The Ooni of Ife, His Imperial Majesty (HRM) Oba Enitan Ogunwusi, has married Ijebu Princess, Temitope Adesegun, making her his sixth wife.

The monarch’s wedding to Prince Temitope, which is his sixth in less than two months, held today, Monday, October 20, in Magodo, Lagos State.

Ooni of Ife’s marriage to his latest bride comes only four days after he married his fifth wife, Princess Ronke Ademiluyi.

Like the monarch’s previous weddings, he was not in attendance, but his royal guards, maids, palace chiefs, and royal staff were there to represent him.

A Kenyan-Nigerian man has shared how he’s been battling post-divorce trauma after getting a divorce from his wife, whom he caught cheating.

The man, simply identified as Jua on Twitter, in a series of tweets, recounted all his now ex-wife made him go through after he caught her cheating.

Jua said the experience was so traumatic that he still gets trauma from the legal process.

According to him, his ex-wife, who’s a devout church goer, kicked him out of his house, seized his mails, and was hell-bent on ending him because she was mad at him because he caught her cheating.

“My divorce was messy. So much was at stake. I still get traumas from the legal process. Everything was outed and I felt naked for public scrutiny just because of a cheating, vicious woman I loved decided to get greedy. I’m glad I wasn’t even poisoned or killed.

It was wild. The more I stayed away from her, the more obsessive she became. She was mad because I caught her cheating. She was hell-bent on ending me. A Nigerian lady reportedly caught her fiancé holding a secret wedding with another lady at the Ikoyi registry.

According to a Twitter user who shared the tale on the micro-blogging platform, the incident happened last week.

The tweep claimed the lady was at the registry for her friend’s wedding, only to walk into her fiancé tying the knot with another woman.

When the lady confronted her fiancé, he reportedly denied getting married and claimed he was only standing in for his brother, who’s in the UK.

A video making rounds online captures the moment a young Nigerian lady stole a wig from a store, and it has gotten people talking on social media.

In the CCTV footage, the lady who was well dressed and donned a Christian Dior handbag, pretended to be checking out wigs in the store when she shoplifted the wig.

She stylishly removed the wig from a mannequin put on display for shoppers and tossed it behind the table, and proceeded to hide the mannequin so the shop attendant would not notice that the wig was missing.

The yet-to-be identified lady, whose face was clearly visible in the video, then picked up the wig and hid it in her bag before walking out of the store. Unknown to her that the CCTV installed in the store caught her in the act.

The video has sparked mixed reactions online as netizens berated the lady for stealing a wig because she wants to live fake life.

Students cause a stir online with their ‘anti-cheating’ exam hats in the Philippines (photos)

Pictures of students wearing “anti-cheating” hats while writing their college exams in the Philippines is currently trending on social media.

It was learnt that the students of Engineering from Albay, Bicol, were told to wear headgears that would prevent them from peeking at their classmate’s papers during their exams, and they all came up with creative ideas.

They used cardboards, egg boxes and other recycled materials to create what has been called ‘anti-cheating’ hats by social media users, and the results are hilarious.

A professor of Mechanical Engineering at Bicol University College of Engineering, Mary Joy Mandane-Ortiz, said the initial request was for the students to make a simple design out of paper.

However, the engineers-in-training went the extra mile to create innovative headgears in “just five minutes” with whatever junk they found in the school. Some also donned hats, helmets or Halloween masks to fulfil the brief.

According to Prof Mandane-Ortiz, the idea was very effective as the students finished the exam on time and nobody was caught cheating this year.

Davido, who was at his father’s residence over the weekend ahead of his son, Ifeanyi,’s 3rd birthday party, shared a video on social media showing beautiful paintings of all Adeleke’s grandkids lined up on the wall.

The beautiful painting, which was arranged from the oldest grandchild to the youngest, showed Imade, Hailey, Ifeanyi, and their other cousins. Big Brother Naija star, Hermes, has cried out on social media after he was profiled by police officers in Lagos state.

