Popular red carpet host and TV presenter, Denerele Edun has said social media destroyed his plans of getting married last year.
Denrele who last year revealed he was on the verge of getting married, said the plans were altered after he made the announcement.
While many assumed it was just a ploy for him to trend online, Denrele who is widely presumed to be gay and stuck in the closet, has said his marital plans are real.
Speaking in a recent interview, he said:
“I will still get married, honestly, I was supposed to get married last year and I did not plan to publicise the whole affair. I intended to tell people few days to the day of the wedding so that they would come and find out who I was getting married to. But somehow, the news leaked and there was too much media hype around it.
“At a point, it began to look as if I fabricated the story to be in the news but it was the real deal for me. I am trying to pursue the matter but I am not going to say when it would happen. When it is time, people would get the invite but I would not blab. I am going to get married in Nigeria because I have realised over time that I am loved by all. I would not do a strictly VIP crowd because I would invite everybody who is interested in coming, they should come and watch me get married.”
Denrele who is not linked to any woman refused to revealed the identity of his Fiancee but disclosed she used to be in the entertainment industry.
He said:
“My fiancée is not in the entertainment industry. She used to be in the industry but quit because she could not come to terms with the industry so she decided to do a regular 9-5 job.
“Relationship is all about communication, if anyone tries to change who I am, I would send the person back to her family house and collect my bride price back. It cannot happen because at the end of the day, we would be hungry at home and start looking at ourselves.
“Marriage would not change me. I know that there is that factor of staying true to one person which I am working on. I am getting there.”

Reality TV star, Khloe Kardashian has revealed how she had to struggle with education, admitting it wasn’t easy cause she wasn’t a popular kid like her sisters…
She shared her experience on her website in a post titled: XOXO: All About My Education. She wrote:
‘My education didn’t follow a traditional trajectory, but I’m thankful for my parents who listened and supported me when I was having trouble. I know you’ve been curious about this (it’s one of the top questions Googled about me, apparently), so here are the ABCs of my education!’
‘I went to Marymount in ninth grade, while Kourt and Kim were there, but after they left, I felt like I had no one to be with,’ she said.
‘I struggled really hard in school, so I took myself out of Marymount and forged my parents’ names to enroll in Alexandria Academy. My dad was livid when he found out, and I was so scared, I was shaking.
‘He told me, “I’m so pissed, but the fact that you put so much effort into all of this … I’m going to let you do this. But you have to keep a certain GPA.” Alexandria Academy is not at-home, you go to a school, and there are tutors that give you individual attention. I needed that. I really did not know one person there. I knew college wasn’t for me, and I graduated from Alexandria with honors—which I never would’ve done in a traditional school.’
Though school got easier, it was hard being in the shadow of Kim and Kourtney. ‘While I loved having my built-in group with Kim and Kourtney, it was hard for me at times,’ she confessed.They may have already graduated when I got to school, but I remember that teachers would always exclaim, “You’re THEIR sister?” I didn’t have my own identity and was compared to them. Kim and Kourtney were so popular.’..I didn’t care about being popular in school, and was nice to everyone. If you were a loner I was like, “Come and sit with me!”‘ she said.
I really loved to write, so English class was my favorite, but there was one teacher who had it out for me and almost crushed my love of writing.
‘This teacher would consistently give me C’s or D’s on my papers.
‘I wanted to know what I was doing wrong because I cared about my writing, but she wouldn’t help me or give me constructive criticism.
‘My dad read my papers and felt the grades weren’t justified so, as a test, he wrote one of my papers and I turned it in. The teacher still gave me a D!’
She added: ‘My dad pulled me out of the class. I also loved theology—I think religions and how it intersects with culture and history is fascinating. I love learning, but don’t give me a test, LOL! I didn’t get A’s and B’s, but I enjoyed that stuff.’

