A dog has been dubbed as the “world’s most useless guard dog” after it was spotted lying down beside its owners during a drug raid.
In a footage that was shared online, cops are seen arresting three men on a ranch in Hortolandia, Sao Paulo state, Brazil. The three suspects were seen lying face-down on the floor with their hands cuffed behind their backs.
Their massive Rottweiler decided that it’s best to be compliant with officers and also laid down beside them.
Officers seized 1,176 bricks containing 1.1 tonnes of cannabis from the property. Narcotics Police said the drugs was shipped to the house in Hortolandia from Campo Grande, Mato Grosso do Sul state.
It is believed the drugs were to be sold in and around Campinas, Sao Paulo state.
While the men, one of whom owns the house, were taken to the Narcotics Police headquarters in nearby Americana, the dog remained in the property with the woman who owns the land around the house, who police say is not involved in drug trafficking.
It was also revealed that cops will return to the ranch to check on the Rottweiler and two other dogs to see if animal protection services are needed.
A Nigerian lady took to Twitter to narrate how she unexpectedly received a credit alert from an unknown person but was later able to discover who it was making a few actions.
According to the lady, with handle @Cruella_D_Vel on Twitter, after she got received the alert, she waited for the person to call her but didn’t receive any call and for a moment she forgot about it until later, when she decided to search for the person on social media using the full name of the sender the alert showed.
She revealed she was able to get a hold of the person on Facebook — the person had also tried means of reaching her after erroneously crediting her account but to no avail.
As a token of appreciation, the lady then asked that @Cruella_D_Vel keep 10% of the money for herself and send her the remaining. However, @Cruella_D_Vel had already sent the total money back to her.
The lady still was grateful for her kindness and asked her to send her mobile number so she could credit it… which she did.
@Cruella_D_Vel has since been praised on social media for her kindness.

Popular Nigerian Cleric, Pastor David Ibiyeomie of Salvation Ministry has yet again tackled those who make their money through illegal means.

A young Ghanaian lady and Instagram baddie, identified as Safina Diamond, was arrested for allegedly stabbing her boyfriend to death.
According to reports, Safina stabbed her boyfriend who just returned from Canada in the neck and stomach multiple times leading to his death.
More details have emerged as Safina claimed she stabbed the Canada returnee in self-defence.
New information obtained by GhBase alleges that the deceased was married with kids. He came to Ghana on vacation to see his wife and kids and decided to also visit Safina, his side chick.
The case is still being investigated and more updates will be shared as it continues.
She was arraigned at the Adenta Court Complex on Friday, July 28, where she claimed she killed him in self defense because he was attempting to rape her.

The suspected Kidnappers of Nollywood actors, Cynthia Okereke and Clemson Cornel aka Agbogidi, have demanded the sum of $100,000 for their release.
Recall that Okereke and Clemson, who are members of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), were abducted on their way from a movie set in Ozalla Town in Enugu State, on Thursday, July 28.
The AGN national president, Emeka Rollas gave this update while speaking with Premium times, said ;
“The kidnappers have made contact with the families and are demanding the sum of $100,000. We pray to God for his intervention and for Him to put confusion in their midst.
We are also working closely with the different security operatives, but we are not sure what to expect from them because the same thing is happening everywhere in the country.”
The President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Emeka Rollas, while giving an update on the matter on Friday, also disclosed that all the money in Cynthia Okereke’s account had been cleared.

“We have not confirmed the kidnap as it were. The only thing we know is that all the money in Cynthia Okereke’s account was cleared this morning (Friday).

Anambra State Governor, Charles Soludo, has gotten people talking online after he joined the people of his state on their monthly sanitation exercise on Saturday, July 30.

There seem to be trouble in the home of Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, and his first wife, May Yul Edochie, as he has unfollowed her on photo and video-sharing platform, Instagram.

The former Anambra State governor attended a service held at the 100,000 seat capacity church founded by Pastor Paul Enenche on Friday, July 29, and was given a warm reception by the church leaders.

