Beautiful Nigerian RnB female sensation, WAJE shared her very motivational experience with foreign singer, Lauren Hill at her Lagos concert last night.
Just before the show started a beautiful lady walked up to me telling me how much she loved my music, in her words “we ve been playing you songs in philly ” , this sister sang the chorus of No Be You and I was blown away by her voice, soon I realized she was Lauryns back up singer. My life changed last night. I cried when Lauryn was performing and thinking,in my life time I see woman wey I use her songs learn work!!!!! She killed it! She gave me music life! So I got home and next thing my phone rings “waje Lauryn wants to meet u? I ran back like I was going to collect the certificate that validates the school of music life I have been in since, she took my hand and I cried all thru…… I’m so sure I embarrassed her but i had to tell her how grateful I am. Thank you Lauryn for music… Long story short, do your own with diligence and authenticity and you will save lives, inspire people to reach their goals as she inspired many singers and musicians. I’m so honored. Shout out to my sis @jbeautifull”
Lol… Some people were like, “it was at that moment, she realized she was a lesbian for a while”. Lol. Photos from the first time Kris Jenner met with her ex-husband turned woman, Caitlyn Jenner has emerged after a trailer of the E! TV series “I am cait”, was uploaded.
During the shoot of the series, Caitlyn revealed that ‘her’ marriage break down with Kris had more to do with the way Kris treated her throughout their relationship and that’s what she couldn’t hold onto anymore.
Before they met Caityln said:
“Kris and I haven’t talked in months. She hasn’t called me in a year.“Twenty per cent was gender and 80 per cent was the way I was treated,She had her own money, she didn’t need me as much from that standpoint. The relationship was different.
“I think in a lot of ways she became less tolerant of me. Then I’d get upset and the whole relationship kind of fizzled,” she added.

Former Governor of Akwa Ibom State, who now happens to be the Senate Minority Leader, Godswill Akpabio, escaped death this Monday morning after his vehicle got involved in an accident along the Airport Road in Abuja.
It was learnt that the accident occurred near the Bolingo Junction close to the Ship House, Abuja.
A witness who spoke to PREMIUM TIMES, said Mr. Akpabio was moving in a convoy of vehicles towards the City Gate when his vehicle ran into another car.
“My wife and I were coming from the NNPC Mega Station and we stopped at the traffic light by Bolingo Hotel Junction. When the green light showed and we made to move, there was this siren blaring Mercedes Benz jeep that came from the town and almost crashed onto my car. I don’t know how we dodged but another that was behind the jeep hit the car behind me and tumbled on its side.
“I and my wife rushed out of our vehicle and helped the driver bring out his boss. When we brought him out, we found that it was former governor Godswill Akpabio.
“At the time we brought him out, the siren was still blaring. We put him in the other vehicle and he was rushed to the National Hospital.”
The witness said Mr. Akpabio was badly shaken and was in a traumatic condition when he was brought out of the crashed vehicle.
He said the former governor was apparently rushing out of the city when his convoy beat the traffic and crashed.
When PREMIUM TIMES arrived at the National Hospital two hours after Mr. Akpabio was admitted at the hospital, a security official said the former governor was at the National Trauma Center.
The source however noted that Mr. Akpabio was later moved to a private section of the hospital for X-ray and other investigations.
At about 10am, the publication met with the driver to the former governor, simply called David who confirmed the accident.
Mr. David said his boss was in stable condition but declined to say how the accident happened. He wore a black jeans trouser with a white stripped shirt.
28-year-old Guvnor Ace (born Ronald Samawere) who had earlier been accused of ‘dating an ancestor’ got married to 68-year-old Lisa Johnson on August 20 in a civil ceremony held at the Uganda Registration Service Bureau in Kampala before friends and family members.
Speaking to Uganda’s WBS TV on why he married his wife, the Ugandan dance-hall artiste said that young girls are a financial liability and some are not genuine.
“I have no regrets, because these young girls will ask for airtime and on sending it, they will not even call you, all they do is to beep. All they do is beg!” he said
On how he met his wife, Lisa Johnson he revealed,
“I shared my Gutujja video in 2014 on my wall and this was Lisa’s comment, ‘I like the way he sings though I don’t know what he’s singing about.’ It was then that I sent her a Facebook request.”
