Presidential candidate of the ruling party, All Progressives Congress, Bola Ahmed Tinubu misspoke and prayed for the opposing party, Peoples Democratic Party during the flag-off of his presidential rally in Jos.

The former governor tried to pray for his political party but spelled out P.D.P instead.
In his words;
“God bless Nigeria, God bless P.D… A.P.C! A.P.C! God bless A.P.C”

Following the mistake, some audience members showed their dismay by covering their faces with their hands, but he swiftly corrected himself by praying for the A.P.C.

In related news, Anambra State Governor, Charles Chukwuma Soludo, has said Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, knows he can’t and won’t win the presidential election in 2023.

He made this statement in a press release on Monday, November 14, while reacting to the backlash he received over a comment he made during his recent interview with Channels TV.

He had said that the investments Peter Obi made during his tenure as Anambra State governor is currently next to nothing.

This infuriated many Nigerians and they slammed him for it. Politician, Babatunde Gbadamosi, who also reacted to the statement, said Soludo is only ‘jealous’ of Peter Obi because he ‘wants to stop any Igbo man from getting the presidency before himself’.

Reacting to the backlash and allegations, Soludo released a lengthy statement that reads in part,

“Let’s be clear: Peter Obi knows that he can’t and won’t win. “He knows the game he is playing, and we know too; and he knows that we know.

The game he is playing is the main reason he didn’t return to APGA. The brutal truth (and some will say, God forbid) is that there are two persons/parties seriously contesting for president: the rest is exciting drama! That many Americans may not like the fact that Joe Biden (79 years) and Donald Trump (76 years) are two frontrunners for president in their parties does not remove the fact that if both of them emerge as candidates, definitely one of them will be president in 2024.

When the revered Arch Bishop Chukwuma stated that in Enugu State, they were not obedient, he was ferociously bullied on social media. Popular Nollywood actress, Iheme Nancy, has confirmed the alleged deteriorating mental condition of veteran actor, Hanks Anuku.

A video of a man roaming the streets in tattered clothes, whom many believed to be the actor, surfaced online on Monday, November 14, and sparked concern from fans and well-meaning Nigerians.

The unsettling video shows the man, who bears the same physical appearance as the thespian, looking unkempt and haggard on the streets and talking to himself as people recorded him.

However, his colleague, Shan George, immediately debunked speculations that he’s unwell and shared photos and a video of herself and Hanks working on the set of a movie in Asaba a few days ago.

Well, while actress Shan George claims Hanks is doing fine, fellow Nollywood stars Adanma Luke and Iheme Nancy insist that Hanks is unwell and berated Shan for trying to cover up his troubles rather than helping him get help.

According to Nancy, the majority of Asaba residents and actors are aware of Hanks’ condition. She also recounted an encounter with him at a restaurant where he almost beat her up for no reason.

“I have been trying to keep calm and mind my business since yesterday but my conscience wouldn’t let me, this disturbing video of Legendary Uncle Hanks Anuku surfaced on internet which is true, which is his reality @shangeorgefilms came out to debunk it instead of letting him get the help he needs atlast, instead of allowing people help him you cancelled a truth. Why na? Uncle Hanks condition is not a secret to any Asaba based actor neither is it to most Asaba resident as most people have seen him in different odd locations in abnormal state.

Personally I have had an encounter with him at 1side bar where I normally buy fish pepper soup whenever I’m in Asaba, this incident happened last month on the 27th of October, where he almost beat me up for no reason, he said some hurting words to me and @ujunwa_aninneji but we kept calm because he wasn’t himself, from that day I prayed he could get help and finally yesterday that God was about to answer that prayer, you stopped it for reasons best known to you. Recall that on Monday, November 14, Hank was captured in a video roaming the streets in dirty clothes and acting in a suspicious manner.

This stirred concern among the Nigerian populace and they went online to express worry about the state of Hank’s mental health.

However, his colleague, Shan George, in a post shared on her Instastory, debunked claims that Hank is going through a hard time. She also shared pictures she allegedly took with him on a movie set few days ago to quell the speculations.

Nigerian twin brothers, Taiwo and Kehinde Sanuade have been awarded first-class degrees in law by the University of Ibadan.

The good news was announced by Taiwo on social media.

In other news, a young man has faced heavy criticism on social media for the way he treated his mother at his graduation ceremony.

In a video serving the round online, the young man who was graduating and dressed in a black graduation garb walked out on his mother, who tried to offer him a ribbon.

The mum, who was visibly ecstatic that her son was graduating, dashed towards him with a floral ribbon to place on his neck, but he clearly wasn’t having it.

As his mother got to him with the blue ribbon and attempted to place it on his neck, he used his hand to shove the ribbon aside before he walked out.

A Nigerian woman identified as Blesing has shared the conundrum her pregnant friend found herself in.

