Yesterday, a Vigilante group in Igboukwu, Anambra State nabbed the man pictured above as he attempted to flee with the motorcycle pictured above he stole somewhere in Ezihu, a village in the community.
According to an eye witness, Emmanuel Anselem who shared the images on a Facebook Group, the suspect, a native of Ekwulobia confessed to have killed a woman after raping her by inserting a gun into her private part.
A seemingly innocuous fun photo has put his followers up in arms because of what many consider as the inappropriate position of his hand in the little girl’s anatomy
Going through his Instagram page, opinions are divided with many calling the rapper ‘sick’, and Flacko has been defending himself nonstop.
The comments are written in bastardised English, but I was able to deduce the general sentiments, which is that of disapproval.

A middle-aged Fulani woman, simply identified as Asmau allegedly disappeared with two female children of the mistress with whom she served as a house help in Ogere, Remo North local government area of Ogun State.
Amasu had stayed with the mother of the children as a house maid for four months before she bolted away with the two girls, Amina, 6 and Rukayya, 7.
She was later arrested in the Ikorodu axis of Lagos State while using them as beggars. Narrating her ordeal, mother of the stolen children, identified as Hawau told Vanguard she paid the Amasu N400 or N500 daily to help with house chores.
She further explained that, it all started on the last Muslim festival day, Eid-el Fitr which was held July 6, 2016. According to her, she had planned to send the children to Lagos for holiday with their grand parents, a move she discussed with her brother, which prompted her brother to visit her during sallah celebrations. Hawau said:
“My brother came to pick them (Amina and Rukayya) but did not meet me and my children at home on Sallah day because we had gone to the Eid ground to pray. He did not wait for me as he left for Lagos. When my children knew that he had come and gone they started crying. “Asmau used the opportunity and told me she was going to Lagos that day and that she will help me to take them to their grandparents, so, I agreed and asked the children to go with her. After two days, I found out that the children were not at their grandparents’ house, I called the woman but her number was not connecting. I checked her at her house, I did not find her and my children. “I started to go round to check out till I spent all what I had and yet I did not find them.
I then reported to the Sarkin Hausawa of Ogere Alhaji Abdullahi Saminaka, who organised a prayer and informed the people.
“Luckily for me, a woman came to the palace and told the Sarkin that she saw Asmau with my children begging in Ikorodu in Lagos state. So, he (Sarkin) sent his men to go and bring them; one of them, called Ali told us that he found the children with the woman begging for alms in tattered clothes.”We were also told that the woman removed their new sallah clothes and gave it to one woman, who was a food vendor, in exchange for food. The children told us that the woman used to beat them if they cried or refused to go and beg for alms. She told people, while they went begging for alms that she is their mother.”
Nigeria dream team captain, Mikel Obi, has admitted that his team mates didn’t play well in Wednesday’s Olympics football semi final clash against Germany in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
With the team missing the services of two key players in the shape of Oghenekaro Etebo and Azubuike Okechukwu, they struggled against the Europeans, first conceding early in the first half, before Nils Petersen grabbed a second goal with one minute remaining.
“I wanted to win the gold medal, but the fact is that we did not play well today (Wednesday). The Germans played well,” allnigeriasoccer.com quoted the Chelsea midfielder as saying at the press conference.
“We are professionals, we can now claim third place and this is what we get. We want to give a medal to Nigeria. ”
Expert in Dentistry in Ilorin, Kwara State, Dr Alatishe Muhammad, has apprised the public that using toothpick to remove food remnant from teeth could harm the teeth and gums.
He said what was medically recommended was cleaning between the teeth at least once a day, using an interdental cleaner such as floss.
He said:
“Using a toothpick is not an ideal way to remove something stuck between your teeth.
Toothpicks can cause abrasion and damage to your teeth at the base where they meet the gums. This can lead to gum disease and other dental problems.”.

