Undergraduates Murder US Based Lady | Dump Her Corpse By Roadside. (Photo)

Undergraduates murder

Two undergraduates of the Ebonyi State University, 26-year-old James Okoh and Victor Uchenna Okefie, 27, who had been at large, allegedly conspired to murder, Mrs. Stella Uhuo, a US-based lady who was visiting home on vacation.

Prior to the dastardly act Ohuo had been a benefactor to Okoh, a final year Sociology student of the university, who hails from Amata in Afikpo North Local Government Area, Ebonyi State. She asked members of her family to come to the airport to receive her.

She was said to have intimated Okoh about her planned visit and requested him to come to the airport so that he could take her to Abakaliki to deliver some luggage given to her by some friends in the United States for onward delivery to their families.

On the fateful day, November 14, 2015, the Commissioner of Police, Mr. Nwodibo Ekechukwu, told Sunday Sun that the family of the deceased joyfully turned out at the airport to receive her. Okoh also came with his friend in a Volvo car.

Her personal luggage were put in the car brought by family, while the ones she wanted to take to Abakaliki were loaded into the boot of the Volvo car with registration number Lagos EKY 855 CY. After the exchange of pleasantries, the family left while Ohuo, Okoh and Okefie headed to Abakaliki. The time was about 10.00am.

Okefie sat at the back of the car while Okoh drove with Ohuo sitting in front, completely at peace, unknown to her that they had a heinous plan. Along the way, Okoh diverted off the busy Enugu-Abakaliki road, to a side road away from passing cars. From the back, Okefie lunged forward, grabbed Ohuo by the neck with a choking hold while Okoh viciously hit her on the head.

Then Okefie strangled her. When her legs ceased kicking as life ebbed out and her heart stopped beating, the duo, still acting out their carefully scripted evil plan, calmly searched her and took all the money she had in dollars and her iPad.

When the Publication spoke with the suspects in custody, Okoh recounted what transpired after the woman died. He said:

“We dumped her corpse along Enugu/Abakaliki express road, on the Enugu State side. We took her dollars and luggage including ipad and broke the SIM cards of her phones. We ran to my hostel at Ebonyi State University and later went to Sabongari in Abakaliki to change the dollars to Naira and got over N850,000. We burnt the clothes of the deceased, and shared all the male clothes we saw in the luggage.”

The following day, after waiting for long and not receiving any call from Ohuo, her brother became troubled and went to the police to file a missing person report. At the time of the incident, Mr. Mohammed Adamu, was the police commissioner. Soon after he handed over to Ekechukwu, who assumed duty at the Command.

Soon after he received the case file, Ekechukwu directed detectives attached to Anti-Kidnapping Squad to commence investigation. They promptly arrested Okoh on January 29, 2016 at his hostel at the Ebonyi State University while Okefie was traced to his parent’s house at Ajaokuta in Kogi State on January 31, 2016. In the course of interrogation they confessed to the crime, and gave graphic details of how they did it.

Upon receiving news that the duo had been arrested, Ohuo’s family members stormed the headquarters of AKS, to identify them as the two people who were last seen with their sister before her death. They were shocked that Okoh who their sister had helped immensely could have been the person to tragically end her life. They wailed and were unable to control their emotions.

Meanwhile the corpse of Ohuo has been in the mortuary since November 14, when it was picked up from the roadside. Ekechukwu assured that the suspects would be charged to court soon after the conclusion of investigation.

“Mad Man” Apprehended With 22 ATM Cards, Phones. (Photo)

Lanrewaju-Jaiyeola

A said ‘mad man’, identified as Lanrewaju Jaiyeola, has been apprehended with 22 Automated Teller Machine cards, two mobile phones and a power bank.

The police disclosed that they were not convinced that Jaiyeola was actually mad, adding that initially, he was lucid before he started talking illogically.

It was gathered that Jaiyeola, 39, was intercepted by the RRS operatives with a backpack on Ozumba Mbadiwe Road, Vitoria Island, Lagos. One of the RRS men, who declined identification, said:

“When we sighted him, he appeared like a mentally-ill man, but we invited him for interrogation. He responded normally to all our enquiries.
“A few minutes into the interrogation, he started straying from the normal course of our enquiries and was not making sense at all. This raised further curiosity and we decided to search his backpack.“Inside the backpack, we found 22 ATM cards, one Nokia phone, a BlackBerry, a power bank, several bank tellers of recent bank transactions, and lots of invoices hidden in pieces of papers.”

