A heartbroken Nigerian man has taken to Facebook to call out a married politician who allegedly snatched his girlfriend in Ebonyi state.

The man, identified as Johnson Njoku, recounted how the Ebonyi politician, who he claims is running for a political seat in the state, made him single after snatching his woman and even went ahead to buy her a car.

Njoku, who appears to have not gotten over the loss, vows not to support the political candidate.

“How will I support a candidate that made me single? You sef think am na”, he wrote on Facebook on Thursday.

When an inquisitive follower asked if the politician snatched his lover, Njoku answered in the affirmative and added, “He still buy motor give the girl ontop ooo.”

A young Nigerian lady has courted controversy on social media after she posted a video of her ‘encounter’ with the Holy Spirit on TikTok.

In the trending video, the female student, identified as @bad_bennyy, said she started feeling the presence of the Holy Spirit during a lecture and had to leave the class so she doesn’t cause a scene.

The young lady, who was standing in a corridor in the video, said the power of the Holy Spirit was so heavy on her that she tried to suppress it by distracting herself but she couldn’t control it.

When she couldn’t hold herself anymore, she started praying and crying in what she described as ‘intimacy with her lover’.

She could be seen mumbling words in the video but it was inaudible because a melancholic song was playing in the background.

The video has since sparked different reactions on social media, with many accusing her of faking the encounter for the sake of social media clout.

They argued that if it was real, she would not think of filming the encounter and post it on social media.

In other news, a young Nigerian lady, simply identified as Vanexxa, has recounted how a prophetess destroyed her family with a false prophecy.

The lady in a heartbreaking video that’s making the rounds online said trouble started in their home when a prophet gave a false prophecy about her father using her for rituals.

Vanexxa recounted her horrific childhood experience, saying that as a seven-year-old girl it was traumatizing to see her parents fight every day and never seem to agree on anything.

She said most of the time, her father would leave the house for months without anyone knowing his whereabouts after tumultuous fights with her mother.

She said that amid the unrest in their home, her mother took her to a prophet to pray that her father would change for the better. The prophet then told her that her father would use her for ritual.

Nollywood actress and politician, Tonto Dikeh, has taken to social media to call for prayers, admitting that she is struggling with a heavy heart.

In a quite disturbing post on her Instagram page on Thursday afternoon, the deputy governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) asked the public to pray for her.

According to her, her heart is so heavy and she’s not ashamed to admit that she needs the prayers and love from everyone at this time.

“I don’t ask for nothing at all.. Not ashamed to say I need you all, If you got a minute say a quite prayer for me. My hearts so heavy, Thanks”, she wrote.

Reacting to the post, concerned fans and followers trooped to the comments to express their concern and drop words of encouragement for the mother of one.

This comes after Tonto Dikeh took to social media to express regret after a mother whom she refused to help for the medical treatment of her ailing son lost the child.

The politician revealed the mother had sent her an Instagram DM a while ago asking for financial help for the treatment of her child who was sick, but she ignored the message because of her past experiences with people.

According to the mother of one, she refused to help the troubled mother because she thought it was a scam, as she had recently fallen victim to a scammer who used the same pity story to get almost half a million naira from her.

Sadly, she got news that the woman’s son had died, apparently due to lack of medical care, and she now regrets not helping the woman.

The first outrider of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Dickson Dike (ASC), has been killed in a ghastly accident in Abuja.

Until his sudden death, Dickson was the motorbike escort rider of the NSCDC Commandant-General, Ahmed Abubakar Audi.

According to reports, he was leading his boss’ convoy on Tuesday evening, September 27, when he ran into a culvert while driving at top speed and died on the spot.

A source who spoke to a popular news outlet said,

“The commandant-general had just closed from work on Tuesday evening and was heading home when the incident happened at an intersection close to his official residence in the Federal Capital Territory.

“Dickson was said to have attempted a stunt near a major intersection before Mr Audi’s residence at Asokoro Extension. After passing the intersection and attempting a U-turn to join the rest of the convoy, he missed the brakes and ran into a concrete culvert while on high speed.”

