My Man Crush Everyday. I saw @bezidakula rise above negativity on Saturday and it blew my mind as I was ready to lose my temper completely. On Saturday he had a gig and a lot of things were going wrong with the organizers and at some point I told him to cancel because it wasn’t worth it. My husband said to me: “even if they don’t fulfill their part of the bargain, I will go on and do my part because I already committed and it’s an integrity issue”. To be honest I was dumbfounded because he really was justified to just cancel and not perform and I told him as much and then he said something else. He said “babe, even if it is only one person waiting to see me perform, I will perform for that person because I won’t let anyone down”. At this point, I had a new level of respect for this man! The maturity he showed and then the fact that he was not willing to compromise his integrity was incredible. Also the PASSION he uses to perform and do what he does is mind blowing. I am truly in awe of this guy, I am so inspired and I just thank God for blessing me with you as my husband, it is a real privilege for me. It’s your birthday tomorrow and I am excited for what this coming year has in store for you. God will bless you with so much because you have honored the little he gave you. Your humility, your passion, your talent is AMAZING. I love you so so much @bezidakula. You truly deserve all the great blessings coming your way because you are humble to know that it is all by God’s Grace.#prebirthdaytoasting#greatman#inspiration#blessedman#thehomie
She Posted this On Instagram before his birthday, Then on his birthday she went comical as she said….
It is OUR Birthday today!!!! Okay fine, it’s @bezidakula‘s birthday. Oya wish US (I mean him) a happy birthday!!! Yayyyy!!!
Star Nollywood Actress – Bimbo Akintola who has been off The Acting Grid for a while in a new interview with Punch Newspaper says she does not accept every script that comes her way just for the sake of acting.
The veteran actress disclosed that she only falls for stories which have meaning to her—and would have a positive impact.
“It is not a matter of rebranding! It is a matter of believing in something. I started talking to myself that I am tired of being in every movie that doesn’t say anything. I decided I want to be part of movies that say something and I choose my script now. We as actors have a duty to Nigeria, because we are known, so people use that popularity to make a difference. So with me, I am only doing stories that mean something to me,” she said.
According to her, she used her break from the movie scene to work on herself by hitting at the gym on regularly.
“I just exercise, I do a lot of exercise. I am a regular person at the gym and they would tell you that I am usually there by 5:40am. But since I have started shooting, I have had to stop.”

A middle-aged man, identified as Papa Ogada, has reportedly dumped his 14-year-old son in a well, accusing him of being behind his inability to make progress in life.
According to Vanguard, Ogada, a coffin maker, who hails from Oberete village in Obingwa Local Government Area of Abia State, had been complaining that his son was a wizard, who had caused him serial misfortunes since reuniting with him, after leaving his mother’s place.
A source said:
“The truth is that the man has been separated from the boy’s mother. Since the boy came back from his mother’s place where he lived, the man has been accusing him of being a wizard.
“He once told us that he had consulted many spiritualists, who told him that his son is a wizard and is behind the problems he has had in his business.“We are not surprised that he went this far.”
It was learned that Ogada contacted one of his friends, who helped him tie up the boy with his school uniform, books and other property and drove off at about 9p.m. to neighbouring Abiaka village, where they dumped him in an abandoned well.
According to a resident of Abiaka village, who was part of rescue efforts,
“some of us had already retired for the day when we started hearing shouts and cries coming from the location of the abandoned well, but we thought people were fighting.“As the shouts increased, we summoned courage and got to the area and discovered that it was coming from the abandoned well. We got a rope and bucket, threw them inside and the boy managed to cling to and was pulled out.
“He was already weak with injuries. We thanked God the well had been out of use; he might not have survived.”
At press time, the boy was said to be receiving medical attention at an undisclosed hospital, while his father’s whereabouts is unknown.
Ifeanyi Bernard, a 46 year-old pastor was apprehended on Monday for allegedly raping a 13-year-old girl in the Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa State.
Police authorities revealed that the alleged rape took place on November 3 when the pastor was performing deliverance on the teenager. However, the pastor described the incident as the handiwork of the devil.
While parading the suspect at the Criminal Investigative Department, the Commissioner of Police, Mr. Sani Mohammed, said the suspect was apprehended following a report by the father of the victim, Mr. Martins Ijiwo.
According to the police, the cleric, who lives in the Alikima Mararaba area of the state, lured the victim into his house under the pretext of casting out demons from her.
The police boss said the cleric allegedly pushed her to his bed and raped her repeatedly. The commissioner said the suspect threatened to kill the victim if she reported the incident to any member of her family.
However, when the father of the girl learnt of the incident, he reported the matter to the police. The police subsequently stormed the pastor’s home and arrested him.
Policemen also recovered bottles of anointing oil from the suspect’s home as well as a bedspread. The CP said,
“The pastor took advantage of his closeness to the girl’s family – who are members of his congregation – to rape their 13-year-old daughter under the guise of casting out demons from her.”
While speaking with Punch at the police command, the pastor confessed to the crime, adding that he didn’t know what came over him when he committed the crime.