Debunking claims that he married his wife because of money, he said,
“We’ve been chatting for close to eleven months, so I don’t get it when people say that I’m in it for money. They call her a pensioner but as far as I’m concerned, she is still working and earning.”
On what he love about his new wife, he said
“Last December, she opted to come to Uganda to celebrate Christmas with me and since then, we’ve been inseparable. Lisa likes me the way I am and she likes my music too, otherwise someone else would want you to remove your dreads and give up on music just to be with them.”

Kanye West was honored in a big way during Sunday night’s MTV Video Music Awards by receiving the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, an accolade previously awarded to superstars like Beyoncé, Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, Madonna and The Beatles throughout the show’s more than 20-year tenure.
He accepted the prestigious award but not without a 13minute acceptance speech that blew any previous Kanye moments way out of the water.
Prior to Yeezy taking the stage, Taylor Swift talked about the infamous 2009 VMAs Best Female Video debacle that pinned the two hit makers against each other for years to follow.
Taylor said any feud between the two was laid to rest long ago, admitting that Kanye’s 2004 College Dropout was the first album she bought on iTunes.
“I’m really happy for you and Imma let you finish but Kanye has had one of the greatest careers of all time,” Swift playfully joked as the honoree prepared to deliver his speech.
As the crowd chanted his name, West looked visibly overwhelmed before recanting his numerous regrets surrounding the career-polarizing move.
“If I had to do it all over again, what would I have done? Would I have worn a leather shirt? Would I have drank half a bottle of Hennessy and gave the rest of it to the audience…? If I had a daughter at that time would I have gone on stage and grabbed the mic from someone else’s?” he asked.
West also acknowledged the backlash he has felt throughout his outspoken career: “The contradiction is, I do fight for artists, but in that fight I somehow was disrespectful to artists. I didn’t know how to say the right thing, the perfect thing,” adding, “Sometimes I feel like I died for the artists’ opinion, for the artist to be able to have an opinion after they were successful.”
And to top it all off, looks like our great nation might be looking “West” for the 2020 presidential election. Yes, that’s right. Kanye announced he’s running for president.

Nicki Minaj confronted MTV Video Music Awards host Miley Cyrus during the awards ceremony in Los Angeles on Sunday night while accepting the award for best hip-hop video.
While accepting the award for Best Hip-Hop video, Nicki Minaj made it a point to call out the emcee of the event in Los Angeles for some comments she had made just days later.
The 32-year-old rapper hit out at Miley toward the end of her speech as she said: ‘And now back to this b**** that had a lot to say to me in the press. What’s good?’
22-year-old Miley who was standing on a different platform on-stage replied by saying: ‘We are all in this industry, we all do interviews and we all know how to manipulate. Nicki congratulations.’
Nicki was referring to Miley’s recent interview with the New York Times newspaper where the host commented on Nicki’s recent social media beef as she said: ‘What I read sounded very Nicki Minaj, which, if you know Nicki Minaj is not too kind. It’s not very polite.
‘I think there’s a way you speak to people with openness and love,’ she said.
‘You don’t have to start this pop star against pop star war. It became Nicki Minaj and Taylor in a fight, so now the story isn’t even on what you wanted it to be about.’

Popular Nollywood actor, Nkem Owoh, also known as Osuofia, on Friday urged the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration to formulate policies that would make the Nigerian film industry to contribute to the nation’s economic development.
Osuofia told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that the country’s movie industry was capable of contributing more to the nation’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) if given the necessary support than it was currently doing.
NAN reports that Nollywood, as the Nigerian film industry is christened, is said to be worth about three billion dollars annually, better than Hollywood by volume, and right behind India’s Bollywood.
The actor added that lack of adequate government attention, especially in the fight against piracy, had limited the industry’s contributory potential.
He said:
“I will want the three tiers of government to put their viewfinders toward Nollywood since they have recognised that Nollywood helps in the per capita income of the country.
“I feel that they are not paying enough attention to the movie industry.
“So, them give us policies that will make this industry stand and defend this country.”
Owoh, however, expressed the satisfaction that the industry was living up to its billing.
” I feel the movie industry is thriving and we are contributing our quota to the economic advancement of the country which makes me very, very happy.
“Since we are not relegated to the background, we will continue to strive harder in the development of the country in general.