The spokesperson of NSCDC, Mr Shola Odumosu, confirming the incident, said,

“The entire management and staff of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) mourns a very gallant officer, ASC I Dickson Dike, the first outrider of the corps. May his soul rest in perfect peace.”

More details have emerged about the gruesome murder of popular Abuja-based singer, Anpe Pankyes, better known as Chop Boii.

It was earlier reported that the singer, who hails from Plateau State, and three of his friends were found murdered with their fingers cut off at his residence at 62 Crescent, Gwarimpa.

Chop Boi’s friend, @HrhWheelz, who shared the news on Twitter, said that the singer was working on a new song with his producer friend and two others when they were attacked.

According to him, their fingers were cut off by the assailants, who also used their blood to write on the wall. He also stated that Chob Boii was not the target of the attack, but he was simply caught up in the wrong place.

Giving details about the incident on Twitter, another friend of the deceased said the killers were allowed into the compound by the security guard because the producer has a mini studio in his living room and it was “routine” for people to come in.

It was gathered that when the police arrived, they found a gruesome scene.

According to the friend, Chop Boi’s hands and legs were tied and his head was bashed, while Blessing was hacked to death, and Beerolings’ head was broken open and his brains were on the floor, according to the friend.

Meanwhile, neighbors heard the victims scream and then heard people singing “Happy Birthday,” so they dismissed the shouts as a rowdy birthday celebration.

Chop Boii’s severed hand was reportedly used to write “Him” on the wall.

Another message on the wall reads, “We told them not to play with her.”

The friend also disclosed that the Commissioner of Police and SCID have taken over the case.

A video showing the moment popular Nigerian singer, Wizkid, told one of his dancers that she would end up with a baby boy if he sleeps with her is currently making rounds online.

Wizkid, a father of three boys from different mothers, made this statement during a live performance with a group of dancers at a concert. However, it’s not clear where and when the concert took place.

During the show, Wizkid stopped the band mid-performance to address the dancer who was dancing passionately to his hit song with indigenous singer, Kcee, “Pull Over”.

Speaking to the dancer, the 32-year-old singer said she’s aware that he doesn’t make too much effort in bed and any woman he sleeps with gives birth to a male child. He added that if he spends a single night with her, she would also deliver a baby boy.

The dancer, reacting to Wizkid’s statement, opened her mouth in shock while the audience also screamed and hailed the singer.

Big Brother Naija season 7 rider housemate, Rachel, has apologized to evicted housemate, Sheggz, weeks after their messy fight over food.

Recall that Sheggz had sworn on his mother’s life that Rachel would beg him before December following the clash.

Background story: Earlier in the month, Sheggz had a serious fight with Rachel because she served his love interest, Bella, beef when everyone knows she doesn’t like beef.

Rachel, who prepared dinner for all the housemates, said Bella was the one who requested for beef instead of chicken. The professional footballer didn’t buy her explanation and called her ‘stupid’ for her action.

This aggravated Rachel and she lambasted him and his entire generation for calling her ‘stupid’. The fight degenerated into a fiery war of words and they began insulting each other.

Bella, who was the subject of contention, took her man’s side and berated Rachel for insulting Sheggz’s generation.

She also angrily returned the plate of food back to Rachel and in the process, it poured on the dining table. However, it’s not clear if she intentionally poured the food away.

Following the verbal altercation, emotions were still high and Sheggz threatened Rachel, saying if she doesn’t beg him before December, then he is not who he says he is. Watch the video here.

“Rachel, I’m telling you, if you don’t beg me this year, my name is not Segun. Go and write it down; laugh about it, I swear on my mother’s life. You’re mad!” he said as he walked away angrily.

Interestingly, only a few weeks after, Rachel has apologized to Sheggz for insulting him.

She made the unreserved apology during a conversation with Sheggz’s love interest, Bella, last night as they revisited the fight.

“I swear sheggz would have blocked me on social media. Please tell him to forgive me, I didn’t really mean to insult him”, she said in part.

Nigerian crossdresser, Idris Okuneye, better known as Bobrisky, has said that nothing can ever make him slip into depression.

The internet celebrity stated this while questioning the reason people fall into depression.

This comes following reports that a popular Nigerian business magnate, Laolu Martins, committed suicide after an alleged long battle with depression.

