promote his forthcoming album ‘More Love, Less Ego’ which is set to drop this Friday, November 4.

Though the news of Ifeanyi’s death was not yet confirmed at the time as netizens were waiting for his parents to release a statement about the tragic viral news, Wizkid, on seeing the commotion online, deleted the promotional tweet in less than a minute.

“The revelation was taken for granted” – Singer, Davido’s foster brother hints that there was a prophecy about Ifeanyi’s death

Nigerian singer, Davido’s foster brother, Emeka Senator, has hinted that the family had earlier received a prophecy about Ifeanyi’s death, but it was taken for granted.

Davido’s three-year-old son with his fiancée, Chioma, died on Monday, October 31st after he drowned in a swimming pool at his dad’s residence in the Banana Island area of Lagos State.

He was reportedly rushed to Evercare Hospital in Lekki , where he was confirmed dead by one of the doctors on duty.

Ifeanyi’s parents had traveled for a family gathering to Ibadan yesterday and had left the little boy with his minders, who couldn’t explain how he entered the pool without being noticed and drowned. Read here.

While the bereaved parents are yet to react to the tragic incident, Davido’s foster brother revealed in a post on his Insta-stories that the family had received a warning about the incident.

He, however, didn’t give details of the prophecy but noted that they took it for granted and apologized to God.

“The revelation was taken for granted, God we are so sorry”, he wrote.

Meanwhile, the Lagos State Police Command has confirmed that all members of the singer’s domestic staff are currently in police custody.

How 3-year-old girl was discovered alive inside well three days after she went missing in Jos (Photos)

A 3-year-old girl, identified as Lydia Azatyom was discovered inside an abandoned well three days after she went missing in the Tudun Wada area of Jos, Plateau State.

According to reports, the minor was last seen playing with her friends outside their house on Thursday, October 27, 2022 before she mysteriously disappeared.

Efforts made by her family and neighbours to locate her whereabouts were futile until three days later, when one Dauda Dung confirmed that she has been found.

According to Tudun Wada Broadcast, a couple of young men found the girl inside the abandoned well in an uncompleted building within the area.

It’s reported that the young men had visited the site to defecate and heard sounds of movement inside the dry well. It was also learnt that the building has long been abandoned and now used for open defecation and dump.

Lydia had bruises around her head and was rushed to the hospital where she is currently receiving for medical attention.

It is however yet be ascertained if Lydia mistakenly fell into the well or someone dumped her there.

A young Nigerian lady has shared the astounding testimony of how she was completely made whole after suffering kidney failure.

The lady, identified as Emediong Uko, in a video posted on her Instagram page, narrated how her two failed kidneys jerked back to life without any dialysis.

According to her, she took ill in October and thought it was malaria or typhoid but upon examination, doctors discovered that her two kidneys were dead. She was given the option to either undergo kidney transplant or lifelong dialysis.

However, she kept worshipping God in spite of her pain and trusted him to heal her. After spending 23 days at the hospital, she was given a clean bill of health to the surprise of nurses and doctors at the hospital.

Emediong shared videos of her moments in the hospital and gave a detailed narration of how she was healed,

“MORE THAN CONQUERORS ⚔️:

I’m overall grateful for life! 🙏🏽🌤🤍 What I thought was malaria and typhoid spiraled into a myriad of illnesses with the highlight being Kidney Failure on both kidneys. In a matter of 28 days, every horrible illness from high fever, tinnitus & partial hearing loss, internal bleeding, a urinary tract infection, anaemia, fluid accumulation in the lungs and a drastic 20kg weight loss came upon me. When the doctors had pronounced both the kidney tissues dead, they couldn’t even tell me an estimate as to when I’d leave the hospital. They gave me options like transplants and lifelong dialysis to keep me alive for longer than I had.

I asked the Holy Spirit one morning- “are these kidneys really dead like they say?”
And he responded saying “they are only SLEEPING. Speak to them to wake up”.

