Popular Kenyan media personality, Vera Sidika’s husband, Brown Mauzo, has publicly reacted to her transformation after removing her butt implants.
Vera Sidika previously had butt implants, which gave her a massively endowed body, but had to remove them due to medical complications she had suffered.
Taking to her Instagram page on Wednesday, the 33-year-old, who shared a new photo showing her look after the corrective surgery, encouraged women not to be pushed into altering their bodies because of peer pressure.
She claimed that the experience had taught her to love herself more and that she would never again allow peer pressure to push her into things that would ruin her future.
“I had to undergo surgery. It’s still very unbelievable, but I’ve come to terms with it and learnt to love myself regardless. Ladies, please learn to love yourself and don’t ever let peer pressure rush you into things that will ruin you in the future. ” She wrote in part.
Well, reacting to his wife’s transformation, Brown Mauzo, in a heartfelt message to his wife moments ago, admits that he misses her former killer figure, but he loves and treasures her personality regardless.
The father of two applauded his wife’s courage and noted that it would educate young girls to love their bodies.
“Dear wife, I know this hasn’t been easy at all. I’ve been with you through the entire process and all I can say is that you are very strong lady. I’m so happy U found peace & acceptance & finally had the courage to come out and educate young girls. Popular Nollywood actress, Chizy Alichi, has admitted that while receiving flowers is sweet and romantic, she would choose a cash gift over a flower bouquet.
This came after the thespian’s husband surprised her with a bouquet of flowers at work.
Chizzy, in a video she shared on social media recounting the romantic gesture from her spouse, said he had sent her the flowers at work.
She held the lovely arrangement of flowers and raved over her husband’s thoughtfulness. She thanked him, but quickly added that she would have preferred it if he had sent her money instead.

A woman has narrated how she recovered N50,000 which her ex-boyfriend was owing her before he left her to marry another woman.
The woman, who shared her story in a Facebook group, said her ex-lover refused to return the N50,000 she borrowed him while they were still dating. According to her, after he broke up with her last year, he blocked her and his family was uninterested in resolving the matter, so she came up with a plan to get her money back.
She said, fortunately for her, the lady whom the man married sells shoes and clothes online, so she was able to recover the money from her.
She said she pretended to be a customer and ordered goods worth N70,000, deposited N20,000 and insisted she wanted her goods to be delivered before she would pay the balance, and the wife agreed.
She said that when the items arrived, she refused to pay the N50,000 balance, but instead she told the woman that her husband was owing her and asked her to get the balance from him.

Photos and videos from the extravagant wedding ceremony of California-based Nigerian serial robber, Charles Chukwuma Onwuemelie, three months before he was arrested in connection with over 60 armed robberies in Los Angeles, have gone viral.
It was earlier reported that Charles, a 29-year-old resident of Quartz Hill was arrested on the 23rd of September for allegedly committing 68 robberies just 5 months after hosting a very extravagant wedding in the United state.
According to investigations, a total of 68 armed business robberies have been linked to the same suspect since October of 2021. It is reported that the Robberies took place throughout Los Angeles County and the City of Los Angeles.
During their investigation, detectives discovered that the suspect frequently covered the handgun used in the robberies at gas stations, 7-11s, and Walmart’s with a blue cloth.
The suspect would disguise himself by wearing various hats, a face mask, and rubber gloves, which made many give him the name, “Blue Cloth Bandit”. Read here.
Charles and his wife, Chinonyelum Stephanie Onwuasor, met at church in 2012 while Stephanie was volunteering as a teacher’s aide in a confirmation class.
It was gathered that Charles, who was in the confirmation stage of his Catholicism, confronted Stephanie about her rigorous grading after she failed his confirmation papers.

Residents of Satellite Town, Lagos state, have confronted a woman for allegedly maltreating her 17-year-old househelp.
A Twitter user with handle @judy_nwa disclosed that they became concerned about the minor when they saw a huge sore in her hand when she came to fetch water in their house. They also saw scars on her back.
Out of anger, she and other residents of the community stormed the woman’s house to accost her for allegedly treating the maid like a slave.
However, the woman remained indignant and claimed she didn’t mistreat the minor, adding that she’s confident that nothing would happen if she’s reported to the police.
The tweep shared a video showing when the woman, whose name was given as Aisha, was confronted by the neighbours and condemned her for abusing the minor.

The spokesperson of the Nigeria Police Force, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi has vowed to sanction the female orderly of former Vice President and PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar’s wife, Titi, for carrying her bag at a recent event.
This verdict comes after a lady took to Twitter to share a photo of the orderly and questioned why a uniformed officer will be carrying the bag of a civilian.

