Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, better known as Portable, has taken to social media to gush over his first wife, Omobewaji, amid his squabble with his second wife.

Recall that Portable called his second wife Bolaji out on social media last night after he caught her cheating on him with another man.

He shared screenshots of Bolaji’s chat with her lover and seemingly gave details of what transpired in a cryptic post.

He hinted that despite being in his house and planning their wedding, his second wife, with whom he recently welcomed a child, was having an affair with another man.

“Man put you for house you still dey promise another man. Wahala Wahala Wahala you never ready O sare Lol Marry… You dey double date and you still dey play wedding. Oun Pa pepe iro. Following this, Portable took to social media to shower praise on his first wife.

Taking to his Instagram stories, he shared loved-up photos and videos of himself with his first wife.

Sharing the photos she described her as a real woman and blessing.

“Real woman, blessing from day one. Respect who respect you Zazuu Queen. My tomorrow.” he wrote in part.

Nigerian clergyman and filmmaker, Mike Bamiloye has written an open letter to actors and actresses who kiss and act sexual scenes in movies.

In the lengthy letter shared on his Instagram page, the gospel actor castigated them for engaging in intimate scenes for money and popularity.

He added that the fabric of many marriages have been broken because of sex scenes as it breeds mistrusts between married couples. He further urged actors to consider their spouses and children before acting such scenes.

Speaking further, he called out movie producers and directors who make actors kiss on set and accused them of being “lustful”.

The 62-year-old evangelist wrote,

The Presiding Bishop of the Manna Prayer Mountain Ministries Worldwide, Bishop Chris Kwakpovwe, has advised married couples to seek each other’s consent before engaging in a spiritual fast.

The clergyman and author of 25-year-old daily devotional, Our Daily Manna, gave this admonition amid the ongoing prayer and fasting exercise observed by some Christian faithfuls in January to usher in blessings for the new year.

He averred that it’s unscriptural for married couples to embark on a long or short fasting programme without asking for the other party’s permission.

He said, “1st Corinthians 7: 3- 5 says, no one in a marital relationship has the right to jump into fasting without the agreement and consent of their partner. It has to be an agreement for this to happen. In other words, you have to pet your wife or husband and be in agreement”.

“You can not do a secret fast. Your partner and spouse needs to know and be in agreement, This is what the bible (as revealed via Apostle Paul) says. Once your partner says NO, please don’t do it. The bible wants you to discuss with and listen to your partner and in certain cases appeal to them in wisdom,” he added.

He concluded by saying, “May the fasting and prayers of this year bring positive results for everyone and may results that cancel insults be showcased in your lives in Jesus name”.

Popular Nollywood filmmaker, Austin Faani, has bemoaned the lack of support from celebrities for actress Funke Akindele’s political ambition.

Faani, in a recent post on his Instagram page, said that celebrities, especially female actresses, are not campaigning for their colleague and PDP deputy governorship candidate in Lagos State, Funke Akindele.

He questioned if Funke’s colleagues are being unsupportive out of sheer envy or because they have doubts about her capabilities.

Nigerian singer, Portable, has taken to social media to leak purported chats between his second wife and her lover after he caught her cheating.

The Zazu Zeh star had previously given a hint that there was trouble in paradise with a cryptic post he shared on his Instagram page.

In the post, he urged his male fans and followers to fear women while taking a swipe at a woman who, he claims, was professing love to another man while in her partner’s house and planning their marriage.

Since the first edition of Big Brother Titans began two weeks ago, there has been several discourse on social media about the happenings among the Nigerian and South African housemates in the house.

Also, as much as people are really inspired by my work, I don’t think of myself as a role model. “But I don’t want people to attach themselves to everything I do or hold me accountable for certain decisions that I make. I want to live free, I want to be myself and I still want to do great work without the pressure of people’s expectations.” She said.

Speaking on why she went into acting, she disclosed that it is something she is passionate about and that she got a law degree as a backup plan.

“My career has only just started and I’m grateful for how versatile the roles that I’ve played are and on huge platforms as well. Any role that allows me to transform, I would obviously do well. I love to challenge myself. I don’t like to take on the same role twice. Every character is kind of different.