My friend @victoriamusaa pointed me to Mark 5:41 where Jesus also saw a dead girl and said she was ‘sleeping’. From then the words “talitha koum” (which means “wake up” as Jesus said ) were my anthem. I actually spoke to this kidney like it had the intelligence to wake up- because it does. Not even up to the next day (Friday last week) the doctor tells me she checked again and the tissue wasn’t completely dead. For the next few days the nurses were scared + impressed that I was doing amazing without any need for dialysis. As of Wednesday, I got my clean bill of health that both kidneys had picked back up to normal functioning on their own. When we say “more than conquerors” it’s not just a phrase. It was never a metaphor. When you have the life of God in you, nothing qualifies you as ‘normal’. He makes everything brand new! 🕊

This testimony would not be complete without the gift of men that God gave me. These people in my life gave everything in them to see me through this journey. I love you all!!! 🫶🏼”

A video serving the rounds online has captured the quite emotional moment clubgoers paused their fun to mourn singer, Davido’s late son, Ifeanyi.

The news of the tragic passing of Davido’s child with his fiancee, Chioma, hit the internet late Monday, October 31st.

The young lad who turned three only a few days ago is said to have drowned at his dad’s Banana Island home. He was rushed to Evercare Hospital in Lekki, where he was pronounced dead on arrival. Read here.

In the viral video, some clubgoers paused to mourn as Davido’s hit song “stand strong” came on. The video was shared on social media with the caption, “this song hits different now”.

In other news, a Nigerian doctor and social media commentator has shared his thoughts on the possible reasons why singer Davido returned to his lover, Chioma, after their split in 2021.

Recall that the music executive recently rekindled his love with his fiancée, Chioma, and they have continued to serve as hot couple goals ever since. Davido has also hinted that their much-anticipated wedding will be held in 2023.

Speaking on the duo’s revived relationship, the Twitter user @DrPenking, noted that Davido went back to Chioma because she never aired their dirty linen in public all through their split.

The Lagos PPRO said preliminary investigation is currently ongoing to unravel what led to the boy’s death.

He said, “Domestic staff at Davido’a home have been taken to the station to give their own account of what happened. I wouldn’t call that arrest yet.

“If after they all give their own account of what happened and after preliminary investigations, if anyone of them is found culpable, the person will now be placed under arrest”.

Many Nigerian celebrities have condoled with popular singer Davido and Chioma on the passing of their son, Ifeanyi Adeleke.

It was earlier reported that Ifeanyi, who clocked 3 few days ago, died on Monday, October 31, after drowning in the swimming pool at his father’s home in Banana Island. He was rushed to Evercare Hospital in Lekki where the medics pronounced him dead on arrival.

Reacting to the tragic news, popular comedian, AY Makun, in a post shared on his Instagram page, wrote,

“The death of a child is unnatural, unfair, and tragic, this hit me so bad.”

Davido’s close pal and actress, Eniola Badmus posted a heartbreak emoji on a black background and wrote, “But why”. However, she later took down the post.

Actor, Williams Uchemba, reacting to the sad report, said he prayed earnestly for Ifeanyi’s death to be a lie.

He wrote;

“I said I won’t believe anything on SM until I personally confirm myself. I prayed for it to be a lie.

I am upset, pained and confused.

Nobody deserves to feel this pain.

Please Say a Prayer for David, Chioma and the entire family. Nobody deserves this kind of pain. Rest up Little one.”

Media personality, Daddy Freeze who went live on his Instagram page in the wee hours of Tuesday also commented on his death before going off.

He wrote, “When the person you love is someone involved it becomes a heavy emotional burden. I am not confirming anything but bear with me I will not be live tonight.”

Instagram comedian, Lasisi Elenu, who also reacted to the news, wrote;

“Father heal your children’s heart from this pain, strengthen them in such a dark and hurtful time oh Lord.”

The 44-year-old actress, who has been married twice, in a video shared on her Instagram page, advised women to study their prospective suitor and pay attention to their red flags before deciding to settle down with them.

Davido and Chioma’s son, Ifeanyi has died.

A sad report reaching us now has confirmed that Davido’s son, Ifeanyi Adeleke is dead.