“So I am happy to be a member of the Nollywood and see the improvement in Nollywood for now.”
Osuofia said that the industry had improved in the qualities of movies produced by its members with their foreign partners.
This, he attributed to what he called ‘Global Village’ phenomenon and access to the internet.
“When they say it (the world) is a global village; you expect people of common interests from the different countries of the world to come together.
“And with the help of internet, we have been moving together and the synergy has been very encouraging,” he said
Chelsea footballer, John Obi Mikel is alleged to be secretly fathering two children with different women, this truth is being revealed today, 30th of August, 2015.
The 28 year old midfielder is alleged to be dad to a four year old boy and a one year old girl after short relationships with the women.
He is understood to have bought a £500,000 house in 2013 in the Home Counties for his son and mum and is keen to play a part in the boy’s life.
A source told The Sun:
“John also agreed to give her tens of thousands a year in upkeep and, I think, agreed to give her a new car every three to five years.”
Mikel also financially supports his daughter, who was born after the couple met at a London nightclub in 2013. A friend of the daughter’s mum added:
“John has provided for her and the girl. She seems to have come into money since having the baby and is keeping a low profile.”
Mikel is now dating Russian businesswoman Olga Diyachenko and has posted pics of the pair together on social media. A spokesman for the footballer told The Sun:
“This is an entirely private matter.John provides for and cares for his children and will continue to do so. He asks that their privacy is respected.”
Precious Ihemine (20), a JSS 2 student from Abia State, claims that her boyfriend impregnated and abandoned her.
Ihemine is in police custody in Asaba, Delta State capital, where she is not finding it easy to free herself from police allegations of engaging in baby trafficking, following her arrest at the home of a polyethene packaging materials producer, John Mary Ihezue, who she claims is her employer.
Arrested with her is another 20-year old, Blessing Okafor, who was also impregnated by her lover in a certain village in Enugu State. Both pregnant 20-year-olds were nabbed with six other ladies and two boys, when the police stormed the home-cum-business premises of Ihezue, who the police accused of running a baby factory.
But the suspects have stoutly denied the allegation, stating that they were just working for Ihezue in his polythene factory and computer business, to earn legitimate income.
Narrating how her ordeal began, Okafor told Sunday Sun that her parents chased her out when she got pregnant. She further revealed that one of her friends brought her to Ihezue in Asaba, where she could work and earn income until the delivery of the baby.
“We work for Ihezue. He has a polyethene making machine and computer business. I got pregnant in my village. The boy responsible for the pregnancy ran away. It was his friend who told me that he went to Abuja. This is my first pregnancy,” she said.
On her part, Ihemine said her sister who resides in Asaba brought her to Ihezue, where she could stay, because her sister’s husband refused to allow her live with his nuclear family.
Her words:
“My sister is living in Asaba and when I got pregnant, she brought me to this man’s house because her husband refused to allow me stay with them. She asked me to stay with this man until I deliver the baby.
“The man who got me pregnant, Emeka, denied it and abandoned me. Nobody promised to pay me any money after delivering the baby. I have been in his house since March. I do not go for antenatal care and no doctor comes around for such care.
“He (Ihezue) cooks for me and I work for him. He promised to be paying me N15,000 every month as salary. He employed us and gave us accommodation,” she said.
The other suspects, Nkemjika Ihezue, Okeke Nmesoma, Chioma Oje and Nzube Chukwu, who also spoke with the publication, denied the allegation that they were engaged in baby trafficking. They insisted that they were just employees working for Ihezue in his polythene factory.
Nkemjika told the publication that she is related to Ihezue and works in his polyethene factory, adding that she was about to re-fuel the generator, when the police stormed the compound and arrested her.
Stoutly denying the allegation, Nkemjika said:
“I am not pregnant. The house is my brother’s house. The police arrested me in the house when I was re-fuelling the generator because the boys were not around. I am not making babies; I am 19 years old.
Also speaking in her own defence and debunking the accusation by the police, Okeke Nmesoma denied being pregnant or having any intention to get pregnant stressing that she only came to Asaba from Onitsha, where she resides, in response to an advertisement about a vacancy in the polyethene factory owned by Ihezue.
