The deceased actress who slumped and died on Sunday, July 17, in Delta state, played the role of ‘Emu’ on the popular TV sitcom and was a mom to four children, including Susan.
Susan who was distraught by the news of Ada’s death, took to her Instagram page to disclose that she was a motherly figure to her in reality and not only in the movie.
Ada Ameh would check on her occasionally, shower prayers on her and reprimand her whenever she errs.
She added that the late actress was very present in her life and never missed any milestone in her life since she was in primary school.
The grieving actress wrote,
“She never missed any of the milestones no matter how small they where. When I graduated from primary school, she brought drinks on set. When I graduated from secondary school, she insisted on getting me my prom shoes even when prom didn’t hold”.

Nigerian socialite and show promoter, Sam Larry has dissociated himself from Portable after he was linked him to the singer’s claims of founding two notorious cult groups in Lagos state.
The Zazu Zeh star had in a video he shared online claimed that he’s the originator of the two notorious groups in Lagos, One million boys, and Ajah boys.

A Nigerian lady has narrated how her cleaner told her she can’t come to work because she was under the influence of a drug or alcohol.
The lady, identified as Grace Chibueze-Okere, took to Facebook to reveal that her cleaner didn’t show up to work so she called her phone repeatedly to ask for the reason behind her absence but she didn’t pick up.
Much later, the cleaner sent her a text message saying she was still hungover from the drug or alcohol she took the previous night and needs time to fully recover.
Grace who seemed dazed by the cleaner’s response, pointed out that the cleaner gets paid for her job and questioned if she’s supposed to make provisions for when she’s high.

A Nigerian lady has narrated how she and other passengers were attacked by bandits while travelling in Okene, Kogi state.
In a video she filmed after the attack, the young lady said they were attacked at gunpoint by some unknown assailants who abducted the driver of the commercial vehicle and three other passengers.
The lady who looked petrified said they were now stuck in Okene and one of the passengers had to take the wheels. However, she didn’t disclose the date of the attack or their destination.

“We just got attacked by bandits at gunpoint. I dey hear news, I dey see news. Today I saw it life. This is why people do not go by road. They took our driver…It is another passenger that is driving. The president made this assertion on Thursday, July 14, at the graduation ceremony of the senior course 44 of the armed forces command and staff college, Jaji, Kaduna.
A Ugandan man, simply identified as Ssalongo, has abandoned his wife and children after they welcomed a set of twins for the fifth time in a row.
His wife, Nalongo Gloria, speaking in an interview with NTV Mwasuze Mutya said her husband dumped her because he felt the series of twin births are not ‘normal’.
According to her, when they discovered she was expecting twins, he started complaining and told her to return to her parent’s house.
Her words,
“When I got pregnant with twins, the man said this is too much for him and told me to go home.
“Where he was sending me, I didn’t have their numbers anymore because I came to Kampala to work as a house girl.”
She said she had nowhere to go to and remained in their matrimonial home which caused him to move out of the house, abandoning her and their children.
She further revealed that some of her older children have left home to an unknown destination and she doesn’t know their whereabouts.
To make matters worse, her landlord has given her an eviction notice because he said he does not want “her or her luggage”.
Speaking on her current state of mind following the series of unfortunate events, Gloria said,
“I don’t regret giving birth to all these children. I know their father doesn’t like them, and I can’t drop them at his place. Despite the challenges, I will never abandon my kids. I know God will provide.
“I handed my things to the Lord. I have suffered but God knows best.”

A close source who confirmed Precious’s death said the incident happened on Sunday, July 17, at her residence in Agenebode, Edo State.
She had been stabbed multiple times in various parts of her body when her family found her after they got home from church on Sunday.

Nigerian singer, Efe Ejeba, who emerged winner of Big Brother Naija season 2 in 2017, has for the first time reacted to rumours that he squandered his winnings.
The Delta State-born rapper won the second season of the continent’s biggest reality show and walked away with a N25 million grand prize. However, shortly after rumors circulated that Efe had squandered the prize money.
In an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, Efe dispelled the reports as false.
According to him, contrary to viral reports, he did not squander the money, but invested it.
He noted that, contrary to speculations, he invested the entire N25 million (twenty-five million naira), although he did not give further details.
“I invested the whole money I did not even buy one shirt with that money”, he said in part.

The iconic actress passed away on Sunday, July 17, in Delta state after a long battle with depression at age 48.
Reacting to the circumstances surrounding her sudden death, actress Uche urged people to start showing love to people and not wait until they are battling with a life threatening illness.
According to her, people should extend love and support to their loved ones even when they seem fine and everything is working out for them.

To set the record straight, Portable claimed in a video he posted online that he never intended to campaign for the APC. According to him, he was invited to perform at a show and subsequently found himself in the APC office.
Speaking further, he accused the party of taking advantage of him and failing to pay his balance.
He also dissociated himself from the two deadly cult groups he had earlier claimed to have founded.
“This has come to an end that I have to voice out… please everyone I wana let you know that I didn’t meant to campaign for APC it was a show they told that am going to before I saw myself in APC office and as a man no need to worry I gats to do the job since it involved money . Well, the thespian has now shared a follow-up post where she made a U-turn on her previous statement.
She said dating is not a time for sexual intercourse, but a time to get to know your intended partner.

“Dating/courting period is a time for interview to know each other better: With respect to getting basic information such as visions, values, beliefs, family, etc.
So that if you find them unworthy and unqualified you cut them off easily. It’s not a time for sexual intercourse. 2 Timothy 2:22.
