A Nigerian lady has taken to Twitter to complain bitterly after she was served a paltry plate of food for N3,800 at a restaurant in Lagos.
The Broadcast journalist, identified as Fina Napoleon, shared a photo of the plate of fried rice and beef with a bottle of water she bought in the Island area of Lagos state and stated that she’s fed up of that life.
She posted the picture and wrote, “3,800 I am tired of this island life”.
Her post has sparked massive reactions from people in different parts of Nigeria as they share photos showing the quantity of food they buy in their region and the price.

In other news, a video showing the cars owned by students of a tertiary institution in Nigeria and those owned by lecturers of the same institution has gotten people talking online.

A Nigerian lady, identified as Salami Eniola, has said a big YES to the marriage proposal of a man she met inside a Molue Bus in Lagos traffic.
Eniola took to Twitter to announce her engagement on Tuesday, June 1, and narrated how the proposal went down.
According to her, they drove all the way from Osogbo to Ibadan where she’s currently doing her NYSC program not knowing that he was planning to propose to her in Ibadan.
Sharing photos from the proposal, she wrote,
“It was a long drive from osogbo to Ibadan, he said he wants to get something from his friend and since that’s where I’m serving I got no clue and sat in the car.He went in nd said we’ll have to wait a bit, poor me no nails just slippers and nice gown
and I said YES”
Reacting, a lady who is also trusting God for a husband, inquired how and where she met her husband-to-be so she can try it as well.

In response, Eniola disclosed that she met her fiancé inside a molue bus and they got talking after he offered her a bite of his gala.

A Nigerian lady has taken to Twitter to narrate the unusual manner in which her ex-boyfriend gave her hints so she could call off their relationship.
According to the Twitter user @TheNnma, her now-ex-lover had to end the relationship himself after more than a year of dating because she didn’t get the hints.
She said he then opened up that he had been giving her hints and deliberately acting up since three months into the relationship, but she was oblivious to the signs.
“Someone I thought I was with for a year and seven months said he’d been giving me hints to leave since 3months into the whole thing. So instead of calling it off, he was just being emotionally distant and saying he didn’t have money. Lmao.

The 26-year-old woman who got married to her husband, Reuben, in October 2021, shared her inspiring story while welcoming her followers into the month of June.
According to Kademaunga, although she was born a ‘taboo’, she’s the first in her family of seven to go to a university, hold a white wedding, and travel on an airplane.

Popular media personality, Toke Makinwa has asserted that Nigerian men define a strong woman by the amount of abuse and maltreatment she can endure.

In a recent tell-all interview, Ghanaian-American comedian, Michael Blackson, opened up about his sexual adventures with his fiancée, Rada Darling.
Michael, who’s the latest guest on “It’s Tricky with Raquel Harper,” described his woman as a freak and disclosed that early in their relationship she enjoyed watching him make love with other women.
“My girl is a freak, Rada is freak, the thing about it, earlier in the relationship she enjoyed watch me sleep with women”. He said in part.
This comes after Rada disclosed why she allows the comedian have one side chic a month.
It can be recalled that in June 2021, Michael proposed to Rada during an appearance on “The Breakfast Club” and revealed that even though he’s getting married to her, she has given him permission to have one sidepiece a month.
Rada, speaking on this controversial arrangement in a recent interview, explained why she decided to let him have sexual rendezvous with any woman of his choice every month.
According to her, she has been in several relationships and sex becomes boring after a while, and she permitted him to have side chics to bring new “excitement” to their relationship.
The interviewer then posed the same question at Michael, asking if he would allow Rada have a side dude, but he immediately shut down the idea.
He stated that she is allowed to have sexual relations with any woman of her choice, but she’s not allowed to sleep with another man because he doesn’t want to have another “penis” in their relationship or soon-to-be marriage.

According to Oye, filming the video is the worst mistake of her life and she has had to restrict her movement for fear of being recognized by people.

