A Nigerian man has raised the bar by gifting his girlfriend a brand-new Mercedes Benz for Christmas.

He organized a surprise party and unveiled the surprise car gift with some of their close friends in attendance.


The young lady was visibly shocked and excited as he led her to where the car was parked.

As the girl got into the leather seat of the Benz to formally launch it, friends could be seen praising and applauding the couple.

The video was tagged with the caption; ”December gift came early”.

In related news, A businessman has gifted his employee who worked with him for seventeen years a Mercedes Benz for his loyalty and dedication.

The businessman with Twitter handle @lionofjada took to the microblogging platform to share photos of his employee, whose name he gave as Rowland, posing with his new whip.

He said Rowland stood by him through thick and thin and remained loyal to him throughout his seventeen years of service.

To appreciate him for his loyalty, he decided to buy him a Mercedes Benz to support his next career goal of becoming a driver with a ride-hailing app.

Moment armed robbers invaded church in South Africa while pastor was preaching (WATCH)

Suspected armed robbers invaded a Seventh Day Adventist church in Johannesburg, South Africa as the pastor was preaching.

The incident is reported to have occurred at the church located two streets from Noord Taxi Rank on Saturday afternoon, November 26, 2022.

According to Harare Live, the six gunmen disguised themselves as visitors and as the service began, they drew their weapons and ordered the pastor and the entire congregation to sit down.

The visibly shaken pastor complied with the robbers as the church camera captured the incident. The robbers were said to have carted away phones, wallets, and tithe money.

In other news, new photos of Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo, the lead Pastor of Commonwealth of Zion Assembly popularly known as COZA have left people seriously concerned about his health.

It is rumored that the clergyman has been rarely seen in public and the photos shared by COZA shows him having a rather weary look.

Nollywood actress, Lilian Afegbai has advised people to never give up on finding true love just because of negative experiences.

Lilian posted videos of herself with seasoned actress Rita Dominic, who got married to her fiancé Fidelis Anosike on November 26, 2022, in North Yorkshire, England, and shared this advice on her Instagram story.

She wrote;

“Love is such a beautiful feeling. I don’t intend to give up on love. The wrong ones shouldn’t stop you from giving it a chance. Live a little,” she wrote.

In related news, Lilian has opined that there’s something wrong with a man who does not have a house of his own before settling down.

The thespian who stated this in a chat with media personality, Toke Makinwa noted that if she, as a young girl, can afford to own basic things like a house and a car, then a man thinking of getting married is expected to have these things.

Speaking on her preference in men, Lilian said she’s not rich but she is comfortable, and she wants a man who is comfortable enough and has the basics, like a house and a car.

When Toke asked if the house must be his own or a rented apartment, Lilian responded that the house should be in his name.

Italian Police have detained a woman identified as Sandra Fratus, 51, on suspicion of killing her Nigerian husband, Ernest Emperor Mohamed.

On Friday night, November 25, 2022, Fratus allegedly stabbed 31-year-old Mohammed in the chest with a knife following a violent argument at their home in Morengo, a town in Bergamo province.

According to the police, the suspect allegedly attempted to revive the victim after stabbing him by massaging his heart prior to the arrival of paramedics.

The woman’s 23-year-old son was the first to discover what had happened after arriving home and seeing that his mother had changed her relationship status on Facebook to “widow.”

Sandra Fratus is being charged with “voluntary homicide aggravated by futile reasons.”

The defense attorney for the suspect hinted that Sandra may have reached for the knife in an effort to defend herself by stating that there had been “deep discomfort and fragility” in the home for some time.

A Nigerian doctor has shared a shocking tale of paternity fraud between a couple and the wife’s ex-boyfriend.

The woman had allegedly had an affair with her ex a few days before her wedding but confessed to her husband and he forgave her.

According to the doctor, the woman gave birth nine months later and the ex laid claim to the child and insisted on a DNA test to prove his right.

The husband eventually agreed and gave some conditions that were eventually met and the test carried out, the results came in and proved the child did not belong to either of the men.

A Nigerian landlord has shocked netizens with his reason for issuing his tenant an eviction notice from his property.

The landlord identified as Enobong Nsimah sent a letter to the tenant he referred to as Ubong and highlighted all his wrongdoings.

He said Ubong was a prostitute that brought different women to his house daily and he could not condone such an act anymore.

According to Enobong, the foundation of his house was beginning to shake due to Ubong’s promiscuity and he needed to rid his property of what he described a demon spirit of prostitution.

“Dear Ubong
Your tenancy agreement will expire on November 30, 2022 and I will not accept renewal regardless of our mutual friendship. Your daily act of prostitution in which several women both young and old are brought to the apartment currently occupied by you can no longer be tolerated. You and your friend Unwana have successfully turned my house into a brothel, and today, the foundation of my house has failed because of your daily act of prostitution.
I have warned you severally to desist from your indiscriminate sexual activities but to no avail. I will not take this nonsense again.

