Big Brother Naija season 7 star, Daniella Peters, has admitted that she owes her former love interest, Khalid, an apology for crossing certain boundaries with other male housemates in the house.
Recall that while Daniella made it to the finals, her lover, Khalid, wasn’t so lucky as he was evicted after he was nominated for possible eviction in the second week. Following Khalid’s eviction, the levels merged and Daniella, who was in a serious relationship with Khalid before he was booted out of the show, got involved with former level 1 housemate, Dotun.
However, during the level-up final party, where all the 28 housemates, including disqualified housemate Beauty, converged at Biggie’s house to party together, Khalid ignored Daniella all night.
Speaking in a post-eviction interview with media personality, Ebuka, she admitted that she crossed boundaries in the house, which she believed would have hurt her former lover, Khaild.
According to her, she was thrown off by things she heard after Khalid left and over-stepped her bounds, but Khalid was not there to defend himself.
She added that she owes Khalid an apology, and she would like to start her relationship with Khalid afresh if the possibility presents itself.
“I feel like I do owe him an apology for passing certain boundaries. I’ll like to see if we can start afresh”, she said in part.
A Nigerian man, Moses Kole, has opined that women who run beer parlours are either divorcees or widows who used their promiscuous lifestyle to send their husbands to an early grave.
The young man made this assertion in a Facebook post on Monday, October 3.
Kole said it’s uncommon to see a woman who manages a beer shop and is still faithful to her spouse, in response to a Facebook user who asked if a woman can run a beer parlor and still remain faithful to her husband.
“All the woman who own beer parlor that I have ever seen are divorcee or widows who have used their reckless irresponsible and promiscuous life style to send their husbands to early grave. It’s so rare finding a woman who run a beer parlor still faithful to her husband.” He said.
This comes after Andrea Ekeng Inyang, the special assistant on strategic communication to Cross River Governor, Ben Ayade, has advised men against marrying women who drink beer in public.
Inyang, who gave this counsel in a Facebook post, said men who marry such women will not find peace in the marriage.
“Don’t marry any woman that sits in public to drink Gulder beer. You won’t find peace in that marriage.” he wrote.
Jonathan Rosenthal, the Africa editor of international newspaper, The Economist, has reacted to a video of the presidential flagbearer of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, working out tremendously.
Tinubu had put out the video to debunk alleged report that he has withdrawn from the presidential race due to his health.
In the video, the APC chieftain was vigorously working out on a spin bike in a bid to dispel the rumors surrounding his health and well-being.
He captioned it;
“Many have said I have died; others claim I have withdrawn from the presidential campaign. Well… Nope. This is the reality: I am strong, I am healthy and I am READY to serve Nigerians from Day One.”
Reacting to the video that has elicited different reactions on the internet, Rosenthal said it is never a good sign when a presidential candidate feels the need to prove he is still alive.
Quoting Tinubu’s tweet, he tweeted,

Sofiia Karkadym, a Ukrainian refugee, has been left heartbroken after a man who left his wife and family to be with her dumped her only four months into their relationship.
22-year-old Karkadym and her UK sponsor, Tony Garnett, 30, made headlines when they began dating in May after the security guard left his wife and mother of his two children, Lorna Garnett, to be with her.
It was gathered that only 10 days after Karkadym moved into Garnett’s home, which he shared with his wife and children in Bradford, West Yorkshire, to live with them due to the war in Ukraine, he fell in love with her and they began dating.
Regrettably, after only four months of dating, Garnett dumped Karkadym.
The Ukrainian refugee who found love in the U.K now has no money and no accommodation emergency and has now packed her bags and is headed to Poland and thereafter to her home in Ukraine even as the Russia-Ukraine war continues.
“I am going back to Ukraine because of the situation with me and Tony here in England. I need some support from my family and because I have not seen them for six months. I need to go for myself and to look after myself,” she told The Sun.
Speaking further, she said,
“I have mixed feelings about my time in England. There were a lot of good things but it became really hard for me and I didn’t expect all of the public reaction which was difficult. But I have been left with a very good impression of people here.
I am so grateful to everyone for the way they have been willing to help me and other people from Ukraine after the war. There has been a lot of kindness. I didn’t think they would be so generous. It has been really nice. I have no idea what the future holds for me now. I will spend time with my family and friends and then I will decide on the next stage of my life.”
Garnett, a security guard, drove Karkadym to the airport, the Sun reported.
Karkadym’s visa, which granted her emergency status for six months, was set to expire within weeks.
It was reported that their relationship ended after Garnett’s 30th birthday when Karkadym allegedly tried to stab a knife into the wall several times, resulting in the police being called.
An Instagram influencer, Karina Irby, has stripped naked to expose her bloated tummy as she tells women that it is normal be bloated sometimes.
The body positivity model who has over 1.2 million followers and shares mostly bikini photos on her page, took to Instagram to advise women who feel bad about their bodies.
Sharing an unfiltered photo of herself, Karina admitted that she felt ‘ugly, useless and exhausted’ because of her bloated tummy and couldn’t look at herself in the mirror.

