A supposed fan of controversial singer, Portable who tried to hail him down in a bid to get money from him but in the process, broke his car window was grateful that the singer chose to address the issue calmly.
Portable shared a video on his page showing the moment the said fan came begging after seeing the broken car window and explaining that it wasn’t his fault the glass got broken.
The singer then asks him whether his action was okay before asking him if he was a fan of his and when the pleading man responded that he is a fan, the singer then said it’s only because of that that he would forgive him.
He then goes on to tell him that even if he wants to get the attention of a celebrity, he doesn’t have to get violent to do so. He then tells the pleading man that though his broken glass pains him, he’ll still however give him some money.
He then hands over money to the man and asked him to quickly move away from him before he changes his mind.
Internet celebrity, Ismaila Mustapha, popularly known as Mompha, has reacted after he was declared wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Recall that the anti-graft agency, in a statement on Wednesday, August 3, declared the billionaire businessman wanted for alleged money laundering and called on members of the public with useful information on his whereabouts to contact the nearest police station.
The EFCC claimed that Mompha failed to appear in court for his money laundering trial.
Reacting, in a post titled “MOMPHA WANTED BY THE EFCC ‘-THE TRUE STORY”, Mompha explained that after his arrest and arraignment on the first case at the federal high court in Lagos, in 2021, the court ordered the EFCC to release his wrist watches and other valuables in their custody. However, the EFCC, in dissatisfaction with the judgment of the court on the release of his wristwatches, came up with another trumped up charges against him.
Mompha accused the EFCC of being corrupt. He added that the agency is a “charade” and he has come to the conclusion that he can’t get justice “within this corrupt-laden system”.
He insisted he had not committed any crime and had only paid money to his co-defendant, Nappy in the normal course of his Bureau de Change business.

“MOMPHA WANTED BY THE EFCC’ – THE TRUTH STORY
After my arrest and arraignment on the first case at the federal high court Lagos, on the 10th of December 2021, the court gave me judgment and ordered EFCC to release my wrist watches and other valuables in their custody to me for been unlawfully seized. Being a bitter agency, the EFCC in dissatisfaction with the judgment of the court on the release of my wristwatches came up with another trumped up charges against me. On the 10th of January 2022 while I was at there office at Okotie Eboh to retrieve my wristwatches in compliance with the judgment of the court and immediately after collecting my wristwatches, they held me down at their office and charged me to court the following day on the frivolous charges. I was arraigned before a familiar Judge to the EFCC and in effect I was given a very difficult bail to meet as a result of which I ended up spending over two months in prison custody while making efforts to meet the difficult bail. After several attempts to meet the bail conditions failed, I successfully applied for the bail conditions to be reduced which eventually led to my release.
Upon my release I traveled outside Nigeria to check on the welfare and wellbeing of my family and returned to Nigeria shortly only for the EFCC Corrupt lawyer, Rotimi Oyedepo rather than focus on the establishing his criminal case against me along with the EFCC operative Kaina Garba, chose to capitalize on the fact that I travelled to blackmail me into entering plea bargain with EFCC else he would inform the Judge I travelled and ensure my bail is revoked therefore making me have no choice than to dance to his tune. I initially refused but after so much blackmail and intimidation by Rotimi Oyedepo, I succumbed and was told to pay N142 million naira to EFCC as compensation and also sign for a one year imprisonment sentence which I was uncomfortable with and they thereafter reduced it to N40 million naira and one year imprisonment.
When it became obvious to EFCC that I wasn’t going to sign the plea bargain and play to their game, they informed the Judge I travelled and the Judge without any concrete evidence and disregard.”

A businesswoman identified as Asiata Oladejo told a Mapo Grade A Customary Court, in Ibadan, Oyo state to dissolve her marriage on the grounds that her estranged husband, Abidemi, was unreliable and abandoned her and their children during a robbery attack.
Oladejo submitted her counter argument in the divorce suit filed by her husband.
”My Lord, I am yet to recover from the shock I experienced when a gang of thieves raided our house. He hid in the toilet, leaving me to pant in front of the armed robbers, who terrorized the entire residents of the house.
My lord, when the thieves arrived at around 1am. on that night, my husband was nowhere to be found to defend the children and I.
Unknown to me, he hid in the toilet. He only came out when they had gone. My husband wanted us to continue living in that house,” she said.
Abidemi in his defense said that his wife was ill-tempered.
”She comes to my shop unannounced to torment me. It is true that I hid in the toilet when armed robbers attacked our house. All the attempts made to bring her back home failed, because she said she was unnecessarily scared,” he said
He prayed the court to grant him custody of the three children because he had been a responsible father.
Delivering judgment, the President of the Court, Mrs S. M. Akintayo, granted the order restraining Oladejo from threatening, harassing and interfering in the private life of Abidemi.
Akintayo granted custody of the three children to Oladejo, adding that she was in the best position to cater for them.
“Both petitioner and respondent shall be responsible for the education and other welfare of the children. In addition, Abidemi shall pay a monthly feeding allowance of N20,000 for the children’s upkeep. Both of you must maintain peace and order,” Akintayo held.
She, however, noted that there was no marriage to dissolve between the couple, because their union could not be considered as a marriage. She stated that their marriage was not in accordance with laid down customary laws of Nigeria.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has declared popular Instagram celebrity and socialite, Ismaila Mustapha, better known as Mompha, wanted.
The anti-graft agency, in a statement on Wednesday, August 3, called on members of the public with useful information on his whereabouts to speak up.
“Ismaila, 38, hails from Ogbomosho Local Govt Area of Oyo State. His last known address: 2 Fagbenro Street, Idi-Araba, Surulere, Lagos State. Wanted by the EFCC: Ismaila Mustapha. Anyone with useful information about his whereabouts should contact the EFCC or the nearest police station”, the statement read in part.
The EFCC arraigned the billionaire businessman before Justice Mojisola Dada of the Special Offences Court, sitting in Ikeja, Lagos in January 2022.
Mompha was arrested by Operatives of the EFCC, Lagos state command, on Monday, January 10, for allegedly laundering funds obtained through unlawful activities and retention of alleged proceeds of crime, and arraigned in court on Thursday morning, January 12.
According to EFCC, Mompha is currently standing trial alongside his company, Ismalob Global Investment Limited, on an amended 22-count charge bordering on cyber fraud and money laundering to the tune of N32.9 billion.
Meanwhile, in August 2020 Mompha sued EFCC for N5million over his arrest.
He asked the Federal High Court in Lagos to compel the anti-graft agency to pay him N5m for what he termed his “unlawful re-arrest and detention.”