A Nigerian lady has decided to shoot her shot at a man on Twitter after he revealed he had a ring but no lady to propose to yet.

It all started when a Twitter relationship expert asked couples who are married to share their wedding photos.

He wrote;

A male user took to the comment section to show off a wedding ring he owned and indicated that he is yet to find a wife.

The lady decided to show interest in the man and offer her hand for him to put the ring on. The two immediately struck a conversation and were interested to know more about each other.

Sammie Okposo’s manager, Hillary Vincent, has opened up about how the “Wellu Wellu” crooner passed away.

The veteran gospel singer allegedly slumped and died last Friday, according to numerous sources, as was initially disclosed.


Vincent refuted the claim in an interview with Punch, revealing that Sammie Okposo passed away peacefully.

He said;

“It is not true that Sammie slumped and died. That report is false. At the right time, the family will set the

records straight. But, I can tell you authoritatively that he did not slump. Rather, he just did not wake up from his sleep.

As the inauguration ceremony holds, the Adeleke family were spotted taking a pose for the camera and while at it, Davido’s dad could be heard asking him where his fiancée, Chioma is.

Biodun was heartbroken as she pleaded with women not to give birth to kids if they lacked love and compassion.

She made a video and shared it on her Instagram page, admonishing women to desist from birthing, adopting, and accepting any child, knowing they lack the patience needed to properly raise a child.

She begged women to stop accepting children and end up abusing and maltreating them.

In related news, The Ondo State Police Command has apprehended a 54-year-old man, Ojo Joseph, for allegedly setting ablaze five of his stepchildren.

The tragic incident happened at the Fagun Crescent area of Ondo town, headquarters of Ondo West Local Government Area of the state.

According to reports, the suspect poured petrol into the room of his stepchildren and set them ablaze while asleep.

A source within the area who spoke to Nigerian Tribune, said the man perpetrated the heinous act because the mother of the children allegedly denied him sex and they have been having misunderstandings over the issue.

According to the source, the alarm which was raised by the children attracted the neighbours who raced to the scene of the incident to save the children, but one of them was burnt to death in the inferno.

The mother of the seven children is said to have escaped from the inferno with her twins with a minor injury, but four of the children were rushed to a clinic where they were referred to the Federal Medical Centre, Owo, for medical treatment.

Confirming the incident on Sunday, spokesperson of the command, Funmi Odunlami said the man had been arrested for a case of alleged arson and murder.

The PPRO explained that the suspect is the stepfather of the victims and not their biological father, but said the suspect is the father of the 18-month-old twins.

Odunlami said an investigation had commenced into the matter and the man would be charged to court after the investigation.

A new video that’s trending online shows bags of damaged Naira notes that were discovered weeks after CBN announced and unveiled newly re-designed N200, N500 and N1000 notes.

In the video that’s now serving rounds on the web, bundles of naira notes that have apparently been damaged due to moisture are seen in the bags.

President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday, November 23 unveiled the redesigned Naira Notes.

The president unveiled the new N200, N500, and N1,000 denominations as proposed by the CBN before the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting at the State House, Abuja.

Photos of the redesigned notes that have circulated online show that the denominations have a similar appearance to the previous look, but with a slight color difference.

Nigerians then took to social media to share their opinions on photos of the Naira notes currently making the rounds, with the majority expressing disappointment in the new design.

Reacting, a Twitter user @Adewale Adetona wrote, “They just added Snapchat filter to the existing Naira notes to make the new ones.”

Comedian, Basket Mouth wrote, “They clearly used a Snapchat filter for this.”

Nigerian lawmaker, Shehu Sani wrote, “If it’s Naira colour,the CBN should have just engage Snapchat”.

A Nigerian man identified as Mustapha Ahmad Junaid has taken to his social media page to mourn his wife, Fatima Zarah, on what would have been their first wedding anniversary.

Mustapha and Zarah got married on Friday, November 26, 2021, in Sokoto State.

Zarah however passed away on Wednesday, September 7, 2022, eight months after their wedding.

According to Mustapha, he has been in agaony since Zarah’s death

Portuguese footballer, Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly took his Portugal team-mates out for dinner at the World Cup in Qatar following their win against Ghana.

Ronaldo who scored from the penalty spot in Portugal’s opening 3-2 victory over Ghana in his first match since his exit from Old Trafford, spent quality time with the Portuguese squad by going for dinner after Fernando Santos gave them a break away from training. Only Jose Sa, Joao Cancelo and Bernardo Silva were missing after they went to spend time with their loved ones.

According to El Espanol, Ronaldo took his team-mates out for dinner at the recently opened Tatel de Doha restaurant on Al Maha Island – which the 37-year-old star has links with. He also reportedly picked up the tab.

