Porsche was sued on Monday by Paul Walkers daughter for the wrongful death of her Father, Paul Walker. She claimed that the sports car that her father was in when he was killed suffered from numerous design defects.
The lawsuit filed by Meadow Rain Walker seeks unspecified damages for defects that her lawyers claim kept the actor trapped in the Porsche Carrera GT when it crashed and burst into flames in November 2013.
Walker was on a break from filming the seventh film in the “Fast & Furious” franchise when he was killed. He was riding in the Carrera GT driven by friend and business associate Roger Rodas when the car spun out of control, struck three trees and burst into flames on a street in Santa Clarita, California.
The wrongful-death suit claims the car, which was marketed as a street-legal race car, lacked a proper stability control system and safeguards to protect occupants and keep it from catching fire after a collision.
“Absent these defects in the Porsche Carrera GT, Paul Walker would be alive today,” the lawsuit states.
The 18-page lawsuit includes a detailed recounting of the crash and contends that the Porsche was traveling 63 to 71 mph (101 to 114 kph) when it spun out of control.
Investigators concluded the Porsche was going much faster up to 94 mph (151 kph) when it crashed.
The investigation by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and California Highway Patrol concluded that it was unsafe speed and not mechanical problems that caused the crash. That investigation was aided by engineers from Porsche, who evaluated the wreckage of the rare car.
Meadow Walker’s lawsuit contends Porsche didn’t include a stability control system in the Carrera GT model Rodas was driving but includes it in other models. It also claims the car lacked proper reinforcements in its doors and used rubber fuel lines that didn’t break free to prevent a fire in a crash.
Similar allegations of design and safety defects were included in a wrongful death lawsuit by Rodas’ widow, Kristine Rodas, that remains pending in a federal court in Los Angeles.
Rodas was trained as a race car driver and was only driving 55 mph (89 kph), according to his wife’s lawsuit. He left behind two young children when he died.
Walker, the star of the “Fast & Furious” film franchise, co-owned an auto racing team with Rodas named Always Evolving. Meadow Walker, 16, is the sole heir of his estate.
A Nigerian man in Ghana is on the run right now for Allegedly Assaulting Ghanaian Actress, Yvonne Nelson.
Reports By News One have it that the actress was physically assaulted by the said Nigerian man all because she refused to hug him.
The strange incident which happened in the presence of several eyewitnesses Saturday night during the birthday party of actress Ingrid Alabi in Accra was said to have frightened the victim.
Elvis Eze, apparently bent on unleashing violence on the actress, chased her to her car, fiercely pushed her head as though he was inviting her to a wrestling match and was heard screaming at her and using very abusive adjectives including “who the f*ck do you think you are?”
The timely intervention of eyewitnesses was what rescued the frightened actress from the physical attacks she was receiving from the incensed male adult who was poised to humiliate his hapless female prey.
The case was reported to the East Legon Police but Elvis, also known as Elvis Casino, was still evading arrest as at press time Sunday.
Reports say Elvis was one of several persons invited to Ingrid’s party, where he met Yvonne Nelson as well as other celebrities including Eddie Nartey, Van Vicker, Nikki Samonas, Jasmine Baroudi, Khareema Aguiar, KOD and Ghana Movie Awards boss Fred Nuamah.
Elvis was said to have joined Yvonne to take photos with Ingrid and some others but after the photos, he requested a hug from Yvonne but she declined. This infuriated him and he started assaulting her verbally before chasing her up to her car when she was leaving the party grounds.
Elvis, while going after the actress, was overheard yelling on top of his voice at that moment, “Who are you? Who the f*ck do you think you are? Who do you think you are?”
Yvonne Nelson reported the incident to the East Legon Police and a team was sent to contact Ingrid Alabi to assist in locating Elvis. On reaching the house Elvis was supposed to be staying, occupants said he was not home.
An elderly man who identified himself as the owner of the house, however took the contacts of the police team and promised to produce Elvis Sunday noon after church.

10. Tunde and Wunmi Obe.
This couple have been together for over 16 years and they’re still going strong.
Speaking with a PremiumTimes reporter, the Duo said they can never ever break up, not even as a music group but also as a couple.