It was learnt that eight of the credit cards were still valid, and they had different names and banks. The officers took him to their base in Alausa, Ikeja.

A policeman at the base said that the suspect made “statements suggestive of somebody disguising as a mad man to perpetrate crime”.

He said:

“Initially, we noticed that he was mentally balanced because he was answering the questions posed to him adequately. But all of a sudden, he started sounding incoherent and illogical again.
“While interrogating him, he threatened the Investigating Police Officer, saying, ‘I will make life unbearable for you if you don’t let me go’.
“It was at this point we realised that possibly he might be enjoying the patronage of some highly-placed people whom we believe he was working for.”

The police said the suspect was on their watch-list for about two weeks before he was arrested.

Love! Rukky Sanda Donates And Installs Fans In Entire Ward In LUTH. (Photos)

Rukky Sanda Val

Well, how inspiring is this? It’s certainly the best way to spend Valentine!

Beautiful Nollywood actress, Rukky Sanda had her Valentine’s day in quite an inspiring way. She paid a visit to the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) and donated and installed fans in a whole ward.

See what she wrote below:

I want to give a big shout out to these beautiful amazing doctors & Nurses at the D2 children’s ward in LUTH and every other amazing doctor/nurse/individual that has dedicated their lives towards saving lives, esp the those working in the govt* teaching hospitals… Wow! What more can I say? May God bless ur hearts and fill ur homes with joy, favor, happiness & bliss cos it’s not easy doing what they do and for that reason I applaud them greatly. It’s funny last Tuesday for some reason my niece was sent there from a private hospital (she’s perfectly fine now by d way) so I had to visit her & spent an hour there which made me a lil sick for d past couple of days… No ventilation, ppl had to buy their own personal table fans upon admission. …

Something had to be done & I decided to donate and install fans to d whole ward which I did today in addition to getting toys & activity books for d kids & gift hampers for Ds beautiful nurses & doctors working in such harsh & uncomfortable conditions… Ok this is getting long & I’m tired of typing Ds story. Bottom line is the ward I visited is just a tiny little fraction of the general children’s ward* Tz 4 floors and I did one. That building is only a tiny little part of LUTH and LUTH is only a tiny little part of the rest of the govt hospitals in Lagos let alone d country.

Rukky Sanda Val1

I did the little I could today and it’s definitely in my top priorities to do more every single time I can but together we can achieve greater things. The little u give and do goes a long way. It’s high time we stop yelling govt*** cos if it’s by our voices being heard a lot of things should be in order by now in this country. It’s time we as individuals, not only celebrities it’s time we all start to lend a helping hand and together we will achieve #Greatness. God bless u guys, happy14th.

“I am Destined To Be A Pastor, Kidnapping Is A Temporary Job” – Arrested Criminal Confesses

NIGERIA 1

From where he sat among his co-suspects, 33-year-old Ugochukwu Mbah’s expression portrayed him as very remorseful. According to him, if he had not ignored his conscience, he would have quit kidnapping before his arrest.

But now, Mr Mbah and four other suspects – Kenneth Levi, 32; Onyema Uzodinma, 31; Udochukwu Nwanguma, 37 and Nduka Nwankwo, 25, – are in police net.

They were said to have confessed to a series of kidnapping within Imo and Abia states. They were arrested by the Inspector-General of Police Special Intelligence Response Team led by CSP Abba Kyari.

Speaking to journalists after his arrest, Mr Mbah, a father of one, who hails from Mbaise in Imo State, hinged his foray into kidnapping on frustration, saying his previous ventures yielded no result. He said he had to take part in kidnapping on his friend’s suggestion.

He said as the only son of his father, who had three wives and 15 children, he faced many family problems. According to him, he was even forced to travel to Angola in 2012 in search of greener pastures after which he was deported.

Mbah said, “They said that I do not have up to N1m in my account. They said if I did not have enough money that I was likely going to commit crime. It was the Igbo community that conspired against me. I genuinely wanted to do business there but they refused. Back in Nigeria, I was broke and since all my efforts to live a good life were frustrated, I decided to survive by any possible means.

