Embattled Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has reacted to the annulment of his victory by a tribunal ruling.
The Osun State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Osogbo on Friday, January 27 nullified the election of Ademola Adeleke as Osun governor.
In a split document of two to one, the tribunal declared that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) did not comply substantially with the Constitution and the provisions of the Electoral Act.
The tribunal led by Justice Terste Kume, therefore, instructed the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to withdraw the certificate of return issued to Adeleke and issue the same to Oyetola, who won a majority of the lawful votes.
Taking to his official Twitter page, Adeleke declared that the judgment of the governorship election petitions tribunal was “a miscarriage of justice” and reassured citizens he would do everything to get justice.
Adeleke wrote;
“I want to use this opportunity to call on our people to remain calm. We will appeal the judgement and we are sure justice will be done. Let everyone be reassured that we will do everything possible to retain this widely acclaimed mandate. God bless Osun!”

Nigerian kid comedian, Kiriku has reacted after a lady claiming to be his sister called him out, accusing him of abandoning his family.

A mild drama ensued in the Big Brother Titans house last night after Khosi saw her love interest, Yemi, flirting with Blue Aiva at the pool party.

Nigerian media personality and daughter of late Afro-beat legend Fela Kuti, Yeni Kuti, has stated that cheating is not a deal breaker for her in a relationship or marriage.
Speaking on TVC, the 61-year-old noted that she wouldn’t end things with her partner if she discovered him cheating with another woman. According to her, her father, the late Fela Kuti, had 27 wives, and her mother didn’t leave her marriage.

The tribunal chairman, Justice Tetsea Kume, who read the majority decision, deducted the over-voting observed from the votes scored by the candidates and declared Oyetola the validly elected governor of the state.
He directed INEC to withdraw Ademola Adelekeâs certificate of return and issue the same to Oyetola, who won a majority of the lawful votes of 314,931 while Adeleke had 219,666.
Gov. Ademola Adeleke was sworn into office on Sunday, November 28, 2022. His inauguration ceremony will graced by a handful of family members, including his nephew, Nigerian superstar, Davido.
However, on August 2022, Oyetola, a former Osun governor, and the APC petitioned the tribunal to challenge Adeleke’s victory in the election.
Among several issues, Oyetola contended that there was overvoting in 749 polling units across 10 local government areas of the state.
He also argued that Adeleke forged the academic credentials he submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to contest for the election.

Taking to her Instagram page, Lolo revealed that there was a fire incident in her home recently after she left a pot of oil unattended to in the kitchen.
She said when she discovered that her kitchen was up in flames, she kept saying “Holy Spirit, help me”, and she knew exactly what to do to stop the fire.

Popular relationship coach, Pastor Kingsley Okonkwo, has averred that there was no difference between adultery and fornication.

Controversial Nollywood actor, Uche Maduagwu, has criticized his colleagues, Nancy Isime and Peter Okoye for their roles in the trending Netflix series, Shantytown.
Taking to his Instagram account he shared a video querying the need for Nancy Isimeâs nudity and why Peter Okoye, a singer was given a movie role.
According to him, the entire production of the movie was sub par and not worth the hype.

Nigerian artiste and label boss, Naira Marleyâs younger brother, Babatunde Moshood Fashola, also known as Shuddy Funds has lampooned former Marlian dancer, Lil smart for calling out his brother.
The dancer shared a video on his Instagram story to lament the treatment he got from Marlian entertainment and narrate why he had to leave despite his love for the label boss, Naira Marley.
According to Lil smart, he had been with the label since the onset and expected better treatment when they finally became famous but he did not get any of that.

Media personality, Denrele Edun has given a cryptic response to his colleague, Nedu, after he claimed that most male celebrities are either gay or bisexual.
Recall that Nedu stated this during a recent episode of his podcast ‘The Honest Bunch’. He had claimed that 90% of men in the Nigerian entertainment industry are fruity – a slang word for homosexual.
Shortly after he made this claim, Denrele came out to boldly embrace the accusation in a rather cryptic post shared on his Instagram page.

A Nigerian lady has vented her frustration online after her chow chow was impregnated by another breed without her knowledge.
In a trending video, the lady is seen chastising the dog for mating with a random dog despite being a special breed.
According to her, she recently took the dog for a walk and didn’t realize it had mated with the dog of a guy they met on the road until days later, when she found out the dog was pregnant.
She bemoaned how much money she had spent on the Chow Chow and expressed disappointment that the dog is pregnant with a local dog and will not be giving birth to the purebred puppies she had hoped for.
She said her plan was for the Chow Chow to mate with her breed so her puppies could be purebred.
In the video, the visibly enraged woman asks for advice on where she can have an abortion for the dog, as she’s keen on it having its own breed.
“Do anyone know where I can do abortion for a dog in the UK pls?” She asked.

A Nigerian woman, Uba Sandra Chisom, has taken to Facebook to lay hefty curses on the kidnappers who murdered her husband, Henry Ifeka.
It was earlier reported that Henry was kidnapped over the holidays and killed despite paying the ransom demanded for his release.

Taking to Facebook to share the depth of her pain on Monday, January 23, the bereaved widow disclosed that she almost committed suicide because the pain was too much to bear.
She also placed curses on the families of her late husband’s killers and said none of them will ever live till old age.
“Oh death. Dear sweet Husband !! You were a good man, father, husband and friend…You never allow us to lack anything. You were the best father to your children,” she wrote.

According to her, she only discovered moments ago that her husband had sent her the money the day before.Â

A Nigerian man identified as Orlando Nnaoma has recounted his disappointing encounter with a friend he wanted to do business with.
According to Orlando, he went for a business meeting with his friend but he was sent out of the meeting because the friend was interested in spending money for the proposed business on his girlfriend.