Music stars, Tunde and Wunmi Obe, popularly known as TWO, have said they cannot break up as a music group, not even for publicity sake.
The duo, who spoke at a press conference in Lagos, said they were not just best friends, but happily married with kids and are seen as role models by several persons within and outside the entertainment industry.
“How do we explain to our kids whose friends in school will ask them if the split is true?” Wunmi said. “Do we say, ‘See daddy and mummy are just playing so we can sell records and make headlines?’ Ours goes beyond just music. We were members of the same band then became best friends, dated and married, so it’s not going to be easy to split up.”
On their scandal free career, the Mogbo Moya singers said they had learnt to deal with issues as mature adults and had stuck to the persons they started out with from the beginning.
“We are lucky, we have been working with the same manager, same people for over decades,” Tunde said. “Whenever we have any disagreement, we talk like mature adults. We have never had any confrontational period. I’m her best friend, she’s my best friend. When you don’t talk to your best friend you know how it feels.
“We make a joke of everything like “Wetin dey do you sef?” That’s the kind of relationship we have. We always communicate with a lot of respect. If you talk to me respectfully and I talk to you with respect, where will the quarrel come from and that’s the same thing about our marriage.”
Tunde jokingly blamed their clean image for their lack of brand endorsements.
“Maybe you (should) ask the brands, because I don’t understand,” he said. “It is giving the impression that having a clean image is not ok in Nigeria. Maybe we need a little bit of scandal in our lives, but we don’t know. It’s as shocking as ever.”
A few months after dropping the banging hot single, Simantiniya, Northside Inc’s frontliner and sensational dancehall diva, “Cynthia Morgan” A.K.A ” The Kingston Property”, has released the visuals to the song where she professes and affirms love to that special someone.
In her usual dancehall, reggae manner, she goes subtle on this piece.
With special appearance by Burna Boy, this is one video to watch as its delivery is top-notch.
Cynthia Morgan is currently having issues with her Boyfriend, Lezleesingz who is also a singer. Things has not being going well with the German Juice crooner and Lezleesingz due to the kiss she shared with fellow artiste, Burna Boy.
Sources say Lezleesingz, a fast rising artiste went berserk after he heard details of how Burna Boy for more than two minutes kept kissing Cynthia on set because the director kept insisting on retakes.
“Initially he refused picking Cynthia’s calls and never replied her messages.
However, unable to bear it anymore, he flew into Lagos and immediately summoned Cynthia Morgan to the video shoot of one of his songs which features Cynthia.
However, the chemistry between them was poor as they just acted like strangers on set,” a source said adding that Lezleesingz has given Cynthia an ultimatum that they either go public with their relationship which is against her label’s wish or forget about everything they’ve shared together.
In 2012, I was transferred to Ibadan. I have lots of girlfriends in Lagos and don’t want to date any new girl in Ibadan, so me and my friend that was transferred to Ibadan together became regulars at a brothel.
Me and my friend had just 2 customers we patronize. 6 months later (early 2013) I was transferred back to Lagos.
After I left, I do invite one of the girls to Lagos because she is too good in bed till I lost her contact when my phone got lost (December 2013). We all traveled home yesterday due to sallah celebration. I was surprised when I saw my younger brother come with the prostitute in Ibadan and introduced her to me as his fiancee.
I just stood there not knowing what to do because I was expecting the girl to feel somehow and but she didn’t even show any fear.
Throughout the day She was everywhere cooking and joking with everybody around there. I thought she was pretending not to know me but I didn’t confront her, so I asked for some of her pix from my brother and sent it to that my friend if he knows the girl and he was quick to tell me that’s the girl I do bleep in Ibadan.
But when I told him of the relationship between my brother and the girl, he told me to tell our parents and my brother so they can cancel the relationship that the girl isn’t worth it.
Now am confused, I don’t know if the girl is pretending or she doesn’t recognize me anymore because of her numerous customers. I don’t know if I should tell my brother or just keep quiet.

Emeka Umoh, an employee of Hongxing Steel Company Limited in the Amuwo Odofin area of Lagos State, was scalded to death after liquefied iron spilled on his body last Wednesday while on duty.