“The only person who gave me accommodation when I came back home was Richard (now in prison) and he was the one who brought me to Owerri. He told me what he was doing for a living and the need to return to Owerri for full time kidnapping. He introduced me to Nduka as a capable hand. I assisted them to raise money to buy enough equipment (guns) needed for the job.”

Having sold some stolen cars and got involved in many kidnapping operations, Mbah said he graduated from selling stolen cars to full time kidnapping.

He said in his statement that his first job was the kidnapping of a female teacher who was driving a Toyota Highlander. He said they were able to collect N17,000 from her while he drove the SUV to Abia State where he sold the car for N300,000. Mbah said the woman’s husband was a pensioner, who could not pay the ransom because he had not been paid by the state government.

Speaking about his last operation during which they made N1m from a Nigerian kidnap victim based in South Africa, Mbah said, “On January 7, 2016 when we were patrolling MCC Road, close to Toronto roundabout in Owerri, we spotted the man driving an exotic car. We kidnapped him. After many days of negotiation, his family paid the ransom of N1m.”

On what led to his arrest, Mbah recalled that a phone call from Richard was the beginning of his doom. He said Richard had called to inform him of an operation but he refused to pick the call because he was praying.

He continued, “I realised that God allowed Richard to call while I was praying with my family to use that to warn me to stop crime. I am destined to be a pastor; it’s just that I have not accepted my calling. Kidnapping was just a temporary job for me. Now, I preach to my co-inmates. Some of them have even given their lives to Christ.”

On his part, Nwankwo said he used to sell second-hand clothes in Aba before he was introduced to the kidnapping trade. He also explained that he told his initiators he was ready to do anything to make money and save himself from poverty. “After we kidnapped the South Africa-based man, I was just living my life when police came and raided our area. They found me with cocaine. I called Ugochukwu from police cell not knowing that they had arrested him,” he added.

Meanwhile, the victim of the kidnap, Victor Ogadinma, said he was in Nigeria during the Christmas period to see his family.

He said, “I was in the front of my house waiting for my family members to open the gate, when three heavily armed men accosted me and forced me out of the car to the back seat. It was around 7.30pm, and my wife came out while they were struggling to push me into the car but they pushed her down.

“I told them I had N220,000 and $2,000 and some European currencies. I was picked on January 7 and released January 10. They offered me food but I chose to drink only water.”

The suspect whose house was used to shield the victim, Nwanguma, said he kept the victim in his mother’s kitchen because she was not around.

He said out of the N70,000 he was given, he gave his brother N50, 000 and gave his wife N10,000.

“I pray that government should forgive me because of my children,” Nwankwo said.

Police source says efforts are on to nab the remaining members of the group who are on the run.

“She Was 16! She Is My First Love” – Paul And Anita Okoye Share Their Love Story.

Paul Okoye Steps Out

Paul Okoye Steps Out

Paul Okoye, of the twin music sensation, P-Square and his wife, Anita, in a new interview, share their ador1able love story.

While he calls his wife, “Hani”, she calls him “Bulus”. They reveal quite a lot in their new interview though.

Read excerpts below:

How did you meet your wife?

Paul: We met at the University of Abuja. I was a final year student and she was a freshman. I had a crush on a certain girl who I was supposed to meet with. But, when I called her, she told me she was at a friend’s place and invited me over. When I got there, I met Anita who was also visiting and somehow, I managed to get her telephone number. Everything changed from that moment.

How did the relationship develop?

Paul: I travelled to Lagos that day and while I was there, I constantly pestered her with telephone calls. I paid Anita a visit when I returned to Abuja, but she did not even let me into the house. The first Valentine’s Day gift I ever got her was a movie, which starred Genevieve Nnaji, because she was and is still a big fan of hers.

