Nigerian entertainment blogger and media star Uche Pedro, founder of Bella Najia, won the “Best Blogger – Africa” category at the awards.

Uche beat fellow bloggers Sylvia Kamau (“Style by Sylvia” – Kenya), Aisha Baker (“Baked the Blog” – South Africa)and Theodora Lee (“Theodora Lee” – South Africa) to take home a coveted KCA ‘blimp’ trophy.

Uche and her fellow nominees Sylvia, Aisha and Theodora flew into the US a few days ago to attend the star-studded event.

Commenting, Uche Pedro said;

The ceremony started on Friday, 11th, traditional wedding held yesterday March 12th, at the Edo Hotel, Okada Drive, GRA, Benin……And Now,The thanksgiving celebration of the traditional wedding between the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Babatunde Ogunwusi, Ojaja II and his new bride, Wuraola Otiti Zynab Obanor, took place at his palace today.

Five Star Music – E-Money and Kcee fulfilled their promises to the hawker they recently picked up from the streets.

Recall Kcee met with the shoe-rack hawker when Kcee stormed Lagos Traffic as an MTN Undercover hawking & giving out recharge cards.

Apparently, Kcee met with Promise – who hawked shoe racks & brushes then decided to turn his life around alonside his brother E-Money in honour of the latter’s birthday. They gifted him with N300k, a brand new car and also a luxury apartment.

Kcee shared a picture of Promise, flanked by himself and HarrySongz, on his Instagram page, and asked fans if they recognise him.

Comedian Basketmouth’s wife, Elsie Okpocha has made a case for the Embattled Lekki Homes MD, Richard Nyong over the building that collapsed in Lekki.

His name is Richard Nyong,the managing Director of Lekki Gardens,the construction company in charge of the 5-storey building which collapsed on Tuesday…… many of us right now would go with the information d media gives….but then,that is the much they know….the truth some of us know and are very sure of is that
Richard’s best friend was put in charge of this said project but he did a very bad job so it was taken away from him and given to another contractor to handle….

This particular building was already marked as defective because of the sub-standard materials that were used
Richard had even signed a contract with another company to repair it
But it was so unfortunate that the labourers had made the place their home since they had nowhere to live and this was definitely against the company’s policy.

Labourers were supposed to leave the site at 6pm and resume at 8am,this building collapsed at 3am
The truth needs to be told and heard,pls let Justice be done appropriately ,this man right here is innocent.
