Andrea Ekeng Inyang, the special assistant on strategic communication to Cross River Governor, Ben Ayade, has advised men against marrying women who drink beer in public.
Inyang, who gave this in a Facebook post, said men who marry such women will not find peace in the marriage.
“Don’t marry any woman that sits in public to drink Gulder beer. You won’t find peace in that marriage.” he wrote.

A while ago, Inyang opined that a serious man will not date a lady for more than one year before marrying her.
He made this assertion while advising single ladies not to scare off real suitors while claiming to be in a relationship with a man who has no intention of settling down with them.
According to him, a lady remains officially single until she’s married.
“Until you are married, you remain officially single. Stop wearing uniforms like couple around the streets with pictures of you both all over social media because you may actually be scaring off your real suitor. A serious man will not date you more than 1 year. If you like hear, if you don’t continue telling people you have a serious relationship.” He wrote.
Charles Chukwuma Onwuemelie, a 29-year-old resident of Quartz Hill was arrested on the 23rd of September for allegedly committing 68 robberies just 5 months after hosting a very extravagant wedding in the United state
According to investigations, a total of 68 armed business robberies have been linked to the same suspect since October of 2021. It is reported that the Robberies took place throughout Los Angeles County and the City of Los Angeles.
During their investigation, detectives discovered that the suspect frequently covered the handgun used in the robberies at gas stations, 7-11s, and Walmart’s with a blue cloth. The suspect would disguise himself by wearing various hats, a face mask, and rubber gloves. The same vehicle was used in many of the robberies, and several factors led to the identification of the same suspect.
Charles Chukwuma Onwuemelie was arrested at his residence. Evidence further linking him to the robberies was also recovered at scene, including a firearm.
On September 27, the Los Angeles District Attorney’s office filed 16 counts of 211 P.C. – Robbery, for the robberies that occurred in the City of Los Angeles.

Meanwhile, Chidera had earlier disclosed that she was diagnosed with schizophrenia in a Father’s day post she shared on Facebook.
The first class graduate wrote,
“When I was first diagnosed of schizophrenia, this man cried so much that I got scared. He went to the Holy Eucharist with me everyday and prayed for me for roughly one month,” the message partly read.

A Nigerian woman has taken to social media to express her excitement after finding a £5 note in a pair of jeans she bought from the market.
The lady, simply identified as Omotoyosi on Twitter, said she had gotten the jeans a month ago and found the pound note with the late Queen Elizabeth’s image in the pocket when she tried to wear them on Sunday.
She shared a photo of the £5 note she found in the trouser on her Twitter page and asked her followers for the money’s worth.

In a gory incident, the decomposed bodies of two missing women have been found buried in the office of a medical doctor, identified as Abass Adio Adebowale Adeyemi, in Kwara state.
The doctor was earlier arrested for the murder of a cab driver, Emmanuel Yobo Agbovinuere, and absconding with his vehicle in Edo state. He also confessed to killing his girlfriend, named Ifeoluwa, who was declared missing in Ilorin in 2021.
The doctor, who has been labelled a ‘serial killer’, is the Chief Medical Director of Kaiama General Hospital in Ilorin.
After he was arrested for the murder of the cab driver in Edo state, a high-powered investigation was launched into the case of a missing woman, identified as Nofisat Halidu, in Ilorin.

During investigation, the police forced open the door of the doctor’s office and found a suspicious sight – a freshly cemented portion of the tiled floor. The floor was broken and the decomposed body of a yet-to-be identified woman was found in the shallow grave.
The officers further searched the office and found a trash can where the remains of another woman who was later identified as the missing woman, Nofisat Halidu, was found.
The Kwara State Commissioner of Police has contacted the Edo State Police command to release the suspect to the Kwara State Police Command for further questioning and investigation.

Award-winning movie producer, Kunle Afolayan has recounted how his late father, Adeyemi Afolayan otherwise known as Adelove, discouraged him and his siblings from delving into the movie industry.
Kunle, whose father was one of the pioneers of film-making in Nigeria and has three siblings in Nollywood, in a recent interview, disclosed that his father wanted them to pursue other careers because film-making was not lucrative in his time.
The ace film-maker however said he was hellbent on becoming a movie producer because he saw a gap in the industry that he wanted to fill.
Speaking about his father, the 48-year-old actor said,
“He said there was no money. Just go and be a lawyer.
“My father completely discouraged any of us from going into acting or filmmaking. He said do you want to be running around like I’m running around.
“And those were things I learned which helped me structure the business side of what I do because I don’t want to end up like them.
“I remember after he passed then Nollywood came and then I would see these films with beautiful stories then I would be comparing them to the film of my dad and Ogunde with the production quality but how come the audio is bad, how come the makeup is lousy, how can we do and this and I said ok I want to be a filmmaker, I never said I wanted to be an actor.

