Nigerian crossdresser, Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has declared people who do not flaunt their wealth as broke.

The controversial Barbie took to his Snapchat to share a picture of himself and complain about people who still had issues with him and described his attitude as showing off when he was just trying to enjoy his wealth.

According to him, only broke people would not show off their wealths.

In his words;

“Sad….. some people still see my lifestyle as show off and oppression. My dear I’m rich i need to flaunt my wealth. D reason why many of you don’t show off like me is because you are BROKE.”

In other news, Bobrisky, has warned people to be watchful of their house-helps this festive period following his experience.

The self-styled ‘male barbie’ took to Snapchat to reveal that his maid attempted to cart away jewelry worth over N3 million from his house.

Fortunately, the maid was caught before she could leave the premises, and the jewelries were retrieved from her.

Bobrisky, who said he doesn’t want to reveal the identity of the maid, said she quietly asked her to pack her belongings and leave his house.

Narrating the incident, Bobrisky wrote,

“My housegirl stole from me.

I’m not that person that like to post people face to clout chase i just quietly ask her to pack her bag and leave my house.

Gold jewelry… so she was supposed to go home today for her off then resume on Monday. And i already intructed my gate man not to let any of my house girl leave my house without my go ahead to open d gate. She knew i sleep late and wake late.

Before waking up dis morning she pack two gold earring and one ring then wrap it in one of her underwear.. then left to the gate to leave. My gateman ask her if she has told me she said no that I’m still sleeping..

So he insisted she must tell me before she leave.

Popular Instagram comedian and content creator, Adebayo Ridwan, better known as Bae U, has finally broken his silence following the death of his father, Nollywood actor, Kamal Adebayo.

The Yoruba actor popularly known as Sir K. passed away two days after the Christmas celebration which threw many thespians and fans into a mournful state.

Isbae U posted a video of his father, Kamal Adebayo on his Instagram page to convey his sorrow over his status as an orphan.

In a lengthy post, he wrote;

“I lost my Dad , i lost my Biggest Fan, I lost my Hero , I lost my friend , …I feel Empty , I feel Confused And I feel Lost, I can’t Believe I am An Orphan !

Football Legend, Pele, dies aged 82

Brazil footballing legend and three-time World Cup winner,Edson Arantes do Nascimento popularly known as Pele has died at the age of 82.

Pele burst on to the global scene as a teenager at the 1958 World Cup, helping Brazil to the first of their record five successes in the competition.

In September 2021, Pele was treated for colon cancer and also underwent a surgery to remove a tumour in September 2021.

The beloved Legend was however admitted back into hospital at the end of November to re-evaluate his cancer treatment, he was diagnosed with a respiratory infection before subsequently being moved to palliative care when his body became unresponsive to chemotherapy.

Pele officially scored 757 goals in 831 games during a glittering career from 1957 to 1977.

Pele’s daughter Kely Nascimento who confirmed his demise, wrote on Instagram: ‘We are thanks to you. We love you infinitely. Rest in peace.’

Actor, Alex Ekubo’s ex-fiancee, Fancy Acholonu has taken to social media to tender a public apology to him months after she called off their wedding.

Fancy broke the internet in August 2021 when she announced that she has ended her relationship with the actor and would not be proceeding with the wedding.

Their traditional wedding was scheduled to take place on November 20, 2021, in Imo state, and the white wedding was to take place in Lagos state on November 27, 2021.

In a post shared on her Instagram page this evening, Fancy expressed her love for Alex and added that she misses him. She asked him to forgive her for the way she handled things.

She wrote;

A Nigerian lady, identified simply as Lucie, has recounted how she was the cynosure of all eyes at a Christmas party because of her decent dressing and natural face.

Lucie, who took to Facebook on Wednesday, December 8, to narrate her experience, said she was complemented by everyone at the party over how beautiful she looked without makeup and revealing clothes.

According to her, though other ladies “slayed” with their makeup and dressing, she was the most popular woman at the event.

