A Nigerian police officer, Sergeant Kabiru Isah with a heart of gold, who is attached to the Command’s Motor Traffic Division (MTD) in Kano, has honorably returned the sum of N1,294,200.00 found at a scene of a fatal accident.
Accoding to reports, the officer discovered the money while he was conducting scene analysis minutes after the accident. The command’s spokesperson, DSP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa stated that the victim of the accident was knocked down to death by a trailer along Zaria road, kano and was in possession of the said amount of money arranged in a shoebox.
The money was returned to the victim’s family. Overwhelmed with the behaviour displayed by the police officer, the Managing Director, Kano Road Traffic Agency (KAROTA) Dr Baffa Babba Dan Agundi, rewarded the officer with N100K.

In the chat, the man makes a passionate plea to another man, supposedly dating his girlfriend because of fears that she might dump him.
Twitter user, @Kena_Ewuru shared the message which was screenshotted from the perspective of the man who was begged.
As can be seen in the conversation, the man who is begging, shares with the other man how he has invested so much in the said lady because she means a lot to him, and it would be disheartening if she were to leave him.
He stated that asides paying her school fees, he bought her an iPhone 12 for her, trains her siblings in Ekiti state university and also gives her mother monthly allowance.
The affected man said he has not been able to sleep since he discovered that she is seeing another man.
The Bauchi State Police Command have apprehended a 34-year-old man, Lamido Gunduma, for allegedly killing his pregnant girlfriend and their baby in Jamaare Local Government Area of the state.
The Spokesperson of the command, SP Ahmed Mohammed Wakil, who disclosed this in a statement on Friday, May 14, revealed that the suspect conspired with his friend to abort the girlfriend’s pregnancy which led to her death.
“On 07/04/2021 at about 1200hrs one Saidu Iliyasu of Zubuki area Jamaare L.G.A, Bauchi came to Jamaare Divisional Headquarters and reported that on the 5/04/2021 his daughter, one Jamila Saidu 35yrs of the same address was declared missing following which a search party was organized, but to no avail,” Wakil stated.
“On the 08/04/2021 at about 1030hrs, her decomposed body was discovered with a new born child in a Sewage at her boyfriends house identified as Lamido Gunduma at unguwar Yari-mari Jamaare,”
“During preliminary investigation, it was discovered that the above suspect criminally conspired with one Ishaq Abdullahi aged 34yrs of the same address and fixed a canola into the arm of the said Jamila Saidu and administered her with dextrose water, Quinine and ostagen in order to abort her pregnancy which culminated into an induced labour that resulted to the death of the victim and new born baby,”
“The suspect then deposited the corpses in the sewage system within his compound and fled to Kwadon in Gombe state where he was tracked and arrested. He has been charged to court for prosecution accordingly.”
Nigerian gospel singer, Chidinma Ekile has stated that her decision to be born-again was ordained by God.

Nigerian actor, Yomi Fabiyi has made startling revelations concerning the case of Baba Ijesha who was alleged to have sexually assaulted the 14-year-old foster daughter of comedienne, Princess.
He made the statement amidst reports that Baba Ijesha sexually molested the daughter of Princess.
Yomi Fabiyi who has been outspoken on the saga said the actor as opened up on the conversation he had with Baba Ijesha during his recent visit to him in Panti prison.
In a chat with City People, the actor claimed that Baba Ijesha told him of how he had an affair with Princess when their spouses left them.
Yomi Fabiyi, the actor who is taking a lot of heat from the Baba Ijesha and Princess rape saga right now, has opened up on the conversation he had with Baba Ijesha during his recent visit to him in Panti prison.
In a chat with City People, the actor claimed that Baba Ijesha told him of how he had an affair with Princess Comedian when their spouses left them.
“I noticed he was trying to dodge it. I don’t lie and your secret is safe with me. But I will tell you what he told me. He said Yomi, I had marital problem the same time she had hers (Princess), and we became closer. She had helped me with admission. And I asked again that, were you guys having sex?
But he replied that Yomi, we became close! But I still think he deserves to be granted bail. No one has the right to hold anyone beyond the statutory law. If you want to hold anyone beyond 48 hours, you have to approach the court with enough evidence as to why the person should not be released.”