The aggrieved protesters accused EFCC of arresting young men with no link to internet fraud and falsely accusing them of cybercrime.

The young man in a Twitter thread said he was about 18 years old when the incident happened.
According to him, he went to register for JAMB with a friend, but on that day the network was bad, so they couldn’t complete the registration, only to return the next day to discover that the card had been used.
The victim said he just found out that the same friend was paraded by the EFCC for fraud and his mugshot was shared on the anti-graft agency’s page.
He stated that seeing his friend in that situation makes him feel as if he has finally gotten justice for what happened years ago.
A popular Islamic cleric in Kwara State, Sheikh Abdulganiyu Nuraini, popularly called Alfa Gani Aboto, and two of his aides, have died after the vehicle they were travelling in was washed away in flood waters in the state.
It was gathered that Alfa Gani Aboto, his aides, Alfa Azeez Omoekun and Alfa Nurudeen, were coming from da’awah activity in Minna, Niger State, when the flood swept away his Toyota Yaris car while trying to cross a bridge near Harmony Estate/Kukende at the Akerebiata area of Ilorin.
The bodies of the victims were recovered by the state fire service from a river opposite Olusola Saraki Abattoir along Sobi Army Barracks road, Ilorin inside the car on Saturday, October 1, 2022.
The late sheik was a student of late Sheikh Kamaldeen Al-Adabiy, the first Mufti of Ilorin and founder of Ansarul Islam Society of Nigeria. He was also a hafeedh and leading trainer of Quran memorisers in the state.
His corpse was transported to his hometown in Aboto, Asa LGA of the state on Sunday after a janazah in Ilorin.
The Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq; Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari and former Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki, have mourned the popular Islamic cleric and his aides who died in the flood.
The state governor in a statement by Rafiu Ajakaye, his Chief Press Secretary, described the sheiks passing as a huge loss for the Muslim community and to Ilorin as a whole.
“We received with shock and sadness the deaths of the popular Islamic cleric Sheikh Aboto and a few others whose identities are not yet known. As faithful, we accept the judgment of our creator. We beseech Him to grant the scholar and others involved al-Jannah Firdaus.
“This, indeed, is one sad news too many. The death of Sheikh Abdulganiy Aboto is a huge loss for the Muslim community and to Ilorin as a whole. He was known for his vast knowledge and great efforts in the propagation of Islamic messages in the simplest form possible for his audience.
“We send our heartfelt condolences to the Emir of Ilorin, Dr Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, the families of the late Sheikh and the others, and the entire Adabiyyah family worldwide. It is our prayer that Allah will grant comfort to all the bereaved families”. The statement read.
The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Council of Chiefs, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari in his condolence message, described Shiekh Aboto’s demise as unfortunate and regrettable, stressing that his death has left another vacuum in the dawah activities in the Ilorin Emirate and beyond.

Some Nigerian parents have taken to Twitter to bewail a recent practice perpetrated by the management of primary and secondary schools.
The outcry was spearheaded by a Twitter user @loseweightwithB who complained that schools don’t allow students to reuse books used by their older siblings.
She said this was not the case before as students could use textbooks used by their elder siblings which helped parents save money. However, things have changed and schools now use books as a source of income and every session, parents are expected to buy new textbooks and notebooks for their wards in addition to paying school fees.

A young woman has taken to Twitter to recount her experience with her husband after he lost his job one month into their marriage.
The Twitter user, identified as @adaratheexploer, in a series of tweets, said when her husband was fired at his place of employment, he was scared that she would dump him because he could no longer provide for their family but she stood by him and became the breadwinner without complaining.
She said after her husband got back on his feet and was financially stable, he fulfilled all the promises he made to her because she was loyal to him.

Sensational Nigerian singer, Bukola Elemide better known as Asa, has slammed her colleague, Joeboy, with a copyright infringement notice over his newly released song, ‘Contour’.
The 40-year-old singer, in a letter addressed to Joeboy through her legal representative, claimed he used a musical composition that she created with producer, Tempoe, during a recording session in 2020.
She went on to demand for the sum of N300 million for the infringement and an additional 60% (sixty percent) publishing split on the song.
She also ordered him to remove the song from all music streaming platforms within 24 hours, and tender a written apology to her.
The letter reads in part,
“We hereby demand that you immediately remove the Song from all DSPs and any other platforms within twenty-four (24) hours of your receipt of this letter, with a written apology issued to our Client as well as halt any additional infringements of our Composition, including any other infringements.
We also demand that the sum of N300,000,000 (Three Hundred Million Naira) as well as a 60% (sixty percent) publishing split on the Song be assigned to our Client.”
Reacting to the notice, Joeboy in a post shared on his Instastory, called Asa’s bluff and dared her to do her worst. He added that people tend to take advantage of him because of his calm personality, but he’s not an easy nut to crack.
He further dared Asa’s legal representative to take legal actions against him because the 24hours notice has elapsed.
“Cos i dey always do love and light you think sey i be soft meat. You said i have 24 hours, it’s been 48hours, do something,” he wrote.
Controversial Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie’s second wife, Judy Austin, has praised him for the impact he’s had on her career.