She posted a photo from the party and wrote,

Nigerian filmmaker and Youtuber, Eniola Korty Olanrewaju has taken to social media to appreciate God for helping her stay out of relationships and love.

The Vlogger took to the microblogging platform, Twitter to list out all the things she had achieved in the year and included not falling in love as one of her wins.

According to her, she had traveled to four different countries and gotten herself a car and a house but was saved from doing something terrible like, almost falling in love.

Former First Lady, Michelle Obama has revealed that she could not stand her husband, former US President Barack Obama, for ten years of their marriage when their daughters were young.

Michelle made this disclosure during a candid round-table interview with Revolt on Thursday, while she spoke about the challenges of raising two young daughters while advancing their careers and the strain it put on the marriage.

“We don’t talk about how much work is required and how hard it is even when you are madly in love with the person, even when everything works out right. People think I’m being catty by saying this: it’s like, there were 10 years where I couldn’t stand my husband. And guess when it happened? When those kids were little.” She said.

According to her, it was tough balancing raising the girls with their own hectic schedules.

“And for 10 years while we’re trying to build our careers and, you know, worrying about school and who’s doing what and what, I was like, ‘Ugh, this isn’t even. And guess what? Marriage isn’t 50/50, ever, ever.

“There are times I’m 70, he’s 30. There are times he’s 60, 40, but guess what: 10 years — we’ve been married 30. I would take 10 bad years over 30 — it’s just how you look at it. And people give up . . . ‘five years; I can’t take it.” She added.

Speaking further, she said,

“Malia and Sasha Obama were 10 and 7, respectively, when their father was elected president. Little kids, they’re terrorists. They have demands. They don’t talk. They’re poor communicators. They cry all the time. They’re irrational. They’re needy. And you love them. And so you can’t blame them, right? . . . So you turn that ire on each other.

Throughout the ups and downs, Michelle said she still admired her spouse. She stressed it’s important to know “your person.” Do you like him? A Nigerian man, identified simply as Temitope, has taken to social media to celebrate his achievements and milestones in 2022.

Temitope, a professional writer, in a post shared via his Twitter handle on Tuesday, December 27, said he made his first million naira, bought his first car, bought his first land and rented his first apartment in 2022.

Describing the year as one where he was persistent with his goals, he shared photos of his four “firsts” including the car, house, land, and one million naira sitting pretty in his bank account.

Nigerian rapper, Sodiq Abubakar Yusuf, better known as CDQ, has been hospitalised after seriously falling ill.

CDQ revealed this in a post on his Snapchat account.

In a video he shared on Snapchat, the rapper is seen receiving treatment at the intensive care unit (ICU) of an undisclosed hospital.

Sharing the video, he revealed that he saw his life flash before his eyes and thanked God for reviving him.

He said he has never felt so helpless in his life that, at one point, he thought he was dead.

“Alhamdulilah. I bless God for reviving me. I’ve never felt helpless in my life. Can’t thank you enough ‘Oluwa’. I thought ‘ awo loo’ like that this morning ni,” he wrote.

In other news, Bobrisky’s ailing fan, Lord Casted, who claimed to have contracted HIV after he tattooed the crossdresser on his arm, has died.

Lord Casted, who went viral in 2021 after he inked Bobrisky’s tattoo on his body, had cried out a few months ago that he had contracted HIV from the machine that was used to draw the tattoo on his body.

In a video he shared online at the time, begging Bobrisky and well-meaning Nigerians for financial support for his medical treatment, Lord Casted appeared pale and weak.

However, in a sad development, Lord Casted has now succumbed to the illness and passed on.

A post on his Instagram page announcing his demise revealed he died on December 24, 2022.

An old video of popular comedian, Bright Okpocha, better known as Basketmouth, and his wife, Elsie, saying they can never get divorced has surfaced online.

The re-emergence of the video comes a week after Basketmouth announced the end of their 12-year old marriage which produced three children.