He died at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, where he was rushed to for treatment. Another worker, Adebayo Ajiboye, was reportedly squeezed to death by a compressor sometime in February.
It was gathered that there was almost a face-off between the management of the company and the workers, after the management decided to take the remains of the father of three to a morgue in a tipper.
Twenty-three-year old Obinna Eze, an indigene of Ebonyi State, who recently lost three fingers to a compressor, accused the management of the company of disregard for human lives.
Eze, who spoke with Punch at the Federal Medical Centre, Ebute-Meta, where he was admitted to, said he had left Ebonyi State for Lagos in January 2015, to “hustle”, adding that he joined the steel company with high hopes.
He said:
“We had to work through targets, which we call tonnage. Everyday, the amount of work you do is weighed on a scale, and you write your pay for the day down. Everything is summed up into what you collect every month. Sometimes I get N35, 000 every month, depending on how hard I work.
“I was among the workers operating the compressor, which we use to compress iron. On 10 August, around 5.50am, I was cleaning up the machine we had used to work overnight, when I noticed a crane heading in my direction. As I was trying to escape it, I never knew when my hand became trapped in the compressor.”
He said the machine chopped off three fingers, after which he was taken to the hospital.
“I am in pain right now. I have just started my life, but with this, I don’t know what to do again. I am confused,” he added.
Eze said there were regular accidents, which were usually caused by faulty machines.
He said:
“Accidents happen from time to time. Workers sustain lifelong deformities like my own. Some people die. The reason is because when the machines are faulty and we call our bosses to repair them, they simply tell us to manage them.”
Punch met with another worker of the company admitted in another hospital, who said he sustained a fracture after he was trapped by a machine in the company.
The worker, who spoke on condition of anonymity, alleged that the company management treated its Nigerian workers as slaves. He said they were forced to work round the clock for a meager pay.
He said:
“I have been working for more than one year, and yet, I have not been given an employment letter. The company does not have permanent factory workers and that is why they can fire us at any time.
“People die in the company like fowl and nothing happens about it. Ajiboye was my friend and he was very hungry that fateful day. He asked us for money to eat, but nobody gave him. He later bought biscuit and went back to work.
“A few minutes later, I heard a scream and by the time we rushed there, the compressor had crushed him to death.
“Our Chinese bosses brought a tipper and as they moved his remains into it, we started protesting. We were careful because we knew we could also lose our jobs.
“We did not allow them to take the corpse out in the tipper until they got an ambulance,” he said.
The worker alleged that some members of staff were sometimes beaten up by their Chinese bosses. He said if any of the workers complained, the person was quickly fired and another employee hired.
“There is always a crowd of people at the gate, waiting to be called in. So, immediately you are sacked, they will go to the gate and handpick people to come in.
“These new people are first placed on training allowance of N650 per day and they could be on training for about six months before they are placed on salary. But nobody is a permanent staff.”
He said the workers were always exposed to hazards, which sometimes led to permanent injuries. He said:
“Just a few weeks back, liquid iron poured down the body of one of my friends and it peeled off half of his backside. Another person was blinded after the liquid affected his eyes.
“The recent case was that of Emeka, who died on Sunday, September 20, after the liquid iron spilled on his body. He was rushed to LUTH, where he died. There are many more who have become blinded and disabled.”
He said many of the workers could not resign because they had nowhere to turn to.
“There is no rest; we work from Monday to Sunday, including public holidays. We are suffering,” he added
Another worker told PUNCH Metro that people who worked in the “cook department” were the worst hit of all the workers in the company.
In line with his separation from reality TV star,Kourtney Kardashian, many a fans have speculated as to what’s gonna happen to the celebrity’s fate on the Keeping Up With The Kardashians reality TV show.

‘I’ve been making money since I was a kid, and I’ll keep making money,”So I am not worried about it. I am feeling good.’
He took selfies with a bunch of girls at the club throughout the night, and when a smiling blonde girl with tattoos tried to dance with him, he held her arm and whispered into her ear.

In the tragic incident which took place at the Hajj Saudi Arabi just last week, it’s newly reported that 56 Nigerian pilgrims are reported to have died in the stampede. 77 others were reportedly injured with many still missing.