“I came to Asaba for employment in the polyethene business. I am not pregnant. I came to the house and saw the pregnant ladies there. Nobody directed me to the place, I came on my own. I saw a poster in Onitsha advertising for workers and I called the number and I was directed to Asaba. I live at Onitsha. I came to Asaba in July and got the appointment. At that time the machine broke down and they said they wanted to repair it, which has been done. The employment came with accommodation. I stay with my co-workers and I noticed that some of them happen to be pregnant,” Nmesoma said.
In the same vein, the two boys arrested with the ladies, Nwankwo Obum and Prince Okechukwu, accused of being responsible for impregnating the ladies denied the allegation, maintaining that they were just workers like their female counterparts.
Meanwhile, the man in the eye of the storm, Ihezue who hails from Ideato Local Government Area of Imo State, said he is a caregiver and a reverend brother in the Catholic Church.
He maintained that the polyethene business was his source of income, which he use to pay for the rented apartment where he and his workers live. He insisted that he was not operating an illegal business.
“We have started production of polyethene. We have been working; our only problem was that the machine broke down not too long ago. All the workers are new and we are just trying to re-start production. It is not true that we operate a factory where pregnant ladies come and deliver their babies, which are then sold; that is not true.
“I am a reverend brother in the Catholic Church. I am not married. As a brother, we are consecrated to God to give our lives wholly and entirely to God. I trained as a reverend brother at Ohum Monastery in Enugu. I was made a brother in1994,” he said.
Asked why he is not serving in any Catholic parish, hospital or school, the suspect said Rome gave him
“a sort of concession so that I can live alone and help people. I am somebody who is a care giver, I love helping people.I cannot boast about it, it is only God that I am serving who knows what is in my mind. I am not married and I am not insane. I know that the only thing that will take me to heaven is doing charitable work.
“I don’t think there is anything that can attract me in this world since I am not married. I am not operating anything illegal, it is my home where I am staying and I have a factory from where I generate money to pay the rent.”
He explained that the pregnant ladies came seeking for help and he decided to help them because of his philanthropic nature, adding:
“If they have nobody to help them, and I have the heart and willing to help, I think I can help them. For this one (pointing to one of the pregnant ladies) the sister brought her here because her husband could not accommodate her as a result of the pregnancy. She begged me to allow her stay here because they know I always help people. She brought her here for me to protect her.”
So if you’re a Twitter user or freak, like some of us are, you’d be aware of the trend in Lagos, “#WhenYouFinallyBlow”. A trend where Twitter users share their opinions on what will happen when they finally hit the Jackpot.
While some are being sarcastic and all, some are actually being serious and wisdom filled, like the CEO of Supreme Mavin Dynasty, Michael Collins popularly known as Don Jazzy, who shared wise words with the hash tag.
Francis Odega recently opened up that the viral “Gerara Here” video has brought him money and fame after it was uploaded by a friend on Instagram.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Punch, he said, “I am pleasantly surprised that just one scene from a movie, which I starred in three years ago, has suddenly brought me so much attention and fame.”
The three-part movie, titled Welcome to South, Back from South and Agony of South was shot in South Africa and Nigeria and starred Francis Odega alongside Imeh Bishop and Dede One Day.
“I don’t really know why it has taken the movie three years to garner this sort of recognition. I joined Instagram two months ago, after some social media-savvy friends of mine played the Gerara Here video, which was posted on Instagram for me. The number of comments that trailed the post blew me away and I decided to join the platform almost immediately. Within a month, I had 3000 followers and currently have 18,600 fans,” the actor said in respect to the sudden popularity of the video.
That the video went viral was just a huge part of a cake till American rapper 50 Cent put the icing when he reposted the video on his Instagram page.
According to Odega, “It was an indescribable feeling and I also felt honoured when he began following me on Instagram. Snoop Dogg also followed suit shortly after. Both artistes are obviously huge fans of mine. Don Jazzy, PSquare, Patoranking, M.I, Sound Sultan and many other Nigerian music stars also follow me on social media.”
The actor who had his debut role in 1996 also added that the instant fame the video has brought him has also translated into more money and jobs for him.
“…Etisalat recently made me its ambassador because of the attention I have been receiving. I recently had a photoshoot for the billboards and will shoot the television commercial for the brand very soon. The concept of the billboard adverts revolves around the ‘Gerara Here’ concept,” he said.