Woman reportedly dies from internal bleeding in the skull after severe beating from her husband
A woman said to be a victim of domestic abuse has died after she was allegedly battered by her husband.
According to the Twitter user @biraphil, who relayed the story on the micro-blogging platform, the woman was rushed to the hospital after she was severely beaten by her husband, but unfortunately she didn’t survive.
He said he was in the hospital to see his mum when he ran into the husband wailing after he was informed of his wife’s passing.
He claimed he got to know of the cause of the woman’s death after the man’s sister stated that he refused to listen when he was repeatedly warned to stop beating his wife.
He said doctors disclosed that the woman died of internal bleeding in the skull.
“So I’m at the hospital right now and this lady just died. She died due to series of beatings by her husband. Guess what? He’s lying on the ground weeping profusely. His sister is here with him and she’s saying in Yoruba language
“Nigbati won n so fun yin wipe ki e ye lu, se E gbo?” Translated loosely to mean, when they told you to stop beating her, did you hear? Shocking part is, the husband appears to be in his mid sixties. Haa!

Nigerian activist, Comrade Israel Joe has advised married women who engage in extra-marital affairs to apply their sense and decency.
He gave this advise via his Facebook page on Monday, May 30, while disclosing that a married woman was blackmailed by her lover whom she sent her nude photos to.
According to Joe, married women should ensure their face or any unique body marks does not show when sending their nudes to their lovers so they won’t be recognized by their loved ones if someone tries to blackmail them or leaks the photos.

“Dear Married Women.
It is no longer news that many of you have boyfriends for different reasons best known to you. While we struggle to live with such anomalies as the present reality, of either defiance from your husbands, natural or artificial cause of this having boyfriend challenge, I have a little advise for you.

Couple with five kids ‘disappointed’ as wife on contraceptives gives birth to quadruplets
An Abuja-based couple have narrated how family planning contraception failed them.
The couple, Mr. and Mrs. Christopher Agbo, who live at Sabon-Tasha, Gwagwa, an Abuja suburb, used contraceptives to avoid having more children in addition to their five kids, but recently welcomed quadruplets.
The couple welcomed the quadruplets last Thursday, May 26, at a private clinic in Kubwa, Abuja.
Mr. Agbo stated that after having five children, he and his wife, Mercy, chose not to have any more. So his wife started family planning and was placed on contraceptives.
He revealed his wife had an implant contraception surgery at a local health center where they lived. They also supplemented with drugs from a pharmacy.
However, despite their efforts, the wife conceived and gave birth to four babies at once.
“But despite all these, she conceived and was confirmed to be carrying four babies after a scan. We then visited the Kubwa General Hospital where she had a second scan and the same thing was confirmed; even with the expected date of delivery next month.
“We had to rush back last Thursday as she started observing signs of delivery. She gave birth to the four babies without any operation.” Agbo told DailyTrust.
The chief medical consultant of the hospital, Dr Onogwu Joseph, on his part said, “I am not aware of the said use of contraception by the mother of the quadruplets. But I presume that if it had been properly used it should not have led to that.”
Church reacts to reports that their pastor made an ”infertile couple have intercourse” on the church altar for a child
A church has reacted after a photo showing two people laying on each other on the church’s altar while a pastor and several church members put out their hands towards them, went viral and sparked outrage online.
According to viral reports, the pair had been trying for a child for ten years without success, and when they sought help from the church, the minister encouraged them to have coitus on the altar in front of the congregation.
The photo sparked controversy, with many people expressing their thoughts about it.
However, reacting, the church located in Brazil said the photo was of two women, not a man and a woman.
They explained that the woman had arrived sick and had fainted during service. So after the preaching, the pastor called the sick woman and told another woman to lie on her as a prophetic act.
The church said getting a female minister to lie on top of the sick woman was based on the Bible passage that saw Prophet Elisha lie on the body of a dead boy while praying to God to bring his spirit back to life.
In other news, Nigerian lawyer and activist, Moe Odele, has said she can only agree to be a housewife if her husband puts her on a monthly pay of $77k (N32 million).
Odele claimed in a tweet that if her husband agrees to her price, she’ll gladly quit her job to become a full-time housewife.
She also stated that if she could find a man ready to pay her such a sum, she would do house chores such as cleaning and dishwashing.