According to Blexing, the girl became pregnant, some days to her wedding and she had no idea what to do. She couldn’t keep the baby because her religion would not wed her if she did.

A 30-year-old Prophet Joseph Ogundeji of the Cherubim and Seraphim Church in Ajuwon, was detained by Ogun State Police Command officers for reportedly defiling two underage sisters who are members of his church.

The suspect was apprehended on November 11, 2022, as a result of a complaint made by the fathers of the two minor girls to the Ajuwon divisional headquarters. He claimed to have learned that his 16-year-old daughter is pregnant, and upon asking who was to blame for the pregnancy, learned that the prophet was responsible.

The state police command’s spokesperson, SP Abimbola Oyeyemi, stated that in response to the report, the DPO Ajuwon division, SP Andrew Akinseye, assigned his detectives to arrest the prophet.

In Oyeyemi’s words:

“On interrogation, the prophet admitted that he actually committed the crime. In the course of investigation, it was discovered that the said prophet did not only have carnal knowledge of the 16 years old girl, but her 13 years old younger sister too was defiled by the same prophet.
The two victims informed the police that whenever they had vigil in the church, the prophet who lives very close to the church would asked them to go and stay in his house after the vigil which always comes to an end around 3 am.
They stated further that anytime they stay in the prophet’s house, he used to give them something to lick, and after licking it, they will sleep off only to wake up and discover that the prophet had had sex with them.”

The spokesperson stated that when the victims were questioned by the police about why they didn’t tell their parents, they told them that the suspect had threatened to murder any of them who revealed the identity of the suspect.

The suspect has been transferred to the state’s criminal investigation department’s anti-human trafficking and child labor unit for additional investigation and potential prosecution, under the direction of police commissioner CP Lanre Bankole.

Controversial twitter doctor, Dr. Peking has stirred reactions from netizens after explaining why mosquitoes attack humans.

According to the doctor, the insects only attack when they are pregnant and need blood to make their eggs grow, killing them meant ending an entire bloodline.

In other news, Veteran music artiste, Blackface of defunct Plantashun Boiz, has called out music superstars, Burna Boy and Wizkid, for allegedly sampling his song without giving him credit.

Blackface, in a post shared on his Instagram page, accused the entertainers of sampling his song ‘Twist and Turn’ in their featured song ‘Ginger’, off Wizkid’s 2020 album, Made in Lagos.

‘Beast of no Nation’ actor, Strika begs for help after he was spotted selling coconuts on the street for survival

Ghanaian actor, Emmanuel Nii Adom, popularly known for his role as Strika in the 2015 Netflix film, ‘Beast of No Nation’, has been captured selling coconut on the street of Ghana for survival.

In a video showing the current condition of the one-hit wonder actor, he is seen hawking coconut from a wheelbarrow on the street.

After the video went viral, Quaye, who is obviously struggling to make ends meet, appealed to his countrymen to come to his aid.

This is not the first time his predicament is made known to the public as in 2018, news made rounds that he was begging on the streets of Ghana for survival.

At the time, he said, “After the movie, I was to be paid 1% of the profit ($30,000) made from the movie. They told me it’s in the bank but I am yet to see the money”.

Speaking in a recent interview on Funny Love Radio, Quaye said things have gone from bad to worse for him, and people will cry if they see where he sleeps.

When asked how he spent the money he made from ‘Beast of No Nation’, he said the money never got to him and he was forced to return back to the street to hustle for survival after the movie.

He further appealed to movie producers to cast him in movies, skits or even short comedy series because he is a good actor.

A Nigerian woman, identified as Patience Sopuru Davidson, was sentenced to one month in prison for alleged negligence in the United Arab Emirates.

A Twitter user @Chetexxx5, who claims to be a relative of the embattled woman, took to the microblogging platform to raise alarm about her predicament on Monday, November 14.

@Chetexxx5 said her younger sister who works as a caregiver at Al Ain Center for Care and Rehabilitation Center of Disabled in Abu Dhabi was jailed for spending 30 minutes in the bathroom which led to one of her students cutting his ear.

According to @Chetexxx5, Sopuru was supposed to complete her jail sentence on October 15, 2022, but they have not heard anything from her since then.

She wrote,

“Salam halaikum, I want to bring to you notice about my younger sister who is a caregiver at Al-Ain center for care and rehabilitation, on the 15th of September 2022, we got a message from her ex colleague that she was arrested for staying 30 minutes in the bathroom and one of her students cut his ears by himself,” the tweet reads.

“She was taken to the police station in Al-Ain and immediately jailed for a month for her negligence, October 15th is believed to be a month, till date we have not heard from my sister, the HR are not replying us

“Her passport was seized, no call, messages from the HR to we her family till date, and every attempt to hear from my sister is blocked by their female supervisor who from day one has sworn to frustrate her in that job. My sister’s name is DAVIDSON PATIENCE SOPURUCHI. Please help,”

Apart from our family alter to the omnipresent, omniscient, omnipotent and omni-loving God who has been our anchor and perpetual help, the following is the simple marriage compass we set for ourselves,” he wrote.