In the throwback clip, the comedian and his wife are seen playing a Question and Answer game when he asked if there’s anything he can do that would make her divorce him.

“What can your spouse do for you to divorce him?” Basketmouth asked.

Before his wife could respond, Basketmouth answered the question for her, saying, “There’s nothing. Nothing.”

However, Elsie jokingly asked, “Am I not supposed to answer the question?” Basketmouth then said she knows he’s right, adding that they have a good marriage so it’s not possible for them to split up.

Controversial Nigerian singer, Portable has caused a massive stir after he made a grand entrance at his show in a white coffin.

Portable had his concert at the New African Shrine on December 28, and he gave a grand entrance that has since got people talking.

The “Ika of Africa” star arrived at the show in a white coffin. The coffin was carried to the stage by pallbearers dressed in matching white outfits, with the singer inside.

He was ushered in with chants and praises, accompanied by a drummer who gave an impressive beat with a talking drum.

After the pallbearers dropped the coffin on the stage, the singer exited the coffin and began his performance.

Gbenga Raheem, the husband of Lagos-based lawyer, Bolanle Raheem, who was shot to death by a police officer on Christmas Day, December 25, has recounted the unfortunate incident.

In a trending audio recording narrating the incident that led to the death of his pregnant wife, Gbenga said he, his wife, and other family members that had visited them for the holiday had gone to a nearby church for service on Christmas day.

After their service at church, they decided to go out to an eatery since it was Christmas.

He said on their way back home, they made a U-turn under the Ajah bridge when they met some police officers stopping and searching cars.

Gbenga Raheem said that he suddenly heard a loud crack on his wife’s side window, only to discover that she had been shot and blood was gushing from her chest.

“On December 25, my wife, nieces, nephews, and cousins, who had come for the holiday, all went to church. On our way back, my wife said since it was Christmas Day, we should take everyone out, so, we went to a supermarket at Abraham Adesanya, then to Domino’s Pizza.

“After that, we headed towards Ajah to do a U-turn to come back to Abraham Adesanya. When we took the U-turn, we saw policemen stopping some vehicles. As we approached them, they said we should stop, and in the process, we heard a loud sound on my wife’s side window. All of a sudden, I saw blood gushing out of her chest.

“I immediately ran out; my sister-in-law, who was also with us, ran out and held the policeman; he cocked his gun at her too. Talking to him was pointless, so I went to see if anything could be done; I saw my wife gasping for breath, and by that time, my sister-in-law had brought the policeman into the car and pushed him into the front seat.

“We drove to a hospital but they said they couldn’t handle it; we eventually took her to Grandville Hospital, where she was confirmed dead. The policemen took her body and put it in the truck; they wanted me to follow them but I said I needed to go and settle my children.” He said.

Popular Nollywood actress, Destiny Etiko has confirmed that she has cut ties with her adopted daughter, Chinenye Eucharia, and adopted another little girl.

She shared a video of herself with her newly adopted child on her Instagram page just days after vowing she would never adopt a child again because they were disrespectful ingrates.

According to her, she had picked, trained, and spoiled Chinenye but all she received in return was disrespect and a lack of gratitude.

Destiny Etiko said that Chinenye had seriously damaged her while remaining relatively silent about the incident but said she still loved her and wished her the best despite her wrongdoings.

In her words;

“She hurt me. She hurt me so much. Not one, not twice. Sorry I can’t say. I tried to keep it cause I love her. I love Chinenye so much. I saw a girl coming from a ‘rich’ background and that I wanted to help. I meant well for her. I don’t want to give people story to talk about”.

Taking to her Instagram page to share a video of her new daughter, Destiny threw shade at Chinenye as she vowed to never stop being nice. Comparing her new adopted daughter to her, she stated that she was still very small and as such wouldn’t possess Chinenye’s bad behavior.

Big Brother Naija season 4 winner, Mercy Eke, has expressed her joy as she celebrates her debut in a Netflix movie series.