He said:
“I had been into evangelism for some years now and I have been casting out demons from people who have spiritual and family problems before I met this young girl through her father, Mr. Martins Ijiwo.“I have been a friend of the family for quite some time.“I used my anointing oil to lure her into my room and all of a sudden, I was carried away and before I knew what was happening, I saw myself making love to her.”

On the 9th of November, 2015, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Chairman, Ibrahim Lamorde was replaced with Ibrahim Magu. A statement by president Buhari‘s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, read:
“Mr. Magu, who is an Assistant Commissioner of Police, is to take over from Mr. Ibrahim Lamorde, who is proceeding on terminal leave ahead of the formal expiration of his tenure in February, next year,” .
According to The Nation, a Presidency source claimed that Lamorde’s exit was conveyed to him early in the day but his exit was handled with dignity by the President.
A source, who spoke in confidence said:
“The EFCC chairman has been removed following some allegations against him and security report.
“The Senate is looking into alleged mismanagement of N1.3trillion recovered by the anti-graft agency. The Presidency was uncomfortable with some disclosures by the petitioner, George Uboh.
“While the government does not want to tamper with the ongoing probe by the Senate, it believes it is untidy to allow the EFCC chairman to be rubbished. It is better for Lamorde to step aside.”
Another factor, which was said to have accounted for the exit of Lamorde was a security report on his alleged relationship with some former officials of former President Goodluck Jonathan’s administration.
It was gathered that the Presidency was angry that the EFCC did not take action on former Minister of Petroleum Resources Mrs. Diezani Alison-Madueke until the National Crimes Agency in the United Kingdom invited her for questioning.
The government’s thinking, it was learnt, was that there were sufficient grounds to prevent Diezani from travelling to the UK.
It was also learnt that the EFCC bid its time in managing the investigation of former Akwa Ibom Governor Godswill Akpabio when sister agencies raised the alarm.
Akpabio led the PDP Caucus in the Senate to defend Lamorde when the allegation of N1.3trillion fraud was made.
The EFCC has battled in the last few months to protect its image and that of Lamorde.
Uboh had in a petition to the Senate Committee on Ethics, Privileges and Public Petition claimed that Lamorde and EFCC could not account for over N1trillion.
But the EFCC said the cash and assets seized from the two convicts were intact. It said there was no diversion of either cash or assets seized from a former Inspector-General of Police, Mr. Tafa Balogun and former Bayelsa Governor Diepreye Alamieyeseigha.
The commission said Balogun forfeited N2, 258,100,516.87 in 11 accounts, including accruing interest. It also said the N3, 128, 230, 294.83 realised from the assets of Alamieyeseigha was remitted to the Federal Government through the Federal Ministry of Finance in favour of Bayelsa State.
As part of the security report, a petition by a lawyer, Leo Ekpenyong to President Muhammadu Buhari was also said to have triggered Lamorde’s exit.
Ekpenyong said in part:
“It would be recalled that sequel to my petitions against the former Governor Akpabio’s administration dated 8th, 22nd June and August 3rd respectively, the Senate Minority leader was invited by the EFCC and after his departure from the Commission he bragged to his supporters that Lamorde was under his control and nothing reasonable would come out of his investigation.“
It was against this background that I raised the alarm, urging the Federal Government to sack Lamorde since it was apparent that justice would not be done to our petitions taking into consideration the deliberate and unnecessary delays at investigations and possible prosecution.
There was also concern last night that Lamorde’s running battle with a former acting director of the Nigerian Financial Intelligence Unit(NFIU), Juliet Ibekaku, accounted for his removal.
“The crisis of confidence between Lamorde and Ibekaku was dirty. She made many documents available to the Presidency, “ said an insider.
Beauty they say lies in the eyes of the beholder. In simple terms, beauty is what every individual sees with their eyes.
Every individual has their own way of measuring beauty. What might be beautiful to some might not be beautiful to the other but there are some women who generally fit the word “beauty”.

Ghananian Actress, Model and Film Producer talked about some of the problem affecting Ghana Movie Industry and she blames it largely on lack of unity and jealousy among its players.
The actress, who spoke to Ghana’s Suncity FM on her ban by Film Producers Association of Ghana back in 2010 said the industry especially English-speaking movies, is currently limping on ‘one leg’ and risks a total collapse.
‘It looks like there is too much envy in the movie industry. Instead of focusing on building the industry, when something happens and it is negative, they want to capitalize on it. It is like everybody wants to suck your blood out. When something is negative then they are happy. It saddens me and that is why we are where we are now. The movie industry is like on one leg. A year will come that we will shoot only two English movies.’ she said.
She further stated ‘It is because of jealousness. It is that attitude that when someone does something, they say that that person is being too known… we are not united,’
Film Producers Association of Ghana banned Yvonne Nelson for a year from acting in any Ghanaian or Nigerian produced movie in 2010. Yvonne’s ban was based on accumulation of several alleged incidents of her disrespectful and rude attitude towards fellow actresses, producers and crew members on location and even when off-camera.

Often times you may be attracted to a guy but don’t have an idea on how to make him glance your way. He may be that guy you keep bumping into at your favorite food joint, the cute guy who is always in the library or that guy who lives close to you.