According to a statement released by the Actors Guild of Nigeria on its official Instagram page on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, the movie stars were released unhurt and in healthy conditions.
The statement reads;
“This is to gladly inform the public that the kidnapped actors Cynthia Okereke and Clemson Cornel Agbogidi have been released unhurt. The elated National President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Ejezie Emeka Rollas announced their release by the abductors who were touched by the spirit of God to set them free and unharmed.
The Guild has arranged for medical checks and psychological support for the victims. On behalf of their families, the National President expressed our heartfelt appreciation to Nollywood industry and Nigerians at large for the support and prayers during the trying period.”
“He urged members to be security conscious on and off film sets and always take precautionary measures on their personal security at all times.
“While talking to the abductors, we were trying to explain to them that we were putting some funds together, we were contributing. We said that we have about N1.2 million. And they started laughing at us.

A Ghanaian clergywoman has been captured on video praying for divine intervention as a government task force demolishes her church for reportedly operating without a permit.
The woman in the viral video has been identified as the pastor of Apostolic Movers and Shakers Chapel.
The church building was demolished by a combined team of police and Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) task force on Monday, August 1, 2022, after it had been marked for demolition following an earlier warning by AMA to the church that they should vacate the premises.
In the viral video, the woman is heard fervently pleading with God to intervene, saying that anyone involved in the demolition will pay with their lives.

Nigerian Journalist, Sam Omatseye has claimed that supporters of Labour Party presidential flagbearer, Peter Obi, are threatening his life.
He took to Twitter to make this allegation hours after he published an article about the presidential candidate on The Nation newspaper titled “Obi-tuary”.
The title didn’t sit well with some supporters of the presidential aspirant and they lampooned him over the article.
Some even went as far as sharing an obituary announcing his death and posted it on social media.
A Twitter user with handle @akanyvic wrote,

Yunusa became an internet sensation after he shared videos of himself sipping a bottle of cold zobo and snapshots from the video became a viral meme on Twitter used to troll people when they post an obvious lie online.
The content creator has since started making money from his new found venture – skit making – and recently bought himself a brand new Mercedes Benz.
He has now taken to his Instagram page to share a video of himself chilling beside a pool at a hotel and expressed excitement to be in ‘Dubai’.
He also said his ‘village people’ said he would not progress in life or travel out of Nigeria but there he is, having the time of his life because he is a fortunate child.
He also thanked his friends, family and fans for their love and support.
”Hello everybody, as you can see, all of my village people, they have talk it that I cannot come to Dubai for my life.” he said in the clip.
However, it was all clout, Yunusa was actually at the Eko Pearl Towers in Eko Atlantic Laos.
A video of a young lady mocking her admirer after she discovers he’s a phone repairer has gone viral and stirred reactions from netizens.
The lady in the video narrated how she met the young man at a club the night prior and was shocked to discover he repairs phones for people at the market where she had gone shopping.
According to her, the young man approached her at the club and they exchanged phone numbers. She claimed the man presented himself as a big boy at the club as he showered her with wads of cash.
However, it was to her utmost shock to see him by his stall repairing phones at the market the next day.
Narrating the encounter, she wrote,
“Omg I saw the guy that toasted me in the club yesterday repairing phone in the market. He even sprayed me money forming big boy and collected my number. See him repairing phone”.

Former Ultimate love housemate, Tony Ebiteinye Juliet, has taken to social media to advise people to place character over spirituality when choosing a partner.
Ebi in a series of posts shared on her Instastory, told single folks to choose a partner that is kind to them even when angry and would never intentionally hurt them.
According to her, it’s normal for couples to fight but a good partner would never haul insults and curses at their significant other out of anger.

A young Nigerian man has been left in a state of ecstasy and pure joy after he successfully relocated from Nigeria to Canada.
A video shared online shows the moment the yet-to-identified man expressed his joy and excitement to finally relocate from Nigeria as he laid on the bare floor in Canada.
The excited man who wore a blue jean and white shirt, didn’t mind that his white shirt could get stained but sat on the floor and thanked God for finally escaping from slavery and the hands of President Muhammadu Buhari.
He also kept saying he has finally ‘arrived’ depicting that he has achieved his lifelong goal to travel out of Nigeria.
