A viral video has captured the moment a Nigerian lady went wild with excitement after her boyfriend proposed to her.

A young man decided to propose marriage to his girlfriend, and her reaction to the surprise proposal has stirred reactions on social media.

In the trending clip, the lady was in what appeared to be a school setting when her boyfriend got down on one knee in the presence of her colleagues and popped the question she had probably been yearning to hear.

“Will you marry me?” the young man, who was on his knee stretching forward a box ring to his girlfriend, asked.

The lady who couldn’t contain her excitement went haywire. She first dashed off, then yanked off her wig before running back to her boyfriend and accepting his proposal.

In the clip, the young lady, who is a church worker, was busy with the Lord’s work when her boyfriend got down on both knees to propose marriage to her.

The lady dressed in a white shirt and black skirt was busy praying as she held the offering box. Unbeknownst to her, her man had knelt on both knees, waiting for her to finish praying for her to pop the question.

As she concluded her prayers, her man, who was already kneeling behind with the ring, tapped her. When she saw him in that position, she was moved to tears and continued to thank God, as if her long-standing prayer had been answered.

She finally faced her man, stretching her hands forward as he slid the ring on her finger.

Controversial crossdresser, Bobrisky, has slammed his ailing fan, Lord Casted, over claims of contracting HIV after inking a tattoo of his face on his body.

The drama started after Lord Casted, an ardent fan of the male Barbie who got a tattoo of Bob in 2021, cried out on social media a few weeks back that he had been suffering from a strange ailment as a result of the tattoo.

He claimed that he contracted the ailment from the machine used to draw the tattoo on his body.

Although Bobrisky reacted at the time, making it clear that he didn’t force anyone to draw a tattoo of his name or face on their bodies, he took to social media to slam Lord Casted in a fresh Instagram post.

Bobrisky revealed the undisclosed ailment was HIV, and told him to stop lying about contracting the ailment as a result of the tattoo.

Bobrisky suggested that Lord Casted contracted HIV from having unprotected sexual relations with the opposite gender, contradicting the fan’s claim of getting it from the machine used to draw tattoos on his body.

He warned him to stop mentioning his name in his video and recalled how Lord Casted insulted him after helping him in the past.

Nigerian socialites, Kayode Christiana better known as Berbie doll, and Tasha Amos, have debunked claims that they had an affair and contracted HIV from Lagos businessman, Ikechukwu Ogbonna, better known as IVD.

This comes after an alleged report surfaced online claiming the influencers are part of the Lekki big babes IVD cheated on his wife, Bimbo, with.

Recall that Bimbo passed away over the weekend from the burn injuries she sustained during a domestic fight with IVD who reportedly beat her up at the slightest provocation throughout their 22 years of marriage.

Following her death, an old video where Bimbo claimed her husband was HIV positive was shared online, and it was also alleged that IVD is a serial cheat.

After the popular car dealer’s HIV status became known to the public, a report naming some of the ladies IVD allegedly had an affair with and infected with HIV surfaced online.

Popular businessman, Ikechukwu Ogbonna, better known as IVD, has updated his Instagram display photo with a photo of his late wife, Bimbo Ogbonna, and his children.

This comes days after he was dragged to filth and tagged insensitive for a post he shared on his Instagram page following his wife’s death.

You would recall that moments after Bimbo’s sister, Mama Jazz announced her passing on Saturday morning, IVD shared a series of videos showing his wife destroying his properties. Read here.

Many people who believed IVD should be mourning his wife’s death saw the post as insensitive and disrespectful to the dead and dragged him to filth.

Well, following the backlash, a check on his verified Instagram page shows he has now taken down the posts and changed his display photo to a family photo with his wife and children.

A Nigerian father has said he advised his son not to date any girl who hails from a poor background.

In a tweet shared on his handle, the man stated that from his own dating experience, he has come to understand that most of them don’t believe in love.

He wrote in his tweet,

“I told my son yesterday to avoid dating a girl from a poor background. In my dating experience, most of them don’t believe in love, they just want to escape their unfortunate conditions. More so, they’re the saviors their families are banking on to lift them out of poverty.

In other news, a Nigerian lady set her boyfriend’s apartment in Borokiri, Port Harcourt, on fire in a fit of rage after she reportedly caught him with another woman.

According to viral report, the girlfriend had paid a surprise visit to her boyfriend in his home when she walked in on him with another woman.

A confrontation ensued, after which the boyfriend escorted out the other woman he was with.