So, I told them at the police station that I needed to see him and they brought him out. He said Yomi and I said, sir! I said I want you to tell me in all honesty, did you rape the young girl? Because I was already having images in my head and I don’t want to believe he’s the one.
And I asked him to tell me; did you rape the girl? And he said, Yomi, there was never a time I raped this lady! And this lady never said I raped her. But the Police said you confessed to the crime and the statement from the police reads Baba Ijesha rape allegation. What is in the video and what did you confess you did then? He said Yomi, they showed me the CCTV and they came in started battering, torturing me.
But I know what I did was not right and I said to him, did you touch the girl; a 14-year-old girl? And he said I don’t even know her age. I know I touched the girl. I kissed her hand. I told him not to say anything again because I felt he might be dodging some things and I requested the video but I was denied.
But I told him if he did what people have been saying, I would be so disappointed in him. And he told me he needed a lawyer and I also asked if anybody has visited him from the industry. He told him only one person came and she came on the instruction of the TAMPAN President to ask for the situation of things. After then I gave him some money.
But because I was there (I went to see Baba Ijesha), they thought I went to tell the police another thing or something else happened when I visited him. Is it wrong for a colleague to show moral support to a colleague and wants to know the true account? I will never forsake anybody that I know is good in time of trouble. I asked him and he told me that he’s not a paedophile. This girl looks like an adult to me, Yomi.”
In the video that was released by Princess, she said the girl was raped 7 years ago and that Baba Ijesha didn’t have sex with her then that he only inserted key into her private part. So I said is that what made the girl misbehave in school? It’s not correlating. That was when I began to say maybe somebody is trying to bring someone down.
First, on no account should anybody use a child set up anybody. This is the child you said has been molested and now you were able to convince an innocent child to submit her body for another molestation? If I know you are a sex predator, a Paedophile, I should use the last breathe in me to ensure that you do not touch that child.
Because what happened in the video is like telling that girl to release her body to be molested. That he would put his finger into you, please don’t worry I’m videoing it. He would fondle your breasts, endure it. That’s what I saw in the video. That’s too bad. I’m not surprised at all.

Yomi Fabiyi recently alongside others stormed Panti police station to protest over the detention of the embattled actor, who was accused of molesting a 14-year-old girl.
During the protest, Fabiyi, and other protesters marched from Casino Bus Stop to Panti Police Station on Wednesday.
They demanded that Baba Ijesha should be released from detention pending when a court would hear his case.
Fabiyi, who has been supportive of Baba Ijesha, described the continuous detention of Baba Ijesha as “illegal”.

In a new development following the report of a missing 22-year-old female student of the Cross River University of Technology, Priscilla Ojong, her family members have said they are yet to get through to her or see her.
Priscilla was in the early hours of today, declared missing after she reportedly left Calabar for Lagos, three weeks ago to see a male friend of hers… the news made the rounds on social media with a lot of people creating awareness of her absence.
However, on her Instagram page some hours ago, the young lady posted a video of herself to dispel the rumours of her being missing with the caption,

Upon seeing this update, some close relations of the young lady reached out to us to say they are yet to see Priscilla or hear from her and they think the video she made was done under duress.
A close relation of hers who was able to speak with us revealed the process they have and are going through to facilitate her recovery.
According to them, Priscilla left for Lagos on the 20th of April — they confirmed this after a close friend of hers notified them of the transportation company she used. The transportation company was able to provide a manifest of the passengers that traveled that day and Priscilla’s name was among the list. This potentially verifies the earlier report where one of Priscilla’s friends said she received a call from Priscilla informing her that she had arrived Lagos safely and will be staying over for just the weekend.
This close relation shared that earlier today, around the time Priscilla was giving updates on her social media page, Priscilla spoke with one of her friend who she told that she’s fine and will be returning to Calabar tomorrow, as opposed to what she said in her video, that she currently is in Calabar.
As earlier reported, after the police were contacted concerning Priscilla’s missing case they’ve swung into action and have taken the necessary steps into investigation.
Frank Uduak Akpan, the young man who stands accused of the gruesome murder of Calabar Job-seeker, Iniubong Umoren, has revealed that he killed her in self-defense.
Frank, in his not-so-convincing side of the story, said Ini attacked him and he defended himself by hitting her, and the blow led to her death.
In his words;
I invited Iniubong Umoren for a job and I asked her whether she can work in a farm as secretary. I told her that I wanted to sleep with her first. She agreed on a condition that I will use condom which I also agreed to.
She became furious when I started removing the condom, and she attacked me. I was bleeding so I needed to defend myself by hitting her which lead to her death.
An unidentified Kenyan man was beaten mercilessly by angry locals after a school girl accused him of sexually molesting her.
According to reports, the man offered two female high-school students a ride home from school. He reportedly dropped one of the students at her destination, then continued the ride with the second student.
Instead of taking the girl home, he reportedly took her into the bush in a lone area in the Ngecha area of Limuru, Kenya, and allegedly defiled her.
After the incident, he reportedly continued the ride with the school girl and she raised an alarm when she saw some locals.
They gathered and dealt with him mercilessly before he was handed over to the police.

