A media personality, Shugah Annang took to Twitter to reveal how she became an evil person to a friend of hers after she advised against the friend against paternity fraud.

A Nigerian woman, Oluwafunmilayo Fatai, has narrated how she left her life in the city to live in a slum with her husband.
Oluwafumilayo, who made it clear that she made the choice out of love, claimed that her family was first taken aback and perplexed by her choice to leave a comfortable home and a job for a man.
The mother of three said that, despite the jeers she received, she has no regrets about her decision to settle down with her partner.

A while ago, Onyeka Onwenu opened up on her failed marriage and how she single-handedly raised her children.
The 70-year-old entertainer who got married to a Yoruba Muslim man in 1984, shared her experience during an interview with media personality, Kikelomo Atanda-Owo.
According to the mum-of-two, she didn’t want to divorce her husband but if she didn’t end their marriage at the time she did, it would have killed her.

“I went through it, it was difficult because I really didn’t want my marriage to end but I couldn’t take it anymore, it would have killed me. I always say that that is the truth and it was not good for the children to live in that kind of environment where the mother is depressed, the mother is carrying the weight of the whole family.
“I raised my children from kindergarten to master’s degree. It would be recalled that the Zazu Zeh star sparked uproar on Monday, August 22, when he took to social media to announce his new title as the Amuludun of Tigbo, Aworiland.
Netizens queried the monarch’s decision to bestow a chieftaincy on Portable, owing to the fact that he has been in the news multiple times for the wrong reasons.
Speaking in a chat with Premiumtimes, the Ogun monarch maintained that people’s accounts of Portable’s personality differed from what he saw when he met the singer.
The Monarch, who noted that Portable is a native of Tigbo town, described him as very respectful and well-behaved.
“I visited a school in my domain where I have gotten a report of misbehaviour among the pupils and students of the school. So, I went to the school to talk briefly with them. A 23-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly stoning his 17-year-old girlfriend, Promise Tjatji, to death in Limpopo, South Africa.
The police spokesperson, Lt-Col Mamphaswa Seabi, who confirmed the incident in a statement on Tuesday, August 23, 2022, said the teenager was attacked by her lover on Saturday evening after he suspected her of cheating on him.
“A 23-year-old man will today (Tuesday) appear in the Nebo magistrate court after he was arrested for allegedly killing a 17-year-old girl believed to be his girlfriend on Saturday night, 20 August 2022 at about 19:00,” said Seabi.
“The information received by the Police suggests that the suspect was walking with the victim at Kome village under Nebo policing area when she allegedly received a call. The suspect then accused her of cheating on him and he then stoned her to death.
“The police were called and on arrival at the scene, the victim was found lying with fatal injuries. She was identified as Promise Tjatji. The Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit took over the case for further investigations. The suspect will face a charge of murder.” He said.
Mpshe Tsatsi, the deceased’s uncle, stated in an interview with Times LIVE that Promise had already made plans for the future and intended to become a doctor after graduating from high school.
Mpshe, who is distraught and still struggling to comprehend his niece’s death, said the teenager had been staying with his elderly mother.
“It is tough — it is very tough, I must say. She was a very nice girl and I heard at school that she was very good with mathematics and physics.” He said.
When Mphe arrived home on Saturday, he found uncooked boerewors on the kitchen table. His mother said the meat was taken out of the fridge by her granddaughter to cook.
“She was about to cook before she left [to go out with the boyfriend].” He said.
According to him, the teenager was in grade 12 and they were planning to help her study at university.
Speaking further, he stated that he was disappointed the family of the alleged perpetrator had not approached them.
“We expected his family to come and say something to us in the form of apology or something, but so far no-one has come. Even yesterday we were discussing it and I said that if they don’t want to come, we can’t force them. An apology must come from your heart.” He said.