Before he returned, his irate girlfriend had cut up all of his clothing with scissors and set fire to his apartment.

On returning to the house, the boyfriend met his apartment in total ruins.

A video shared online by a eyewitness, showed that most of the guy’s belongings, including a TV, fan, toilet, and bed, were burnt beyond repair.

The lady was later nabbed and handed over to the police.

“As the curtain was burning, she now jacked him and was like you will give me this papers today. He pushed her off his body and this got her into the curtain.”

“She suffered from a hundred degree burns. That takes like about of a couple of minutes to get 100 degree burns. When she was on fire, her husband was right in front of her doing nothing.”

He revealed that Bimbo was the one who ran out by herself and asked for help to be taken to any hospital. He shared she was rejected by 10 different hospitals before they finally found one where she was admitted.

When asked about allegations that the late Bimbo helped her husband carry out some ritual exercise, Oyindamola said he can’t confirm the truth in that however, it is something Bimbo could have done because she loved him so much.

He also shared that he isn’t sure if IVD has HIV or not.

This comes after Blessing accused Bimbo of wanting to die and always initiating fights with her husband during her live session with OAP, Daddy Freeze.

The user claims that his friend got pregnant in 2020 but at some point the baby stopped developing, and they were told to end the pregnancy to prevent problems.

Following the birth of the child two years later, the young man referred to the child as a miracle child.

Oyindamola Martins, the younger brother of the late Bimbo Ogbonna, who was married to popular auto dealer Ikechukwu Ogbonna aka IVD, has revealed details of how his sister set fire to their marital home, which ultimately resulted in her death.

In an interview with OAP, DaddyFreeze, Oyindamola stated that the late Bimbo had decided it was time for her to leave her marriage but she did not want to go away without anything. This decision came after many years of misery and physical and emotional torture. He claimed that Bimbo told him that she was unable to just abandon her husband IVD because she had “sacrificed” her life for him.

According to Oyindamola, Bimbo begged her husband to give her the paperwork for their Lagos home so she could take control of it, but he refused. Bimbo, according to him, then swore to set the house on fire in order to keep it away from both of them.

He claimed that Bimbo threatened to hurt herself by pouring kerosene on herself and that IVD, who was at home, was unable to stop her. He claimed that Bimbo then set fire to their curtain while still holding onto IVD, but he shoved her into the blazing curtain burning, where she sustained 100-degree burns.

Regarding claims that Bimbo assisted IVD in doing some sort of ritual activity, Oyindamola stated he could not corroborate them but that it is something Bimbo might have done out of love for him.
He also stated that he knew nothing about IVD’s HIV status either.

Nigerian actress, Amarachi Igidimbah recounts her testimony about how God kept her unborn child alive for eight hours after she nearly passed away while heading to the hospital.

The new mother announced the news on her Instagram page. Her message asserted that only God could have prevented her child’s death on October 9, 2022.

Recall that Bimbo passed away in the early hours of Saturday, October 15, days after she was incinerated during a fight with her husband in their Lekki home.

She took to twitter to call out the immigration “oga” that refused to stamp her passport and narrate how she had to pay an extra cost, despite having a visa that guaranteed her a stress free flight to Dubai.