A young man has died moments after he proposed marriage to his girlfriend.
According to the man’s cousin, identified as Tana Tee, who shared the tragic news on Facebook, the young man proposed on Monday afternoon, and died around 11 p.m. the same night.
Although she didn’t give much detail about his sudden passing, she revealed the tragic incident happened on Monday, October 2.
“What’s all this sad news sef. So HEARTBROKEN right now. My cousin got engaged yesterday afternoon by 2pm.And the guy died by 11pm same day”. She wrote on Facebook.

In other news, a man has taken to Facebook to mourn the death of his sister, Pauline Ogbeche, killed in a fatal accident in the Ajah area of Lagos.
The young man, identified as Michael Ogbeche, said the accident took place in the wee hours of Tuesday when some yet-to-be identified men were engaged in car racing.
He said one of the drivers, who was on high speed, rammed his car into the coaster bus conveying his sister and other crew members to their hotel, causing the bus to summersault.
According to Michael, his sister who was fast asleep was thrown out of the bus through a window, landed on the road and died on the spot.
Taking to social media to mourn her sad demise, Michael wrote,
“On a sad note we lost Pauline (my sister) in the early hours of Tuesday. Some evil guys doing a race on the side of the road to Ajah, one of their cars flew to the the lane where the coaster bus was and hit it bad causing the bus carrying crew and actors to their hotel to somersaulted in the process.
“Pauline was sleeping. She was thrown out of the bus through the glass window and only God knows how and where she landed. 5 female sisters.. now left with 2. God will keep them for me. Posting can’t solve anything. Only prayer and mourn with us.
“And by the special grace of God we the family of Late Miss Paulina Ogbeche will follow her corps down to her father’s house Benue state as early as possible on Friday after wake keeping on Thursday evening for final interment.”

Big Brother Naija’s first female winner, Mercy Eke, has congratulated the winner of the just concluded level-up season of the reality show, Phyna.
Mercy, who won the Big Brother Naija ‘Pepper Dem’ season, took to her social media page to welcome Phyna to the club of female winners.
You would recall that Phyna became the second female to win the reality show after Mercy Eke, after she beat 28 other housemates to clinch the grand prize of N100million.
Taking to her insta stories, Mercy congratulated Phyna on her victory and officially welcomed her to the club of female winners.
“Congratulation Unusualphyna, welcome to the club,” Mercy wrote.

The 25-year-old hype priestess, Phyna, became the second female winner of the Big Brother Naija show after she had the highest vote of the six finalists and was crowned the season 7 winner on Sunday night, October 2nd.

The singer recently took to his Instastory to share a loved-up video of himself and Chioma, not too long after revealing that they went to church together.

A young lady has advised her fellow woman on the dangers of being in a relationship where both parties are broke, a situation she refers to as “Double Poverty”.
The lady took to her social media page to share a video of herself warning women who are broke not to date a guy who is also broke. She insinuates that nothing good can come out of such arrangement.

A groom landed himself in the hospital on his wedding night following his attempt to serenade his new bride — an action which unfortunately caused him to dislocate his elbow.
A video which was shared online by wedding videographer, Tom Healy shows the Australian man identified as Adam Quinn telling his new wife, Helen he loves her “very much,” before deciding to show her through some wild dancing.
The clip then shows Adam running in a circle amongst his friends before he dramatically falls on his shoulder. The video then cuts to him being carried on a stretcher as he was taken to the hospital by paramedics.
Bride, Helen shared a photo of her in hospital with her groom and wrote: “In sickness and in health #weddingday.”
Helen said that she and her new husband dealt with the “in sickness” part of their wedding vows only hours after exchanging them, as a result of some spilled beer.
“He came out to me and he was as white as a ghost,” she told Australian news site 7News.
“He told me that he thought he had broken his arm. It turned out he had dislocated his elbow,” she explained, saying they snuck out of the reception to get help.
“It’s pretty embarrassing and I get a little triggered looking at the photos and watching the video,” she admitted.
According to the groom, his unfortunate accident was a result of trying to be romantic.
“I was singing a classic love song, I thought it was really romantic,” he explained in the clip as he lay in a hospital bed with his shoulder strapped.