The reality star, who had previously recounted how before the show he frequently found himself in police custody despite having committed no crime, because of his looks, was yet again profiled despite his new celebrity status.

A video Hermes shared via his social media page showed a police officer searching the car he was in with his team. At some point, they got down from the car as the police officer thoroughly searched their bags.

According to him, because of their looks, the officers were searching their vehicle and bags in search of drugs.

“Omo police don profile me, see my manager. This is profiling. They think we have money now and they are looking for drugs inside my vehicle. Policemen, they see we are fine. We were inside Uber we don’t have a car yet. They stopped us, we didn’t carry anything”, he narrated in one of the videos.

The struggling mother admitted that her kids attend the same expensive school as her rich sister’s kids, and the sister had helped to pay her kids’ school fees in the past, but is no longer willing to and is insisting that she take her kids to a school she can afford.

A Twitter user has called out a US-based Nigerian man for keeping his wife’s death a secret from her relatives for nine months.

According to the Twitter user identified as @Fadhlu_S, the man’s wife passed away nine months ago, but the husband kept the news of her passing from her family until someone called to inform them.

Fadhlu said the family had been calling the deceased’s phone for months before they got to know she had died, but the husband refused to answer the call.

When the family called the husband to ask about their daughter’s death, he confirmed that she had died 9 months ago and had been buried, but he forgot to inform them.

A Malawian man, identified as Francis Banda, has demolished the houses he built for his wife and her mother after she dumped him for another man.

According to the aggrieved man who spoke in an audio recording shared online by Malawi 24, he and his wife have been married for 13 years and have three children together.

During the course of their marriage, he used his money and resources to build a house for his wife and another for his mother-in-law in her village.

However, things went south when his wife started cheating on him with another man, and recently moved out of their matrimonial home to stay with her lover.

Banda said he tried to contact his wife and mother-in-law to reason with them but his wife’s phone was picked up by her new man which infuriated him to the bone.

Out of anger, he decided to tear down the houses he built for his wife and mother-in-law. A video of the moment the house was demolished by some men while a multitude of people watched is currently serving rounds online.

Reality TV star, Kiddwaya has reacted after his Caucasian girlfriend, Laura Dirtu, was advised to break up with him over his reaction to her new dress.

Laura had taken to TikTok to share a video of the Big Brother Naija star’s reaction to her dress and it sparked mixed reactions on the platform.

In the video, Laura was trying on a new dress when Kiddwaya walked into the room, then she asked about his opinion about the dress. In response, Kiddwaya who was focused on a football game on his phone said, “It’s nice. Nice”.

After Laura shared the video on TikTok, it stirred a barrage of reactions from TikTok users, specifically women, who slammed Kiddwaya over his “cold compliment” to his girlfriend and many advised Laura to dump him because he doesn’t deserve her.

According to the critics, she is better off single than dating a man like Kiddwaya.

Reacting to the negative comments, Kiddwaya took to Twitter to assert that women are their own worst enemies.

He also shared a video on his Instastories where he expressed shock at the bad comments that riddled his lover’s post.

A Nigerian medical doctor, identified as Bella Nifemi, has openly expressed her desire to become the eighth wife of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi.

This comes after the revered monarch married five wives, and is set to marry the sixth in less than two months.

Only a week after taking his 5th wife, the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye, has announced that he is to take a 6th wife, Dr. Temitope Adesegun, in Lagos today, October 24.

In a quite interesting development, a medical doctor identified as Bella Nifemi who hails from Ekiti state has via her Twitter page declared her interest in being one of the Ooni of Ife’s queens.

She shared a photo of herself in a regal white attire and captioned it, “This is my submission to be Ooni’s 8th wife. I’m also a Medical Doctor and I will represent Twitter and Ekiti community well”.

Queen Tobi Phillips, one of the new wives of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, has recounted how she prayed to God to bless her with a gift that would shock people, and he swiftly granted her request.

Queen Tobi, who shared her testimony in a lengthy Instagram post, said she was pushed to make the prayer request after a man said he didn’t see her as the kind of woman that would get married.

