This attack on Toyin Aimakhus’ estranged husband Adeniyi Johnson is becoming incessant.
The Nollywood actor has been on the receiving sides of hoodlums. Under six months this will be the third time he will be attacked but this time around it is by enraged Hausa men.
Johnson who was on his way to the Redemption camp for the monthly Holy Ghost service from Ibadan on Friday, March 4 shared the news of his recent attack on his Instagram timeline.
He wrote that some Hausa guys attacked his car and other oncoming vehicles around Ogere axis of the Lagos-Ibadan expressway.
He was able to drive to safety but not with his car intact as the wind screen of his car was broken. Read his story below:

President Muhammadu Buhari had on 11th November, 2015 assigned portfolios to 36 ministers who are expected to implement his ‘change’ agenda.
Presiding at the swearing in ceremony of the new ministers, Buhari said that the assigning of portfolios was done to put square pegs in square holes, adding that members of his team were carefully chosen and assigned portfolios to reflect their capacities.
More than 3 months after the ministers were assigned portfolios, some have refused to come out of their shell.
Top sources within some ministries have posited that most of Buhari’s ministers are technically unfit for some of the ministries they were posted to, and have continued to make blunders and have become stumbling blocks to the administrations ‘change’ agenda.
Post-Nigeria gathered that President Buhari is said to be under intense pressure from some ‘powerful’ forces, including his party, the All Progressives Congress, APC, to “undertake a cleansing of the Federal Executive Council, FEC.”
As part of the impending restructuring, the following ministers have been seen to be doing nothing and many have recommended for their immediate disengagement before they lead the Buhari administration astray.
1. Geoffrey Onyeama – Minister of foreign affairs
Many had hoped that he would wield in his international expertise into Buhari’s agenda, however, more than 3 months after his appointment as the minister of foreign affairs, Nigeria as the giant of Africa still does not have a focused foreign policy agenda.
The failure to manage Buhari’s public and international perception has been traced to the lack of a foreign policy agenda.
If a nation’s foreign policy is understood as the expression of its national interests vis-à-vis other countries, it follows that foreign policy decisions need to be made and expressed and should not be left only with the so called Buhari’s ‘body language’.
2. Aisha Alhassan – Minister of women affairs
“Mama Taraba” was reported to have told the grieving chibok parents that they were not invited, during their visit to the villa. She was also reported to have told them that, the girls were not kidnapped under the current government, “so why are you harassing us?” As if the diatribe was not enough, Minister Alhassan reminded them: “You wanted schools, you wanted hospitals, you wanted this and that… you wanted so many things.”
As a minister of women affairs, many had expected that she would have been at the fore front of the chibok agenda. She has no doubt failed to carry the women folks along. Hence, there is an urgent need to find a suitable replacement.
3. Kayode Fayemi – Minister of solid minerals
The former governor of Ekiti state shocked many when he was assigned his portfolio as he was reported to have said that he would need time to learn in his ministry. An admission that nothing much should be expected from him as he did not envisage he would be posted to the ministry of solid minerals.
More than 3 months after he was assigned the portfolio, the former governor is yet to convince Nigerians that he is the right man for the job.
4. Lai Mohammed – Minister of Information and culture
He is a specialist in image laundering; he has refused to move on from the days of political campaigns. His public statements have done nothing, but dent the public image of the Buhari administration. He speaks on every issue, even though he does not have the right information, he would always speak.
He has continued to blame the previous government for the failures of the Buhari administration. He once said the 2016 budget was not padded, whereas the President admitted that his budget was padded. Many believe the former spokesperson of the APC would be more productive if he returns as the spokesperson of his party.
The current state of the economy is enough for the minister of finance to resign her position. The confusion within the economy especially on policy statements has been attributed to her inability to steer the ship of the Nigerian economy.
More than 3 months after she was handed the portfolio as the minister of finance, many Nigerians have become worst of, as poverty and hardship are now the order of the day.
5. Adebayo Shittu – Minister of Communications
The controversy surrounding the MTN fine has exposed the lack of managerial qualities of the Minister of Communications.
