After 9 weeks of silence since her video resurfaced accusing an ex who netizens deciphered to be Sheggz, the lady identified as BeautybyBemi finally spoke up and explained her side of the story.

A young Nigerian man, identified simply as Faisal Arts, has been applauded on social media after he built a tricycle, also known as Keke Napep, from scratch in Kano.

Photos of the ideation process, design, construction and testing of the tricycle surfaced online recently and netizens couldn’t help but applaud the brilliance of the young man.

It was gathered that Faisal fabricated the tricycle with local steel at his workshop in Kano state.

The photos making the rounds online shows the moment he was welding the steel together before bringing the computer-aided design to life.

After completing the tricycle, Faisal took it for a spin on a major road in Kano state and it actually works!

The 67-year-old ambulance driver admitted in a recent phone interview with a reporter from Vanguard that he had never anticipated his child would bring him such a beautiful accomplishment.

Nigerian soldier arrested for selling and hiring guns to kidnappers.

Operatives of the Department of State Service (DSS) have arrested a soldier attached to the Muhammadu Buhari Cantonment in Tungan-Maje, Abuja, for allegedly hiring out and selling guns to kidnappers.

The soldier, identified simply as Nafiu, was arrested last week around Dankogi Park in Zuba in collaboration with members of the Vigilante Group of Nigeria in the area.

DailyTrust reports that the DSS from the Gwagwalada office sought the assistance of the local security group in Zuba to arrest the suspect based on previous arms deal allegations against him.

According to a source, “It was learned that the suspect, in the first deal, had allegedly hired out a gun for a kidnap operation for N300,000. Then in the second instance, they contacted him for another deal and demanded N200,000 which the kidnappers allegedly paid, but he failed to produce the gun.”

The source said when the kidnappers, who had been in DSS custody, made the allegation against the soldier, a sting operation was planned against him.

“So they contacted him for another deal to supply them with AK-47s to buy at the cost of N3 million. We went to the agreed site on the delivery day here in Zuba and took the position. He arrived at the scene in his car to present the arm, and that was the time we came out and caught him with the gun well wrapped.” he added.

An AK-47 rifle as well as a fully loaded magazine with 30 rounds of ammunition were found inside one of the safe compartments of his car.

A woman has been celebrated on social media and also by friends and family for going against all odds in order to complete her one-year compulsory National Youth Service.

The National Youth Service Corps is a program set up by the Nigerian government during the military regime to involve Nigerian graduates in nation building and the development of the country.

In other news, A physically challenged member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Peter Gwer, has donated 50 sets of wheelchair to other physically challenged persons.

Speaking in an interview with The Nation in Makurdi, Benue State, the corps Member said as someone on a wheel chair himself, he knew what it means to be physically challenged.

In his words – “I have taken it upon myself to alleviate the hardship of people who cannot move around for the sake of their disability because I’m physically challenged too.

“Our society does not care enough for the physically challenged persons. They are the poorest in our society not because they want to be poor.

“Physically challenged persons cannot get decent jobs; not because they cannot work. But these and other hardships we suffer are because our society erroneously feels that a disability in the leg equals a disability in the human mind. So, they deny the physically challenged persons opportunities.”

Lady almost goes into trance, sheds tears of joy as longtime boyfriend proposes to her in church (Video)

A video serving the rounds online captures the moment a young man proposed to his girlfriend during a church service.

In the trending clip, the young lady, who is a church worker, was busy with the Lord’s work when her boyfriend got down on both knees to propose marriage to her.

The lady dressed in a white shirt and black skirt was busy praying as she held the offering box. Unbeknownst to her, her man had knelt on both knees, waiting for her to finish praying for her to pop the question.

As she concluded her prayers, her man, who was already kneeling behind with the ring, tapped her. When she saw him in that position, she was moved to tears and continued to thank God, as if her long-standing prayer had been answered.

She finally faced her man, stretching her hands forward as he slid the ring on her finger.

At one point in the video, she almost went into a trance. Her mood suddenly changed, as she held on to her body, swaying dramatically back and forth, until some church officials stepped in to support her.

The video was shared on TikTok with the caption, “When you’ve been waiting your whole life this day”.

Popular Nigerian Singer, David Adeleke, has hinted that he will get married to the mother of his son, Chioma Avril, next year.

It is no longer news that the famous couple recently rekindled their relationship and it has been making the headlines everyday.

Davido and Chioma recently had a meeting with famous flamboyant Pastor, Tobi Adegboyega, and while they were exchanging pleasantries, Pastor Tobi called Chioma “Our real wife” and the ever-happy Davido responded by saying 100 percent, it is going down 2023.

The Interpretation fans got from Davido’s words was that he’d be getting married to Chioma next year and we honestly can’t wait to see the lovebirds finally tie the nuptial knots after so many years together.