Reacting to the post, Adejobi expressed displeasure with the female orderly for agreeing to carry the bag, stating that it’s unacceptable.
He added that they will fish out the policewoman and sanction her accordingly.
“This is not acceptable. We have commenced necessary action on this. We will fish her out and get across to the principal. The AIG Special Protection Unit has been contacted to assist us get the woman police. Gradually, we will sanitise the system,” he responded.

Godwin Emefiele, governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), says financial technology (fintech) companies are disrupting the banking sector.
Emefiele said this on Tuesday at the International Association of Deposit Insurers (IADI) Africa Regional Committee (ARC) technical assistance workshop in Abuja, according to ThisDay.
The workshop themed ‘Normality in Turbulent Periods: The Stabilising Role of Deposit Insurance’ was organised by the IADI-ARC and hosted by the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC).
The event focused on the challenges of the financial sector regulators, including the CBN and the Nigeria Deposits Insurance Corporation (NDIC).
According to Emefiele, the rapid evolution of fintech companies has continued to alter the financial landscape globally.
He described the developments as “very disturbing”, adding that it has continued to disrupt traditional ways of offering financial services in the banking landscape.
Emefiele further said there is an urgent need for the banking industry regulators to guard their loins, “ensure that we can put in place strong regulatory framework and practices that should help nip in the bud, the unfortunate incident that may happen as we try to allow the growth of fintechs in Nigeria”.
The CBN governor, however, said interested fintechs can become banks by depositing N25 billion.
“Fintechs who want to be deposit-taking institutions should come forward and become a bank, bring N25 billion and be a bank,” he said.
Speaking further on the financial crisis, Emefiele said early detection of problems in banks, timely intervention, contingency planning, crisis preparedness and management were not a particular agency’s affair but required strong and effective collaboration among the major stakeholders within a nation’s financial services industry and the government.
“Our deposit insurance system (DIS), as a component of the financial safety-net arrangement, is the risk-minimiser model and has been very effective in the discharge of its mandate. The CBN and NDIC represent key components of Nigeria’s financial safety-net arrangement,” Emefiele added.
“That partly explains why we have been able to successfully resolve the series of financial crises that confronted us with satisfying results.
“It is instructive to mention that the CBN and NDIC have been able to deal with the emerging crisis in the nation’s banking system. The 2009 banking crisis, 2004 banking consolidation exercise and their subsequent resolutions, provided a reference point of the benefit for effective collaboration between the central bank and deposit insurer.”
Emefiele urged the IADI-ARC to increase its advocacy by reaching out to many countries in Africa to join the league of countries with DIS, adding that this would go a long way in strengthening the regional and continental financial systems for the benefit of all.
Big Brother Naija season 7 second runner-up, Bella Okagbue, has revealed that she didn’t mean it when she said she preferred her love interest, Sheggz, over the 100 million naira grand prize.

A Nigerian man, identified as Brunhild Owagbo, has taken to Twitter to raise alarm over his dog’s disturbing habit of eating its puppies after birth.
Owagbo shared a video of his dog devouring its newborn puppy on Wednesday, October 5, and disclosed that it’s not the first time the dog was eating its own puppy as the last time it gave birth to five puppies, it ate them all.
He said he has never fed his dog raw meat before but it has killed and eaten snakes on two different occasions.
Worried about the shocking habit, Owagbo went online to seek advice from netizens who might have an explanation for his dog’s rabid behavior.

Popular Kenyan Media Personality, Vera Sidika, has successfully undergone a surgery to correct her ‘booty’ one year after she claimed that it was natural.
In a Question and Answer session she had with her fans on Instagram in August 2021, the 31-year-old media personality revealed that her backside is real and she only altered her breast size, teeth and skin.
However, it seems she wasn’t entirely truthful about that as she recently went under the knife due to the BomBom palava.
According to Sidika, this has been the hardest phase in her life as the earlier sugery led to health risk and complications.

Famous Nigerian singer, Bella Shmurda aka Dangbana has dropped his two cents on the ongoing issue between Mohbad and Naira Marley today.

A 24-year-old final year student of the Michael Okpara University of Agriculture (MOUAU), Abia state, Oluomachi Nwoye, has given birth to a set of five babies at the Federal Medical Centre Umuahia.
The quintuplets, comprising two boys and three girls, who are said to be the first set of quintuplets to be delivered at the medical center, were born at 9:15 pm on Monday, October 3.
Vanguard reports that the two boys are receiving special attention at the “in-born unit” of the hospital.
Oluomachi’s mother, Mrs. Priscilla Nwojo, who noted that she is delighted by the gift of quintuplets to her daughter and believes such unique blessings often come with their own challenges, appealed to the government and well-meaning Nigerians to come to the aid of the family.

