Woman allegedly “cuts off her husband’s penis and cooks it” after killing him in self-defence
A Brazilian woman, identified as Dayane Cristina Rodrigues Machado, has been arrested on suspicion of killing her husband before cutting off his penis and cooking it.
The 33-year-old woman was nabbed by the police in Sao Goncalo, a Brazilian city on June 7.
Police were invited to the couple’s house in the neighbourhood of Santa Catarin and found her husband’s naked and mutilated body.
According to the police, Cristina allegedly cut off her husband, Andre’s penis and cooked it in soybean oil in a frying pan.
They added that the crime occurred around 4am in the morning after the couple had an arguement about splitting up.
The cops also recovered a kitchen knife from the crime scene which is believed to be the murder weapon she used in killing her husband.
Cristina has been arrested and charged for murder and corpse desecration.
According to reports from Brazil, the couple were together for 10 years and have 2 kids – an eight-year-old son and a five-year-old daughter. They also ran a pizzeria together.
However they had been separated for 2 years but were still hanging out occasionally.
The couple stepped out to a snack bar on the night of the incident before the argument ensued, news site UOL reports.
Cristina’s lawyer, Carla Policarpo, said Andre threatened that if she couldn’t be with him, then she couldn’t be with anyone else, so she killed him in self defense.
According to her lawyer: “He did not accept the end of the relationship and said that if she could not be with him, she could not be with anyone.”
However, Andre’s sister, Adriana Santos, claims the suspect killed her brother out of revenge because he once cheated on her.
Reports have it that the couple fought a lot and Christina once reported her husband to the police.
Meanwhile, the investigation is ongoing.
Woman narrates how she has been living in a toilet with her kids for six years (video)
A single mother of four, simply identified as Joselyn, has narrated how she has been living in a toilet with her children for the past six years.
The woman who shared her touching story with Afrimax_tv, revealed she once lived a good life with her kids before her husband deserted them.
According to her, she was happily married and lived in a decent house with her family until her husband suddenly changed and became an alcoholic.
The man who used to be a caring and loving husband started coming home drunk and constantly beat her up, this continued until he told his family he was leaving to somewhere very far and they never saw him again.
Six months after the husband left them, the landlord evicted them from the house because they could not pay their rent.
With no one to help the woman sated that she lived on the streets for two months before finally discovering an old toilet where they now call home.
The hardship in living had its toll on the young children, and affected their performance in school.

A young Nigerian man who was reportedly arrested alongside Hushpuppi by Interpol in Dubai, has shared his first social media post in over 53 weeks.
The man on Instagram with the handle @officialpac02 said he was arrested just a week to his birthday and he saw his life that had great expectations crumble before him.
He didn’t give much details about what led to his release but he noted that the pain of incarceration and agonies of torture is what he would not wish on even his enemy.
He however confirmed that his bestfriend, Hushpuppi is still in detention.
About 16 hours ago, the young man took to his Instagram page to share a photo of himself with the caption ;
It is not funny how a dramatic turn of event can change everything forever. What seemed a quest for greener pastures turned out to be the darkest 6mths of my life. The pains of incarceration, the groans of solitude, the agonies of torture, my life that is lived with hope and great expectations was crumbling before me. A year ago today, I, Rahman(Hushpuppi) and some other friends got arrested in Dubai, it was a week to my birthday, I thought the end has come. How am I supposed to make it out of these? I came to Dubai for opportunities, but here I am, behind guarded bars. The experience was not palatable, I wouldn’t wish it on an enemy. Miraculously they got nothing on me. Freedom is good, but the experience remains indelible as I can’t free my thoughts and minds from the grips of confinements. I still have nightmares. For all it is worth, I am happy to walk the street and take-in the air as a free man. I am thankful for life and for the grace to look forward to my next birthday as a celebration of life and not behind bars counting down days with possibilities of worst outcomes. Life has not been the same since, more so, with my best friend and benefactor(Hushpuppi) still in detention. I hope he gets lucky too. EFCC arrests a Father and Son over alleged Internet fraud
Men of The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, have arrested a man and his father over alleged Internet fraud.
Malik Giles Bakare and his father, Isa Bola Bakare, are being investigated in an alleged case of conspiracy, computer-related fraud, obtaining by false pretense and retention of proceeds of unlawful activities.
Malik Giles Bakare was arrested and handed over to the Commission by officers of the Nigeria Police, Force CID, Alagbon, Lagos on May 31, 2021.
According to reports, His father, Isa Bola Bakare, appeared at the Commission during the investigation, claiming ownership of a Range Rover car estimated at about N46 Million, which was recovered from his son. However, the father failed to provide a satisfactory account of how he was able to procure the vehicle so he was arrested too.
In a statement on Wednesday, June 9, EFCC spokesman, Wilson Uwujaren, said Malik acted as a middleman between fraudsters.
“He connects internet fraudsters around the globe with pickers, and receives some percentage on every successful transaction.”

Chinese man attacks Sierra Leonean man on mining site in Sierra Leone (video)
In a video that has gone viral on social media, a Chinese man is seen scolding Sierra Leonean workers and the scolding turned physical when a Sierra Leonean Safety Officer stood up to him.
The man who filmed the incident is heard narrating what happened to the other Chinese workers who ran to the scene during the fight.
He said: “The man is conducting a safety tool box meeting, he went there and disrupt the safety meeting. He has no right.”