The tragic death occurred on Monday, October 31st, 2022. Ifeanyi died by drowning at his dad’s Banana Island home.

Ifeanyi was rushed to Evercare Hospital in Lekki where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

The couple had traveled for a family gathering to Ibadan yesterday and had left Ifeanyi with his minders who can’t explain how he entered the pool without being noticed and drowned.

We gathered that quite a number of people at Davido’s House when the incident happened have been arrested.

A distraught and inconsolable Davido was removed from Evercare Hospital and taken to his father’s house where he remains as at press time.

Quite a number of Davido’s industry friends are at the hospital this night.

This is so sad. May God give Davido and Chioma the fortitude to bear this deep loss.

Prison warder shoots his wife and colleague dead over alleged extramarital affair

Police in Buikwe District, Uganda are investigating circumstances under which a 28-year-old prison warder, Otim Jacob, killed his wife and a colleague.

It was gathered that the incident happened on Monday afternoon, October 31, at Bugungu Government Prison in Kanfunta, Nyenga Division in Njeru Municipal Council, Buikwe District.

Some residents who spoke to Uganda Monitor on condition of anonymity said Jacob had suspected his wife of having an extramarital affair and that could have been the cause of this incident.

“This morning we heard gunshots from the prisons and after running there, we found two dead bodies on the ground. The suspect who is a prisons warder had a misunderstanding with his wife who was also a prisons warder,” Mr David Onyango, one of the leaders in the area said.

Ssezibwa Regional Police Spokesperson, Ms Hellen Butoto, confirming the incident, identified the victims as Eunice Abwot, 25, and Edward Namanya, 30, all prison warders attached to Bugungu Prison in Buikwe District.

“The suspect has since been arrested and is under detention at Njeru Police Station as investigations continue. The bodies of the deceased have been taken to Jinja Regional Referral Hospital Mortuary for postmortem,” she added.

The Uganda Prisons Services Spokesperson, Frank Mayanja Baine, also confirmed the incident in a statement.

He said the two prison officers were allegedly shot dead by Wader No 16734 Otim Jacob who later tried to commit suicide but was subdued by other staff on duty and was detained.

According to the statement, the suspect Otim signed for a gun early morning to go for general duties but headed to the sentry where he first shot dead Abwot and when her colleague Nahamya heard the bullets and rushed to check what had happened, he was also gunned down.

Controversial Nollywood actor, Uche Maduagwu, has claimed that singer, Davido only reconciled with his estranged fiancée, Chioma, because he was struggling musically.

According to the actor, Davido realized he made a huge mistake that caused his career to suffer and he had to retrace his steps and fix up.

Uche made this statement in response to Dr. Penking’s opinion that the couple reconciled because David realized Chioma was a good woman.

The couple, who got married on October 30th 2004, were supposed to celebrate their 18th wedding anniversary yesterday but failed to acknowledge the special day. Rather, they shared casual contents on their respective social media pages.

The pair who share four children together literally snubbed their anniversary and went about their day like it was a normal Sunday.

Popular Asaba-based content creator, Eboh George, also known as Eboh Gee, has been killed by gunmen who attacked him and other travelers in Enugu.

Eboh was a travel vlogger who made documentaries that showcases the lifestyle of people in several parts of the country.

He reportedly traveled to film in Benue and Enugu state and was returning back to Asaba on Tuesday, October 11, when he and other travelers were ambushed at four corners junction, along Enugu-Umuahia Expressway.

Gunmen kill Eboh

Sadly, the 30-year-old father-of-one and one other traveler were shot dead on the spot while the others were kidnapped.

A source who relayed the tragic incident said,

“He was returning to Asaba after filming content in Benue and Enugu States. He was in his car with his friend when they were ambushed.

The gunmen took his friend and several other travelers but as they were about to drive off, they turned and shot him. He died on the spot.

They also killed another person who was also in company of a friend, the friend was equally abducted.

Eboh left his wife and son abroad and moved to Nigeria because he wanted to showcase the beauty of the country to the world through his videos. He will be laid to rest on November 9th.”