“I picked acting because I’m extremely passionate about it. It was almost as though I couldn’t shake it. Essentially, I realised that it was something that made me the happiest. Although, I thought it was a hobby. I figured that I was really talented and I was really passionate about it.

“For my law degree, I wanted it for backup because at the end of the day, I’m a first-generation immigrant and I understand how hard my parents worked to get me to the United Kingdom. I didn’t want to let them down because that would be too selfish,” she said.

Popular Nollywood actress, Lilian Afegbai has recounted how she almost got rusticated from University over a sex scene with actor, Jim Iyke.

Lilian, a graduate of Benson Idahosa University, Benin City, Edo state, recalled the incident during an interview on the Tea with Taymesan podcast.

The 31-year-old actress said she got the acting gig when she was an undergraduate student of the institution, and acted an erotic scene with Jim Iyke.

Controversial Nigerian singer, Portable, has stirred speculation that he’s presently at odds with one of his wives following his recent outburst on Instagram.

The singer, who recently welcomed a child with his second wife, shared a cryptic post about infidelity on his Instagram page on Wednesday night.

Popular Nigerian singer, Yemi Alade has finally broken her silence on reports that she’s pregnant and expecting a child with the president of Togo, Faure Essozimna Gnassingbé Eyadéma.

Randy Gonzalez, father in popular TikTok duo Enkyboys, dies at 35 after cancer battle

Randy Gonzalez, the father in the viral TikTok duo, Enkyboys, has passed away after a battle with cancer.

He died on Wednesday morning, January 25, in hospice after struggling with stage four colon cancer.

The popular TikTok star had shared news of his condition with his fans and followers in April 2022, and revealed that he received the diagnosis six months prior.

He said he was given 2-3 years to live, and chemotherapy might extend the time to 5 years.

Randy used to give fans updates on his cancer battle, and remained positive while posting funny videos with his young son, Brice.

His last video was shared on December 16, 2022.

Sadly, he succumbed to the ailment on Wednesday. May his soul rest in peace!

Popular Nollywood Actress, Toyin Abraham has taken legal actions against Revolution Plus property to ensure her dissociation from the brand.

She took to her Instagram page to share the legal documents from her lawyers with a lengthy statement as proof of her dissolution of the contract.

Our Client wishes to disassociate herself from the brand, Revolutionplus (hereinafter referred to ‘the company). This disclaimer is premised on the fact that our client’s contract with the Company as a Brand Ambassador has been effectively terminated and the compelling need to disassociate herself from the image of the Brand.
Despite the above promises, I was still receiving various threats messages, curses, complaints and pleas from investors claiming they had not been allocated any land or refunded their monies. Some of them further claimed that because I represented the Company as a brand ambassador, I reposed their confidence in the
Company to invest their monies. I became sad, worried, and disturbed and decided to stop my social media publications and advertisement of the Company’s products.
When the pressure and harassment became embarrassingly unbearable both online on all my social media platforms and offline, and with my integrity at stake, I sent a mail to the Company on the 15th June 2022 notifying them of my intent to terminate my contract as a Brand Ambassador. The Company reached out to me on the 16th of June 2022, we had a meeting and they promised to promptly and effectively address the allegations. Upon the premise of the promises made, I sent another mail on the 17th June 2022 cancelling my notice of intent to terminate my contract as a brand ambassador.
In view of the above termination which I accept in good faith and totality, and considering the recent similar messages I have received from aggrieved customers from the brand, I hereby disassociate myself from the brand and advise that all persons dealing with the brand conduct their respective due diligence’.
It was in the wake of my decision to reduce the brand’s visibility and advertisement on my social media platforms, especially because my integrity as a person is being questioned daily, that I received a ‘Notice of Termination of Brand Ambassadorship’ letter on the 22nd December 2022 by the Company’s legal team, which effectively terminated my contract with them on grounds of reduced affection and reluctant approach towards publicly identifying with the brand.
While performing my duties as contained in the contract, I started receiving a lot of allegations and complaints from investors who claimed the Company has not allocated lands nor refunded them their monies. Some of these investors were in my DM (Direct Message) demanding for refund of their monies or allocation of the lands they paid for.
Please find below the official statement from our Client:
‘After carefully conducting my due diligence and being personally convinced about the genuineness of the Company, I proceeded to sign a contractual agreement in July 2020, thereby becoming a brand ambassador to market the property products of the Company, Revolutionplus. This duty I carried out with utmost loyalty, diligence, integrity and excellence, which are the core values I stand for.”