The hullabaloo trailing the role of the Ministry in the out-of-court settlement by MTN Nigeria, and its payment of N50 billion to the Federal Government still remains unaddressed. It is worthy to note that the telecommunications regulatory organ, the Nigeria Communications Commission, NCC, has been shielded away from the settlement process.
What other reason do we need to convince us that the minister of communications seems to be finding it difficult with his current portfolio.
6. Muhammadu Buhari – Minister of Petroleum Resources
He has been tagged the junketer-in-chief for his frequent foreign trips, which are still yet to yield benefits to many Nigerians. Many have forgotten that he is the current minister of petroleum resources and hence should be held responsible for the frequent fuel scarcity in the country.
The best decision Buhari must make is for him to relinquish his position as a minister, because his effect has not been felt, more than three months after.
7. Kemi Adeosun – Minister of finance

American business mogul and front-line aspirant for the Republican party presidential ticket, Donald Trump early Friday(CAT) stunned the world with reassurances about the size of his member in response to thinly veiled attacks by opponent, Senator Marco Rubio.
Trump reassured the nation that the size of his alleged penis is adequate in response to provocative remarks made by Rubio earlier in the week.
“He hit my hands. Nobody has ever hit my hands, I’ve never heard of this one. Look at those hands. Are they small hands?
“And, he referred to my hands — if they’re small, something else must be small. I guarantee you there’s no problem. I guarantee,” Trump said.
According to The Verge, Trump is only following the footsteps of some former American presidents who openly talked about their body parts. A story about former President Lyndon Johnson as told by The New York Review of Books in 2002 is shown to buttress the point:
“He early became fabled for a Rabelaisian earthiness, urinating in the parking lot of the House Office Building as the urge took him; if a colleague came into a Capitol bathroom as he was finishing at the urinal there, he would sometimes swing around still holding his member, which he liked to call “Jumbo,” hooting once, “Have you ever seen anything as big as this?,” and shaking it in almost a brandishing manner as he began discoursing about some pending legislation.”

Following the reports of the rescuing of Esu Oruru and Patience Paul, the parents of yet another girl Ifeoma, now Aisha, are crying out.
Ifeoma is the daughter of Mr. Ndubuisi Nichodemus. She was living with her parents, in the midst of the Hausa community in Zaria, Kaduna State, until May, 2014.
According to a report by the Saturday Sun, on that fateful evening, Ifeoma had left the house in protest against the authority of her mother to question her for returning late to the house on the day.
She simply walked out of her parents’ compound into a neighbour’s house, and since 21 months ago to be precise, the family is yet to set their eyes on her.
Ifeoma, now 16, Saturday Sun learnt, might have been converted to Islam, even as her mother disclosed that she gathered reliably that her daughter had been married off. This was the story, told to our reporter in November last year.
Since then, nothing happened. But by last week Wednesday, apparently following the public outcry over the abduction of Bayelsa-born Ese, Mr. Nichodemus was sighted at the Police Command headquarters, in Kaduna.
However, neither the Police nor Mr. Nichodemus, was forthcoming on what transpired last Wednesday.
The only thing he told Saturday Sun when pressed further was that
“the situation remains the same. Nothing has changed, as my daughter is not back. The Sharia Court handling the matter keeps adjourning the case and as a result, we are still where we were last year”
Speaking during an interview then, Ndubuisi Nichodemus, resident of Sabon-Gari, Zaria, Kaduna State, who appealed to the authorities concerned, to help rescue his daughter, allegedly in the custody of another man since 2014, said her daughter had come home late on that fateful day and felt, as responsible parents, she should be scolded. They did, and the girl ran into a neighbour’s house.
Thereafter, he said the girl claimed she had renounced Christianity for Islam as her preferred religion, which made one of the neighbours simply identified as Abdullahi to take the girl to one Alhaji Shehu Khalil, who train new converts into Islam.
This is even as Ifeoma’s biological mother disclosed that she heard reliably that her daughter has been given out in marriage without her knowledge and consent.