‘Stop this body art inspirational BS! If you want to show off your body on social media do so without attaching some misleading higher purpose to it. You were inspiration enough with your clothes on.’
The dancer however, wasted no time in responding to her critics as wrote the words below:
“Don’t marry a wife who can’t cook”, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye advised the congregation at 64th convention of The Redeemed Christian Church of God – and the Internet was agog as divergent views flooded cyber space.
The 74 year old respected pastor relied on some passages of the Bible to recommend ‘wife materials’ for young men.
And Encomium.ng here lists some chapters of the Bible that validate the sermon of the former Mathematics lecturer on cooking…
Proverbs 31:14-15
14 – She is like the ships of the merchant; she brings her food from afar.
15 – She rises while it is yet night and provides food for her household and portions for her maidens.
Genesis 18: 1-8 (Abraham asks Sarah his wife to cook food for strangers)
1 – The Lord appeared to Abraham near the great trees of Mamre while he was sitting at the entrance to his tent in the heat of the day.
2 – Abraham looked up and saw three men standing nearby. When he saw them, he hurried from the entrance of his tent to meet them and bowed low to the ground.
3 – He said, “If I have found favor in your eyes, my lord,[a] do not pass your servant by.
4 – Let a little water be brought, and then you may all wash your feet and rest under this tree.
5 – Let me get you something to eat, so you can be refreshed and then go on your way—now that you have come to your servant.”
“Very well,” they answered, “do as you say.”
6 – So Abraham hurried into the tent to Sarah. “Quick,” he said, “get three of the finest flour and knead it and bake some bread.”
7 – Then he ran to the herd and selected a choice, tender calf and gave it to a servant, who hurried to prepare it.
8 – He then brought some curds and milk and the calf that had been prepared, and set these before them. While they ate, he stood near them under a tree.
1 Kings 17: 7-15 (The Widow at Zarephath cooked for Elijah)
7 – Some time later the brook dried up because there had been no rain in the land.
8 – Then the word of the Lord came to him:
9 – “Go at once to Zarephath in the region of Sidon and stay there. I have directed a widow there to supply you with food.”
10 – So he went to Zarephath. When he came to the town gate, a widow was there gathering sticks. He called to her and asked, “Would you bring me a little water in a jar so I may have a drink?”
11 – As she was going to get it, he called, “And bring me, please, a piece of bread.”
12 – “As surely as the Lord your God lives,” she replied, “I don’t have any bread—only a handful of flour in a jar and a little olive oil in a jug. I am gathering a few sticks to take home and make a meal for myself and my son, that we may eat it—and die.”
13 – Elijah said to her, “Don’t be afraid. Go home and do as you have said. But first make a small loaf of bread for me from what you have and bring it to me, and then make something for yourself and your son.
14 – For this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: ‘The jar of flour will not be used up and the jug of oil will not run dry until the day the Lord sends rain on the land.’”
15 – She went away and did as Elijah had told her. So there was food every day for Elijah and for the woman and her family.
16 – For the jar of flour was not used up and the jug of oil did not run dry, in keeping with the word of the Lord spoken by Elijah.
So she became the heat of the moment for a while thanks to the very revealing outfit she donned to her birthday dinner last night – well, after being hit with strong comments by her fans who disapproved her outfit, she’s come out to dauntlessly say she doesn’t care.
Sharing more photos from her birthday dinner last night, the actress says if anyone does not like her, they can as well kill themselves.
Popular Actress, Stella Damasus has also waded in on the controversial statement made by Pastor Adeboye.
In a video posted on YouTube the actress says, if a woman can spend hours watching makeup tutorials and gisting and cannot pray for her family such woman is dangerous.
“If a woman who is married is not able to spend at least one hour to fight for what she holds dear which is her marriage, then what is the point marrying her? If we can spend hours on our cell phones doing social media, we can spend hours gisting with friends, spend a longtime doing fashion and watching makeup tutorials and we cannot spend one hour to pray for our family, that is a dangerous woman to marry.”
Pastor Adeboye was talking in a Christian gathering and not to the whole world because whatever we say is not for everybody.
On cooking, she said:
“As a female it would help you to know how to cook.” Make an effort even if it is once in a while, you have a responsibility to make sure that your man is taken care of because your expectation of him is that he provides for you.”
This comes after Adeboye at the RCCG camp ground advised young men not to marry a woman with poor culinary skill, or one who cannot pray for at least an hour.
Ghana’s most controversial man of God, Bishop Daniel Obinim sparked yet another outrage on social media today after a video showing him flogging a teenage girl and her alleged boyfriend in the full glare of his congregation surfaced online, and stirred up conversations on why the ‘Angel of God’ has not yet been arrested.
According to Olisa.TV, the incident took place yesterday at Obinim’s International Godsway Church in Ghana. The bishop had claimed that his “angels” revealed to him that the two youngsters were fornicating, leading him to bring them out during service and punish them for their sins.
He also stated that their s*xual affair had resulted in pregnancy and they had secretly terminated it.
In the video which was televised live on his OBTV, many of Obinim’s followers in the church, including his musician wife, Florence Obinim were seen laughing as the bishop repeatedly whipped the duo.
At some point, his junior pastors also joined in the flogging.
Twitter and Facebook are currently burning up with comments from outraged people who have slammed the action of the supposed man of God as barbaric as many are calling on relevant authorities to take action.
Below are some of the reactions we culled from Twitter;

So we still don’t know the infants’ look facially, all we can deduce from the photos the actress has been sharing is that the twins took their mother’s complexion, we can’t tell for sure though as they’re still toddlers, things could change in the later future.
The actress shared this photo of herself and one of her twins playing the piano … How sweet…
These photos are currently trending on Instagram. According to the social media user who shared these pictures, the man and his wife are known to be a troubled couple due to their frequent fights both in private and pubic.