Martins, an investment banking expert who was also the co-founder and executive director of popular restaurant chain, Bukka Hut, is said to have ended it all in his home in the early hours of Tuesday, September 27.

It was gathered that Martins, despite his career success, had been battling depression for a while now before he ultimately took his own life at around 3 am on Tuesday. TheWill reports.

The deceased was a chartered stockbroker and a chartered accountant with 12 years of experience in investment banking, corporate banking, stockbroking, asset management, and pension fund management.

Until his death, he was the CEO of Nigeria International Security Limited (NISL), an independent financial services firm specializing in investments in Nigeria.

In other news, a Nigerian lady has accused her husband of threatening to kill her following years of abuse and she released proof to back her claims.

The mother of three on her Facebook page, shared a screenshot of the message she claims was sent to her by her estranged husband, one Mr Tony Oluwatoyin Mike Uche.

In the message, Tony allegedly told her that the next time he sees her, they will see who will die first. He also told her that the battle line has been drawn and asked her to prepare both physically and spiritually.

The lady, who is a chef, explained that the recent threat came following years of abuse. According to her, all through the seven years they were married, he abused her a lot of times and she had to “flee” to her parents’ house often to recover from the injuries she sustained.

On one such violent episode, she lost a pregnancy of 8 months. She revealed that the police station has several records of him signing undertakings not to harm her again.

She also added that he also destroyed her business equipment during their marriage. According to her, she is now estranged from him and has instructed her lawyer to begin a divorce process but he recently accosted her when she was returning home and attacked her before pulling out a knife.

She explained that it took a security guard to pull him from her otherwise she fears what the outcome would have been.

Recently evicted Big Brother Naija housemate, Hermes has shared his candid opinion about the relationship between his co-stars, Sheggz and Bella.

Speaking in an interview with Beat FM, Hermes said the first impression he had about Sheggz was that he was a bad boy and a player.

According to him, he expected Sheggz to be a playboy who would flirt and pursue different ladies in the house but was surprised at his commitment to his lover, Bella.

He stated that Sheggz treated Bella well in the house, served her breakfast in bed, pampered and did her biddings with no questions asked. He added that Sheggz only had eyes for Bella and it was beautiful to see!

Former Big Brother Naija level-up housemate, Sheggz has spoken on the constant fights and misunderstandings he had with his lover, Bella.

Recall that the BBNaija couple had several altercations in the house and broke up countless times but always found their way back to each other.

On numerous occasions, Sheggz seemingly insulted Bella, called her unprintable names and compared her to his ex-girlfriends. On the flip side, he showered her with love, care and affection which could be termed as ‘princess treatment’.

Well, the recently evicted housemate is currently doing his media rounds. In his interview with Beat FM, he was asked if he perceived the way he spoke to Bella as emotional abuse.

“Do you think the way you spoke to her(Bella) at times can be deemed as Emotionally Abusive?” the interviewer asked.

Responding, Sheggz said he never directly insulted or disrespected Bella, and it’s sad that people are misconstruing his relationship with her.

According to him, he spoke with Bella the same way he speaks with his male friends and he jokingly insults his friends without meaning it.

The 26-year-old actor further stated that the arguments were not as serious as it was portrayed on national TV, adding that the show didn’t capture the full scope of their relationship because they were not the only housemates being aired.

“My childhood was a mess. My dad and my mom will fight and my dad will leave the house for months. My mum will beg me to call my dad and tell him that I’ve not eaten and that he should come back home because we need him.

“My dad will come back home and my parents will fight again. My mum then took my dad to a church for deliverance. One pastor prophesized that my dad will use me for blood money. After this my parents fought again and I begged my dad to come back home. After begging my dad one fateful day, he bought me suya while returning home.

My mum quickly remembered what the pastor said and concluded that my dad wanted to kill me and that the prophecy is true. 16-year-old girl declared missing after travelling to Abuja to meet Facebook friend who promised her relocation to Germany

A 16-year-old girl, identified as Chidinma Anita Chukwudum, has been declared missing by her family.

The teenager reportedly left her home in Festac Town, Lagos state, for Abuja to meet someone she met on Facebook who promised to send her to Germany.

