American professional basketball player, LeBron James has built a mini version of his mansion for his daughter, to celebrate her 6th birthday.
LeBron’s daughter, Zhuri will be 6 on October 22nd, and ahead of her birthday, her dad presented her a small house built right next to the main house.
In a video shared by the Lakers star on his Instagram story, he stated that the mini mansion was a early birthday gift.
He said,
“EARLY BDAY GIFT MY PRINCESS!!!!!“LOVE YOU BABY Z.”
Zhuri’s mini mansion has a kitchen and sitting room, furnished with a purple couch, pink cushions and a black and white checkered floor.
James in the shared video, showed the back of his home then pans to his daughter’s house and said, “this little girl has the nerve to have her own house, how your house look just like the big house, though?”
In the video, Zhuri is seen cleaning a section of her floor where her father has just stepped.
“Oh, my bad. I got your floor dirty?” James says, laughing.

The Nigerian Police Force have announced that officials from the disbanded Special Anti-Robbery squad are barred from joining the newly set-up tactical unit, SWAT.
One of the criteria for the selection of SWAT officers stipulates that they must not have worked for SARS, according to a memo that was shared by the Police.
Other key points on the new unit are ;
Officers to be recruited must also have at least seven years policing service experience, and must be passed physically fit to withstand training and operation.
They will also undergo medical and psychological fitness to certify them fit medically, emotionally, and psychologically.
“All personnel will as a critical pre-requisite undergo and pass medical examination, psychometry and toxicological screening for drug of abuse which will be conducted by the Police Medical Services during training and those found to be unsuitable shall be discharged”.
Nigerian activist, Omoyele Sowore has taken to social media to allege that some persons have made huge amount of money from negotiations on how to put an end to #EndSARS protest.
According to the pro-democracy campaigner, he refuses to be a part of #EndSARS negotiations, as some persons have turned the protest to a game and an avenue to enrich their pockets.
He further revealed that some people has made as much as billions from #EndSARS negotiations.
He tweeted,
“I will not be part of any negotiations regarding #ENDSARS, many have entered into these negotiations and come out of the other side becoming billionaires, to them it is a game! The only negotiation I will ever engage in is that of the surrender of our oppressors! #RevolutionNow.”

The peaceful protest against police brutality, harassments and killings by SARS officials in Abuja today, October 14 was hijacked by hoodlums who attacked the protesters.
Several cars owned by #EndSARS protesters were vandalized by these thugs and many protesters sustained injuries of varying degree in the clash.
It was gathered that the hoodlums who arrived wielding sticks, were deployed to disrupt the #EndSARS protest in the state and turn it violent.
This is coming after the Inspector General of Police announced the disbandment of the Special Anti-Robbery Squads (SARS), for a new unit called Special Weapon and Tactics Team (SWAT).

In the video sighted online, a man was seen crying uncontrollable inside his destroyed car after being attacked by the hoodlums.

His car was unfortunately destroyed by the thugs. The man, who was lamenting bitterly in the video stated that he didn’t do anything to deserve this vandalous act.
The Executive Governor of Borno State, Babagana Umara Zulum has asked the Inspector-General of Police to deployed disbanded SARS officials to his state to fight Boko Haram.
Zulum made the call in Maiduguri when he was receiving the Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregebesola, who led a delegation to the state.
Zulum said, in Borno state, SARS had made remarkable achievements against Boko Haram.
This is coming on the rising calls for police reforms via peaceful procession by some youths, in solidarity with the SARS activities in the state.

Popular Nollywood Actress, Stella Damasus has declared that #ENDSARS protesters will not back down and she gave a reason for that.
The initial demand from protesters which was to ENDSARS after the IGP announced that he infamous unit had been dissolved. However, protests have lingered on with the creation of a replacement unit that was named Special Weapons And Tactics Unit (SWAT).
Damasus has now echoed the grievances of the protesters and she says so many unemployed graduates are willing to sign up for law enforcement.

Reality TV star, Tacha Akide, has revealed that the protests against police brutality and killings by the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) will continue till visible actions are taken by the government.
The Former BBNaija housemate, in an exclusive interview on Channels TV sunrise daily, stated that the youths will not leave the streets until legit actions are taken because the youths are tired of empty promises.
Tacha, who has been actively participating in the protest both in Lagos and Rivers state, articulated the mind of the youths regarding the protest.
In her words:
“At the moment, we have given the government time. We are all in Nigeria; we hear promises; we need to see actions being taken. Legit action being taken,”
“I understand it is not going to happen overnight. There are certain procedures; there are certain stages to how all of this stuff can be achieved.

She made this remark while lending her voice to the ongoing protests across the country geared towards bringing an end to police brutality.
Tweeting via her official Twitter page on Wednesday October 14, Rita Dominic said the #EndSars protest is one of the best organized protests she has ever been part of.
The actress warned that she wouldn’t mind to unfollow anyone who discredits the organization of the ongoing protests.
She tweeted… “I will unfollow everyone that insists on discrediting the organization of these protests. I have been supporting different demonstrations and protests over the years. This is the best organized. For once, I feel that the voices of real people are being heard.”
A fashion designer, identified as Donicce May on Instagram has called out former BBNaija housemate and self acclaimed boss lady, Ka3na, alleging that she portrays a false lifestyle, and slashes her workers salary unjustly.
According to Donicce, who claimed to be the creative mind behind the reality TV star’s clothe designs, Ka3na emotionally abuses her workers, adding that this led to majority of her staff resigning from the job.
He further revealed that the boss lady paid him four thousand naira, as opposed to their initial agreement of forty thousand naira, when he started the job.