A train company has apologized after a conductor was accused of excluding a “non-binary” passenger with his “Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls” announcement.
The passenger, identified as Laurence Coles, had taken to Twitter to call out the train company for not being inclusive of his sexuality. According to him, he felt offended with the announcement because he doesn’t identify as either male or female.
“‘Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls…’ so as a non-binary person this announcement doesn’t actually apply to me so I won’t listen”, he tweeted.
Laurence’s friend, Charlotte Monroe (28), who identifies as “non-binary” as well, also reached out to the company, saying,
“I sat with Laurence when this tweet was sent. Both of us are non-binary, and we were both alarmed and uncomfortable by the lack of inclusion.”
In response to the complaints, the London North Eastern Railway (LNER) tendered a public apology on Twitter.
LNER tweeted,
“I’m really sorry to see this, Laurence, our Train Managers should not be using language like this, and I thank you for bringing it to my attention.
“Please could you let me know which service you are on and I will ensure they remain as inclusive as we strive to be at LNER.
“We’ve been working very hard with educating our people on why gender specific pronouns are not suitable in instances like these, and we’re sorry to see this has not been applied here.
“It is entirely valid for someone who does not identify with the terms used to feel excluded and as a business we do not accept that anyone should feel excluded.”

It was earlier reported in a viral report that Priscilla who is in her third year at the university reportedly went missing after she supposedly travelled from Calabar to Lagos State three weeks ago on the invitation of a male friend.
In the new video that she made Priscilla shared that the reason why people raised alarm on her whereabout was because she has been offline due to a damaged mobile phone.
According to her, her phone got damaged and the process of getting a new one made her unavailable online which caused panic amongst the people who know her, making them declare her missing.

A young lady who received a $50,000 scholarship from Canadian rapper and singer, Drake in 2018, is about to obtain her master’s degree.
Drake visited the University of Miami in 2018 and donated a $50,000 scholarship to undergraduate student, Destiny Paris James, who later featured in his “God’s Plan” music video.
The rapper presented the South Carolina lady the cheque of $50,000 in the music video to help complete her education.
Destiny who is now 23-years-old graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health in 2019 from the University of North Carolina—Chapel Hill. She then proceeded for her Master’s at the same University, where she will be obtaining her Masters degree in few days.

A newly-wedded man faced a heartbreak after he caught his wife cheating on him with another man at a hotel.
A Twitter user @Ogalasun who shared the story on the social networking app, shared how the man was driving to his friends place when he spotted his wife’s SUV in a car park.
The said man then stormed the hotel where her car was parked and found her with the man. According to @Ogalasun, the marriage is only one month old.
He wrote,

A young Nigerian lady, Hafeezah who’s quite known on IG for her hilarious and outspoken self, has taken to social media to share how everyone is running a different race.
Hafeezah, in a tweet which has caused a lot of people to react, used her life as an example to explain her statement — she shares how she gained admission into the university at 16 years for a 5-year course but now she’s almost 23 and is yet to graduate.
According to Hafeezah, who’s supposed to have graduated when she was 21, her graduation is not in sight even though she has spent 7 years in the university for a 5 year course.
The Law student shared her story via Twitter, writing;
”Got into the university at 16 for a 5 year course. I’m almost 23 and I’m still here. Carry your aspire to inspire asses away and realize that everyone lives through different circumstances. Let people breathe, please.”