As one would expect, people took screenrecording before she could take down the video and she was ridiculed on social media.
Following the backlash that ensued, the actress offered an explanation. She disclosed that she was getting a wax and was sending the streak to Skiibii when she accidentally uploaded it on her Snapchat story.
She wrote –
Guys please I was getting a wax and I sent a streak to him that I accidentally posted to my story.
I need the ground to swallow me up rn… byeee.

A Nigerian man, Oluwafemi Durojaye, has taken to social media to share how he became the first person in his generation to Board a plane, travel overseas and gain Canadian Permanent Residency.
Oluwafemi made the disclosure while celebrating his new age and he enlightened youths on the reason they should use LinkedIn and the opportunities they can get from it.

“Today is my birthday and I am more than happy to be celebrating my 26th birthday in Canada 🇨🇦
I received more than 1000 DMs of people asking me about how I got the opportunity to travel to Canada on LinkedIn.
My apologies to those that got my response late and also to some that I have not responded to
Truly, some miracles are unexplainable just like the one I experienced but I’ve promised to come back to share the story. So, I’ll try my best
It has been my goal to work overseas. I signed into LinkedIn in 2018 because of this and I got my passport in 2020 with the hope of getting an opportunity
I started building a network around my preferred location and I was able to build more than 1700 connections from Canada here on LinkedIn in 2 years. I sent so many applications both on LinkedIn and Job Bank with no positive result
I would work during the day and still stay up at night because that is the best time to reach out to my prospects. I did this for more than 2 years
Long story short, on one faithful day around January 2022. I received a DM from one of my connections in Canada with a compliment about one post that I made that very day.
I can’t remember the time we got connected but I know it was around last year 2021
I thanked him for his compliment and I told him about my interest in coming to Canada
Before I knew it, he sent me his contact and we got connected on WhatsApp
He opened a WhatsApp group and named it ‘Oluwafemi’s Conquest’ and he added some people that could be of help.
He recommended me to an Employer in Canada and I was offered a job and sponsorship because of his recommendation
He supported me during the whole visa process and on the day of my arrival, He sent someone to come and pick me up at the airport to my destination. What would have cost me more than $100
He took me out for a lunch and not only that, he gave me a laptop so I can stay connected
The phone I brought from Nigeria didn’t work here. This same connection gave me an iPhone
He gave me some money and made sure everything goes well for me
And most importantly he gave me a note about how I can have and successful journey here in Canada and this helped me to be able to set another goal.
That is not all but it’s okay, I know he may not like to see that I came here to post about this

Big Brother Naija season 7 housemate, Adekunle, took a swipe at fellow housemate, Bella, during a fight over dirty plates on Friday morning.
The drama started when Bella spotted a plate Adekunle had used to eat dinner the night before on the table. She queried why he left a dirty plate on the table and accused him of being one of those who pile their plates in the house sink without washing them.
Adekunle then tried to explain that he deliberately left the plate on the table so he could wash it when he was ready and his plate wouldn’t get mixed up with the piled up dirty plates in the sink.
However, Bella wasn’t having his explanation as she continued to tackle him for not washing his plate after eating.
As they went back and forth with Adekunle trying to justify his action, he took a swipe at Bella, stating that she’s not intelligent.
As he left the lounge to the kitchen to do the dish, Adekunle said it was pointless trying to explain himself to Bella as she’s not brilliant.
“I’m just wasting my energy explaining to you, you are not particularly brilliant”, he told Bella.
Twitter personality,Sally Suleiman, has caused quite a stir on social media after she averred that a wedding that costs N10 million is a small wedding.
Sally, in her tweet, opined that N10 million is not enough to finance a big wedding in Nigeria considering the present reality and it’s for people in ‘middle class trenches’.
According to her, she planned a family member’s wedding with a budget of N10 million in 2014 and it didn’t do much, talk less of now.
She tweeted,
“10million naira in today’s world is not a big wedding. I would describe it as the people who are in middle class trenches. I can break that 10million naira down for you as someone who planned a fam’s wedding with 10million in 2014 and it was nothing fantastic, not to talk of now.”

A young man has faced heavy criticism on social media for the way he treated his mother at his graduation ceremony.
In a video serving the round online, the young man who was graduating and dressed in a black graduation garb walked out on his mother, who tried to offer him a ribbon.
The mum, who was visibly ecstatic that her son was graduating, dashed towards him with a floral ribbon to place on his neck, but he clearly wasn’t having it.
As his mother got to him with the blue ribbon and attempted to place it on his neck, he used his hand to shove the ribbon aside before he walked out.
According to him, it was embarrassing to see her bringing a ribbon to place on his neck amid the crowd during his graduation.
The mother glanced at the ribbon as he walked away, looking dejected.
The video has since gone viral and prompted a deluge of comments from social media users, the majority of whom berated the youngster and accused him of humiliating his mother.