According to Nudubuisi:
“it all started in May (2014) when she came home late and her mother talked to her. She then left the compound to our neighbour’s place. We lived in the midst of Hausa who are majorly Muslims.
So, we learnt that Abdullahi has taken her to Mallam, Khalil who work with Ahmadu Bello University, at Energy Research here in Samaru. The next thing we heard was the conversion of our daughter to Islam.
“So after we approached him for the release of our daughter, he told us she had traveled to Sokoto. When we reported the case to the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in Zaria, and they wrote to Commissioner of Police Kaduna State, Directorate of State Security (DSS) for assistance, the Police Commissioner, Shehu Umar, sent some of his men to Zaria, that the girl should be handed over to her biological parents.
“But on getting to Zaria, the man has gone to Sharia Court in Zaria to collect a court order, granting him the custody of the girl. This was granted without consulting her biological father.
“So, we were told that our daughter had been moved from Zaria to one school called Da-rul Islam in Kaduna where new converts are usually taken to. This attitude is capable of igniting religion crisis in the State. We have been in Zaria for more than three decades without having any issue with anybody.
“Now when we approached the school in Kaduna alongside the CAN representative, the school told us to go and get a written clarification to that effect because there was a written order from court before she was admitted. The school later appealed to us to come and take our girl because she was given them problem. But we need court order to do that.
“Even with the intervention of the Commissioner of Police that the girl should be released to us, the court refused to release her and instead transferred the case to upper Sharia court in Zaria.
“In fact, for more than a year now, we have not set our eyes on our own daughter when we are still alive. We are against this impunity that our child will be in custody of another man when we the parents are alive.
“The whole episode had even forced us out of the former house where it all started. We are hereby calling on concerned authorities including the State government to come to our rescue.
They have aborted her schooling. She has also been kept incommunicado as we are no longer hearing from her. She remains a Christian and not a Muslim as they claim. She is just a 15-year-old girl and that makes her a minor in this case. I want my daughter back so she can continue with her education.”
But Ifeoma’s mother, Angnes Nichodemus’ view was completely different form her husband’s. She alleged that her daughter was said to have been married out to a Hausa Muslim without the consent of her parents.
According to her,
“I was told that one Hausa boy has been given my daughter, a minor, as wife without our input as parents. I was made to realise that the boy is working inside ABU here in Zaria, though I don’t know whether as a staff of the school or not. This is rather modern oppression and slavery.
“We have been doing everything we could legally. But from the way it has been, it shows we are not one Nigeria. You can imagine how you will feel as a mother when your child is missing. But my daughter’s case is different because for more than a year now she is being in custody of another man. No contact, no phone call. This is rather unfortunate.”
When contacted through his mobile telephone, the man at the centre of the allegation, Alhaji Shehu Khalil, was not ready to give much details on the issues raised.
Instead, he just said
“How did you manage to get my number? Who said he has his daughter in my custody? Well, I don’t know anything. You can come to Zaria I don’t know anything because I cannot talk to you on phone.”
Investigators met with him Friday night, Patience was seen with his other children and family members. He claimed he adopted the girl because he didn’t want to let her be with the hisbah.
He, however, allowed her to be attending both Islamic and government junior secondary school for her education.
A police source told TheCable that when interviewed, Patience claimed she was afraid of returning home because of possible reprisal from her siblings.
The alarm Paul Isaac Adaji, father of the teenager, had raised the alarm about her daughter’s disappearance, but it did not gain traction until the case of Oruru started playing out. Adaji, an Idoma from Benue state, said his daughter was forcefully abducted by hisbah in Gidan Kukah, Runjin Sambo area Sokoto, on August 12, 2015.
Tambuwal, in a statement issued by his spokesman, Imam Imam, directed that the matter be investigated. The inspector general of police then took up the matter.
Yeah, you can say she’s his super-duper die hard fan! Rocking his clothing line and his lyrics, she’s definitely gotta win the No 1 fan award from Kanye.
Mother of two, Kim Kardashian, stepped out in her husband’s entire Yeezy 3 outfit. Sharing the photos, she quoted his lyrics.
Recall that the rap star was condemned for calling Taylor Swift a bitch but he claimed the word is a form of endearment in hiphop.