A 34-year-old Ugandan lawyer and human rights activist, Francesca Amony, has turned herself in to the police for the alleged murder of her husband, Dr. Joseph Etuk.

The suspect, a senior member of the Democratic Party (DP) and a former National Secretary for the DP Women’s League, presented herself to the Lacor police post in Bardege-Layibi division, Gulu city, after she allegedly stabbed her husband, a medical doctor, to death.

The couple reportedly had a heated argument at their home in Keyi ‘’A’’ Cell in Kabedpong Ward, Gulu City on Friday, October 28, at around 11 p.m.

Amony allegedly picked up a knife and stabbed her husband, who died on the way to Gulu Regional Referral Hospital. After the incident, she reported herself to the police for alleged murder.

An old Facebook post of the deceased husband, celebrating his wife and hailing her as a hero, is currently making the rounds online.

Late Etuk took to his Facebook page on June 9, 2022, to declare his undying love for his wife, who ended up allegedly killing him.

In the post, the doctor said he would love Amony to his dying day and noted that he couldn’t have asked for a more supportive wife.

“In this life I couldn’t ask for more you have been there for me though thick and thin when I was sick u slept in the hospital without a second thought, through my weaknesses you stood by me and how you cry my only son may God bless u and grant u everything u ever wanted in this life. I will love you to my dying day”. The post read in part.

A Nigerian man who hails from Benue state celebrated his 100th birthday thanksgiving at the Dunamis Christian Center in Abuja on Sunday, October 30.

The centenarian, who was born in 1922, shared his awesome testimony at the church in the company of some of his children who wore matching blue outfits.

The elderly man is said to have three wives, 18 children, 46 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

According to the pastor who read out his testimony, the man has never been hospitalized since he was born, doesn’t use eyeglasses and also walks without the aid of a walking stick.

Celebrity stylist, Yomi Casual, has caused a massive stir online after he shared a video of his new collection of “burnt male shirts” selling for $8900.

The fashion designer recently took to his official Instagram page to share photos and video of his latest design, a white button shirt that appeared to be severely burnt, and Nigerians had a lot to say about it.

A 33-year-old South African woman who has gained popularity over her decision to keep her virginity has criticized women who pray for their cheating spouses.

In a post shared on Facebook, the woman identified as Zukiswa Joyi, threw jabs at women who pray for their cheating husbands to change their ways instead of walking out of the marriage.

According to her, even Jesus Christ instructed people with unfaithful partners to leave the marriage, but some women prefer to stay back and endure physical and emotional abuse, and also face the risk of contracting a sexually transmitted disease.

“When it comes to cheating Spouses, Jesus Christ didn’t say you should pray, he said leave. But you Prayer warrior of the most high you are there Praying and collecting diseases and emotional and Physical abuse, even Jesus can’t save you” she wrote on Sunday, October 30.

“Even God walked out on Israel whenever she was cheating (bowing to idols or other gods) he left them in the hands of their enemies until they came back to their senses and humbled themselves and left their side coks to be with him the Husband.”

Man reportedly commits suicide because his wife left him in Ogun state

A yet-to-be-identified man has reportedly taken his own life because his wife left him.

According to eyewitnesses, the man and his wife had a misunderstanding, and she decided to walk out of the marriage.

Completely shattered by the separation from his wife, he poisoned himself to death by consuming insecticide.

He’s said to have taken his daughter to a point of sale (POS) shop to withdraw all his money so that he could give it to her, but before the transaction was through, he slumped and began frothing at the mouth.

Onlookers rushed to give him some red oil, but he eventually gave up the ghost.

An eyewitness who shared the story on Facebook said the incident happened in the Akute area of Ogun state.

“So this man ended his life because his wife left him by drinking Snipper. He drank then took his lil daughter to the POS to withdraw all his last card and give to the child. The transaction was yet to be complete when he slumped nd started foaming in his mouth, people rushed to give him red oil but he eventually gave up the ghost”. The Facebook user, Gallas Oluwaseyi wrote.
