Precious, the estranged wife of former aviation minister Femi Fani-Kayode, is undoubtedly overjoyed as she reunites with her children after a two-year separation.
The former beauty queen, whose 6-year marriage to the politician hit the rock in 2020, claimed FFK denied her access to see her children ever since. She has taken to social media several times, most of the time in tears, to beg to see her children.
Since their marriage ended in 2020, Fani Kayode and Precious Chikwendu have been locked in a legal battle over custody of their four children.

However, in a recent development, it appears the pair have settled their differences regarding co-parenting.

Precious was finally allowed to see her children over the weekend, and the video of their heartwarming moment was shared on FFK’s Instagram page.
“My sons spent the day with their mother yesterday! What a beautiful sight it was! Love, peace and joy all around! Thanks be to God. @snowhiteey , Thanks Mama Aragorn”. He captioned the video.

Precious, on her part, shared photos from the event and thanked her estranged husband for giving her the opportunity to reunite with their kids.
She added that Fani-Kayode has had a change of mind and is working on a peaceful co-parenting process so that the children grow up with equal amounts of love and care from both parents.

Dear All,
Overtime I have learnt to keep my peace and focus on the things I aspire to achieve in my youthfulness rather than the ones that would derail me from my path, but I have to keep everyone updated on what is currently going on especially for the people who have constantly prayed and fought with me when I was going through the worst time in my life.As a mother, my greatest prayer is being able to hug my kids , play with and spend time with them no matter how little the time. Bearing in mind that God gave me a basic assignment in their lives as a watchman. This is a win for us all, I have gone from not seeing them AT ALL for 2years to spending a few hours (Play Date)with them and also tending to one who wasn’t well as at the time i was reached. That is all that it is currently, but I believe their Father has a change of mind and is working out a process for a peaceful coparenting as wars always have a long lasting effect to both parties regardless .
Please be patient with me as I am basking in this little joy and win for a little longer as well as soaking it all in as I figure a way to put all issues to rest without drama.Thank you all so very much for the messages and well wishes. Thanks to my concerned elders. Their Father (through his aides) and some good people around him are in talks to see to it that my children grow up having balanced love and affection from both sides. I am hoping this leads to an end in media wars and to a peaceful coparenting as we move on to achieve our various destinies apart .
Signed
Precious Chikwendu”. She wrote on Instagram.

Family and friends of a 45-year-old Nigerian man, Patrick Ohanta, who was killed in the United State of America by a drunk driver just six weeks after arriving in the state, have taken to social media to mourn him.
The deceased, an alumnus of the University of Ibadan, was hit and killed by a car driven by a drunk driver while standing by the side of a kerb in Pineville, Louisiana.
He’s said to have arrived America only 6 weeks ago, and was reportedly walking home from a job interview at about 5.20 PM when the tragic incident occurred.

Police say Patrick was attempting to cross the Curtis-Coleman Bridge when he was struck by a vehicle driven by David Slaughter, a 29 year-old man from Pineville. A preliminary investigation conducted by the APD shows the man drove onto the shoulder hitting Ohanta who was pronounced dead at the scene.
At the site, the driver was apprehended. He was detained and charged with 4th offense DWI, operating a vehicle while license is suspended, reckless driving, and vehicular murder.
Taking to Facebook, a close friend of the deceased, one Olayinka Davids wrote,
“This life! Aiye! #LifeIsUnfair. Pato Patrick Ohanta this is not how we planned it. 😭😭 You were suppose to get here and start a better life for yourself and your family. You worked so hard, but had your life cut short by an intoxicated/impaired driver barely 6weeks after getting to the US.
This makes absolute no sense to me. You struggled & endured too much to deserve this – taken away from us just when things are beginning to look bright. You did not deserve this one bit brother….God knows best! Rest in Peace classmate, friend and brother. #InAllThingsGiveThanks”.

“Good morning my fellow Nigerians!
Today, is a very sad day to write.
My prayer is that God will heal our nation, and restore peace on our land, amen 🙏
My prayer is that someday, life will start to have value once more, amen.
I remember as a kid, sometime around 1984, while i was in primary 4 in Central Primary School Oba.
Around 10am, almost immediately after morning assembly, the school bells rang and we were all assembled again, and were told the school had been shutdown for the week, and that we would use the bush track to all go home.
We learnt later that a fuel tanker crushed a palmwine tapper on his bicycle, on his way home from Afor Oba market after selling his palmwine.
Now, the school didn’t want any of us pupils, to see the accident scene, so they protected us from seeing what dead body looked like.
Can same ever be, again?
God help us!!!
May God comfort the families of the victims, and all others that may have had similar unfortunate incidents.
May God protect us all, amen 🙏”