This implies that even though marriage is “for better or for worse”, we shall work hard to be channels of the better and team up to abate or manage the “worse” when it comes from extraneous factors. The “worse” in marriage should not proceed from any of the partners.

4. Realizing that we are imperfect and pursuant to paragraph 3 above, we resolved that in times of misunderstanding, suspicion, actual provocations or outright search for each other’s trouble, we do them and react to them like friends. We particularly fixed boundary on how to react to negative conducts from each other: That boundary is to react as friends and not as enemies. Truly, the way an offended friend reacts to an offence is significantly different from the way an enemy reacts.

5. As a follow-up to 4 above, we made forgiveness, penitence and humily important ingredients of our daily lives. Hence, for us, no offence is too big to be forgiven, but the forgiven must terminate the offence and make necessary amendments.

6. We also closed all gaps and have minimal or near-zero secrets between us: We know our respective screen locks, e-mail passwords, ATM pin numbers, our friends, bank accounts and their balances, locations, what makes each other happy and so on.

7. We have never involved a third party in our marriage; but we have never made hearty discussions and resolutions difficult.”

The actress, who gained popularity after playing the role of ‘Kiki’ in Funke Akindele’s Jenifa’s Diary, had gone online to share new photos of her holding a bouquet of flowers to celebrate herself for her hardwork.

A lady’s rather cold reaction to a surprise party that her friends threw for her on her birthday has sparked reactions online.

A video currently making the rounds online shows the moment the celebrant walked into a room of cheering friends but appeared to snub them.

As she walked into the decorated room filled with her friends, who screamed “surprise” as soon as she stepped in, the lady just maintained a straight face and walked off.

Her cold reaction to the surprise didn’t sit well with a number of social media users, who lambasted her for not appreciating her friends’ efforts to make her day.

Ozonna, one of the sons of Anambra State Governor, Charles Soludo, has declared his support for the presidential candidate of Labour Party, Peter Obi.

This is coming after his father said Peter Obi doesn’t stand a chance in the 2023 presidential election. According to Soludo, Peter Obi knows ‘he can’t and won’t win’ the election, and he’s only playing a game which they are all aware of.

Soludo also rubbished the investments Peter Obi made during his tenure as the Governor of Anambra State, claiming that the investment is valueless and currently worth next to nothing.

His statement caused quite a stir in the political scene and Nigerians also went online to criticize Soludo.

Reacting to a Facebook post in which Soludo’s family were referenced, Ozonna said he doesn’t want to be dragged into the charade because he’s not an extension of anybody.

He added that he thinks Peter Obi is the best candidate for the presidency eventhough his father’s conflict with Obi has nothing to do with him.

A Nigerian evangelist, popularly known as Ikuku, has cried out online about how he no longer finds his wife of five years to be sexually appealing.

In the sincere and lengthy social media post, Ikuku, who revealed that he and his wife never got intimate until after marriage, said while he still loves her dearly, he’s no longer sexually attracted to her.

He said when they first got married, he was sexually attracted to her, but as the years went by, this changed, and now he even finds it difficult to make love to her.

Veteran music artiste, Blackface of defunct Plantashun Boiz, has called out music superstars, Burna Boy and Wizkid, for allegedly sampling his song without giving him credit.

Blackface, in a post shared on his Instagram page, accused the entertainers of sampling his song ‘Twist and Turn’ in their featured song ‘Ginger’, off Wizkid’s 2020 album, Made in Lagos.

Sharing a video snippet of the song he claimed they copied, Blackface said they should have asked for permission before sampling his music. He however urged Wizkid and Burna Boy to contact him privately.

He wrote,

In a trending video, the young man who revealed he’s HIV positive detailed how he spent his money buying clothes, drinks, and wigs for the women he had intimate moments with.

Noting that he was not born with HIV, he claims to have had sexual relations with different women. He says that as a result of his philandering ways, he doesn’t know who in particular infected him with the disease.

Self-styled relationship expert, Blessing Okoro has disclosed that she spent over N3 million on her liposuction procedure.

Recall that the controversial influencer underwent the surgery in June 2022 and shared daily updates about her recovery online.

Speaking in a recent chat with media personality, Nedu, on “The Frankly Speaking Podcast”, where they discussed the topic, “Is body enhancement a reaction to insecurity?”, Blessing disclosed that she did her surgery in the Lekki area of Lagos.

Speaking on her experience going under the knife, the mother-of-two said she specifically told the doctor that she didn’t want a very big bum as she wants her old clothes to still fit.