The Senior Special Assistant on Tertiary Education, Youths and Students Affairs to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos state, Omotayo Sanyaolu, has died in a ghastly car accident on Friday, July 29.
Sanyolu was driving his vehicle around Army Cantonment, Maryland, Ikeja in the early hours of Friday, when he accidentally rammed the vehicle into an ATM located in the area.
Confirming the tragic incident, the Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Emergency Management Authority, Dr. Femi Oke-Osanyantolu, released a statement saying that Sanyolu died from the impact of the collision.
He wrote in part,
”Upon arrival at the scene it was discovered that a black Toyota Camry with registration number LAGH 32, while on top speed rammed into the Keystone Bank ATM located close to the Army Cantonment, Ikeja.
“Unfortunately, an adult male, Sanyanolu, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle died on impact and his remains were immediately bagged upon arrival of emergency responders.
“These have been handed over to the cantonment officer on duty (Officer Musa).
“The affected vehicle was recovered with the aid of LASEMA’s light towing vehicle to a layby.”
The deceased was once a former Youth Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos state.
A lady who was out partying all night has been nabbed after she tried paying for drinks with a fake debit alert.
A video making the rounds on social media shows the lady frantically making some calls in order to get out of the mess she’d involved herself.
It was alleged that she ran out after buying the drinks. Police officers were later seen leaving with her after she couldn’t pay for the drinks.

A one-year-old boy who suffered violent abuse in the hands of his father has been rescued by an NGO in Akwa Ibom State.
Sam Itauma, Head of Child’s Right And Rehabilitation Network (CRARN) who disclosed this in a statement on Friday, July 29, said the little child was rescued after his father threw him into the bush while claiming that he is possessed by demonic powers.
The statement reads;
“A 40 year old man, Mr. Godwin Etim Aweh from Odoro Nkit, Esit Eket, Nigeria has reportedly thrown out his one year old son, Diamond into his backyard bush during a torrential rainfall.”
“Mr. Aweh who runs a local wine business in Unyenge, Mbo local government area came home during the weekend and told his wife that he was no longer interested in having the child as his son anymore as the child is believed to be possessed by demonic powers
“According to an eyewitness, Ms. Mfon Sunday, the disconsolate mother of the child who is also harboring a three week old son, helplessly watched as her one year old boy cried and squirmed in pains under a heavy downpour.
“The mother of the child is helpless as she is not able to safeguard her child from this monster husband. Anytime she tried to pick the child and keep at home when the husband is around, she will be severely beaten and thrown out of the house too.” Said Ms. Sunday.
“The eyewitness further averred that Mr. Aweh (aka Seven 7 ) is fond of throwing out the young lad when he is back home during the weekends and all entreaties to stop his callous and violent behavior towards his child have fallen on deaf ears.
“An anonymous source called the CRARN rescue team’s hotline and invited them to come and witness what he described as a “horrible sight” in his village. “ Please, come right now and save a life.” The caller unequivocally stressed.
“The CRARN team arrived the scene immediately and rescued the child then rushed him to the emergency unit of the Immanuel General Hospital, Eket where he is being treated for acute pneumonia, malnutrition, anemia and breathing difficulties. Available X-ray shows dislocation and bone fracture at the bilateral limbs of the toddler. The young lad is due for surgery and physiotherapy to rectify the fractured bones.”

Rivers state governor, Nyesom Wike, has shaken tables following the internal crises going on in the People’s Democratic Party.
In the recent interview the Presidential Candidate of the PDP held with Arise TV, Atiku said he did not pick Wike as his running mate because he wanted someone he could work with “amicably”. Atiku picked Okowa as his running mate on the 14th of June. However, in the interview with Arise, Atiku said he did not reject Wike but that he only chose someone he could work with amicably.
“Governor Wike was not rejected. Nobody was rejected in the party. But you must understand that it’s the prerogative of the candidate to pick his running mate — a running mate he believes he can work with amicably, and then also deliver the policies of the party, and also try to unify the country. Governor Wike is a brilliant politician. He’s courageous, tenacious. I believe he has a future in the political evolution of this country. It’s not a question of rejection.
Certainly, not. I think it’s too harsh a word to say that we rejected governor Wike.”
Wike has now reacted to Atiku’s interview and he said it was full of lies.
He said ;
“In this part of our world, when lies are being concocted and you allow it, it becomes true fact. I have always believed that when the left speaks, allow the right to also speak. We are not getting any younger.
Since after our primaries, I have decided to be quiet because this is a party I love so much. I have not said anything. I decided to go back home to fulfill the many promises I made to the people of the state. But there comes a time that people would understand and know the true facts of things. It is not in doubt that I will speak and let Nigerians know the actual truth. Haven known the truth, whatever they decide to do with it is left for Nigerians because you can imagine, the Presiential candidate of the PDP, Alhaji Abubakar Atiku, when he unveiled his Vice Presidential candidtate, no right thinking person will say the speech he made on that day was fair. No right thinking lover of this party. Forget about the scavengers.
Thereafter he appeared before the Arise TV. See the statements he made. So many lies were told. And then he said I should not react to some of those issues. That would not be fair.
Assuming today I am not alive, what they ahve said will be accepted as the truth because his attack dogs, Sule Lamido, Babangida Aliyu, look at the statements they issued. Look at the abuses they rained on me. I never reacted.
It is important that as a person and for my own future to react line by line, statements made by Atiku Abubakar himself and his attack dogs. Anybody who loves me will not advise me not to react.”
Wike then asked why Atiku himself has not come to see him for them to resolve whatever issues they have.