What qualities attracted you to each other?
Anita: I was blown away by his humility, kindness and genuine character. He is very funny and there is no airs and graces to him. He is an amazingly humble, reserved and compassionate man.
Paul: I have always liked light-skinned girls but aside from that, I have always desired an intelligent lady to complement me. She is very proactive and has the ability to produce fantastic results from simple ideas.
How long have you known each other?
Paul: We have been together for about 11 years and still counting.
Anita: Paul and I have known each other since I was 16 years old and we began dating when I was 18. I am married to my best friend and I know him much more than he knows himself and vice versa. It is such a fun-filled marriage and our son is a big blessing.
How did he propose marriage to you?
Anita: Paul took me to a jewellery store and asked me to pick any diamond ring of my choice; there were 10 rings before me. I did, and right there he dropped on one knee and popped the question. It was sudden and such a spontaneous romantic gesture. I was completely floored and all I could do was cry.
Did you date other ladies before you proposed to her?
Paul: She is the only woman I have ever loved. We started off as friends before we became partners; I don’t consider us to be in a relationship and that is why I describe her as my partner and a very important part of my life.
Did any member of your families oppose your relationship?
Paul: Not really, but her dad did not show any enthusiasm the first time I met with him. He did not say anything relating to my looks but I knew he was not happy that I had dreadlocks on and wore earrings. I had already established a relationship with her mum because she always visited while Anita was in school. Today, we have become really close.

Is there anything you wish you did better at the outset of your relationship?
Paul: I wish I was rich when I was in the university. She did quite a lot for me while I was in the university and that is one of the reasons I do all the things I do for her.
How did you adjust to life as a married woman?

Anita:There wasn’t much of an adjustment really. We have always been inseparable and that helped to solidify our relationship.

Do you have access to each other’s phone and social media accounts?
Paul: We have our phones and I do not know what she does on social media. Mistrust is one the reasons marriages break down. She answers my telephone only when I ask her to and not at her discretion.

What would you like to change about your husband?
Anita: I don’t think there is anything I want to change about my husband. He is a wonderful father and husband. No matter the flaws he has (that is if he has any, as I can’t think of one), that is what makes him Paul Okoye.

How do you spend time together as a couple?
Paul: We have regular lunch dates, especially after church on Sundays. We always spend time together when I am not in the studio or on tour. We also like to travel during festive seasons. Sometimes, my wife and son travel with my brother’s family, so that Peter and I can work.

What hobbies do you have in common?

Paul: I sing and she does not. I play musical instruments and she does not. However, she has her way with food and cooking. We have different preferences when it comes to food.
Anita: We are quite an active couple. We love sports, riding bicycles, beach volleyball, running around with our son, niece and nephew and generally just goofing around. We also love watching CNN, Comedy Central and crime channels together.
Do you operate a joint bank account?
Paul: We have our separate accounts, including my son but my wife is aware of very single transaction that takes place in these accounts. However, I remit a certain amount to her every month.
Do you get jealous of her male admirers?
Paul: It is normal. Sometimes, when we go to the club, some guys try to woo her and I have a way of warding them off just with a stare. But that shows she is beautiful. No one will approach you if you are not beautiful. My wife has her fans and she knows I have more fans than she does.
Why do you think most celebrity marriages break up?
Paul: To understand the reason, you must understand the woman’s reason for getting married to a celebrity. People must be aware of the consequences of getting married to a celebrity, so they have to face it. Some celebrity marriages do not last because the spouses try to take the career away from their celebrity spouse. There are things I do that get my wife angry but all I do at times like that is apologise to her and talk things over. Marriage is a sacrifice and you have to prepare for it.
What are the major reasons why you both disagree?
Anita: We have very different views when it comes to fashion, style and interior decoration.
How do you make up after a misunderstanding?
Paul: I always apologise first, whether I am wrong or not. I do not like to keep malice. I would rather leave the scene of a heated argument than continue talking and end up bitter. I would return to talk things over, when the environment is calm.
Anita: We usually laugh it off, but because I trained as a lawyer, I always want to make some very valid points.

What pet names do you call each other?
Anita: It is for our ears only.

Paul: She calls me Bulus and I have asked her to stop it. I call her Hani‑— a fusion of Honey and Anita.
How do you manage the fame and attention that comes with your current status?
Anita: For a very long time, I tried to stay away from the media. Our engagement and wedding finally put a face to the name ‘Anita’. When people ask if I am P-Square’s wife, I just laugh and tell them I am Paul’s wife. At work, I’m a regular employee until my husband decides to surprise me during lunch and my colleagues go crazy and take several photographs. So far, I have managed being his wife very well. I have my little group of friends and still do everything I did before the P-Square ‘takeover.’
What does Valentine mean to you and how do you intend to celebrate the day?
Paul: For us, every day is Valentine’s Day because we never fail to express our love for each other every day. Today, I will simply reassure her of my unflinching love and support in more ways than one.