Nollywood actress and Lagos state governorship candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Funke Akindele was reportedly chased out of the Kosofe fruit market.

Funke Akindele had gone to the Kosofe fruit market to campaign before the election but was harassed and forced out by several hoodlums.

The PDP gubernatorial candidate, Abdul-Azeez Adediran, also known as Jandor, responded to the event that occurred yesterday during a meeting with the head Imam of Ketu Central Mosque.

He condemned the assault and revealed that a member of his security team was stabbed while others including journalists were injured during the attack.

He said;

“What is happening we do not want it again. It is not good for democracy, but despite the attacks, we are moving and still motivated to rescue our people.

According to him, there was no point pretending and lying about their source of income and deceiving hardworking youths.

Nigerian activist, Deji Adeyanju has opined that the worst thing that can happen to anyone is to be famous and broke.

Deji, who stated this in an Instagram post on Tuesday morning, January 24, noted that being a celebrity is not a profession.

According to him, that is why many male and female celebrities allegedly turn to prostitution to support their lifestyles.

“Celebrity is not a profession. That is why you find both male and female so called celebrities doing prostitution because that is all they can do. The worst thing that can happen to anyone is to be popular and broke.” He wrote.

A Nigerian lady has taken to Twitter to advise her fellow citizens to plan well before relocating to a foreign country.

In a tweet that has sparked a debate online, the lady, identified as @msmocrown, urged Nigerians not to resign from their well-paying jobs in Nigeria to settle for a job that pays minimum wage abroad.

According to her, if they fail to plan well, their colleagues who remained in Nigeria might be more successful than them in 10 years.

She tweeted,

A Nigerian lady has taken to social media to share a conversation she had with a man she just met.

The lady, identified on Twitter as @Cheche, revealed she had just met the man three days earlier and shared the shocking question he asked her as they got to know each other.

In the chat, the man asked her to tell him about herself, and in response, she told him to ask specific questions that she would provide answers to.

The man then asked her about her menstrual cycle. “How long does your menstrual cycle last”, he asked.

Startled, the lady asked why he thought it was appropriate to ask her about her menstrual cycle despite just meeting her.

“Who asked someone you barely know about their menstrual cycle just like that ?”, she said.

When she expressed her shock, the men sent her a voicenote explaining that she shouldn’t take his harmless question so seriously.

According to him, he should be allowed to ask her any kind of question in the process of getting to know her.

A while back, Nigerian celebrity couple, Adekunle Gold and Simi, celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary on Friday, January 13th, with a loud romantic gesture.

The couple, who are both singers and tied the nuptial knot in 2018, got complementing tattoos to mark their fourth year in marriage, and Nigerians are loving it!

Adekunle Gold took to his Instastory to share a photo of the adorable tattoos as a declaration of their bond and love for each other.

Popular Nigerian singer, Bella Shmurda has recounted how he got his girlfriend, Omotena, pregnant during his struggling days.

Bella relayed the incident during a chat with media personality, Taymesan, on his podcast show ‘Tea with Taymesan’.

He said he was squatting at his friend’s house, and struggling for survival when his girlfriend told him about the pregnancy.

According to the ‘Cash App’ singer, he was involved in internet fraud at the time, and even borrowed some money from his friend to buy a laptop for it.

However, he was very unfortunate and didn’t make a single dime from online scam for six months after acquiring a laptop.

He said he was very frustrated and felt God was using the challenge to tell him to quit fraud and focus on his music career.

When asked about the pregnancy and the child, Bella Shmurda jokingly snubbed the question.
