A Nigerian man who is based abroad has taken to Twitter to berate Nigerian women who are in the habit of asking for money or transport fare before going to visit a man.
The gentleman, with handle @avogroovy on the social networking app revealed that he has been dating non-Nigerian girls for close to a decade and not once, all throughout the period has he encountered one who asked him for any money for transport.
@avogroovy who resides in Thailand, stated that Nigerian men deserve better. He also added that he would continue to be an advocate for men realizing that they need to be with better women.
His tweet reads,
”I have been dating Non-Nigerian girls for almost a decade and not a single one has ever asked for Uber, Grab, Cabify fare or bank alert before they show up. Not a single one.
Nigerian men deserves better dating experience and I will keep advocating for that. Be free Kings.”
She probably made a discovery that wasn’t much to her liking and exasperated over this, Nigerian Twitter user, @ayinkelovesfood took to her page to place a curse on deceivers.
Without mincing words, Ayinke attributed her curse to the category of people who deceive other people by acting like they’re single when they actually aren’t.
Ayinke wrote, ”All of you that deceive people that you’re single when you’re not, God will punish you”, in another tweet, she wrote, una don mislead me.
So for people, especially those online, who when a lovey-dovey post of a couple is shared online, are quick to react saying things like “God when“, when in reality, God has done it, just remember that Ayinke has placed a curse for people that are deceiving in this regard… lol
The receipt of payment for service that was rendered to a Nigerian man by a hotel has sent shockwaves to the spines of some netizens.
While a lot of people can’t wrap their head over why a plate of noodles will be over four thousand Naira which literally would buy at least a carton of noodles with 40 pieces inside, there’s the charge for the tray that was used in serving him the rather exquisite meal.
A photo of the receipt had this caption attached to it, I can understand the noodles for 42oo o.. and juice for 4000… but am I taking this tray to my house?? Why charge me 1k??
The response that followed the photo has been quite hilarious, with someone asking whether the person shed tears after receiving his bill, because droplets can be seen on the receipt.
Others were of the stance that the gentleman should not have expected anything less from the kind of hotel he lodged in.
The video of a lady aggressively physically assaulting her supposed boyfriend in the presence of onlookers in public was shared online recently.
In the video, the lady is seen throwing several punches at the guy who kept his calm while trying to explain to others —who didn’t physically intervene, but stood and watched as the lady threw punches— what the problem was.
While some people motioned as though they were going to try and stop the lady from assaulting the gentleman, their attempts seemed effortless as the lady continued to punch and slap the guy and even pushed him against a wall.
The video has been serving rounds on the internet with a number of people having a thing or two to say about the situation, with many of them stating the fact that not much was done by onlookers because the person carrying out the assault was a female.

A Nigerian lady who is a digital media practitioner and is frustrated with the stereotype that Nigerian women can’t pay bills, took to her Twitter account recently to share an experience of hers.
The lady with the handle, @Aqualady6666 on the social networking app, recounted how she gave her ex-boyfriend money despite travelling interstate just to see him.
In her tweet, she affirms that most women pay their bills and that of their partners’ but they don’t brag about it. She decried the consistent stereotype that’s always been attributed to Nigerian women .

Big Brother Naija star, Eriata Ese has warned her haters to “Stop age shaming her.”
According to the reality star, those doubting her age should keep it to themselves as she didn’t ask “nature to make her look older”.
Recounting how people doubted her age while still in secondary school and university, Ese disclosed that her age has been questioned in the Nigerian entertainment industry for the past 7 years.

A man who reportedly died in his sleep in Ugbokodo, Okpe, Delta State was taken to a church where they attempted to resurrect him with prayers.
It was gathered that the incident happened in Ugbokodo community in Okpe Local Government Area of the state.
According to Justice TV, the man identified as Junior went to bed on Monday night but did not wake up on Tuesday morning. After the church failed to resurrect him, the deceased was taken to the General Hospital in Ughoton, where he was confirmed d*ad. The remains have been deposited in the morgue.
Big Brother Naija housemate, Maria has opened up on how she felt after her ‘love interest’, Pere kissed Beatrice during the Truth or Dare game on Monday night, July 2.
During the game, Pere was dared to pick any female housemate in the house and kiss her for 10 seconds, which he did. However, the 35-year-old Delta born housemate, who is always seen with Maria, choose Beatrice for the dare and kissed her instead.