A differently-abled woman, Dorathy Osaronu, has taken to social media to announce her forthcoming wedding to her beau.
The beautiful bride-to-be, who uses a wheelchair, shared lovely pre-wedding photos on her Facebook page and acknowledged God for doing what seemed impossible “twice”.
Dorathy is from a royal family in Eleme, Rivers state and her fiancé, Gabriel Osaro, is also from a royal family in the same community.
She shared a photo of their wedding invitation and wrote,
“My God did what seemed impossible and YES HE did it Twice.”
According to him, he lost his ability to walk after he fell from a tree, but then he met the love of his life who changed his story.
They met at the hospital, and she would bring him food, fruits and groceries during his stay at the hospital.
His bride was mocked by friends for being attached to a paralysed man, but that did not deter her as she stood by him and showed him love, till he proposed to her and she accepted to get married to him.
Iniubong Umoren aka Hiny Humoren, the young lady who went job hunting but met her demise is being laid to rest today, Friday, 14th of May, 2021.
Hiny’s family had initially revealed that the body of the murdered graduate will be laid to rest today, the 14th day of May, 2021.
The late Umoren was a graduate of Philosophy, University of Uyo (UNIUYO). She was killed in cold blood by a suspected 20- year-old serial rapist and killer, identified as Uduak Frank Akpan in Nung Ikono Obio village, Uruan Local Government Area, under the guise of offering her job.
According to her foster mother, Ini was an intelligent and well-behaved girl.
“Iniubong was a very good girl. She was very respectful. She was an intelligent and well-behaved girl. That was why I ensured he attended school up to the university level. She studied Philosophy at the University of Uyo. All the years she lived with me I never got any bad report from anywhere or anybody about her behaviour,” she said
A young Nigerian lady has taken to her social media page to accuse Billionaire Ned Nwoko of unlawfully detaining members of her family.
According to the lady identified as IFEJOKU UZOR PAMELA, her mother was forced to celebrate her birthday in the prison because of Ned.
She also shared a link to a story that gave a detailed explanation of the saga.