He also spoke on the support from his family, the love from his fans and the fact that God, Nkem Owoh and the late Sam Loco have inspired him greatly in a career that spans two decades.
More than a dozen of virgin girls and young women died as they traveled to the traditional festival where the King of Swaziland is known to pick a new bride from thousands of topless, dancing virgins.
This tragic accident, which happened along the MR3 Highway, Mahhala, involved two trucks, which were ferrying maidens and a sedan.
According to Times of Swaziland, at least 38 of them died when the open-topped truck collided with another vehicle, before being hit by a second truck as it traveled along a motorway between the Swazi cities of Mbabane and Manzini on Friday afternoon.
The girls were all taking part in the Swazi Reed Dance Festival, an annual event which sees tens of thousands of unmarried girls – or ‘maidens’ – perform for King Mswati III.
Last year, he plucked a 19-year-old virgin from the dancing maidens, who became his 14th wife.
Eye-witnesses reveal that traffic police officers pulled-over a Toyota van along the highway and that was when the first truck failed to avoid hitting the car as it smashed into the Toyota’s rear. This caused the pile up as the second truck crashed onto the truck which also had the excited maidens on board.
One of the maidens who survived the accident, in an interview with the Swazi News, confirmed the account of some of the witnesses.
“We were about 50 on board the first truck that smashed into the Toyota van and was crashed from the rear by the other truck which was driving behind ours,” Siphelele Sigudla (18) said.
Rights group The Swaziland Solidarity Network (SSN) has now called on the royal family to reconsider going ahead with the festival, which sees about 40,000 participating in the eight-day ceremony.
The girls and young women sing and dance, often bare-breasted, as they bring reeds to reinforce the windbreak around the royal residence, a government website said.
‘We hope that the families of the deceased girls will hold the royal family accountable for the deaths of their children,’ the group said in a statement, as it alleged a similar incident had been covered up previously.’The least that the royal family can do at this moment is to cancel this year’s reed dance.’
But the King has already sent his condolences.
‘We all have heard about the dark cloud that has befallen the ‘imbali,” he said, using the Swati language word for flower, used to refer to the groups of women dancers.
He promised that the affected families would be compensated.
Beautiful Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh, held her bride price payment ceremony, yesterday, 29th of August 2015 with Husband-to-be, Oladunni Olakunle Churchill in Port harcourt.
It’s apparent that the lovely actress, has now for real, found the bone of her bones and the rib of her ribs and we can do nothing but wish her happiness and hope that the union be as blissful as can be.
Congratulations to the gorgeous couple! See more photos below:
After premiering her latest movie, ‘Dark’ at Silverbird Cinemas on Saturday August 28th, Rukky Sanda spoke at length, career and other things at large.
With her fingers in a lot of pies, Rukky says she has multiple personalities that take care of all her businesses.
‘I’m an interior designer, scriptwriter, actress, director and producer, and I’ve been doing this for about 10 years now. I think I’m just different at different times. It’s a blessing actually.
I love writing and listening to stories. I also love being involved in every aspect of my movies; I can edit and do a couple of other things. I don’t like being ignorant about any part of movie production.’ She veered into movie production after appearing in only three movies, and we wanted to know why.
She answers, ‘For me, it was more of a business decision, because at that time, it wasn’t like actresses were being paid well. I’ve always been a business person, and I wanted to invest in the business aspect of Nollywood. I acted in my first movie in 2004, and I produced my first film in 2005.’
But did she actually make money from that movie? She smiles wryly in response, ‘As a matter of fact, I still have people owing me till date. Some of the people I worked with even went behind my back to mass dub and sell the movies.’
On the lessons she has learnt, she talks like someone who has walked through the valley of the shadow of death and survived. With a bold face she says, ‘In the beginning, it was more of a business decision to just make money, but now, I’ve grown into it, and I actually have a passion for the art of movie production; I just want to make a difference with my movies. Then, I had very little knowledge about production, but now, I’m more of a professional.’
Many would believe that she had a rich family member somewhere who ‘dashed’ her the money she used in producing her first movie, considering her inexperience at the time. She doesn’t agree with that assertion, and she wastes no time in countering it. In her words, ‘Before I got into Nollywood, I was already doing business.
