Angel who earlier claimed she was always on the move to run away from her toxic family, in a conversation with Saskay on Wednesday, September 1st, revealed she dropped out of school and ran away from home in 2018 but her mother didn’t find out until after 1 year.
The 21-year-old speaking on her relationship with her mum, criticized African parenting. According to her, a typical African parent’s style of raising a child is toxic.
“My mother didn’t know when I ran away from home and school until 2019. I ran away from home in 2018 when I dropped out of UNILAG and she didn’t find out till a year after. That’s how African parenting can make you make some decisions.” She said.

This fueled him to push up his craft, create and show the world his sound. In his own words, “For once, I was convinced I wasn’t invisible, I was invincible…and I knew I wasn’t going to give up.”
The empowerment grant gave him massive exposure, training and a platform to amplify his voice. He had the opportunity to work with Cracker Malo, the Producer, on his song ‘La Familia.’ This made him more confident in his craft, and now his songs are getting thousands of streams across various platforms. His next target is a million streams with his just-released album, ‘GENESIS’ by OYC, with the song ‘La Familia’ powered by Infinix listed as one of the tracks. He wants to collaborate with some of the industry greats like Davido, win awards and get his song to a broader range of listeners.

Vic O who announced his fathers passing in a video he shared on social media lamented that death took his father at a wrong time, when he is yet to get out of bankruptcy.
According to him, his late dad has been his support and the one that has been helping him get through this difficult phase of his life with his comforting words.

In an apparent reaction to this, Alesh in a post shared on his Instagram page, stated that only poor people are homophobic. According to him, once a person is wealthy in Nigeria, people throw away their values for that person.
He wrote,
“Only poor people are homophobic. Whenever money is involved, values disappear… See elders, e choke ooo, for this Lagos
BTW some people should Abosi and Atenu.. stay one place”