The governor of Oyo state, Seyi Makinde, is currently receiving backlash on social media for donating N100 million for the renovation of Soun of Ogbomoso’s palace, that was vandalized during #EndSARS protest.
The King’s palace was vandalized by residents of the community, after he was accused of being nonchalant about Jimoh Isaiq death.
Recall that, Jimoh Isiaq was reportedly shot dead by a police officer, during the #EndSARS protest in Ogbomosho last Saturday.
The governor of the state has now visited the palace, and announced a N100 million donation towards the renovation of the palace and N1 million to families of those killed during the protest.
However many Nigerians have taken to social media to critize Seyi Makinde, describing gifting the king that huge sum of money for the renovation of his palace “misplaced prioirity”

Popular Nigerian artiste, Burna Boy has taken to Twitter to demand for institutional reform of the Nigerian Police Force and increased salaries for police officers.
According to him, there is no reason why a sergeant in the force should be earning N50,000/N60,000 in a month with no benefits.
The self-acclaimed African Giant asserted that the poor salary will not help the youth’s fight against the brutality of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).
He wrote,

A twitter user with handle @JuanPedro_Marion in response to Burnaboy’s statement, said the low pay is not an excuse for the atrocities they commit, as they are not the only civil servants that are underpaid.
He wrote,

Popular Nigerian singer, Tiwa Savage has revealed the reasons why she thinks members of the Nigerian Police Force should join in the ongoing #EndSARS protest.
The mother of one stated that she had spoken with some police officers in confidentiality and highlighted some deep-seated reasons why policemen should join the youths in the fight.
According to her, policemen are grossly inadequately paid and to make matters worse, their salaries gets delayed for months. She also cited the poor living conditions of police officers and their families.
The award winning singer condemned Nigeria leaders for being paid billions to sleep in senate, while the main workers are paid peanuts.

A Twitter user, Jr Chimorah has cried out, after his aunt took his daughter to the pool, and returned her back with her hair shaved.
According to Chimorah, his aunt came over to his house and asked to take his daughter to the pool. He agreed, only for his daughter to return without her hair.
When asked why she shaved the hair off, his aunt said the little girl complained that she was feeling hot.

Nigerian actor and philanthropist, William Uchemba has supported the family of late Jimoh Isiaq who was shot during the #endSARS protest in Ogbomoso with the sum of N1 million naira.
The UN Ambassador had earlier requested for the contact information of the deceased’s family, as well as those of others who were killed during the protest.

He took to his Instagram account to appeal to fellow Nigerians to also support the families of the victims.

I was able to reach the father of the young boy Jimoh isiaka that was killed my the police durning the peaceful protest in Oyo state and by the help of God I supported him with 1,000,000 (One million naira) in as much as I know that money can’t bring back the dead, the least we can do is to support them in any way we can.
I also need the contact of the family of the police men that was killed yesterday in Lagos and the other victims, I heard nothing has been done for them, please if you have their contact help me with it. And if you want to also support in any you can please do. We are all they have.

A ‘Fake Nollywood Star’ identified as Ezekiel Sunday Emmanuel has landed himself in EFCC net following a failed romance scam.
The Economic And Financial Crimes Commission shared details of the crime on their social media page and the Ezekiel was accused of defrauding an American to the tune of $7,000.
The tweet on their page reads ;
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Lagos Zonal Office, has arrested one Ezekiel Sunday Emmanuel for allegedly defrauding an American national, Collins Meresha, to the tune of $7,000 USD (Seven Thousand Dollars).
Emmanuel, who presents himself as Frederick Nnaemeka Leonard, a Nollywood actor, was arrested on October 8, 2020 by officers of the Commission following a report by the Chief Security Officer of Federal Airports Authority, FAAN, who caught him while engaging in a heated argument with Meresha on October 6, 2020.‘
Popular Nigerian media personality, Toke Makinwa has blasted a Twitter user who claimed that she was at the #EndSARS protest with her company of friends, to flaunt their designer outfits.
The vlogger who had joined several other Nigerians to protest against police brutality and extrajudicial killing, on getting to twitter saw a tweet by a Nigerian lady identified as Nneka, claiming that she (Toke) was only a part of the protest to showoff her expensive outfits.
The tweet reads,
“Toke Makinwa and her group of friends attended today’s protest to snap photos, show off designer outfits, make snaps with red cup and go home. My IG timeline is annoying”.
Toke who was apparently furious by the tweet, in response cussed out the young lady.
She wrote,
“God will punish you for this tweet, I don’t owe anyone anything but FYI, I resumed at the protest at past 10am, skipped work to walk from the toll gate to Onikan, you won’t make this protest about me.”
Die hard fans of American rapper, Cardi B, have taken to Twitter to also share their nude photos, to support her after she mistakenly leaked her own unclad photo on social media.
The fans who have flooded the Twitter space with their nude photos, using the hashtag “boobs out for Cardi”, assured the mother of one that they are willing to go all out to support her.
Recall that, Last night, the rapper uploaded a nude selfie to her Instagram story which immediately went viral online.
She later deleted the image and took responsibility for the mistake, saying in a Twitter voice note, “Lord, why the fuck you have to make me so fuckin‘ stupid? … Why? Why, why, why?

Popular Nigerian singer, Paul Okoye of the defunct singing group, P-Square, has vehemently opposed the newly-created Police unit, SWAT.
Recall that, The Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, has set up SWAT to replace the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) which was disbanded following nationwide protests over brutality, illegal arrest, extortion, extra-judicial killings.