The couple, first announced their engagement and welcomed their son in 2019.

A Nigerian lady with TikTok handle @ask_of_tori has taken to the platform to share a video of the unconventional but sweet way her boyfriend proposed to her.

The man, who is evidently not a fan of loud gestures, simply proposed to her in their home without the usual rose petals, red-themed décor and romantic music associated with surprise proposals.

In the video currently trending online, the couple were chilling and sharing a plate of noodles in the living room when the man brought out the engagement ring and slipped it on her finger without uttering a word.

The lady was surprised at his apathy towards the proposal and questioned why he didn’t kneel down to propose or officially ask her to be his wife like most men do when proposing to their partners.

“Baby, you didn’t even kneel down. You didn’t even say, ‘will you marry me?’.. Nothing, nothing“, she complained.

Humorously, the man, who was enjoying the plate of noodles, simply asserted that she would definitely marry him so there was no need to go the extra mile to propose to her when he would obviously get a YES.

Tanzanian football official buys brand new car for his first wife to “wipe away her tears” after he married another woman

A prominent football official in Tanzania, Haji Sunday Manara, has gifted his wife, Rubyana, a brand-new car as a consolation for taking another wife.

The spokesperson of the Tanzanian Premier League side, Yanga Sports Club, married a second wife, Rusha, in April, 2022.

According to Haji, he bought the car for his first wife to wipe away her tears as his decision to marry another wife was very painful for her.

“It’s not normal for me to gift someone in public. We have a culture that we inherited from our great-grandfathers; when you marry a new wife, the culture of the Dar es Salaam people dictates that you should give the first wife something to wipe her tears away.

The culture dictates that she is given something in front of her family and her friends. When you look at my first and second weddings they featured prominently online and that is why I thought to gift her here,” Haji said.

He added that his new marriage was difficult for his first wife but she is a Muslim woman who is obligated to adhere to the teachings of Islam.

“I thought of buying my wife a car …it’s not very expensive but I gave her after seeing that she had desired it while on the road. I do this to ensure that my women are happy just like I am. Marrying another wife when you have a wife is very painful. We do not do this to hurt them but we do so for biological and physical reasons,” he said.

Haji’s first wife, Rubyana, on her part, said she was happy about the new gift.

“As the first wife and leader, I am not only welcoming her but also the two others on the way. I am very happy my husband,” she said.

Meanwhile, taking to Instagram on Friday, October 7,2022, Manara shared photos of himself with his wives.

“If you hear a debate stop me, this is it now. And now I have changed my number, hahaha why joy!!. When God blesses you with such good wives, what else do you need other than to continue thanking and worshiping him? I feel like a king between two queens, and by the power of God I pray that they die for me these creatures, so that I meet them in heaven Insha’Allah. A show promoter identified as Alaafin Washington has shared the alleged reason why controversial singer, Portable, was denied a visa by the American embassy.

Portable had earlier taken to social media to cry out after he was denied visa five times by the American embassy.

In a video he shared on social media narrating his plight, he called out a show promoter who made arrangements for him to attend an event in the US and paid him N3 million upfront.

According to him, the promoter deliberately wanted to make him travel with 10 people whom he didn’t even know in an effort to sabotage his chances of getting a visa.

Portable said the promoter sent 10 other people to the embassy on the day of his interview and informed the authorities that he was their leader, which made the embassy deny them visa.

Portable said since he was denied visa and could no longer attend the show in the US, the organizers are demanding N20 million for damages.

Portable accused the promoter of trying to ruin his career and rip him off with the well planned sabotage.

However, in a viral video, show promoter Alaafin Washington shared an entirely different story.

He alleged that Portable insulted the immigration officer and consular on his first day at the embassy.

Speaking further, Alaafin expressed fear that Portable might never get to visit the US, even in the future because of his conduct.

Popular Nigerian gospel singer, Frank Edwards has reacted to reports of him engaging Deborah Enenche, daughter of Pastor Paul Enenche of Dunamis International Gospel Center.

The rumour started making rounds after Deborah took to Facebook on Sunday, October 2, to share a picture of herself flaunting a diamond engagement ring without sharing details of her ‘partner’.

The post sparked excitement in the Christian community online and they flooded her comment section with congratulatory messages, though they had no idea who the lucky man is.

Days after, an unconfirmed report emerged that Deborah was engaged to gospel artiste, Frank Edwards, and they are set to tie the knot soon.

A photo of Deborah and Frank Edwards also circulated on social media which made many believe that the duo were indeed engaged.

Well, Frank Edwards, in a post shared on his Instagram page, has now dismissed the report as false, and told his followers to disregard the fake news.

He wrote;