Kehinde: I worked with a company in Lagos. The firm produced house keys. I worked there for many years before I left. Before I joined the firm, I had worked with a company which produced metal pots. During this period, we had lost our parents.
Taiwo: We decided to learn some trades before working in companies. I worked at ICI Imperial Chemical Industry in Apapa, Lagos. I was there for some years before I left the place in 1972. When I left the place, I ventured into buying and selling of household products.
Were the two of you married at the time?

Kehinde: It was Taiwo who married first. I was still busy trying to save money to cater for my needs and get ready for marital life when he got married.

Taiwo: Yes, it is true. I got married in 1964 and he married two years after.
Did you at anytime want to be married at the same time?

Kehinde: No, there was no time we planned for that.

Taiwo: We did not. It is our desire to do things when they suit each of us.

Were your wives able to identify you separately during courtship?

Kehinde: We had no time to bring our women together or for them to be close to each other, till we got married to them.

Taiwo: We did not live in the same area at the time we got married. I saw the person I married in the Bariga area of Lagos State when I was staying there. Kehinde saw the person he married in Agege, Lagos, when he was living in the area. I must add that when our wives started relating, they were initially unable to differentiate between ’June and July,’ I mean between the two of us. Later, it was easy for them to identify us after marriage since they have been familiar with us individually.

What are the things you share or do together?

Kehinde: When we were young we used to wear same clothes. But when we became adults, we only wear same clothes when we have to attend some social functions.
Taiwo: During our school days, we wore similar clothes and shared many things together. Our teachers and school mates liked to tease us by calling us twins. That often made us swollen headed.
Since you are identical, did you ever experience any case of anybody mistaking one for the other?

Kehinde: Yes, we had such an experience. One of my bosses in a company I once worked mistook Taiwo for me.

Taiwo: What happened was this. I was driving a cab sometime in the past. One day, one of Kehinde’s bosses was among the passengers in the vehicle but I did not know him. When others paid, he refused to pay but asked me if I did not recognise him. Since I did not know him, I insisted on him paying me. He did not want to pay but I stood my ground. He eventually paid and left in annoyance. When he got to the office, I learnt he went to report Kehinde to the general manager that he was engaging in private work besides the office duties. Kehinde was surprised by the accusation and said he was not into such practice and the man narrated what happened in the morning of that day. That was when he told them that he is a twin and they asked him to bring me to convince them. The man and the general manager were surprised when they saw me. His boss was not even able to differentiate between us when I eventually came. They had concluded to sack him but for the fact that we are twins.

Who is gentler between the two of you because Kehinde appears reserved?
Kehinde: I only know that we have some different habits. Sometimes, we agree on some issues and make same decisions. I do not like cracking jokes or making jest with people outside. But Taiwo likes doing that. I do not take offence with him on that because even though we were born same day, our characters cannot be the same.
Taiwo: I like cracking jokes but Kehinde does not play too much outside. I enjoy discussing politics especially current issues. I always speak my mind on politicians who are doing well for the people and those who have failed them.

Do people often get attracted to you to the extent of giving you preferential treatment?

Kehinde: We get favours from a lot of people. Many look at us with admiration when we go out especially when they know our ages. We are not new to compliments and special treatment from people particularly when we visit a place and stay there for some time.
Taiwo: I recall a time we attended a social event and the celebrator started introducing us to some of the guests. Some of them came to where we sat to speak with us and they gave us gifts. Last year, we took a sick family member to the General Hospital in Ifako-Ijaiye area of Lagos State. The matron was very happy to see us and wanted to know if we are twins because, according to her, she also has twins. She prayed that her twins would live long like us and we prayed for them too.

Do you have preference for the same food?
Kehinde: I like pap and tea.
Taiwo: It is not only Kehinde that likes pap. I also take it and enjoy Quaker oats too. I like solid food such as eba.
What favourite drink does each person prefer?