CAN finally sends condolence message following T.B Joshua’s death
The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has finally commiserated with the family of late popular Nigerian pastor and televangelist, T.B Joshua.
This is coming after Nigerian journalist, Dele Momodu and media personality, Daddy Freeze berated the association for keeping mum following the death of the popular Nigerian clergyman.
CAN in a letter signed by its president, Samson Ayokunle, and addressed to T.B Joshua’s wife described the deceased as one of the foremost Nigerian charismatic pastor, televangelist, and philanthropist who devoted his entire lifetime to the propagation of the gospel.
The letter reads,
“The news of the demise of your darling husband, Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua, who was until his transition at the age of Fifty-Seven (57) was the leader and founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations came to us amidst great shock and sorrow.
“We are particularly sad because the deceased showed no trace of illness prior to his demise after an Evening Church Service on Saturday 5th June 2021. We commiserate with you, the children and the entire members of SCOAN on this irreparable loss.
“Prophet T.B Joshua was one of the foremost Nigerian charismatic pastor, televangelist, and philanthropist who devoted his entire lifetime to the propagation of the gospel and ministering to the needs of the downtrodden. He was renowned for his philosophical simplicity and humility. His death is not only a loss to the family and the church, but to Nigeria and the world at large.
“There are indeed no exact words of comfort at a moment like this, but we humbly enjoin you to take solace in the Will of the Almighty God, who works in us both to do and work according to his good purpose (Philippians 2:13).
“We know that Our Lord Jesus Christ in whom there is all-sufficiency, and whom you have been serving wholeheartedly will make all grace abound unto you at this trying moment (2 Corinthians 9:8).

President Buhari takes delivery of first made-in-Nigeria cell phone
President Muhammadu Buhari has taken delivery of the first-ever made in Nigeria cellphone called ITF Mobile.
The phone was presented by the Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Otunba Niyi Adebayo, today June 9, before this week’s Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting commenced at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Speaking about the novel product, Adebayo said it was produced by the Electrical/Electronics Technology Department of the Industrial Training Fund’s (ITF) Model Skills Training Centre, using locally sourced components.
He said:
“Twelve indigenous mobile cell phones produced by the Model Skills Training Centre of the Industrial Training Fund; an agency under Ministry of Industry Trade and Investment was launched.
“It gives me great pleasure, Mr President, to present you with one of the phones.”
Northern farmers lament as onions rotten over refusal to supply to South
Onion farmers in the North have complained about the deterioration of their produce as suppliers have refused to supply to the southern part of Nigeria.
According to reports, over 50 trucks of onions have rotted away at their farms and markets since the suspension of the supply of onion to the South.
Recall that the Onion Producers and Marketers Association of Nigeria (OPMAN), announced the suspension of the supply of onions to the South-East over the security challenges currently facing the region.
The national president of the association, Aliyu Isa, who made this announcement at a press briefing on Wednesday, May 2nd, revealed that association’s decision was based on the recent hijack of two of their member trucks by suspected members of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.
The OPMAN president, Aliyu was quoted by Daily Trust saying,
“If the government fails to adhere to the demands of the association, we are shutting down the supply of onions to the entire South by Monday, June 7, 2021.”

Nigerian music producer, Fayabeats, has taken to micro-blogging platform, Twitter to narrate how he beat three different types of cancer in one year.
The producer who clocked a new age today, June 9th in an appreciation tweet thanked God for miraculously sparing his life.
One would agree that not many people are fortunate to survive cancer but Faya beat three different types of cancer at different times in one year.
According to him, In January 2020 he was diagnosed with Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma and Brain tumor with extension to the eyes, metasis to spine in November same year.
Sharing photos of himself at various times of the illness and now that he’s recovered, he wrote,
“It’s my birthday . if i refuse to thank God i’d be an ingrate. Fought three different type of cancers in a year!

A lady has been nabbed for catfishing on a hookup site and almost destroying her victim’s relationship in Edo state.
It was gathered that the suspect used another woman’s picture as profile picture on the hookup site.
Whenever she receives a message from a potential client, she sends her real picture before they meet physically. Apparently, she uses the victim’s picture as a cover for her “thriving” business.

However, she ran out of luck recently after she was caught by some security operatives.
Videos circulating on social media shows the moment the lady was being interrogated. In the video, she revealed that she is a prostitute and charges up to N15k for her services.
She also disclosed that she has a boyfriend but claims he doesn’t know what she does for a living.
The lady broke down in tears as she admitted that she was wrong for using another person’s picture for her selfish gain.
Meanwhile, the lady she used on her profile is on the verge of losing her relationship because her husband-to-be thinks she is a runs girl.

Ghanaian hairdresser allegedly stabs boyfriend to death over soup days after she accused him of cheating on her
A young woman has been arrested by the police for allegedly stabbing her boyfriend to death with a scissors over grasscutter soup, in Ghana.
It was gathered that before the unfortunate incident the suspect who is a 27-year-old hairdresser had earlier accused the boyfriend of cheating on her.
According to a police source, the lovers engaged in a heated quarrel after the deceased denied the suspect a grass cutter meal he was eating.
The deceased, Prince Yaw Aboagye, was later found lying lifeless in front of their room at Abesim in Sunyani municipality, Ghana, after his girlfriend, Hilda Asumani stabbed him with a scissors.
Hilda, a mother of two, allegedly stabbed Aboagye four times on the neck and chin and sensing danger, she tried to stop the blood that oozed from the wounds with a bedspread.
According to some co-tenants who spoke to journalists, the couple who have been in a relationship for over six years and blessed with a child, had been having heated argument and fights for some time now.
A resident who pleaded anonymity said Hilda and her boyfriend had a misunderstanding last Sunday, June 6th, after she suspected him of having an affair with another woman.
Hilda seized his phone later and that led to fight which was later resolved though she refused to give him back his phone.
The body has since been deposited at the Bono Regional Hospital for postmortem while the police continues investigation.