Before she shared the screenshot, a Twitter troll insinuated on Saturday, October 1, that the Migos rapper is cheating on Cardi B.
The Twitter user had re-posted a meme of SpongeBob SquarePants looking at a phone with the caption, “Man eat that d**k.”
The user quoted the meme with “This is how @OffsetYRN be w/random women when @iamcardib be away from home.”
Cardi B then responded by sharing a screenshot of her sexting with Offset and the caption, “Actually this how he be… Thank you.”

The Chief Medical Director at Kaiama General Hospital, Kwara State, Dr Adio Adeyemi Adebowale, who allegedly killed four people in the space of one year, had posted pictures of himself and his family two months before his arrest.
It was earlier reported that Adeyemi, an indigene of Offa, Kwara State, was arrested by the Edo State Police Command after he killed a cab driver in Benin City, Edo state, dumped his corpse in the bush, and absconded with his vehicle.
Adeyemi, who has been dubbed a ‘serial killer’, also confessed that he kidnapped and murdered his girlfriend, Ifeoluwa, who was declared missing in Tanke area of Kwara state in 2021.
An investigation was launched into the gruesome murders and in the process, the decomposing remains of two women were found in his office.
One of the women was found inside a shallow grave dug in his office while the corpse of the second woman was found in a garbage bin. While the former is yet to be identified, the latter was identified as a housewife, Nafisat, who was declared missing by her husband.
Before the suspect’s gory activities were brought to light, he was leading a normal life and even shared pictures of himself with his wife and son on Facebook.
In one of the pictures he shared in July, the suspect donned a brown Kaftan and was complimented by his unsuspecting followers.
Andrea Ekeng Inyang, the Special Assistant on Strategic Communication to Akwa Ibom state Governor, Ben Ayade, has advised men against marrying women who drink beer in public.
Taking to his Facebook page to give this advice, Inyang asserted that any man who marries a woman who drinks alcohol publicly can never have a peaceful marriage.
According to him, such women are troublesome and will only bring problems to a man’s life.
“Don’t marry any woman that sits in public to drink Gulder beer. You won’t find peace in that marriage.” he wrote.
Inyang made this assertion while advising single ladies not to scare off real suitors while claiming to be in a relationship with a man who has no intention of settling down with them.
According to him, a lady remains officially single until she’s married.

“Until you are married, you remain officially single. A serious man will not date you more than 1 year. If you like hear, if you don’t continue telling people you have a serious relationship.”
A young nursing mother with no hands has earned online admiration after using her mouth to feed her baby.
The young mother, who is physically challenged with her hands amputated, used her mouth to spoon-feed her little boy.
In a viral video, the mother is seen holding the spoon between her lips as she scoops some food onto it, dips it in her baby’s meal, and then places it in his mouth.
Reacting to the touching clip, Nigerians on social media praised the mother for going above and beyond to care for her kid in spite of her condition.
A TikTok user @Anna Sterling wrote, “What a beautiful blessing, mother. That’s why I hate to see men mistreat a queen because cause they are beautiful and awesome powerful.”

In other news, a UK-based Nigerian man has shared a photo of him backing his child while his wife is at work, something he said he never saw himself doing back home.
Since moving to the United Kingdom with his family, the Benin-born man said he has had to humble himself and take on the responsibility of nursing their baby while his wife is at work.
Taking to Twitter, he discussed how very different the roles of a father and mother were in his home country, Nigeria, and not necessarily so in the United Kingdom.
Sharing the photo of himself backing their daughter, the father noted that he never thought a day would come when he would be the one babysitting their child while his wife worked.
“If anyone had told me I will back a baby I will say is a lie… Well Bini man carry baby for back while madam went to work… UK will loyal you…”. He wrote on Twitter.
A video showing the moment a young Nigerian man met his sudden death while playing football with his friends in China has been shared online.
The tragic incident reportedly took place during a friendly match in Quanzhou Fujian province, China, on Wednesday, September 28.
In the trending clip, the deceased, whose name was given as Kosi a.k.a Kizzy, was running on the pitch when he suddenly slumped and fell to the ground.
When he failed to stand up, his friends thought he was pulling a prank on them and started making jokes. One was heard saying “don’t mind this man” while another said “no dey joke na”.
Another man, who urged Kosi to stand up, jokingly asked if they should offer him a liquor, Hennesy, as life continued to slip away from his body.
Sadly, the young man said to be a student was pronounced dead on arrival after he was taken to a hospital.

Akpan was reportedly at the Nigerian Army screening exercise in Ibawa, Akwa Ibom State when he slumped and died on Monday, December 7th.