Meanwhile Prof Banji Akintoye, leader of Ilana Omo Oodua Worldwide has condemned the attack, saying such can’t happen again.
Below is a statement that was released shortly after the attack ;
“We have stated it very expressly that the Yoruba people need to negotiate their exit from Nigeria as a matter of urgency, but our partisan political actors in Yorubaland never took us serious. We warned them that there’s fire on the mountain, but we were mocked because of their personal aggrandisement.
“Today, we have all been encircled, most especially, in Lagos. For herdsmen to have the effrontery of bombarding a church in Yorubaland to kill some people, shows that we are now in a realistic danger.
“My urgent advice to Governor Akeredolu is to pick up the gauntlet and declare an emergency against the activities of all Fulani herdsmen in the state with immediate effect. We have now been taken for granted. We need not pretend anymore. We must demand unanimously, an exit from Nigeria.
“We, the Yoruba people, cannot live in the same country with characters whose idea of common citizenship in Nigeria is to brutalise, subjugate and even exterminate us. It is time to leave these characters now. All stakeholders – the elites, traditional rulers, our women should act now.
“All the South-West states, including the Yoruba leaders in Kogi and Kwara states should equally declare an emergency against the activities of Fulani herdsmen. We must now take our destinies into our hands,”
The armed men who invaded the church in Governor Rotimi Akeredolu’s country home in Volkswagen Golf 4, struck around 11:15 am at the peak of the service, shot sporadically into the church while some of them stationed themselves at the entrance of the church to prevent the people from escaping from the church.
President Buhari has condoled with the families of the deceased, the Ondo state government and the Catholic community after the gruesome terror attacks at St Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Owo, Ondo State.
In a statement released on Sunday June 5 by his spokesperson Femi Adesina, the President said “only fiends from the nether region could have conceived and carried out such a dastardly act.”
The statement read;
“President Muhammadu Buhari has condemned the heinous killing of worshippers Sunday at the St Francis Catholic Church, Owa-luwa Street, Owo Kingdom, in Ondo state.
“The president says only fiends from the nether region could have conceived and carried out such a dastardly act, adding that eternal sorrow awaits them both on earth here, and ultimately in the hereafter.
“President Buhari mourns the dead, condoles with their families, the Catholic Church, and the Government of Ondo State, charging emergency agencies to swing into action, and bring succor to the wounded.
“No matter what, this country shall never give in to evil and wicked people, and darkness will never overcome light. Nigeria will eventually win.”
Governor of Ondo State, Rotimi Akeredulo has reacted to Sunday’s fatal killing of Catholic worshippers by suspected fulani herdsmen.
A video making the rounds on social media show several persons lying on the floor inside the church in a pool of blood. Many have been feared dead and others were left fatally wounded.
The Governor while reacting, said he is deeply saddened by the unprovoked attack and they will hunt down the perpetrators and make them pay.

Hw wrote on Twitter;
I am deeply saddened by the unprovoked attack and killing of innocent people of Owo, worshiping at the St. Francis Catholic Church, Today.
The vile & satanic attack is a calculated assault on the peace-loving people of Owo Kingdom who have enjoyed relative peace over the years.
It is a black Sunday in Owo. Our hearts are heavy. Our peace and tranquility have been attacked by the enemies of the people. This is a personal loss, an attack on our dear state.
I have spoken to the Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Ondo, Most Reverend Jude Arogundade, who is presently on his way to Owo. Similarly, I have had to cut short my party’s national assignment in Abuja and visit Owo immediately.
This is an unexpected development. I am shocked to say the least. Nevertheless, We shall commit every available resource to hunt down these assailants and make them pay. We shall never bow to the machinations of heartless elements in our resolves to rid our state of criminals.
I commiserate with my people in Owo, particularly families of the those who lost their lives to this ugly and unfortunate attack.
I extend my condolences to Olowo of Owo, Oba Gbadegesin Ogunoye as well as the Catholic Church.
I urge our people to remain calm and vigilant. Do not take laws into your hands. I have spoken to the heads of the security agencies. I have equally been assured that security operatives would be deployed to monitor and restore normalcy to Owo kingdom.
Davido’s Lawyer, Bobo Ajudua has come under serious fire from Nigerians after he shared a video of himself having a good time with his son.
Nigerians particularly frowned at the fact that he was puffing smoke from a shisha pipe and his son seemingly assisted him in the process.
An Aide to Governor Okowa, Ossai Ovie Success has taken to his page to lambaste the lawyer who he described as an irresponsible father.

Ossai’s post reads ;
He is an irresponsible father.
I heard this is Davido’s lawyer, Bobo Ajudua with his son in the club.
He is disgrace to the law profession and should be sanctioned.
Well, being a lawyer doesn’t qualified you to be a responsible father.
No responsible father will ever do this in the presence of his son.
Some fathers have lost morality.
Look at the video very well and you will see the point where the child wanted to emulate the father’s irresponsible act.
This is sad.
The mother should please take full custody of the child to avoid more harm since the father is showing act of irresponsibility.