The Rivers state police command has refuted claims that a University of Port Harcourt student, Jennifer Spiff, has been abducted.
A video of Jennifer claiming she had been abducted and her abductors were asking for money her parents could not afford made the rounds online on Monday, August 22.
Viral reports alleged that the young lady was abducted in Port Harcourt and that her abductors were demanding a N5 million ransom and had threatened to kill her today, Tuesday, August 23, if the ransom wasn’t paid.
However, reacting to the video via its Twitter handle on Tuesday afternoon, the police command claimed the video was staged, possibly with the intention of fleecing unsuspecting members of the public.
The tweet read,
“With regards to a video that trended briefly yesterday, where one Jennifer Spiff, a UNIPORT Student, was allegedly kidnapped, the Police wishes to state that the entire charade was staged by the “victim”, possibly to fleece unsuspecting members of the public. In related news, a young Nigerian lady, Safiyanu Amira, who raised a false kidnap alarm on Twitter a few days ago, has confessed that nothing of the sort happened and apologized to Nigerians.
Amira had, in a series of tweets, alleged that she and 17 other victims were abducted at gunpoint from different parts of Abuja last Tuesday by men in uniform and driven off in a van and later separated into two groups.
She had also tweeted the locations of the alleged kidnappers, claiming they were unaware that she was with a phone.
A barrage of concerned Nigerians quickly reposted the distress tweet, pleading with the Nigerian police force to intervene.
However, the Federal Capital Territory Police Command later disclosed that it had found the missing Safiyanu Amira and debunked the alleged kidnapping.

A Cameroonian woman, Raïssa Kengne, has been arrested for allegedly killing two persons and injuring another in Atlanta Midtown on Monday afternoon, August 22.
She is said to have specifically targeted her victims because both men were linked to a lawsuit she filed against her former employer earlier this year.
The deceased – Westley Freeman, 41, and Michael Shinners, 60, were named in the lawsuit as defendants and she accused them of conspiring against her with her former employer.
In a 407-page complaint, Raïssa accused them of harassment, intimidation, threats, burglary, computer hacking, phone spoofing, and other attacks.
She also took to LinkedIn to reveal that she started her own company because of the mistreatment she suffered in her former job.
Well, Raïssa decided to take laws into her own hands on Monday afternoon and stormed the residence of her two victims in different locations at Atlanta Midtown, and opened fire at them.
In the first location at 1280 W. Peachtree Street, she killed one person and fatally wounded another, while in the second location at 1100 Peachtree Street, she killed another victim.
Concerned residents placed a call to the police and they discovered that the shooting was carried out by the same person.
“The lookout for both of the shooters, we found out quickly, was the same person. It was a female that was matching the same description that was seen in this area,” said Interim Atlanta Police Chief Darin Schierbaum.
A state wide search began immediately to track down the suspect and she was arrested two hours later at the airport.

Instagram slay queen, Teju Pretty, has reacted after she was beaten and disgraced for allegedly refusing to pay back a N150k debt since 2020.
It was earlier reported that the controversial Instagram big girl was attacked by a hair vendor, Rhiks, for allegedly owing her N150k and refusing to pay back.
Rhiks, who narrated the genesis of the incident via Snapchat, said in 2020 she mistakenly transferred N800k to Teju, who was an influencer for her business at the time.
She said she contacted Teju to refund the money because it was meant for her lawyer, but she kept giving her excuses and managed to pay back N650k.
Till date, Teju allegedly refused to refund the balance of N150k even after she asked for it repeatedly, and became rude to her and berated her for ‘disturbing her peace’ because of the N150k.

Quite surprisingly, the young man who was watching TV at the time of her prank, heard her fall and looked back to see her on the ground but took no further action and instead, continued with what he was doing.

Reality TV star and businesswoman, Nina Ivy has reprimanded her two-year-old son, Denzel, for bullying his classmate on his first day at school.
The Atlanta-based mother of one received a minor incident report from her son’s school on Monday, August 22, and it was reported that he pulled his classmate’s hair so hard that she fell to the ground.
Following his offence, his teacher had a heart-to-heart conversation with him and told him to stop using brutal force on his friends at school.

Popular crossdresser, Bobrisky has called out a fashion stylist for allegedly absconding with N2 million he paid for his birthday shoot styling.
Bobrisky disclosed that the stylist contacted him on Snapchat and pitched himself to her, to which she agreed to work with him for her forthcoming birthday shoot.
They agreed on 8 different dresses for the photoshoot and she initially sent him N1.5 million, and sent another N500k to his fashion designer.
However, the stylist failed to deliver any dress for the shoot and still kept requesting for his N1 million balance.
Taking to Snapchat to call out the stylist, Bobrisky disclosed that he has reported the case to the police and threatened to drain the stylist’s income and make him homeless.