After checking in, I moved to the immigration section just before the boarding gate, to get my biometrics done and my passport stamped. There’s just one cue but different booths, I’m just there pressing my phone and waiting in line till it’s my turn…This immigrations officer walks up to me and says, “move there”, he points at a counter on the opposite side of where I’m standing, there were 2 people before me on the cue, I didn’t really think about why he skipped them and came to me…I was just happy to get done and go and go and sit down, I was tired of the waka waka. This counter he moved me to, zero cue. I got to the counter, greeted the immigrations officer in the booth and handed him my passport. Next thing, “Hmm where are you traveling to?”. I responded, “Dubai sir”. He made a face while proceeding to scan my data page. “Hmm but are you up to 40?”, I smiled and answered “No sir, you’re with my passport, I’m not 40”. He looks at my passport and looks at me…“Ehn so how come you’re going to Dubai, Dubai is not accepting Nigerians under 40. Let me see your visa”. I handed him a printed copy of my visa, he looked at it and continued the process, “place your right four fingers on the scanner”, I did. After he’s done with the biometric process, he opens a page in my passport booklet and says, “this is where I’m supposed to stamp, but I can’t stamp it until my oga says so, go there and meet him” he points to the “oga” and then faces oga’s direction and says to him “oga, Dubai”. I took my passport and walked towards oga, there’s a young guy and a young babe with him that seemed to be begging him, I’m confused. When I got there, I greeted him “Good evening sir, I was asked to meet you”, He sized me up and said “Ehen where are you going?” I said “Dubai”. “Ehn to do what?” Lifting his shoulder like oga true true .“I’m going to relax”. This man starts telling me that Dubai doesn’t want Nigerians under 40. I said “but I have a visa”, he said he won’t stamp the passport, what do I want to do? Guys, When I say I was confused I face the lady and the guy that were with him before me, “what’s this about”, they whispered, “you know these people, they just want us to settle them”. My head became hot, settle them as how? I have a visa!!! Abi what’s really going on here.The lady and the guy moved to oga and started talking to him (looked like they were negotiating), I was hearing “something something hundred dollars”, in my head, I’m laughing like “huh? what is this really?”. I’m now pacing and pressing my phone, some more people joined us…It was then I noticed all the people they had brought to this aisle were young and going to Dubai it was all a plan to use fear to exploit us. The couple got their passport stamped after paying, oga turned to me and said “it’s in your hands how much do you have?” I also clicked that the 2 people before me on the cue earlier were older, that’s why they were skipped ugh. Realizing what these people were doing made me so upset. I looked at him and said “sir, this money you want to collect from me now, is that what will make Dubai accept me?” He told me my mouth was sharp and I should stand aside so he could attend to those who were “ready”. Nollywood actress, Nkechi Blessing Sunday has said that the only achievement in marriage is children.

The actress to the death of Bimbo, wife of popular car dealer, Ikechukwu Ogbonna made the statement.

Recall that Bimbo had been in ICU after suffering severe burns during a violent fight with her husband in their home in Lagos on Wednesday, October 12, before she passed away on Saturday morning.

“They say marriage is the greatest achievement but many don’t get out alive. Hmmm. Loss for words,” she wrote.

Responding to a follower, she added; “The only achievement there is children, nothing special if you ask me. If marriage no work again carry your marital award (children) and leave to LIVE”

Former beauty queen, Iheoma Emenike, has advised women to walk away from abusive marriages.

Iheoma stated this on Saturday October 15, while reacting to the death of IVD wife, Bimbo, due to alleged domestic violence.

Iheoma said Bimbo’s death should be an encouragement for women in abusive relationships to save themselves from the same fate.

I can’t believe it truly endd in this though it was so glaring it would eventually end in death.

He stated that a woman can show how smart she is in the presence of her kids and during conversations with the general public but never with her husband. He is of the opinion that men will not marry a woman who acts like she is smarter than her husband.

Nigerian singer, Harrison Tare Okiri, known professionally as Harrysong, has recanted his earlier claims that music executive, Soso Soberekon, sent some persons to kill him.

This comes after he was arrested by the police after Soso filed a petition to the Inspector General of Police accusing him of defamation and threat to life.

Recall that the drama started after Harrysong in a recent interview alleged that Soso is not his friend as many believe as he sent people to kill him in Port Harcourt.

Soso did not take the claim lightly and slammed Harrysong with a suit demanding he retracts the statement and pay N500M as compensation. He also threatened to drag him to court if he fails to do so.

He was thereafter picked up by the police and taken into their custody for questioning. Following his failure to provide evidence of his claim, he was forced to apologize to Soso before he was released.

The 41-year-old singer has now retracted his allegations against Soso. Speaking in a video shared online, Harrysong said Soso did not send anyone to kill him as he claimed earlier.

He however stated that the assassination attempt is true but Soso was not the culprit.

Businessman, Ikechukwu Ogbonna, popularly known as IVD, has come under heavy fire on social media after he broke his silence on his wife’s death.

Shortly after Bimbo’s sister Mama Razz announced her passing on Saturday morning, the bereaved husband took to his verified Instagram page to share a series of videos showing his wife destroying his properties.

Recall that Bimbo had been in ICU after suffering severe burns during a violent fight with her husband in their home in Lagos on Wednesday, October 12, before she passed on this morning.

Breaking his silence on the incident leading to his wife’s death, IVD shared never-before-released videos showing what likely transpired between him and his deceased wife on the day of the tragic incident.

In the video, the businessman reveals that he and Bimbo had an argument the previous day, and he returned from work to find his house upside down.

He showed parts of the house that were damaged and set on fire by his wife.

According to him, his wife had been damaging their house items for the past two weeks over an undisclosed issue. He noted that his brother-in-law and their son were witnesses to what transpired.

However, reacting to the posts, netizens who believed the posts were insensitive and believed IVD should be in mourning over his wife’s death lambasted him.