The video streaming platform, Netflix announced that a new Nigerian series starring the reality tv star will start streaming on the forum on January 20, 2023.

Recall that the couple, who met during the BBNaija 2019 edition, started dating on the show and continued till the show ended.

They even had a reality TV show called “Mercy & Eke” where they documented their love life and marriage plans. Sadly, their relationship hit the rocks in 2020.

Speaking in the recent interview, Mercy Eke said she stayed with Ike because of the money involved otherwise she would have dumped him.

According to Mercy, she genuinely liked Ike at first but at some point, their relationship became performative and was majorly for the camera.

Veteran Nollywood Actress turned Pastor, Mrs. Obot Etuk has advised individuals to be careful not to minimize their parents’ contributions anytime they get the chance to make a victory speech.

Popular media personality and actress, Bolanle Olukanni has called out the Lagos State Police PRO, Benjamin Hundeyin, for his choice of words while reacting to the shooting of pregnant Bolanle Raheem by a police officer.

The pregnant Bolanle Raheem was shot and killed by a policeman in front of her family on Christmas Day.

PRO, Benjamin Hundeyin had reacted to the fatal shooting on the microblogging platform, Twitter as an “unfortunate and avoidable incident”.

He wrote;

“Unfortunate and avoidable incident that was. The ASP that shot and two others with him have since been taken into custody. They are to be moved to the SCID for further investigation.”

His choice of words did not sit well with Bolanle who said “unfortunate” and “avoidable” were words used when reacting to something minor, like missing an appointment, not when an innocent mother is killed by a police officer in the presence of her husband and child.

She said Hundeyin’s choice of words showed how indifferent authorities were to what was actually happening.

Taking to her official Instagram page to express her annoyance at the level of nonchalance, she shared a video calling out Benjamin.

She wrote;

“THE NIGERIAN POLICE FORCE: We have asked ourselves many times how can this change ? Where does the change begin – the leadership of the Nigerian Police have to care . They have to show their officers that the impunity is enough -these killings cannot continue to happen . The day after the Bolanle Raheem’s murder – I still police officers on the road doing stop and search. Man who fell ill after tattooing Bobrisky on his arm is dead

Bobrisky’s ailing fan, Lord Casted, who claimed to have contracted HIV after he tattooed the crossdresser on his arm, has died.

Lord Casted, who went viral in 2021 after he inked Bobrisky’s tattoo on his body, had cried out a few months ago that he had contracted HIV from the machine that was used to draw the tattoo on his body.

In a video he shared online at the time, begging Bobrisky and well-meaning Nigerians for financial support for his medical treatment, Lord Casted appeared pale and weak.

However, in a sad development, Lord Casted has now succumbed to the illness and passed on.

A post on his Instagram page announcing his demise revealed he died on December 24, 2022.

His mother also confirmed his demise in a conversation with local news media.

Meanwhile, Bobrisky, had slammed Lord Casted over claims of contracting HIV after inking a tattoo of his face on his body.

Bobrisky told him to stop lying about contracting the ailment as a result of the tattoo.

Bobrisky suggested that Lord Casted contracted HIV from having unprotected sexual relations with the opposite gender, contradicting the fan’s claim of getting it from the machine used to draw tattoos on his body.

A Nigerian woman has taken to social media to show off her housemaid’s transformation one year after she moved into her house to work as a help.

The woman, identified as @MrsSenator on TikTok, posted a video compilation of her housemaid’s before and after photos showing her physical changes.

The housemaid, who looked slender when she was newly employed by the woman, looked unrecognizable as she had evidently added weight and wore better-looking clothes after staying with her.

The video has stirred sweet reactions on social media as netizens applauded the woman for treating her househelp well.

An Instagram user with handle @ivysparkles123 wrote, “Some of these housemaids are actually fine na condition from their papa house bend them. Mine transformed like this in 1 year too. The dad kept thanking me”

However, some netizens berated the woman for employing an underage girl as a maid.