Many didn’t give in to his explanation. However, Kim has been using the word of recent.
Stunning reality TV star, Khloe Kardashian has revealed she’s all in for cosmetic surgery but says it shouldn’t be done because of a man.
Speaking to Cosmopolitan.com.
She says:
“There’s this misconception that I’m not into plastic surgery, but I’m into it and I don’t care if you have it,”
“I think plastic surgery should be viewed almost like makeup, because we’re all putting on a fucking mask basically every day anyway,”When you dye your hair, you’re changing who you are, and I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that.
I think people should get plastic surgery or fillers or lasers or whatever if they want it — that should be your own personal decision.
I just don’t like when someone else is like, ‘Man, I only want to date a girl if they have big tits,’ and then a girl’s like, ‘I gotta get double-Ds.’ If you want them, great. If you’re doing that for your man, that’s when it bothers me.”
“I just have a lot of friends that just go to get liposuction when not once have they tried to go to the gym or tried to change their diet, so they’re literally eating a box of pizza the day before, and then going to get lipo,”
She told Cosmopolitan.com.
“That I disagree with. But if you’re working out, and you have a trouble area, and it’s still bothering you, then go fix it if you want.
I think that’s where people misconstrue when I say I’m not into plastic surgery. I definitely am a fan of plastic surgery, I just think you need to go through the proper channels first.”
Big Brother Africa Alumni, Karen Igho, who gave birth to a new baby few months ago shared this lovely photo of herself as she backs her baby the way an African woman would.
While she’s still hiding the face of her child, fans came for her photo lashing out at her for doing so and unlike the outspoken, controversial Karen we know, she didn’t respond to the hater.
Bobbi Kristina Brown‘s boyfriend, Nick Gordon, who was a prime suspect in her death conspiracy, was all smiles as the horrific details of her death were detailed when her autopsy was published.
The official document showed how she had alcohol and four different drugs in her system when she was found face-down in the bath of her suburban Atlanta home.
It detailed scars on her head and body, missing teeth, and the ravages and indignities she suffered during the seven months she spent in a coma before finally succumbing to the effects of the time she spent in the water.
It said the manner of how she came to drown – and therefore whether anyone was involved – could not be determined.
Her devastated father Bobby Brown said he wanted to see ‘justice’ for his daughter.
But today Gordon grinned as he told Daily Mail Online: ‘I’m glad that s*** is all over
Gordon, 20, has been under suspicion of being involved with Bobbi Kristina’s death ever since she was found face down in a bathtub in January 2015.
Bobbi Kristina’s family filed a $10m wrongful death lawsuit against Gordon claiming he had injected her with drug and blamed him for her death.
Zimbabwe’s President Robert Mugabe, who is known to be Africa’s oldest leader, has dispelled rumours his wife will automatically inherit the role of president, warning to feuding members of his ZANU-PF party that he is still in charge after 36 years in power.
The 92 year old made his stance known in a two-hour interview with state broadcaster ZBC TV late on Thursday. He said:
“Why successor? I am still there. Why do you want a successor? I did not say I was a candidate to retire. Leaders were elected not appointed,” he said.
“In a democratic party, you don’t want leaders appointed that way to lead the party. They have to be appointed properly by the people, at a gathering of the people, at a congress.”Others say the president wants to leave the throne for his wife. Where have you ever seen that, even in our own culture, where a wife inherits from her husband?”
Father of Yunusa Dahiru, Dahiru Bala, who allegedly abducted 14 year old Ese Oruru had a chat with Saturday Vanguard. He said in Hausa:
“I’m Dahiru Bala, a farmer and biological father of Yunusa. He went further: “My son is 25, and I found it extremely necessary to stand by him at this moment of his travails despite his failure to accept my advice initially.”
Describing a graphic detail of what he knew about the abduction saga, the 55-year-old man said:
“Yunusa was a house help to Oruru’s family for 10 years and when he told me of his love relationship with Ese, I opposed him because we already had a bride for him in the village. When he called to say that he was on his way home with his love I informed him of the bride we had found for him.”