I used to sell stuff, so I had my money to put into it, and my mum supported me with a loan. She collected her money back though, so there was no sentiment attached. I won’t say it was easy starting out because I spent about N3m in making my first movie, and that was quite a lot in 2005. I don’t actually get Executive Producers for my movies; I do that myself. Not like I don’t believe in going all out to source for funds, but it’s just not my thing. I had someone once who wanted to sponsor my movie, and we did that. But before the movie came out, they were already on my neck asking for their money. I had to return it to them after we finished filming; we had not even finished editing then. I told them I’ll give them their money back, but that they wouldn’t get any credit on the movie. Ever since, I only produce movies if it’s convenient for me.’
So we wouldn’t think she’s just guess-working her way to the top, she informs us that she has taken a directing course in Houston, USA, as well as a Visual Effects course, but she’s also quick to add that she’s still learning every day.
The tattoo-loving actress is known to be blunt and she speaks about that side of herself: ‘I believe in expressing myself; always stating my point, and sticking to what I believe in.
People may read different meanings to it, but at the end of the day, I can only be myself; I can’t try to be someone else, or back-up what I don’t believe in. I wasn’t brought up like that. It has brought me here so far, and I love me.’
But has being blunt ever got her into trouble? She enthuses, ‘I don’t get into trouble. If I say anything anywhere, I will stand by it. I’m not the kind of girl who believes in gossip, or idle chatter. If I have anything to say, I say it and move on. If you have any problem with it, come and tell me.’
On reports that she once claimed to be half-Ghanaian, Rukky sets the records straight. ‘I think that was when I went to Ghana for the first time, and I was with some colleagues. We were just messing around and I think Yvonne Nelson told me something in Ghana that could be translated to what I tweeted at the time. It wasn’t anything serious; I don’t know why people take little things serious.’
On her new movie, Dark, she talks about it like a mother whose child is going to school for the first time; the excitement is palpable. ‘It’s extremely different from the regular movies we see out there. It’s about a woman who lost her baby during childbirth, and she actually believed it was the fault of the doctor, so she planned to kill the doctor’s child in return. Usually, I always call everybody I want to feature in my movies before I start writing, so I try to think about how they fit into the roles. When I had the idea for this movie, I thought about Van Vicker, and I told him that I wanted to write a movie for him, and I also asked if he would be free to shoot at a certain time. He was like it’s different, and that he was ready to do it. I love to write romantic movies. That is empowering to women, and generally makes women happy, but Dark is a very serious movie; a lot was involved. It’s about family, pain, and a mother’s bond to her child. It sounds the same, but it’s different because it has a twist to it.’
She speaks more on the cast and their shared experience while on set, ‘Monalisa Chinda played the Doctor, while Van Vicker was her husband. I acted as the obsessed woman which is something I’ve never done before. I also had two buff cops in the persons of Bolanle Ninolowo and IK Ogbonna. There was also this amazing new child actor called Demarion Young who played Van’s son. It really took us a long time to get the perfect child for the movie, because we don’t have a lot of child actors in Nigeria. We held several auditions before we could get the perfect person.
The boy is so good, and he delivered his lines perfectly. He also looks so much like Van that I had to ask Van if he doesn’t have any child in Nigeria. My set is always fun and lively, and we needed it to be that way on this particular movie because the film is so serious. I had the best cast obviously.’
Dwelling on her sense of fashion, Rukky says she can never be caught wearing anything that doesn’t look good on her. She further defines fashion thus, ‘It means expressing yourself, and being comfortable in your own skin. I can never leave home without my sunglasses though, and the most I’ve ever spent on them is about a thousand Dollars. But when it comes to what I can spend the most on in general, that’s bags and they’re ridiculously expensive.’
On how long it takes her to get dressed for events, she says, ‘It takes me just about 30 minutes to an hour if I’m not in a hurry, and if I’m pressed for time, I just wear whatever and go.’
All work and no love makes Rukky a robot, so we want to know what qualities her dream man should possess, and she sums it up with the following words: ‘He must be an amazing person with a good heart, and he should also have a sense of humour, as well as do everything I say. I like people that make me happy.’
On how she balances stardom with other aspects of her life, she quips, ‘I’m a very private person, and the only place you can ever get to see me is on Instagram and Snapchat because I don’t really go out. People don’t really know much about me, and most of what is written about me out there are false. I advise celebs to live a private life, and not to put too much information about themselves out there.’