A Nigerian man has taken to the internet to share a video of himself making a dish of “concoction rice” and netizens have reacted to his cooking methods.

The military has announced the release of all the 23 remaining passengers abducted from the Kaduna-Abuja train on March 28, 2022.
Prof. Usman Yusuf, Secretary, Chief of Defense Staff Action Committee (CDSAC), in a statement on Wednesday said their release was secured at 4:00pm, today, October 5.
“I am pleased to announce to the nation and the world that at 1600Hrs. (4:00pm) today, Wednesday 5-10-2022, the seven-man Presidential Committee assembled by the Chief of Defense Staff (CDS), General L E O Irabor, secured the release and took custody of all the 23 remaining passengers held hostage by Boko Haram Terrorists following the attack on the Abuja to Kaduna train on 28-3-2022.
“The nation owes a debt of gratitude to the Nigerian Military under the leadership of the CDS who conceived and guided the operation from start to finish. All sister Security Agencies and the Federal Ministry of Transportation contributed immensely to this Operation. The unwavering support of the President and Commander in Chief of the Nigerian Armed Forces, President Muhammadu Buhari GCFR is what made it all possible.
“Members of this Committee are grateful for the rare honour and privilege to be part of this Humanitarian Operation.” The statement read.
It would be recalled that the bandits attacked the train on March 28, 2022, after bombing the rail tracks. They killed nine people in the attack, many were wounded and over 62 passengers were abducted and taken to their base.
Reality TV star and winner of Big Brother NAIJA LEVEL UP, Phyna has berated her former friend and colleague, Amaka, for not congratulating her in person after she emerged winner of the seventh edition of Big Brother Naija.
It would be recalled that Phyna and Amaka were bestfriends in the house however their friendship went sour after they both developed interest in the same man, Groovy, who subsequently choose the former.
This didn’t sit well with Amaka and she felt betrayed because she was the first person to indicate interest in Groovy, and even told Phyna about her feelings.

Apparently, Amaka did not congratulate Phyna in person after she was announced winner of the show at the grand finale on Sunday.
Reacting to Amaka’s demeanor, the Edo-born housemate in a recent interview slammed her for not setting the bad blood aside to congratulate her.
Phyna said she noticed that Amaka was angry with her when they saw each other for the first time on Sunday, but she expected her to still hug and congratulate her.
Speaking further, Phyna said she doesn’t have an issue with Amaka, but if she (Amaka) is bearing a grudge against her, she should confront her directly so they can address it.

Popular Nigerian singer, Teniola Apata better known as Teni, has put a big smile on the face of her secondary school teacher after she surprised him with a brand new car.
In commemoration of World Teacher’s Day celebration today, October 5, the ‘Billionaire’ crooner stormed her alma mater to gift her old teacher a new whip.
A video making rounds online shows the moment Teni was hosted by the management of the school in the school hall where all the students were also present.
During the course of the welcome, the 29-year-old singer announced that she had a special gift – a Lexus car – for her teacher.
Upon hearing the surprise gift, all the students and staff went agog with excitement while the said teacher was overwhelmed with emotions.
The singer then led him outside the hall where the car was sitting pretty waiting for its new owner.

A while back, Teni promised to take a loyal fan on an all-expense paid trip to Dubai.

Popular Nigerian singer, Augustine Miles Kelechi better known as Tekno, has decided to abstain from smoking weed for thirty days and promised to give daily feedback on his progress.
The 29-year-old singer made this known in a video shared on his Instagram story today, October 5, as he relayed how he fared after staying off weed for 24 hours.
According to Tekno, the first 24 hours was not easy for him as he could barely sleep but he is glad that he succeeded in his plan not to smoke.
Speaking further in the accountability video, Tekno said he would try not to smoke for the next 30 days and if he succeeds, he would then decide if he wants to quit smoking completely or continue.