An Instagram follower, Ezinne wrote, “I’m livid!! Just imagine someone that just lost his wife.. IVD is MEAN!!”

The sister of popular Lagos businessman, IVD’s wife, Bimbo Ogbonna has accused her husband of killing her.

Bimbo died on Saturday morning days after she was incinerated in their home in Lagos during a fight with her husband. She’s said to have confronted her husband on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, over the constant beatings she received from him, and a fight ensued.

Bimbo’s sister, popularly known as Mama Jazz confirmed her death in an Instagram post this morning and shared more details about the incident that led to her death.

Mama Jazz alleged that IVD pushed his wife into the fire, watched her burn and filmed her as she was groaning in pain.

She, also confirmed that the popular businessman, had absconded following his gruesome act.

“You pushed her into the fire, you watched her burn, you videoed her. You burnt me, this fire is burning. IVD oooo, you are on the run”, she said amid tears.”

The Ooni of Ife, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, has officially married his fourth wife, Princess Ashley Adegoke.

The wedding ceremony of the monarch and Princess Ashley, who is based in the UK, was held on Friday, October 14, at the bride’s family house situated on Olubose Street, along Ede Road, IIe-Ife.

Princess Ashley would be the King’s fourth wife, as he already has three wives, whom he married within two months.

Ooni married Tobi Phillips as his third wife on Sunday, October 9, only weeks after he married Olori Mariam Anako and Olori Elizabeth Opeoluwa Ogunwusi in September.

It was gathered that the Yoruba monarch was not in attendance at his wedding ceremony to Queen Ashley yesterday but his chiefs, royal guards and royal staff of office were there to represent him.

This is however the Ooni’s seventh marriage. Before his coronation in 2016, Oba Adeyeye was previously married to Adebukola Bombata in 2008, but the marriage failed after his coronation.

After being crowned, Ooni married Edo-born Zainab-Otiti Obanor in 2016, the union lasted for 17 months before their separation. He then married Naomi Silekunola in 2018.

His marriage to Queen Silenkuola barely lasted three years as she announced her separation from him in December 2021.

A Nigerian lady has set her boyfriend’s apartment in Borokiri, Port Harcourt, on fire in a fit of rage after she reportedly caught him with another woman.

According to viral report, the girlfriend had paid a surprise visit to her boyfriend in his home when she walked in on him with another woman.

A confrontation ensued, after which the boyfriend escorted out the other woman he was with.

Before he returned, his irate girlfriend had cut up all of his clothing with scissors and set fire to his apartment.

On returning to the house, the boyfriend met his apartment in total ruins.

A video shared online by a eyewitness, showed that most of the guy’s belongings, including a TV, fan, toilet, and bed, were burnt beyond repair.

The lady was later nabbed and handed over to the police.

This comes after a 20-year-old Ghanaian Girl, Priscilla Berfi, rendered her boyfriend homeless after she set his house on fire for allegedly cheating on her.

The house, located at Debuako in the Oforikrom Constituenc of the Ashanti Region was seriously on fire, but no casualties was recorded. The fire destroyed several properties though.

According to Pulse Ghana, the boyfriend, Kofi Adusei said he had ceased taking care of Priscilla, who is pregnant due to her bad attitude and lack of respect towards him.

He said Priscilla visited him on the night of the incident but they had a misunderstanding so he decided not to spend the night in the same room with her. Read here.

Men of the Ogun state Police Command have arrested a 39-year-old man, Mfon Jeremiah, for impregnating his 13-year-old daughter (name withheld) in the Mowe area of the state.

The suspect was arrested after the victim’s mother lodged a complaint at Mowe divisional headquarters when she discovered that her daughter was pregnant and her husband was responsible.

It was learnt that she took the minor to the hospital where it was confirmed that she is four months pregnant. After pressing to know who impregnated her, the 13-year-old girl disclosed that it was her father.

Following the complaint, the DPO, SP Folake Afeniforo, quickly mobilized some officers to the suspect’s house where he was picked up and taken into custody.

Upon interrogation, the suspect confessed to sleeping with his daughter which resulted in the pregnancy but claimed he was under a spell when he committed the act.

According to him, he was ‘dreaming’ of having sex with his wife because they had split up, when he suddenly realized that it was his daughter he was having sex with.

The Commissioner of Police, CP Lanre Bankole, has directed that the suspect be transferred to anti-human trafficking and child labour unit of the state Criminal Investigation Departments for further investigation.