The figures were released last night at a news conference in Makkah by the Chairman of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), Abdullahi Mukhtar.

He said:

The reports by the police that the former minister of finance and chieftain of Afenifere, Chief Olu Falae was released by his abductors without paying ransom has been rebuffed.
The Sun reveals that a family member of the elder statesman said contrary to the claim by the police authorities, ransom was paid before Chief Falae was eventually released.
The family source also berated the Inspector-General of Police, Mr Solomon Arase of claiming the glory for Falae’s release saying the police boss just came to Ondo for jamboree “because Police did not have any input in Baba’s release.”
He regained his freedom after spending four days in the kidnappers’ den
“I wonder why people don’t investigate well before talking. It will be very unfair to give any kudos to the police over Chief Falae’s release having being held hostage for four days.
“If we relied on Police to rescue Baba and ignored his abductors on the ransom they demanded by now we would have been telling another story. But we thank God our Baba came back alive.”
The source did not disclose the actual amount paid but said the family had to appeal to the hoodlums to spare Falae’s life saying the kidnappers threatened seriously.
“So, in this kind of development, we should wait and be listening to the police? My brother, forget. As far as I know, the police didn’t play any role in his release. The family played ball with the abductors, and they took him back to his farm where he was kidnapped and dropped him there. “Baba even said it when he got home that after the abductors had concluded their arrangements with his family, they took him back to his farm at Ilado and dropped him there.
“Baba said when his abductors dropped him, he trekked several kilometers from his farm to a hotel in owo where he met some policemen and introduced himself as Chief Olu Falae. That was how the Police got to know of his release and hijacked the whole process as if they are the one who rescued him. Only an unreasonable person will still give kudos to the police for the Chief’s release. We know who and who we should thank, not the police,” the furious family source said.
Maya Donnelly awoke to what sounded like thunder in the early morning hours, but dismissed it as a typical monsoon storm and went back to sleep.
Later that morning, she looked in the carport at her home in Nogales, near the U.S.-Mexico border, and saw pieces of wood on the ground. She found a bulky bundle wrapped in black plastic.
Inside was roughly 26 pounds of marijuana – a package that authorities say was worth $10,000 and likely was dropped there accidentally by a drug smuggler’s aircraft.
“It’s all right on top of our dog’s house,” It just made a perfectly round hole through our carport.”
She and her husband called 911. Nogales Police Chief Derek Arnson said it’s the first time in his three-year tenure that he’s ever seen a load of drugs hit a building.
“Someone definitely made a mistake, and who knows what the outcome of that mistake might be for them,”
Police are trying to determine whether the bundle was transported by an aircraft or a pilotless drone. Such runs usually occur at night.
Maya Donnelly said she thinks it’s unlikely someone will come looking for the drugs, which are now in police custody. Police have boosted patrols in the Donnellys neighborhood for now.
“Where it landed was clear on the other side of the house from the bedrooms,” Maya Donnelly said. “We were lucky in that sense.” Everybody says: `Why did you call 911?'”But how can you have a clear conscience, right? We could have made lots of home repairs with that.
A Mr. Marcel Ossai Aba who was brutally murdered with his wife, Jacinta, at the Amaja area in Enugu Ezike about eight days ago might just have been slaughtered by kidnappers.
Vanguard tells the story; Aba was sleeping with his wife and three children penultimate week when some unknown persons woke him up and broke his head with a cutlass.
The assailants later went into his wife’s room and removed her one-year-old daughter who she was breast feeding before severing her head. The assailants left the scene of crime without removing any material or property.
However, investigations by the publication revealed that Aba and his wife were killed after an abducted man from Anambra State was rescued by the police in a bush near his house.
Those who spoke on the condition of anonymity at Amaja, apprised that an unidentified man whose mouth was covered with a black cloth, was seen in a bush which separates the village from Amaja with Adupi in Benue State.
Aba lived at the border with his family. It was gathered that another woman had found the abducted man and ran back to inform her husband who consequently alerted members of the vigilante group in the area.