How did you get to interview Tiwa ?
I was supposed to interview her three weeks ago. And she was supposed to get permission to use Jamil’s picture with the pampers picture.
I had been following up for a while unsuccessfully. i believe she was reluctant because of the issues going on in the marriage.
After Teejay’s rant in the morning, I was asked to check online and saw TeeJay’s rant. I called Tiwa and told her what I heard and asked about the interview we were supposed to have. I later called Elohor both lines were busy throughout the day. I was finally able to get Elohor about 10pm and said I need to speak to Tiwa.But she replied that she doesnt think Tiwa will talk. Around 2am my phone rang and I saw Tiwa’s caller ID. And it was herPA saying she’s ready to do the interview and asked If I can come she would be very grateful. So I had to get my younger brother to come with me because of the time. So they came to pick me from home and we went to Tiwa’s house. It was a bit scary because of that time of the night.
The interview was meant for ThisDay not PulseTV but her management decided to release it to Pulse instead. I was quite upset about that.
What state did you meet her ?
She was in a bad state. Like someone in mourning. Her eyes were swollen. She was in tears. I met her with Elohor in her bedroom. And she gave me her phone to read the exchange between her and her husband and from my conclusion she wanted peace and was asking for them to part ways amicably and be good friend’s for Jamil’s sake. I saw her photos from the miscarriage and that brought tears to my eyes.
People said why did she take pictures. But I believe it was because she knew who she married. There were pictures of her in a stretcher.
How well do you know them ?
I met Tiwa before she came to Nigeria. We became friends when she relocated and I did an interview with her. And shortly threreafter she introduced me to TJ as her manager then and we got talking. He showed a lot of dedication in making sure Tiwa progressed in her career.
I got along well with TJ even more than Tiwa. I feel very heartbroken this happened. I was involved in their wedding. I was the only journalist who flew to their wedding in Dubai.
Why did you show no emotion during the the interview ?
I had done my crying before I went on air. I told myself I had to be hard and it was deliberate. And her management insisted it had to be recorded so that she would not be misquoted. I am not a camera person but I decided to go along with their conditions because I wanted the exclusive. I felt she trusted me enough to give me the exclusive. I’m very nervous in front of the camera. It wasn’t easy for me because I was talking to a friend. I like TJ. I like Tiwa. It was tough I was trying to remove my emotions.
What would you say to your critics ?
I read some of the feedback and insults. I am not a TV journalist. I am a print journalist. I am not trained to be before a camera. I understand the criticism was because of the love for Tiwa so I’m not really bothered because I love her too. So believe it was because I didn’t show her the love which her fans expected.
After the interview was over we still sat down and talked and consoled her.
There were so many memes about my expression. People read me wrong. I was trying not to cry. I was in shock. But cyber bullying doesn’t move me. I have a thick skin. Tiwa knows I like her genuinely so I am ok with what anybody else says, We have mutual respect. She even called me later on to tell me not to let the insults bother me.
Some people even commended me on my ability to detach my emotions.I understand her fans coming after me because they think I’m an enemy.
what else would you have asked ?
I think I would have loved to speak with TJ. I read him and Tiwa’s exchange on her phone. Tiwa didn’t want war. I would have asked him how he allowed situation to deteriorate so horribly. I remember how he used to be so protective of her, she was like an egg to him. So it is so shocking things have gotten to this stage.
Do you think too much was shared ?
The woman I saw that night was broken. I really don’t want to blame her. She was a woman who had tried so much. She was in a terrible state. I had to ask her why she was crying like someone had died. She has covered so much from the public like when she covered his debts for the car,wristwatch etc because she was scared the media would get hold of all the information.
I dont believe she did it to revenge. Tiwa is a soft soul. She is not a bitter person. She probably did it to save her brand. She’s the biggest female brand in Nigeria maybe even Africa.
Do you think this will affect her endorsements ?
I don’t think so. I hope not. She was paid 2.5m for a show with Remy Martin and the money never got to her because it was with TJ.
Who do you think is at fault ?
I don’t really want to support anyone but I know them both. I know Tiwa will not fabricate things that never happened. If have to stand with anyone I will stand with Tiwa.
New allegations have come out about the identity of the 50year old Teebillz had a child with. Can you confirm ?
It’s actually shocking because I know Dr Oputa very well. Teebillz mentioned the child in one of his rants on social media. The information was revealed by Capital NG so it’s possible Lanre knows a close member for the family.

Did Banky’s Mother really kick TJ out of the house?
Banky is a gentleman and from a good home and his mother is polished. We all know Banky was the bestman at the wedding. I don’t think Banky would be that mean. I don’t think he would abandon his friend when his friend needs him.
Just days after Tunji ‘Teebillz’ Balogun broke the dam that held back the flood of issues in his marriage to singer, Tiwa Savage, investigations have revealed gross infidelity and domestic violence are the main reasons the marriage fell apart.
RADAR.NG has gathered that Tiwa Savage was aware of her husband’s vices way before marriage and she refused to heed the advice of friends and family before solemnizing their union.
A source in the know, exclusively revealed to RADAR.NG that Tiwa’s relationship with Don Jazzy ended before her marriage to Teebillz and her affair with 2Face was a one-time thing which also happened a long time ago so Tunji bringing it up was a desperate need for points.
Though Teebillz accused his wife of also sleeping with label mate Dr Sid, the source said it isn’t possible. In her own words: “Dr Sid ba wo? Maybe he was the one buying the condoms for Don Jazzy.”

It’s unclear why Tiwa decided to settle for a society wedding with her alleged pimp and abuser, but the source who is close to the couple claims age was probably the reason as it can’t be love.
The source further revealed their marriage almost ended months after they got married, adding that Tiwa discovered her husband was spending her money on things they don’t need. Also Teebillz allegedly kept blackmailing her about her extra-marital affairs. He kept hanging her alleged relationship with oil magnate, Femi Otedola, over her head.

RADAR.NG also gathered that the couple abused substances during the course of their relationship. It unclear if Tiwa was around drugs during her pregnancy, but another source claims they both abused illicit substances.

