A UK-based Nigerian man has taken extreme measures to protest the denial of his permanent residency in the United Kingdom.

It was reported that the Nigerian man who has been living in the UK for a while now applied for permanent residency but was denied.

In a video that’s currently making the rounds on social media, the man is seen lying under a bus to protest their decision at the home office.

The footage showed him shouting and bemoaning his plight to onlookers who attempted to rescue him by yanking him out from beneath the double-decker.

He, however, declined their assistance, lamenting the fact that he had met all the conditions for the status but was turned down.

In other news, a Nigerian Twitter user has shared the current reality of living in United Kingdom.

Jamal, popularly known as JajaPhD on Twitter revealed that those planning to leave Nigeria for UK this 4th quarter are “diving straight into a cost of living crisis.”

He also revealed that those who are living in the UK and are somewhat settled are struggling a lot.

He wrote:

“Those who are planning to japa from Nigeria to UK this 4th quarter are literally diving straight into a cost of living crisis. Those who have lived here and are somewhat settled are struggling a lot. May God provide for us all.

“My current salary pcm is around £1550 after deductions. My total monthly expenses are around £1300 excluding savings. I hope this helps.”

A young woman has recounted a horrific encounter with a monkey that snatched and left her phone completely destroyed in a zoo in Burundi.

The tourist, who had visited the zoo in company of her friends, enthusiastically walked up to the primate in its cage and drew near enough to have a better look at it.

Then, believing it to be food, the monkey took her phone and tried to devour it. In the now viral video, the woman just gazed hopelessly, as if she were still trying to understand what had happened.

The monkey later tossed out the iPhone X device, but it was already damaged beyond recognition.

In related news, a woman was startled when an orangutan kissed and caressed her during a recent visit to a zoo.

Last week, while the woman was at Safari World in Bangkok, the cheeky animal fondled her breasts and even gave her a peck on the cheek as she tried to pose for a picture.

The primate was captured in a video that found its way to the internet groping her breasts and kissing her on the cheek as she tried to pose for a picture.

She was about to take a beautiful tourist photo while she was seated on a swing at the zoo when the cheeky monkey approached her from behind, pawing at her, touching her breasts, and making multiple attempts to peck her on the cheek.

The orangutan beams broadly as people photograph and record the encounter. Despite being startled, the woman laughs as the orangutan plays.

A toddler, Ewhalshoh Mandela Mairabo, who alongside her mother and 29 others, was among the kidnapped victims of the Kaduna-Train attack, three months ago has died five days after regaining freedom.

The victims were kidnapped by bandits in May 2022 at Dogon-noma in Maro Ward, Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna state.

They were released on Tuesday, August 30, 2022, after payment of N5m ransom and two motorcycles. One of the victims was killed in captivity.

A member of the community identified as Istifanus Egoh Destiny, revealed that the toddler died on Sunday, September 4, 2022.

She was kidnapped along side with her mother which they later regained their freedom on the 30/08/2022

All are encouraged to kindly pray for the mother as she is still in the hospital receiving treatment since their released.

“Eternal rest grant her O Lord, and let perpetual light shine on her May her gentle soul and the souls of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God continue to rest in peace.”

A woman from Ghana identified as Hannah Owusu has revealed that she has been bald for three years after her husband’s sidechick pulled her cornrow during a fight.

Mrs. Owusu narrated her ordeal in a radio interview where she revealed that her alleged rival, identified as Ruth Amankwa, attacked her and disgraced her before church leaders.

“My husband (Kwame Peter) and I have been married for 12 years with three kids. He’s been having sexual affair with Ruth Amankwah. I went to report her to our church leaders (Bohyen Methodist).

“We were called but Ruth denied dating my husband, claiming my husband couldn’t even buy her panties not to even talk of taking care of her. The church elders summoned us to resolve the issue, so Ruth was asked to abstain from my husband.

“One day, I took my children to school. When I was returning home, Ruth confronted me and claimed I had disgraced her before the church authorities. So she held my corn row hair and pulled it.

“For the past three years, my hair has been unable to grow again as a result of Ruth’s attack on me.”