Don’t know what to do? Here’s how to get him to do the chasing after seven days.
First day – Make eye contact: The way you stare at someone says a lot more than your words. Look at him in a way that he’ll know you are actually interested in him.
Second day – Do a small introduction: You can begin a conversation with him by introducing yourself. Don’t tell him your life history, just a little but interesting chat will be fine.
Third day – Keep him interested: You started by introducing yourself the previous day, there’s a chance he might be the one to do the talking today.
This could mean you managed to get him interested in you. Try to sustain this by having further conversations with him. Don’t say no if he asks you out for lunch.
A 19 year old student of Gaskia College, Amukoko, Lagos, Saka Hammed, who allegedly stabbed the school’s Labour prefect, Saheed Jimoh, to death on Wednesday for punishing him over being late to school, has been arrested by police.
He was allegedly arrested by policemen attached to Amukoko Division, sometime around 6.40p.m. yesterday.
According to Vanguard, when they visited Gaskia College yesterday, normal school activities had resumed as students were seen in their respective classes receiving lectures.
Officials from the office of Educational Quality Assurance, Zone 14, were also seen in the school, compiling reports of the incident.
A man who identified himself as the Vice Principal said he couldn’t talk to reporters.
However, a student, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said:
“There are several cult factions in the school. It is an open secret that many students are involved in cult-related activities and the use of charms.
“One of the common charms used by some of the students is called ‘no touch blood’, which is a very poisonous charm that kills instantly when it comes in contact with blood.
“Perhaps, in the case of Saheed, his killer could have tried to test the potency of the charm.”
Another senior student of the school revealed that that Hammed only resumed for the term on Monday. He said Hammed had failed woefully and was supposed to repeat SSS 2.
He said he used to be in the same class as the deceased when they were in SS2 but the deaceased passed and was promoted to SSS 3. But he stopped coming to school.
He said:
“On Monday, his father brought him to school to see the principal. Only for the incident to occur on Wednesday.”
For the fifth time the Nigerian Golden Eaglets became only the second side to retain the FIFA U-17 World Cup with a 2-0 win against Mali in Vina Del Mar. Nigeria won in 1985, 1993, 2007, 2013, and now in 2015 in Chile.
The Nigerian team won the maiden edition of FIFA U-17 World Cup in 1985 in China, the fifth edition of the tournament in 1993 in Japan, the twelfth edition of the tournament in 2007 in South Korea, the fifteenth held in the United Arab Emirates 2013 and again the sixteenth in Chile 2015.
Victor Osimhen stole the show once again thanks to his record-breaking tenth goal of the tournament, with Funsho Bamgboye adding a second moments later. Samuel Diarra had saved an early Osinachi Ebere penalty as the Malians played their part in an entertaining finale to Chile 2015.
The penalty came as both sides were just finding their rhythm in the opening exchanges, Chato the culprit with a handball. Ebere saw his low effort saved brilliantly by Diarra, the No17’s follow up header hit the bar before a third bite of the cherry was blocked by the Malian defence.
Both sides had chances in a tense opening period, with Golden Eaglets skipper Kelechi Nwakali hitting just wide and Boubacar Traore seeing his glancing header tipped over by Akpan Udoh.
The second half saw the game burst into life, with Emmanuel Amuneke’s words clearly working their magic on the Nigerian youngsters. Osimhen shrugged off the challenge of Mamadou Fofana before hitting a wonderful dipping half volley towards goal, which Diarra spectacularly saved. Udochukwu Anumudu then smashed a thunderous effort at goal, which rebounded back off the crossbar and was cleared away.
Mali did not heed those warnings. Good approach play by substitute Chinedu Madueke saw him tee up Osimhen for his record-breaking goal, seeing him surpass the nine goals scored by Florent Sinama Pongolle in 2001 and Souleymane Coulibaly ten years later.
The holders doubled their advantage mere minutes later, with Bamgboye bursting down the Nigerian left before smashing a powerful effort at goal, Diarra standing little chance.
Despite a couple of late chances for Mali, from corner kicks, Nigeria retained possession for large spells and saw the game out to retain their crown. The jubilant scenes on the final whistle in Vina Del Mar will surely live long in the memories of these Nigerian heroes of the present, some of whom may just become the stars of the future.
Happy birthday to my first love. I miss you everyday daddy, there’s so much I have to say but I can’t’t find the words. I carry you with me, I pray for you. You left so early but the God you served with everything did not leave those you left behind. I remember as a kid you discovered my love for talking really early, you always said that I would be a lawyer cos i could talk up a storm and when i was naughty you would have me sit in the corner of your room and read the daily newspapers to you just to keep me from going to cause trouble or fight my siblings. I knew you had read the stories, but my punishment would be to read it over and over again till I was exhausted. Sometimes you fell asleep daddy and when I stopped reading, you opened your eyes to tell me to continue. Thank you for the legacy of Christ you gave me, Thank you for your light. You are alive in my dreams, I celebrate you today daddy, I wish you were here to cheer me on. I hope I have made you proud so far, I hope I keep making you proud. Watch over me please, my own guardian angel. Love you always. #Daddysgirl #Nov7th #Calebsday