She said the incident happened around July or August this year, when the man told her that he doesn’t see her kind of woman getting married because she is too “vavavoom.”

She said the man’s demeaning statement made her go to God in prayer, asking for a gift that would leave many in awe.

She added that she promised God that she would dance every Sunday in thanksgiving if he answered her prayers.

Thankfully, in less than a month, God granted her request and blessed her with a spouse. Recall that Tobi got married to the Ooni of Ife in September, 2022.

“Late July or Early August someone made a statement that struck a Nerve in Me, I kept my cool with a smile…. (this Guy Literally Said “He doesn’t see my Kind of Woman Getting Married, because he thinks I’m too Vavavoom”) And That Was The Straw That Broke The Camel’s Back.

Businesswoman Sandra Iheuwa has vehemently kicked against the idea of marrying an illiterate person.

In a post shared on her Instastories, the businesswoman who shares a child with Ubi Frankling and whose marriage to businessman Steve Thompson crashed few months after they tied the knot, said an educated person will find it hard to have an intellectual conversation if their significant other is not educated.

She added that due to the difference in qualification, the union will never work out.

A Nigeiran man has taken to his social media page to share how he was almost scammed by a P.O.S attendant and how he was able to prevent it.

Twitter user @Iam_gifted had gone to withdraw money and the attendant tried to take a picture of his ATM card to get the numbers written on it. She held on to the card for too long and he suspected something dodgy was going on instead.

He startled her and caught her taking pictures with the intent to send them to her boyfriend.

“Please, you guys should be careful how you withdraw money from POS. Yesterday I went out to withdraw from the POS. When I gave the girl my card to withdraw money, she bent down to pick up something which happens to be my ATM card
I was tired of waiting for her to stand up, so, I opened the door and saw her taking pictures of my ATM card numbers. She got shocked and tried to hide her phone from me but I told her I will call the police to arrest her if she doesn’t say the truth to me.
She later confessed that she do send the pictures to her boyfriend so they can withdraw money from people’s account.” he tweeted.

The United States embassy in Nigeria has warned Americans in Nigeria to be mindful of their movement in the country due to the elevated risk of terror attacks in Nigeria, specifically in Abuja.

In a security alert issued today October 23, the US embassy advised its citizens to avoid all non-essential travel or movement, stay alert and avoid crowds.

The security alert in part reads

“There is an elevated risk of terror attacks in Nigeria, specifically in Abuja. Targets may include, but are not limited to, government buildings, places of worship, schools, markets, shopping malls, hotels, bars, restaurants, athletic gatherings, transport terminals, law enforcement facilities, and international organizations.

The U.S. Embassy will offer reduced services until further notice. Actions to Take: Avoid all non-essential travel or movement. Stay alert. Avoid crowds.

Review your personal security plans and keep your cell phone charged in case of emergency. Carry proper identification.”

In the meantime, the Department of State Services has urged Nigerians to stay alert and assist security agencies with information on suspicious criminals in their neighborhoods.

A differently-abled young man has taken to Twitter to narrate how he was able to educate two children who were amazed by his disability.

He explained how he was able to communicate and answer any questions they may have in a loving mannner and encouraged parents to do the same too.

The girl still kept on talking and this time around pointing at me. I walked up to them and I asked “do you have any question for me?…here I am”. They couldn’t talk. So I smiled and told them I can’t walk with my two legs and that’s why I’m using crutches and it’s no more a problem for me. They looked at me with so much love.

As parents, teachers and community – lets learn to educate children about disabilities so that they can learn to live peacefully and work with people with disabilities in present and in future.
Whoever rejects employing someone with disability that is competent for the job, check their background as a child. ”

The thespian took to instagram to thank God as he shared a video

He pointed out that many drowned in the Mediterranean Sea while others died in the desert as they tried to run away from “a wicked government,” but he succeeded.

The latest US citizen however advised his Nigerian fans to ensure they participate in 2023’s General elections in a subtle way as he revealed that he has his Permanent Voter’s Card.