According to Anita’s mother, Mrs. Uche Chukwudum, her daughter, who finished secondary school last year and is waiting for admission, was last seen on September 18. She said her daughter secretly packed her bag from their family house on Sunday and left for Abuja.

Anita’s mother revealed that her daughter had left a note behind saying she had gone and would work towards making her family proud.

The family got to know that she had gone to Abuja after Anita’s sister was able to gain access to her Facebook account and saw all her chats with the person in Abuja, who promised their daughter greener pastures in Germany.

It was discovered that Anita moved to Abuja, where the person she had been chatting with on Facebook promised to arrange her travel documents for her to leave for Germany.

Anita’s mother confirmed that the incident has been reported to the police.

She said the police have been able to track the area where her daughter is but have been unable to locate the house she is being held.

A Nigerian lady has recounted how her mother allegedly covered up the rape and abuses she suffered from her 32-year-old older blood brother.

The lady who showed her scars in the video she shared, revealed that while her brother assaulted and raped her, her mother felt he was only instilling discipline in her.

The lady also revealed that when reported to her mother about the rape, her mother covered it up and did nothing because she felt it would bring shame to the family.

She went on to add that she needs help.

She wrote in her video,

Amidst the cheating confession and saga that recently took place on Twitter NG, a lot of takes and opinions have been flying around and it is not looking good for women in relationships.

The drama started when a young man with the handle @lamid3_ shared a screenshot of their partner admitting to cheating on them.

Lamide did this to join the trend where netizens ‘dump’ photos or memorable moments recorded in the month of September. It was quite obvious that Lamide’s September wasn’t a good one (emotionally).


His partner admitted to doing everything but s@x with her infidelity partner but this was not any form of consolation and it sparked a lot of reactions from people.

Netizens blamed the lady for cheating and other tried to console the poster that at least she did not have s@x so that ought to bring some sort of relief to him.

Twitter influencer, @ajebodanny saw things from a whole new perspective and decided to expose the menfolk.

Nollywood actress, Chacha Eke-Faani recently took to her Instagram page to talk about her mental health.

In her update, Chacha also hinted at losing a baby 18 years ago. According to her, a lot of people mock her as a “crazy lady” but her mental health crisis is because of all the pains she’s been through.

“Most of us ladies were broken on the inside and that’s how the crazy got in and got stuck” she says in her update.

She then narrates the pains she’s been through, including losing a child.

She’s heard saying,

“That baby died and I’m still so pained. Chidielebe, I’m sorry, we lost her. 18 years gone but I never forget. Many years later, the doctors slash my belly and pulled out four little humans.

“All of a sudden, I’m people’s mummy. How do I do that with mental illness?”

Chacha also disclosed that her mother and grandmother were crazy and she fears her daughters will be.

The actress who has three daughters said,

“I didn’t ask for this life, I was born with this. I got it from my mama. My mama was a crazy woman, she told me her mama too was crazy. She talked crazy and treated people crazy.

“Right now, here I am being a crazy little miss. My daughter will probably grow up and be a crazy little lady. But it won’t even matter because we’re all crazy.”

The actress’ mental health issues were made public in 2020 after she accused her husband of domestic violence and announced she was leaving him. Later, she made a U-turn and claimed she was dealing with bipolar disorder.

Earlier this year however, she made a comeback to social media and revealed she’s leaving her husband. She also hinted at abuse while announcing the end of her marriage.

Since then, she’s been speaking about her mental health struggles and how she sometimes gets destructive.

Nigerian singer, Kizz Daniel has splashed millions in acquiring a new house which overlooks the ocean.

The singer popular referred to as “Vado” took to his social media page to share a video of the new house and thanked his fans for it.

He wrote,

“What a year! Always wanted a house beside the waters for my wife and kids. So, God and the best fans in the world helped me. Thank you.”

According to our source, Vado’s new home costs a whopping $2m which is equivalent to N862,660,000.

A little while back, Vado was arrested by the Tanzanian police over his alleged refusal to perform at his concert on Sunday, August 7, 2022.

One of the show promoters, Samwel Masaki, had taken to Twitter to announce that the singer arrived the country to perform at the old next door Arena.