Actors Cynthia Okereke and Clemson Cornel have reportedly been kidnapped.
Both actors are suspected to have been kidnapped after they failed to return from a movie set in Ozalla Town in Enugu state.
The Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) confirmed this development in a statement released this afternoon. According to the statement, the families of both actors disclosed they were missing as they both failed to return to their respective homes after the filming.

Two members of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Cynthia Okereke and Clemson Cornel were reportedly missing after their family members confirmed they didn’t come back from a film location at Ozalla Town, Enugu State.
The two members were suspected to have been kidnapped and this has increased fear amongst members about the safety of Actors filming in the country.
The National president is shocked over the ugly incident and urged the security agencies to speed up investigations that would lead to their safe rescue.
Popular Nollywood actress and mother of two, Regina Daniels, has revealed the response she gives her billionaire husband, Ned Nwoko, whenever he complains about her eating habit.
Regina, who welcomed their second child on June 29 – the same date she welcomed her first son, Munir, in 2020, took to her Instastory to disclose that her husband always complains that she eats a lot.
According to her, whenever he makes a comment about how much food she eats, she uses the fact that she’s currently breastfeeding their second son as an excuse for her huge appetite.
Despite her excuse, Regina said her politician husband would still insist that she eats a lot whether she’s breastfeeding or not.
Reacting to this, the young nursing mother said if his assertion is true, then she is glad that she now has a valid reason to eat as much as she wants.
She shared a video of herself eating chips and wrote,
“Hubby: G you eat too much eeeh Me: ha ba! I’m breastfeeding Hubby: this your excuse.. breastfeeding or not, you can eat
The billionaire wife, who recently welcomed her second child with her husband, Ned Nwoko, shared photos of herself rocking a pink two-piece and she looked absolutely stunning.
Sharing the photos with her over 12 million Instagram followers, she captioned it, “I have seen beauty before but this is a discovery 🤣😜”.
Reacting to the photos, Regina’s brother, Sammy, suggested that she went under the knife to enhance her physical features.
“So you finally did your body.” He wrote.
On seeing Sammy’s comment, Regina replied, debunking his claim that she underwent surgery and declared that her curves are natural.
“You don’t want to accept it’s natural because of jealousy.” She wrote.
A suspected yahoo boy has been arrested for allegedly killing his girlfriend and burying her corpse in his room at Okaka area of Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.
The body of the young woman, identified simply as Kate, was found buried in his room in the early hours of Friday, July 29, and stirred an uproar in the community.
It was gathered that Kate went missing few days ago and her boyfriend, who was identified as Joseph, denied knowing her whereabouts.
This morning, the family of the deceased stormed his house to confront him and demanded that he brought her out either dead or alive.
After much pressure, Joseph confessed to killing her and revealed that he buried her corpse in a shallow grave dug in her bedroom. Following which her body was exhumed.
According to reports, the suspect was beaten by angry youths in the community and later handed over to the police.
A Nigerian lady has taken to Twitter to share her boyfriend’s reaction after she told him she was going on a date with a friend.
@xx_teefe had sent her boyfriend a message on WhatsApp asking for permission to go on a date with a friend but she didn’t specify if it was a male or female friend.
In response, the boyfriend who wasn’t comfortable with the idea, gave a list of conditions that she must follow if she goes on the date.
According to him, he would not have consented to the date because he is very much in love with her and doesn’t want to lose her to another man but he doesn’t want her to things behind his back.