The members of the vigilante were also said to have alerted the nearest police station in the area, which sent detectives to free the kidnap victim. It was gathered that the abductors of the unidentified victim usually visited him between 2 am and 3.30 am each day to feed him.
However, sources said that when the kidnappers visited the area where they hid their victim in the bush, they were disappointed that the people living nearby alerted the police men who untied their victim and went to the nearby house to kill the couple.
An 11 year old daughter of the deceased, Chinonso narrated how her parents were killed in cold when her parents were killed at the palace of the Onyishi Amaja, Eze Nwidoko, where the people of the area returned en- masse to discuss the strange development weekend said that the assailants killed her father before killed her mother.
”We were sleeping in the night when my mother noticed that some people were flashing their torches outside but were not talking. As she was talking, the people came into our room and took her baby who was sucking her breast away from her and threw him to Ikedi, 5, before cutting my mother’s neck.
”The whole place was dark, We did not know when they left, After waiting for sometime I went to my father’s room and saw that his head was also cut, I used the lantern which was lit by mother before we went to bed. Later I came out with Ikedi but the whole place was still dark,”It was later in the morning that we called those nearby who started shouting and calling others to come and see what had happened,” Chinonso who was carrying the last child of her mother said.
The traditional ruler of Amaja, Igwe Ignatius Idoko, aka Atlas, said that his community was the most neglected border area in the state:
”We have been appealing to the relevant authorities to establish a police station between us and the people of Benue and Kogi states who are our neighbours.
Igwe Idoko who took Vanguard on a motorcycle to the family house of the deceased couple where it was discovered that the door leading to the man’s room was opened by the deceased for his assailants while the one leading to his wife’s own was broken has vowed that the community would leave no stone unturned to get at the root of the matter.
Onyishi Idoko Igwe Idoko said that the couple had died for the liberation of the people of Amaja just as Jesus died for the liberation of mankind adding that the people would cooperate with security agencies to ensure that justice was done.

See What He said below:
“Yes I am single and it’s tough. It is a question of time. I’d like to think that I will eventually make a great boyfriend and husband. I try to be a romantic guy. I am very spontaneous. I like to enjoy my relationships. When the time is right, I will be able to do all of that,” he explained.

It’s Monday, so I decided to drop something I wrote about Procrastination, you should try and read it now, sometimes later becomes never. Have a Blessed Week ahead!
Procrastination, oh I like that sh*t, Procrastination has been compared to masturbation… they both feel good while doing it (so I heard, never masturbated before) but sucks afterwards when you realize you’ve been fucking with yourself all along.
I’m a victim of procrastination; in fact I’m the craziest procrastinator you can see around. So I used myself as a case study. I procrastinate a lot, I even procrastinate the “unprocrastinateable” I mean even before writing this I had shifted it couple of times, that’s probably why I ended up writing this in the middle of the night. That’s just me BTW.
I’m the idlest guy you can see around, why? It’s simply because I’m a procrastinator. I discovered that Procrastination is the act of saving today to die tomorrow, its being free today to occupy tomorrow, its chilling today to struggle tomorrow, I’ll go ahead and say its living today to die tomorrow,Procrastination is putting today’s task on tomorrow forgetting each day comes with its own task.
Procrastinators live yesterday in today (you don’t get that. do you?). Let me give an illustration, Yesterday I was supposed to do my laundry, I didn’t, I shifted it to the next day, and that is today…Today I should be doing something else but I have to do my laundry (I’m too old to be going about dirty, I’m sure you’re too), so I’m washing what I should have washed yesterday today…that is simply living yesterday today
Procrastination is the act of buying time from the future; Procrastinators actually owe Time ‘time’ and believe me you can never have enough time to pay time. There is this popular saying around here “time is money”, we all know time is not a legal tender but when you borrow money you know how paying back feels like, it is actually taking from your present money to pay for the money you spent in the past. So also when you procrastinate you take from today’s time to pay for yesterday’s.
Procrastination would’ve been the sh*t if the time you borrowed today could be added to tomorrow but all days have 24 equal hours
Lastly, Procrastination kills tomorrow, it over burdens tomorrow and renders today useless! Procrastination is a friend of today, Enemy of the Future.