Kehinde: I used to take beer when I was young but I prefer taking stout now. I take a bottle a day. I do not take it in excess.
Taiwo: It is the same with me. I enjoy taking beer. I drink in moderation like Kehinde. I have been taking it since 10 years ago.

Don’t your children complain about your consumption of beer?
Kehinde: They would not want to stop us since they know that we do not take it in excess.

Taiwo: Our children do not complain that we take beer. Besides, if we attend any social event and we are served the drink, we do not take more than one bottle each.
Do you have children who are twins?
Both: No
Do any of them have twins?

Kehinde: No, none of our children has twins. We really would have loved to have them give birth to twins.
Taiwo: For now, there are no twins among our grandchildren. But maybe one of our children will give birth to twins tomorrow. We cannot say, probably, they may come from one of our grandchildren.
Are you surprised that there are no twins among your grandchildren?

Kehinde: I am not. God is the one who knows why it is so.
Taiwo: I think about that, it is God who has the final decision. He decides what pleases Him.

How close are your children?

Kehinde: They are very close because they know that their fathers are also very close as twins. I have seven children— four boys and two girls.
Taiwo: Yes, Kehinde is right. Our children and their wives are very close. I have five surviving children—four girls and a boy.

How do you relax?
Kehinde: I relax by sleeping. I was relaxing when Taiwo came to wake me up that you were around for the interview. That is my own way of relaxation. I have a siesta every day.

Taiwo: I relax by taking a nap after a shower. I also like watching television but not for long because I will start dozing off when I watch it for more than an hour.

Do you exercise?

Kehinde: Yes, I take a walk within the vicinity of our area.

Taiwo: I take a walk too but I also jog to keep fit. We do not take a walk or jog together because whenever I want to engage in exercises, Kehinde may be busy with another thing.

Where are your wives?

Kehinde: They live with us.

Taiwo: We live together in the same house since we built the house.
Do you live in the same house?

Kehinde: Yes we do.

Taiwo: That is the truth.

Whose idea was it that you should live together?
Kehinde: It was the idea of both of us. We built the house (of about 10 rooms) together. Some of the children were born in the places we were living before completing the house. Others were also born in this place. We have been living together since we built the house.
Taiwo: It was someone close to us who told us about a vacant land many years ago. We showed interest in it and contributed money to buy it. We also decided that each of us could buy land elsewhere to build whatever the person desires after we had completed the house.
Was there anytime you had disagreements over it for any reason?
Kehinde: There was no time we had such disagreement because we are very close.
Taiwo: Just as Kehinde said, there was nothing like that at any time. After we completed the house, other housing projects we did were carried out separately.
Tell us your experience of the civil war.

Kehinde: We only heard of how the Biafran and the Nigerian soldiers fought at the time.
Taiwo: We did not have any direct experience of the war. We were in the South-West when the war was going on.
Did you both know that you would live long?

Kehinde: In our family, people live long. That is the reason we knew that we would be old.
Taiwo: Our mother lived for 107 years before she died. Our father was over 80 before his death. We knew that we would live long. We knew that we would not die young.
Since you are close, would you wish to die same day?

Kehinde: We do not know when we are going to die, so we cannot decide whether we want to die same day.
Taiwo: I think that is for God to decide.
Do you buy things for each other?

Kehinde: Our children ensure that they do the same things for us. During any festive period, they buy the same clothing material for us. They did same during our 80th birthday celebration.
Taiwo: It is our children who do that. Whenever any of our children goes anywhere and buys anything for one of us, the child will make sure he or she buys same thing for the other. For example, if Kehinde’s child sees anything and buys for him, the child will also buy for me too. If that thing is only one, he or she will rather not buy it. They care so much for us.
What advice do you have for younger ones?

Kehinde: Younger ones should make a good use of any opportunity that comes their way. It will be a good thing for them to know that any chance they make use of wisely today will be of immense benefit to them in future.

Taiwo: They should be patient in life and walk on the path of honour.
What differences have you both noticed during your time and now?
Kehinde: There were many companies in Ikeja during our time but the firms have either folded up or relocated to another country today.
Taiwo: Things were easy in the past. Youths got jobs they preferred during our time. They had opportunities to choose where to work. Adults like us were adequately catered for. But that is not the situation now. Things have changed. Nobody cares for the elderly nowadays. The little education we had was through the free education policy of Chief Obafemi Awolowo in the defunct Western Region.
What are your regrets?
Kehinde: I have no regrets.
Taiwo: I also have no regrets. We are happy with what God has done for us. We have good children and we are surrounded by grandchildren. We have peace of mind.
What is the secret of the good health you both have at 82?