Jeff Bezos’ ex-wife, McKenzie Scott files for divorce from her second husband

American novelist, philanthropist and former spouse of billionaire, Jeff Bezos, MacKenzie Scott and her husband, Dan Jewett, a former science teacher, are calling their union quits less than two years after they got married.

Scott got married to Seattle-based science teacher, Dan Jewett last year after divorcing Amazon founder and billionaire, Jeff Bezos in 2019.

Scott’s marriage to Jewett, who was once a teacher at her children’s school, has now ended.

Ms. Scott filed a petition for divorce in the King County Superior Court in Washington State on Monday, September 26, 2022, according to a copy of the filing.

In 2021, McKenzie Scott and Dan Jewett announced their marriage through a message on their webpage for the Giving Pledge, a philanthropic organization which encourages the world’s richest people to give away a majority of their wealth to charitable causes.

Scott has given away billions of dollars as part of a plan to donate a majority of her fortune.

“I am married to one of the most generous and kind people I know — and joining her in a commitment to pass on an enormous financial wealth to serve others,” Jewett wrote in his message on Giving Pledge in 2021. “I look forward to the growth and learning I have ahead as a part of this undertaking with MacKenzie.”

But Jewett’s message seemed to have disappeared from the Giving Pledge site and his name was recently edited out of a Medium post Ms. Scott had written last year about their gifts, The Times reported Wednesday, September 28.

Scott also deleted Jewett from her author bio on Amazon, according to the NYT.

Earlier this year, The singer opened up on his battle with depression and how it became worse after he slept with his therapist.

The 25-year-old singer who had just released his debut album ‘Boy Alone’ where he poured out his heart, took to Twitter to share his ordeal.

According to him, he was sad, depressed, insecure and battled suicidal thoughts because his close pals abandoned and lost hope in him at the time he was recording the tracks in the album.

However, when he finished recording, he realized that he had created a masterpiece.

“Athena, you had a big bro/sis” – Korra Obidi reveals she lost a baby before birthing her second child

US-based Nigerian exotic dancer, Korra Obidi has disclosed that she lost a baby before welcoming her second child.

The dancer birthed her second daughter, Athena, earlier in March this year and also has an older daughter named June.

Korra took to her Instagram Stories Wednesday evening to share a photo of her holding a pregnancy test which showed she was pregnant.

In the caption, she wrote, “Athena Dean, you had a big sis/bro.”

A couple of days back, the exotic dancer took a swipe at her ex-husband after their daughter, June, was turned away from school due to a head injury.

From Korra’s narration in a video she shared on social media lamenting the situation, it was gathered that June had visited her father with her sister Athena when she sustained the injury.

Korra accused her estranged husband, Justin Dean, of using their daughter for a bonnet advert, which caused her to sustain a “serious” injury to her head.

Korra, who blamed her husband for neglecting their daughter in her absence, said she had to get a doctor’s report before June was allowed to return to school.

The mother of two said if tables were reversed and June had sustained a head injury in her care, her estranged husband would have made a convincing case that she was careless with the kids

“We were turned away from school because June had a head injury. God knows if it was under my care that this girl had a head injury it will just cement all their naked mother neglecting her children claim. Before you use my children to advertise bonnet make sure you check them first, don’t throw my daughter on the floor because you want to sell bonnet Dr.” She said in part.

American rapper, A$AP Rocky, has reacted to a trending clip of him looking distressed while being surrounded by fans.

Rocky, who recently welcomed a child with Barbadian singer Rihana, performed at Rolling Loud in New York. During his performance, the rapper tried to stage-dive into the crowd of fans, but it apparently didn’t turn out as he had hoped.

In the viral clip, the new dad can be seen panicking and struggling not to fall as ecstatic fans grab his arms and legs within the mosh pit.

A$AP has now reacted to the viral clip that got netizens talking as he explains the reason for his reaction.

According to him, the crowd was “squeezing life” out of his “nutz”, which is why he looked distressed.

His words,

Speaking in a recent interview with a British magazine ‘Dazed’, the 31-year-old singer said a lot of people don’t understand him because he has never given the public a chance to know and understand his personality.