Nigeria’s first lady, Aisha Buhari has disclosed that her husband, President Muhammadu Buhari, suffered Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) for many years.
She reportedly said this at the ground-breaking ceremony for the Armed Forces Post Traumatic Stress Disorder Centre (AFPTSDC) initiated by the Mrs Lucky Irabor-led Defence and Police Officers’ Wives Association (DEPOWA).
Aisha said her husband battled with PTSD for years after fighting in the Civil War, being overthrown as military head of state and subsequent detention for 40 months without rehabilitation.
She said she became his physiotherapist and nursed him to recovery after she got married to him at the young age of 19 though it was a struggle.
She was quoted as saying;
“I want to thank DEPOWA for this foresighted vision of establishing a Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) Centre for our soldiers. Indeed, PTSD is a mental health condition triggered by terrifying events.
“It is a reality that soldiers and military families have to live with, despite its negative consequences. Being a soldier’s wife or a retired soldier’s wife and a wellness expert, I understand the challenges associated with PTSD and its impact on military families and the nation.
“My husband served the Nigerian Army for 27 years before he was overthrown in a coup d’état. He fought civil war for 30 months without rehabilitation; he ruled Nigeria for 20 months and was detained for 40 months without disclosing the nature of his offence.
“One year after he came out from detention, we were married, I clocked 19 years in his house as his wife, legitimately. I suffered the consequences of PTSD, because having gone through all these, and at the age of 19, to handle somebody, who was a former Head of State and Commander-in-Chief of Nigeria’s Armed Forces, to tell him that he is wrong is the first mistake you will make.
“So, at the age of 19, I had to figure out how to tell somebody of his calibre that he was wrong or right and that was the beginning of my offence in his house, and contesting elections in 2003 and failed, 2007, failed and 2011, the same thing – all without rehabilitation – I became a physiotherapist.
“Finally, the whole nation rose against the misuse of power and bad governance. He only succeeded when it became a movement and here we are today. He ruled Nigeria before and he is ruling Nigeria now and this is the last time and final.
“Failing election for three times was a big blow to every contestant but those that have contested for just yesterday, a simple primary election, they are still living in a traumatic condition, I tried to console them, I tried to talk to them, some of them have switched off their phones up till today, just because of a primary election.
“You can imagine myself at 19 years, handling somebody that went to war, suffered coup d’état, then lost several elections, and, finally, getting to the Villa in the 2015. Also, for a woman to tell them that this is wrong or right in Nigeria and Africa is a problem.”
A Nigerian man on Tuesday night raised alarm after he was almost detained at the Ifo Police Station for reporting his father who allegedly assaulted his mother.
The forensic biologist, identified as Oladimeji (@laditwits) on Twitter, said his mother has been a victim of domestic violence for 32 years and he reported him to Ogun welfare who in turn invited his father for questioning but he did not honour the invitation.
He and his brother then went to a police station in Ifo local government area of Ogun state to report his father but the DPO turned against them and ordered that they should be taken into custody.
Oladimeji, who was scared for his life, took to Twitter to seek help and pleaded with Nigerians to come to their aid.
Tweeting from the police station, he wrote,
“We are at the station to report domestic violence against my mother and the DpO of the Ifo police station has asked them to detain us. My brother and I.
My mom has been a victim of domestic violence for 32 years of marriage
We took the case to ogun state welfare and they invited him to talk, he refused to go
He beat my mom best me.
Please help, I’m about to be detained with my brother.

Marlian boss, Naira Marley, has reacted after his signee, Mohbad, accused him (Naira Marley) and his crew of assaulting him after he requested to change his manager.
The “feel good” crooner took to his social media pages on Wednesday, October 5, to share a video showing him bruised and injured while revealing that he suffered the bruises after he was injured by his record label (Marlian Music) people.
In the clip, Mohbad reiterated that Naira Marley and the entire Marlian crew should be held responsible if anything happens to him.
“If I die, the whole of marlians music individuals(naira Marley and his boiz)should be held responsible. Look how my brothers and I were treated without even engaging in any physical fight with any of the marlian music people. I was dragged naked on the road and naira Marley did nothing about it, I lost some of my valuables.” He wrote in part.
Reacting to the allegations, Naira Marley, who went live on Instagram to share his side of the story, linked Mohbad’s outburst to being under the influence of a substance.
According to the Marlian boss, Mohbad is not in his right senses and has a history of getting intoxicated, which affects his emotions and actions.
He vowed that he would not let anything happen to Mohbad and that any issue they may have would be resolved amicably within the record label.
“Mohbad has a history of getting intoxicated which affects his emotions and actions. #ImNotPerfect. However, all issues would be resolved amicably within the record label.” He wrote on Twitter.

A young South African woman, Palesa Ya Seponon, has been left with a disfigured face after the father of her child attacked her with a broken bottle.
The mother of one took to her Facebook page on Monday, October 3, to share what she went through in the hands of her abusive baby daddy.
According to her, she did not want to expose him for the monster he is but she had to because she is scarred for life.
In the photos she shared, Palesa had deep cuts on different parts of her face and had to get stitches.
She wrote,
“He decided to do this on my face, I didn’t want to talk about it, but I just can’t. This is the way I look now.
Though details of the incident are sketchy at the time of filing this report, one Facebook user, Omahau Light, identified the suspect as Thabo Lietsoso Sempe.