“Nigerians online say that people that have never been married have no authority to speak about marriage. Absolutely false! I have never been married and was engaged to my my fiance after we had two children but that engagement was quickly broken off after we had a third child because the relationship soured. Hollywood marriages have several stipulations where contracts called prenuptial agreements are signed and many other celebrities don’t even marry at all but just have children together.
“Women with several children for different men are scrutinized in Nigeria as compared to celebrity men like Tuface with several kids for many women or the P Square brothers who had kids out of wedlock. Society tends to blame the women. What led to my engagement breakdown was basically emotional and physical abuse. The emotional part being the worst and possibly what made Tiwa Savage end her marriage on camera. Nigerians and Africans around the world witnessed that last week with the award winning singer and her husband Tunji “TeeBillz” Balogun. Revelations came out in many forms as the Editor of ThisDay newspapers interviewed her while Pulse TV got the exclusive video which went viral on the internet with so many strange aspects.
“I predicted this breakdown almost three years ago in a Facebook post. “Why is Tiwa Savage marrying a man with kids and divorce is not final yet? This is how Nigerian celebrities screw up their lives.” I was crucified on social media for this statement and bloggers jumped on it all criticizing me as “jealous”. That was November 11th 2013. Tiwa Savage had a music manager who was married to someone else, next she started dating him while he was still married and had not finalized his divorce and that was where I threw the caution and got ripped by Nigerians.
“People like Toke Makinwa, another young successful Nigerian media personality was the subject of another similar infidelity scandal. My advice to Makinwa was to exit her marriage as it was now “tainted” with an illegitimate baby. New reports have just confirmed that Tee Billz who took shelter in Banky Wellington’s home in Lagos has just been sent packing by the mother of the EME boss.
According to The Capital NG Banky W brought Tee Billz to stay with him after the botched suicide attempt, but following Tiwa Savage’s tell-all interview, the mother of the EME boss requested that Tee Billz vacate her son’s home.
The Capital NG confirms that he has left the premises to unknown location. Also, Banky W is yet to confirm this news as at the time of this report.
Meanwhile, during her interview with Azuka Ogujiuba, Ms Savage revealed that her estranged husband has a third child whom she didn’t know of until they got married.
Now, Capital NG alleges that the celebrity manager had this third child with Dr Vivian Oputa, a medical practitioner and specialist in aesthetic medicine, surgery and dermatology who is based in the United States.

Leader of North Korea, Kim Jong-un has banned all weddings and funerals in North Korea as he prepares to be crowned as the country’s supreme leader at a rare ruling party congress.
The 33-year-old is expected to cement his leadership and formally declare the nation a nuclear-armed state at the first congress in a staggering 36 years.
Ahead of the meeting next week, North Korea has tightened security, with its capital, Pyongyang, placed on lockdown to avoid any ‘mishap‘ at the event.
Weddings and funeral services have also been cancelled this week for security reasons, according to the Sunday Times.
North Korea has in the past taken such steps ahead of major events and has at times also shut down its border with China for the same reason.
It was an all tragic moment in Dattawa, in the Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State, as four children suffocated after mistakenly locking themselves in a car.
The children – Umar Mansir (male, 9); Maryam Salisu (female, 12); Sadiyya Bashir (female, 7); and Fatima Ibrahim (female, 3) – lived with their parents in Rigasa Quarters and always played together.
However, their parents were said to have gone out on Thursday and one of them left his Honda Civic car unlocked in the compound.
The children were reported to have entered into the car and later closed the door.It was said that one of them pressed the lock button and as the car got heated, the children became trapped.
A resident said the kids suffocated, adding that their parents did not know they were dead until they came back home in the evening.
He said:
“The incident happened on Thursday, but the police did not get to know until the following day.The children lived in the same compound. Their parents went out on a visit that day and they started playing on the premises of their building.
“Later, they got into the car and locked the doors. When the heat became too much, they made efforts to get out to no avail. We saw scratches on the vehicles upholstery and the marks of their hands on the windows.
“However, they could neither get out nor find help and they died in the car. When their parents returned, they started searching for them. When the search was futile, somebody decided to check the car, and the children were there, dead.”
Punch METRO gathered that the incident threw the whole neighbourhood into mourning. The publication was told that the corpses were kept till the following morning, after which they were buried.
A police source said the police in the Rigasa area got wind of the incident on Friday and stormed the area.
He said:
“The families did not report to the police for reasons best known to them. By the time the police got to the place on Friday, the residents had already prepared the corpses for burial. The whole community was in tears. The children were buried that day in accordance with Islamic rites.”
The Police Public Relations Officer, Kaduna State, Zubairu Abubakar, confirmed the incident, adding that the police had started investigations.
He said:
“The incident happened on Thursday, but we learnt about it on Friday, April 29, 2016. The lifeless bodies of the four children were traced to a Honda Civic car parked in the compound. Investigation is in progress.”