Bala stated that his reasons also were against the backdrop that
“the love relationship between my son and Ese was built on ignorance of their religious backgrounds which make it difficult for anyone around here to support their marriage proposal. Here, I’m talking of embedded contraption that are highly offensive to my religion.
The 55-year-old farmer revealed that “there was no marriage between my son and Ese Oruru due to the contradiction and illegality involved.”
Bala disclosed that when his son told him of his plan to elope with Ese, he warned him of the consequences, but when it became overwhelmingly clear that Yunusa would not heed his wise counsel, the traditional authorities were fully briefed about an impending illegality.
“I promptly reported the matter to the Village Head and on their arrival, they were taken to his home and he, in turn, reported to the District Head at Kura, headquarters of Kura Local Government Area. Bala disclosed that “sequel to the request of Ese, she was converted to Islam before she was taken to the Emir’s palace, on the order of the District Head, for the Emir’s final say.”
The peasant farmer said that:
“on arrival at the Emir’s palace, a senior counsellor who took the brief, summoned the Sharia Commission to take custody of Ese till the following day when the Emir would be available.”
Shedding more light on the Yunusa/Ese love saga, Bala disclosed that the Emir who subsequently met with them, ordered that the Sharia Commission should liaise with the Assistant Inspector General of Police, Zone 1, to return her home with immediate effect. According to Yunusa’s father,
“the much anticipated return of Ese to Bayelsa was truncated by her when she broke down in the AIG office and raised safety questions to her life back home. Subsequently, the move was halted to pave for investigation.”
Bala who was pleased to divulge what he knew about the love saga said that “the last we heard of Ese was that she was in the custody of the Sharia Commission and kept in the home of the District Head at Kura.”
The old man threw in the bombshell in his final submission when he sought to know the fuss about the Yunusa/Ese love tango. Rhetorically, he bemoaned:
“Is it because I’m not Dangote that’s why the interest is high?” He never defended bringing Ese to Kano to marry him but would not accept that Ese was abducted because from all indications from his son there was a plan to bring the girl to Kano and Yinusa duly informed him that they were on their way home.
Did Yunusa actually abduct Ese and forcefully take her to Kano, or she conspired with him to elope with the desire to get married to him out of genuine love for him?
In a purported recorded interview which went viral on the net early in the week, and also enjoyed media publicity, Ese revealed that nobody abducted her, insisting she followed Yunusa to Kano on her own.
Giving her name as Aisha, the Muslim name she was given on her “conversion”,
“I am 17 years old”, she said, unlike the 14 her family claim, and she insisted she was in Kano to be a Muslim. While the interview generated controversies over its authenticity, her family never came out to deny or accept she granted it.
Then mid week emerged another interview with a national newspaper, where she gave her age as 14, revealed she did not know how she got to Kano, did not know what really happened, but just followed Yunusa to Kano.
She spoke of how she became a Muslim and learned Hausa. However, unlike the first interview, she spoke of how much she missed her family back in Bayelsa and looked forward to returning home.
Saturday Vanguard investigations revealed that Yunusa enjoyed a cordial relationship with Ese back in Bayelsa, where he patronised Ese’s mother’s bucateria (buka), and where Ese regularly served him.
In her own interview, Ese’s mother, Mrs Rose Oruru detailed how she found out her daughter was missing, and the pains she went through searching for her in the neighbourhood, learning she had been abducted and her journey to Kano.
Ironically, one of the persons she asked of on learning her daughter had left home in the morning of that fateful Tuesday, August 12, 2015 and had not returned by 11am, was Yunusa.
“As I was going (to search for Ese)”, she told her interviewer, “one of my daughters told me that they saw the carpenter (another Northerner who also patronises her) lying in front of his shop since morning and that Yunusa, who usually came between 12 noon and 1pm to buy banga soup from their buka had not shown up that day. At that point, I decided to go and ask the carpenter for the telephone number of Yunusa ….” She continued: “… and he (the carpenter) told me Yunusa does not have a phone and that he usually comes to beg him to use his phone to make calls. The carpenter asked me why I was looking for him and I told him that I wanted to charter his keke (tricycle) and with that, I left his place and went to another shop that he usually patronise to ask for him.