For the legion of men out there who dream to make her their woman, she refused to state whether she’s in a relationship or not, but as regards marriage, she says, ‘By God’s grace, I’ll get married soon.’

Following the outrage from leaders of the country on the very recent action of Head of States, President Muhammed Buhari; appointing more of Northerners into key federal positions, the Presidency, has now come to assure Nigerians that the appointments will spread round the country very soon and it would not be a Northern themed scenario at the time.
The Presidential spokesman, Femi Adesina while answering questions on a live radio programme in Abuja yesterday, said:
“No body can fault the fact that the persons appointed were appointed on merits. In terms of the spread, the President has the prerogative on appointment and he knows there is federal character. I’m sure there will be balance in the future”.These are still early days, at the end of the day we will have a balance. Don’t let’s forget that some of the positions are by election.”“By the time more appointments are made, there will be balance, the president is trying to get the very best of Nigerians. The issue of key positions and no key positions should not be the issue.“He gave a deadline of September for the appointment of ministers and he will keep to it”, he assure
It was an all joyous moment when Tonto Dikeh shared that she is engaged and we were even more happy when it was confirmed with photos from her introduction ceremony.
It has now taken us by surprise as she announced that her engagement ring is worth $60k (N11.5M Est.), we think it does. She claims the Canary Yellow diamond ring which costs over 60 thousand USD was shipped in from Australia last week.
Although it should be noted that she didn’t mention if the ring was 60k USD, but we know for sure that the ring can’t be 60 thousand Naira, nah! We know Tonto than that…

Nobel Laurette, Professor Wole Soyinka has taken yet another swipe at former Nigerian president Olusegun Obasanjo. The author referred to him as a lair and an economic illiterate.
The professor said this while responding to questions during a programme tagged: ‘An evening with Wole Soyinka’,.
Obasanjo is entitled to his opinion. But the question is: ‘Who respects the opinion of a liar?’I can spend the whole night proving that he is a liar. Obasanjo was once described by an economist, the late Prof Ojetunji Aboyade, as an economic illiterate. They nearly ‘went into blow’ that night. It was Prof. Mabogunje who separated them.
“So, if an economic illiterate calls somebody a political illiterate, no problem at all.
“In ‘ My Watch’, Obasanjo told the first lie when he said he deplored lies. Anybody who said he never plotted to have an unconstitutional third term in office, even as a writer, I need a word to describe him.”
Popular Nollywood actress, Rukky Sanda, who was reportedly given birth to with a diamond encrusted silver spoon *if you know what i mean* and was said to have come into the industry’s limelight cause of the wealth of her folks, claims that she helped herself to become what she is today.
With several self-produced movies to her credit, the actress revealed to Vanguard
‘Before I got into Nollywood, I was already doing business.I used to sell stuff, so I had my money to put into it, and my mum supported me with a loan.
Heavily achieved and multi-talented personality, DBanj, who we all know that since the beginning of his music career in 2005, has been linked with so many beautiful women (we even made a publication on that), but never got to betroth any one of them.
Back in the days, the artiste had plans, that by 30, he’d settle down, but… we all know how the story goes now. *smiles*. The DB records CEO, in a new interview with Saturday Beats revealed why he abolished his early plans.
He said:
“While growing up, there were some goals I set for myself and at 35; I have accomplished most of them. Sadly, I have not accomplished the primary goals. The main one is marriage. By now, I thought I would have been married. I had always thought I would have a child before the age of 30. That fantasy did not become a reality because I wanted to strengthen my brand. I wanted to be sure that I was on the right path career-wise because as a kid, you need to crawl before you can walk and eventually run. I wanted to be sure I surpass all boundaries and reach a certain stage where I can easily balance my work and family. That is the main reason why I am not married.”
The singer also stated that he is proud of his other achievements as they have surpassed his widest imaginations,
“Apart from marriage, one other thing I desire to have is the Grammy but that is already in the pipeline and it would be acquired soon. I didn’t know I would meet Kanye West while I was dreaming big as a child. But I dreamt that I would go places and people would hear my song all over the world. I also dreamt that Caucasians would dance to my music. I dreamt I would top music charts across the world and all that has happened. I have dreamt of performing in front of thousands of people on a global stage and I have achieved that. For all these I am grateful to God,”