A Nigerian man, identified as Timothy Shikaan, has been arrested for repeatedly assaulting his wife and leaving her with bruised marks and a bleeding eye in Delta state.
The 34-year-old man, who is from Benue State but resides at Temple Clinic, Asaba, Delta State, is accused of constantly beating up his wife, Mrs Shikaan, in their home.
Concerned neighbors intervened and reported him to human rights activist, Harrison Gwamnishu, who is the DG of Behind Bars Human Rights Foundation.
Following the tipoff, he paid a visit to the husband and found the woman with bruises on her back and arms and she was bleeding from her eyes.

Ese Brume, who won Nigeria’s first medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, has revealed plans to wear her medal on the Founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide, Bishop David Oyedepo.
Recall that on Tuesday, August 3, Brume leapt 6.97m with her very first jump to claim bronze just behind America’s Brittney Reese’s 6.97m, who came second, and Germany’s Maliaka Mihambo’s 7.00m, who came first.

A Nigerian couple have been arrested for allegedly staging the kidnap of their 21-year-old daughter, Stephine Solomon Oghenevoke, in Delta state.
Stephine was declared missing after she left for work at Okumagba Estate in Warri, on July 19, 2021, and never returned home.
However, in a new development reported by PUNCH, her parents were nabbed on Sunday night, August 1, after the police received an intelligence report that they allegedly staged their daughter’s abduction.
According to a source who spoke with the publication, the parents who reside at Olomu Street in Warri were still being interrogated by the Police B-Division, Warri, as at Monday evening.
Another source alleged that Stephine, a staff at a popular Bank in Warri, had helped her parents secure a loan of N17 million from the bank.
They reportedly collected the loan for business development but failed to pay back as at when due which made the bank clamp down on them to return the loan. However, they reportedly refused to pay back.
According to the report, in an attempt to raise money to repay the loan, the couple allegedly resorted to staging their daughter’s kidnap.
Meanwhile, the alleged kidnap victim is yet to be released, according to the sources.

A Nigerian couple, Olalekan and Irene Oyewole are currently in a joyful mood as they are now proud parents to a set of twins after 13 years of marriage.
Mrs Irene Oyewole gave birth to the twins, a boy and girl late last month while the christening was held on Sunday, August 1, 2021, at The Redeemed Evangelical Mission, Lagos (TREM)

A 15-year-old girl, identified as Gabrielly Dickson Alves Nascimento, has died after passing out while having sex with a man, 26, in his car.
According to the unnamed man, while they were having sex on Thursday, July 29, Dickson’s lips and skin turned pale and her hands “twisted back” behind her in a spasm.
She was immediately rushed to the UPA Jardim Casquiero medical facility in Cubatão, São Paulo, and was diagnosed with cardiopulmonary arrest.
Sadly, the doctors were unable to save Dickson as she died in the early hours of the following morning, July 30.
An initial medical examination found blood in the teenager’s vagina, but there were no indications of a physical assault.
Although the police are still waiting for the autopsy results, it is suspected that she died from an heart attack.
Meanwhile, the 26-year-old man might be left off the hook because the age of sexual consent in Brazil is 14.
Friends, family and neighbours have taken to social media to pay tribute to the teenager.

Nigerian socialite, Mompha has denied some reports online claiming that he said EFCC officers told him to maintain a low profile following the arrest of his counterpart, Hushpuppi.
He released a statement on his IG page saying he never made such a comment. Mompha who is also being tried by the antigraft agency in Nigeria, denied claims that he is a fraudster adding that he does not in any way associate with fraudsters.