“When I got there, I asked the owner of the shop, who happens to be a Yoruba woman, about Yunusa, and she told me he was not there but that his keke had been parked all day. She asked why I was looking for him and I told her I wanted to charter his keke. After a second thought, I decided to open up to her that I was looking for my daughter, Ese. She asked what Ese had to do with Yunusa, and I told her Yunusa had disappeared since morning and my daughter was nowhere to be found.”
The import of this was that immediately Ese got missing the mother suspected Yinusa? Would she have done so if the daughter and Yinusa were not close and perhaps in a relationship? But it still didn’t make eloping with a 13-year-old right.
Pregnant Ese Ese, who was returned to Bayelsa on Wednesday and presently quartered at the police officers’ mess in Yenagoa, has been confirmed to be about five months pregnant.
However, Dahiru Bala was quick to defend his son, claiming his son was not responsible as he never cohabited with Ese because of embedded contraption highly offensive to his religion. If this is true, more controversies will follow the Ese story. DNA may follow on delivery.

About 2 days ago, Nollywood actress, Ruth Kadiri shared a picture of herself and a friend in a compromising position which fans found suggestive.
Many accused the actress of being a lesbian, based on the fact that Ruth once revealed that her female lecturer made passes at her back in the university.
But in a new chat with Punch Newspapers, the actress has debunked these claims.
“I am not a lesbian,” Kadiri clarified. “It was just a harmless picture I took with my friends while we were about to set out to a private beach to have some fun.
“I think the picture was taken during the Valentine season or one of those festive seasons. The ironic thing is that our boyfriends were there when we took the picture. I am not a lesbian and I can never be one.”
Popular Nollywood actress and producer, Rita Dominic shared her delight at Leonardo Di Caprio’s Oscar win this week. The Surulere star was among the over one-hundred million people who were happy at Di Caprio’s ‘at last’ win after having never won an Oscar in his career though he had been nominated in several categories.
While the Oscar’s 2016 was rated the lowest in history since its inception, Di Caprio became the most trended name ever in the history of Twitter following his win, apparently he broke the previous mark set in 2014 by Ellen DeGeneres’ for her star-packed selfie.
Dominic stated: ”Still over the moon! congrats Leonardo Di Caprio, very well deserved!”.
The award winning producer shared Hollywood reporter’s post on Leonardo which got many asking ‘Why Leo’?.
‘Leo’s first steps as an Oscar winner! His Best Actor win was the most tweeted moment of an Oscar telecast ever with 440,000 tweets per minute—smashing the previous mark set by Ellen DeGeneres’ star-packed selfie in 2014.
Still, Di Caprio is a great actor and the award was long time coming and Dominic isn’t alone in her feelings as over a million women want Leo. Who would watch Titanic and not want Leonardo Di Caprio? If she’s crushing on him, we’re crushing right alongside her.
Rita Dominic had been shaded by a classmate in 2015 after she celebrated her 40th birthday, the purported ‘classmate’ stated the Mbaise-born actress was 43 and not 40. 40 or 43 Rita looks amazing for her age.
Meanwhile, Dominic’s new movie production ‘Surulere’ has been gaining popularity since it hit the cinemas on February 12, 2016.
Produced by Rita Dominic,
Surulere tells the story of resilience and patience, which involves the life of a young, timid graduate, Arinze (played by Seun Ajayi) who is desperate to beat his financial burdens. In his journey, he meets a charming go-getter, Omosigho (played by Beverly Naya) and what ensues is best seen for yourself.

For the first time, Oscar Pistorius has spoken out since he was denied leave to appeal his conviction for killing his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp, asking a journalist: “Have you no soul?”
Pistorius has served one year of his five-year sentence for manslaughter and was due to spend the rest of his sentence under house arrest.
When asked by a reporter from South Africa’s Times newspaper how he was feeling, he text back:
“I have asked you not to call me.
“Do you have no soul to respect someone in a time like this that all you can think of is your career?”