If You Don’t Know By Now. Please be patient. Read to the end. IDUMUJE-UGBOKO is an agrarian town in ANIOCHA NORTH LGA of Delta State – Nigeria. The King (traditionally known to indigenes as OBI) is the paramount ruler with administrative structure, supported by Chiefs and the town union’s Union, IDUMUJE-UGBOKO DEVELOPMENT UNION WORLDWIDE, widely abbreviated as IUDU. The union is administratively led by an elected PRESIDENT GENERAL. The current elected President general of The Idumuje Ugboko Development Union is OKEY IFEJOKU. The union’s primary responsibility includes but not limited to; oversee the general development of our homeland, Idumuje Ugboko and assist in structured administration of Idumuje-Ugboko. I was elected the president general since the year 2016 at the Easter general IUDU Annual conference. During that conference, a section of the community “OWU PEOPLE ” peacefully protested that CHINEDU CELESTINE NWOKO NWA UDENWWAMAKA, AKA NED NWOKO had invaded their farmlands, destroyed their crops and the fruits of their lifetime labor. They carried various agro-economic crops such as cassava, yams, cocoa yams, melons, palm trees, yams, ogbono. This farm produces was massively destroyed by the invader NED NWOKO!. The OWU PEOPLE appealed for assistance and intervention from IUDU. Thus, the NEC of IUDU called for a stakeholders meeting inviting all parties to resolve the issue. In that meeting, Ned Nwoko explained his vision of building a golf course in the community. He shared that the golf course would require 90 hectares of land and another 100 hectares for sports university, thence he invaded the farmlands. It might interest you to know that Ned Nwoko had previously been blessed with 33.4 hectares of land for dairy farms which never manifested. Instead, he built his personal estate in that land against the original purpose for which the late Obi blessed him with 33 hectares. That earned him a trust deficit in the community. Many Ugboko indigenes questioned the viability of a golf course. But we supported his visions for a university. The then crowned Prince CHUKWUNONSO JUSTIN NWOKO ( now the KING OF IDUMUJE UGBOKO) was part of the meeting and asked what Ned did with the previous land given to him and if he considered the entire youths of Idumuje Ugboko before the huge request and also the availability of such land magnitude in Idumuje Ugboko. Consequently, at the meeting, I appreciated Ned Nwoko for his developmental vision. However, I reminded him that development starts with the people and not with structures. I pleaded and encouraged Ned Nwoko to pay compensation to peasant farmers that he destroyed their crops and negotiate for outright purchase of respective lands. The community advised that he should commence his developmental strides in the previous 33.4 hectares allotted to him since the year 2000 with the promise that if he needed more, due process should be followed. I went further and promised him that I would donate my private estate to serve as the Vice Chancellor’s lodge. Since after that meeting, our community has not known peace. Ned Nwoko used his wealth to divide, rule, intimidate our elders and the young including Obi Chukwunonso. He brazenly employed the police to invade our town at odd hours and harass our people, arrest innocent young men. He used financial inducement by buying the Chiefs’ cars. Ned reached out to me through one Professor Oseghale congratulating me as his board member, fraudulently using my name in his university brochures’ statement without my consent. The next approach was asking me to bring forward my academic credentials to meet with His Excellency, Governor Okowa for a commissioner’s position. he specifically mentioned people like AGENDA bothering him, but we have come a long way back. After various attempts to coerce me into his land grabbing strategies, without success, he declared me a personal non grata. Our late OBI ALBERT NWOKO the 3rd died February 2017 and the first son Obi Justin Oraeze Chukwunonso 1″ ascended the throne as our custom and tradition does not accept a vacuum:”OBI AGU NA UKPO” Ned Nwoko has and continues to intimidate, jail, harass HIS ROYAL HIGHNESS, OBI CHUKWUNONSO. The amiable king has not ruled our ancient proud Kingdom with peace since he was coronated. Ned Nwoko has been a torment to our land and our King. I led a team of respected goodwill people to appeal to Ned for support for the interest of our community, I sent the youth branch of our union to ask for his support as an elder, all to no avail. He vowed before the youths that Obi Justin Oraeze will never enjoy the throne of his forefathers. Idumuje Ugboko has no king-making process because kings are born not made. It’s worthy to note too that Idumuje has four quarters that make up the town. No quarter is at war with each other. Idumuje Ugboko is at peace with herself but Ned Chinedu celestine Nwoko, aka Ned Munir Nwoko, refuses to give us peace. He vowed to puncture the ancestral traditional administrative structure and made our community ungovernable by the following ways: *Calling our king unprintable names, destroying and defaming the King’s character and our sacred traditional institution. *Instituted multiple ligations by sponsoring various individuals contesting the throne without legal success. * Financially induced the chiefs: bought them cars to serve as agents for community destabilization. * He polarized our community vigilante group that provides security and created his own gun tottering vigilantes. * He has been struggling vehemently to destroy the town’s union (IUDU) creating his parallel union codename (UPA) meaning UGBOKO PROGRESSIVE ASSOCIATION. * His sponsorship for my various arrests and detentions is just a ploy to destroy IUDU and leaving our king without any supporting strength. His divide and rule method is through financial inducement, making his juvenile supporters above the law and beyond police arrests, He subjects our community to constant daylight intimidation, harassment, ambush arrests by the corrupt jack-booted police, who arrest incessantly, detain us on trumped-up charges without proofs. WE HAVE SEVERALLY ASKED NED NWOKO WHAT HE WANTS? if it’s land, he has forcefully taken all community and individuals lands. Idumuje Ugboko’s situation is like the proverbial saying of severely beating a child and ask the child not to cry. Idumuje Ugboko has seen chronic oppression of the poor, the rich and the violent perversion of justice in our land. Initially, we did not marvel at it thinking that high officials of DELTA STATE watched over high officials and higher officials are over them – but these hopes were all to no redemption. Idumuje Ugboko has written, protested to Delta State Government, Aniocha North local government, Delta state house of assembly, Aniocha north traditional council, etc, all to no avail. It’s paramount to inform that Ned Nwoko is absolutely alleging assassination plot on Gabriel Ogbechie, the CEO of Rain Oil Ltd. An achiever, illustrious son of Idumuje Ugboko and a great community developer per excellence because he helped to process me out of jail after privately visiting him at Abuja with an appeal to give Ugboko peace. Our Prayers! Good people of ANIOCHA NORTH LGA, DELTA STATE GOVERNMENT, and Nigerians in general, should please come to Idumuje Ugboko’s rescue for life becomes Brutish without consequential laws. I ask again – WHAT DOES NED WANT? HOW MUCH LAND DOES A MAN REALLY NEED?
Nigerian singer, Harrison Tare Okiri popularly known as Harrysong, has expressed his displeasure over the current situation of things in Nigeria.
The singer took to his Instagram page to reveal that he is angry and pained with the way things are going south in the country.
According to him, Boko Haram members are roaming freely and even distributing welfare packages to residents of Borno and Yobe state, while the Federal government is watching with folded arms.
He lambasted the current administration for condemning the former president, Goodluck Jonathan and claiming that they were the best choice for the job.
He added that God would punish anyone who campaigns for presidency in the next general election in 2023.