The Tatel de Doha belongs to Mabel Hospitality, which has Ronaldo and tennis legend, Rafael Nadal, among others as partners of the company.

Uche was alarmed as to why Rita chose actress, Kate Henshaw because he believed someone who has experienced marriage and divorce should not be a bridesmaid for another wedding.

Rita Dominic and her husband Fidelis Anosike had their white wedding at a manor in North Yorkshire, England, on Saturday, November 26.

This comes seven months after the actress and her husband tied the knot in her hometown in Imo State.

Popular reality TV star, Khloe has revealed that she can only have children when she is ready for them because her womb is sealed.

A Nigerian lady shocked her boyfriend with information about another man trying to woo her.

She told her partner that the person had given her a brand-new iPhone 13 and N450,000 so she could upgrade her clothes.

She reminded her lover in a WhatsApp discussion that was made public that the person was the one she had previously told him about.

Her boyfriend questioned her to find out if he was aware that she was in a relationship and asked why she was telling him about the things that another man had given her.

Good Samaritan lands in police custody after man he gave a lift died in his car in Abuja

A Facebook user has taken to the platform to narrate how the kindness of a person landed him in trouble in Abuja.

According to user, Bashiru Adamu, a driver decided to help someone he knows by giving him a lift to his destination. However, as they rode and he asked the man where he would drop, there was no response and it was later discovered that the man had died.

After the good Samaritan took the corpse to the police station, he was detained. The Facebook user wrote,

Very sad experience within my community today… A car owner decided to give a lift to someone he knows. A ride that’s not up to 20 minutes. On getting to where the guy will drop he asked the guy where will you drop… Unfortunately, the guy couldn’t answer him because he was dead. I went to the car, and I saw the guy it was a like movie, I felt like we could just call him and he will answer us.

He is currently detained in the police station where he took the dead body too 😭

FUD final year student reportedly arrested over a tweet where he said First Lady, “Aisha Buhari has gotten fatter by eating masses’ money”

A new report claims that State Security Service arrested a student of the Federal University Dutse over a five months old tweet which has been deemed defamatory against Nigeria First Lady Aisha Buhari.

Peoples Gazette reports that one Aminu Adamu Muhammed, a final year student of Environmental Management And Toxicology at FUD, Jigawa State, had sometime in June posted on Twitter that Mrs Buhari had suddenly added massive weight after taking part in plundering the nation’s meagre resources.

In the tweet dated June 8, 2022, Mr Muhammed lambasted the first lady, Ms Buhari in Hausa: “Su mama anchi kudin talkawa ankoshi”, which is translated as “the mother has gotten fatter by eating masses’ money.”

According to the report, Mr Muhammed’s friends who have taken to social media, revealed that he made the post because he was at the time, frustrated about the prolonged strike by universities across the country. The ASUU strike which began in February 14, 2022, ended just last month, October 14th.

According to a family source, the 23-year-old student was picked up by officers on November 8 on the campus ground of Federal University Dutse, Jigawa. He was reportedly subjected to severe beating by the officers following his arrest at about 12:00 noon.

He was summarily transferred to Abuja and was briefly allowed to contact his father Adamu Shalele Azare about his location, which the family thought was a police station. Peoples Gazette was later informed that the State Security Service was behind Mr Muhammad’s arrest.

An angry white man has threatened a bunch of fraudsters who were attempting to swindle him and showed no remorse.

It is unclear if the boys had already stolen money from him, but they were on a video call and the international client was visibly furious.


The boys requested the money he had promised to give, but he knew they were scammers and was no longer cooperative.

He threatened them and promised to kill them all, saying he knew they were all from Nigeria.

They chose to insult him and his family instead of taking his threats seriously as he was speaking.

One of the guys even told him to calm down and send the gift card he had promised earlier when he was still oblivious to the scam.

The white kept insisting that he would kill them and even exclaimed in pidgin, “I go kill you”

Corps member shares video of where she got posted for her youth service year (WATCH)

A corps member took to her TikTok page to share a video of the place she was posted to as her place of primary assignment for her youth service year.

The video she shared had singer, Timaya’s popular song “God I beg” playing in the background, and was followed with the caption “see where NYSC post me for my PPA”.

The place where she was posted appears to be a school as some children were spotted welcoming her in the video.

A little while ago, a corps member had tongues wagging on social media after he recreated a photo his mother took with him during her NYSC decades ago.

The young man, identified as @ayo__kunle on Twitter, took to the microblogging platform to share a throwback photo his mother snapped with him when she was serving the country years ago.

In the photo taken shortly after his birth, his mother who was all smiles wore her NYSC khaki and placed the cap on his little head.

Now that he’s all grown and also participating in the one-year national scheme, the young graduate decided to recreate the throwback photo with his mother.

In the recent photo, Ayokunle who donned his NYSC uniform posed with his mother and also placed his cap on her head.