Trust residents to make good use of their camera phones.
The woman identified as Mrs Francisca Obeji, has dragged her husband to court.
The 31-year-old businesswoman, dragged her husband before an Igando Customary Court in Lagos on Thursday where she complained bitterly about him.
She said: “My husband, Ezekiel Obeji, impregnated his `sister’ in our matrimonial home.”
According to the News Agency of Nigeria, Obeji told the court that her husband of seven years impregnated a woman he introduced to her as his `sister’.
“My husband, who married me as a virgin, stopped making love to me three-months after our wedding. Four-months into our wedding, he brought a young woman home and introduced her to me as his `sister’.
“He told me that she would be living with us and I accepted, because I didn’t know all his siblings.
“After some months, this his ‘sister’ got pregnant and my husband ran away with her to an unknown destination and sublet our apartment to another tenant without my knowledge.
“I had to vacate the apartment that day as the new tenant moved in immediately my husband absconded. When I heard that my husband did the traditional wedding with his so-called ‘sister,’ I travelled to his hometown to confirm from his parents.
“His parents told me they could only accept a fertile woman as their wife, while they advised me to go and look for another man to marry.
“I do not know where to trace my husband as he had relocated elsewhere from the shop I established for him and had also changed his cell phone numbers,” she said.
Obeji accused and called her husband, who had failed to appear in court after being summoned severally, an ingrate.
“Ezekiel is ungrateful and I now know that he never truly loved me; he was only after my money.
“When he approached me for marriage, he was jobless, but when he pleaded with me to allow him join me in my business, I accepted.
“After our wedding, he took over the business from me,” she said.
She also alleged that her husband turned her into a punching bag, almost beating her to the point of death within the few months of their living together.
She, therefore, pleaded with the court to dissolve the union, saying she was no longer in love and that she would like to move on with her life.
The court president, Mr Adegboyega Omilola, ordered the petitioner to submit an affidavit of service that would enable the court to continue with the matter despite the respondent’s absence.
Omilola, however, adjourned the case to Aug. 30 for further hearing.

Two goals scored, one in each half of the semi final clash match were all the Germans needed to make sure the Nigerian Dream Team did not play in the Rio Olympics football final which means Germany would now play Brazil on Saturday for the gold medal, while Nigeria would battle Honduras for the bronze.
Former Minister of Sports, Bala Ka’oje, said that the country’s poor preparations to the Rio Olympics contributed mainly to the team’s semi-final 0-2 loss to Germany on Wednesday in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
The former minister who said that the over reliance of the sports administrators, especially the football administrators on luck, failed the Dream Team VI at the ongoing Olympics, adding that rather than prepare adequately for competitions, sports administrators, especially those in the football circle, preferred to prepare teams for competition few weeks to major tournaments.
He blamed the present sports administrators for the Dream Team’s semi-finals loss, noting that efforts should be done to ensure the team grabbed the bronze medal at the expense of Honduras.
“I feel so disappointed watching that match; Siasia’s game plan especially his substitutions were wrong. The team lacked coordination at some point and some of the changes made were unnecessary.
“Inadequate preparation is the major factor why the team lost but I didn’t like the way the boys played; if they had adequate preparation, it would have been a different ball game.
“What this means is that we must prepare for competitions at the right time, when others are preparing; one hopes on luck only when he or she has prepared late for something,” Ka’Oje said.
The former minister however, said that all hope was not lost as the team was capable of defeating Honduras in the third place match to claim bronze.
“They have also tried to get to that level considering the poor preparation of the team before the Olympics. So far, we have not gotten any medal in Rio and we are relying so much on the Dream Team to give us a medal.”

“condemned the recent move by the Minister of Health, Prof Adewole in collaboration with the foreign agencies to commit the federal government to increasing the culture of contraception and subsequently, abortion among our people” , Vanguard reports.
The communiqué signed by its President and Archbishop of Ibadan, Gabriel Abegunrin and Secretary, Bishop Felix Ajakaye noted that “the policy is being done all in the name of providing better maternal health and empowering our people.”

An annular eclipse that will be visible all over the country with different degrees of totality will occur on Thursday, September 1, the National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA) has said.
NASRDA, in a statement yesterday, said the highest degree of obscurity in Nigeria would be in the southern part of the country, particularly in Lagos where it is expected to have 80% obscurity.
In the statement signed by its Head of Media and Corporate Communications Dr Felix Ale, the agency added that the lowest degree of obscurity would be about 45% and this would be observed in the northern part of the country, particularly in Sokoto.
“The annular eclipse will be observed as a partial or near total eclipse across the nation with Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory, expected to be about 60%”, the statement said.
The space agency particularly said the annular eclipse is expected to occur between 7:15am and 10:03am with slight variations in actual timing across the country.
In Lagos, the first contact will occur at about 7:15am while the maximum eclipse will occur around 8:30am and will end by 10:03am, according to NASRDA.
“The eclipse is expected to commence in Abuja around 7:17am, with maximum eclipse to be recorded at about 8:32am and the eclipse will end around 10:00am”, the statement added.
It noted that eclipse is not a spiritual issue but a natural occurrence that can be accurately predicted by science. While appealing to the general public not to panic or adduce any mystical interpretations to this event, the agency advised that nobody should observe the eclipse with naked eyes.