Kehinde: It is God. It is not by any food or drink.
Taiwo: I think it is because we also refrain from unhealthy habits even when we were still young. We shunned bad habits from childhood.

Whose decision always rules during arguments?

Kehinde: It is Taiwo’s. Like they say, ‘We can be equally born and not be equally talented.’ When we argue on any matter, I allow his submission to rule.
Taiwo: I do not accept it when I know that I am being led to a path I do not like. I know I like arguments.

Do you go to the hospital?

Kehinde: Yes, I do, but only for a regular checkup and nothing else.

Taiwo: That is what I also go to the hospital to do.
What do the two of you do now?

Kehinde: We have a farmland which we cultivate.

Taiwo: We plant seasonal crops which we know are in high demand..

“Only Children Celebrate Valentine” – Essence.

Essence-Kennis-Music

Heavyweight classic songstress, Essence from Kennis Music, in a recent interview, when asked how she’ll be spending her valentine day, said:

“I will be in church that day loving my God. I’m not a loving-for-one-day kind of person. Anybody that only loves me for one day doesn’t truly love me. I don’t believe in this idea of wearing red on one day and eating lots of cake and chocolate in the name of celebrating love. I’m a grown woman; only children wait for a particular day to celebrate love.”

“I Will Love And Prayerfully Grow With Kanye” – Kirk Franklin’s Message To Critics Over His Collaboration With Kanye West.

Kirk and Kanye

Well known foreign gospel singer, Kirk Franklin has reacted to critics following his latest collaboration with Kanye West, off Kanye‘s new album.

The religious community and some fans of Kirk feels Kanye is not spiritually sound to collaborate with him. The track is on the yet to be released “The Life Of Pablo” album.

He wrote:

Kanye is not me. I am not him. He is my brother I am proud to do life with. No sprints, but Marathons; like most of us are on. Before one song was released, I was crucified because my brother asked me to take a picture. Again “no Kanye, you’re not good enough”? No. That is a dangerous message I believe we send to the world when our posture is they have to meet certain requirements before they are worthy to kiss the ring. It says people are not redeemable, forgivable or candidates for grace.

That my friend is religious. I will not turn my back on my brother. I will love him, prayerfully grow with him. However long he’ll have me, and however long the race takes. To a lot of my Christian family, I’m sorry he’s not good enough, Christian enough, or running at your pace…and as I read some of your comments, neither am I. That won’t stop me from running. Pray we win.

Although, a handful of his fans are still not happy about it…

LASU Female Student Dies, Another Unconscious After Party.

Sweetening alcohol

The 2016 Annual Award Night of the students of the Department of History, Lagos State University, turned tragic as a female student died while another one became unconscious after taking a mixture of different alcoholic drinks.

The two students, identified as Lara Gbadeyan and Oladipupo Arofeso, Sunday Tribune gathered, were both rushed to Igando General Hospital, where Gbadeyan was confirmed dead and Arofeso unconscious.

According to Sunday Tribune, the deceased and the unconscious student had gone with their colleagues in the department to Igando, where the event took place.

Some of their colleagues told the police in the state that the duo took a mixture of Magic Moment (vodka), Elliot, Orijin and Smirnoff Ice at the event.

The two students were said to have started misbehaving “until some of their colleagues came to their senses that it was the effect of the alcohol on them.”

The misbehaviour from the two female students created confusion among their colleagues, who made frantic efforts to revive them, Sunday Tribune gathered.

But the situation reportedly became more serious as the two female students became unconscious, leading to their colleagues to rush them to the General Hospital in Igando.

A source at the Igando Divisional police station confirmed the incident to Sunday Tribune, noting that investigations had commenced on the incident.

The police source also told Sunday Tribune that the remains of the deceased student had been deposited at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) for autopsy.

He also added that the other student had remained at the Igando General Hospital, where she was receiving attention from health workers.

The ex-staunch Muslim, in an open confession in Redeemed Christian Church of God admitted that he is now a full proud Christian.
