The groom was actively engaged in checking the updates on his betting platform during the wedding reception while his bride was dancing happily on her own.
The bride was on the dancefloor surrounded by her bridesmaid and guests, enjoying the beat as she celebrated her big day while the husband was sitting and totally engrossed in the bet.
The video of the wedding showed when someone spotted the groom focusing all his attention on his mobile device and decided to move closer to him only to discover that he was betting.
Some Netizens reacted that he was doing what was necessary to make back the money spent on wedding arrangements while others speculated the man was suffering from a gambling addiction and lacked self control.

A Nigerian woman could not contain her joy when a good Samaritan set up a provision store for her.
In a trending video, a young lady approached the woman and asked her to follow her to her friends, whom she claimed she had told about the woman’s situation.
On their way to the purported friends, the lady asked that they stop to get water at a provision shop, where they were informed that the owner wasn’t around.
The lady then revealed her surprise to the elderly woman. She informed her that she was actually the owner of the shop where they had stopped to buy water.
According to her, she and some well-meaning Nigerians decided to get a shop, stock it up with goods, and gift it to the woman.
The woman, who was utterly dumbfounded, got quite emotional as she broke down in tears while showering prayers on the good Samaritan and everyone else who contributed.
The woman, amid sobs noted that she had never in her life imagined that she would have a store of her own.

Lydia had taken to Facebook and Twitter to launch search for her biological family, and revealed that she was adopted by a white family in 2001 who moved her to another city.
She posted photos of herself as a baby and other information she knows about her birth mom and family. According to her, she has tried every means possible to find them but it was all futile so she decided to try social media before getting a private investigator.

A flight attendant, Yasser Saleh Al Yazidi, has died after suffering a heart attack in the air during a flight from Bahrain to Paris.
The air steward fell ill on Gulf Air flight GF-19, which departed Bahrain International Airport at 1.40 a.m. on Tuesday and was headed for Paris Charles de Gaulle airport.
In order for Yasser to obtain medical assistance, the Airbus A321’s pilots were compelled to make an urgent landing in Erbil in Iraq’s Kurdistan region.
The plane was met by a medical team, which immediately transferred Yasser to a nearby hospital. Sadly, he was pronounced dead on arrival.
The management of Gulf Air confirmed the unfortunate incident in a statement.
“The national carrier expresses its deepest condolences to the crew member’s family and loved ones, and confirms that the flight resumed to Paris as scheduled. Gulf Air reassures that the safety of its passengers and crew comes at the top of its priorities, and thanks the affected flight’s passengers for their patience and understanding,” the statement read.

Speaking to TMZ following the eye surgery, Gena revealed that she’s now completely blind in that eye for a second time and all she can see is pitch-black darkness.
Doctors prescribed new medication, but all the drugs have done is made her sick. Medical officials are now considering another surgery, but no decision has been made yet.
Gena has seen some improvement in other areas. She’s been putting some weight back on recently, going from 90 lbs to 105 lbs. She’s also regaining her ability to walk, with the help of a walker.
Tiantian Kullander, the co-founder of Hong Kong-based digital asset company Amber Group, has tragically passed away in his sleep on November 23.
The Amber co-founder, who is fondly known as “TT”, was only 30 years old and is survived by his wife and kid.
The tragic news was confirmed on the company’s website where they described him as a devoted husband and loving father.
“He put his heart and soul into the company, in every stage of its growth. He led by example with his intellect, generosity, humility, diligence and creativity”, the company wrote in a statement.
The company remembered him as a “respected thought leader and widely recognized pioneer for the industry.”
“His depth of knowledge, his willingness to collaborate and his desire to always help others benefited countless start-ups and individuals. His insights and creativity inspired many projects, people and communities.
“We lost a great partner and a true friend in TT and words cannot express our sorrow at this time. TT’s legacy will live on and we will work even harder to make Amber the category-defining leader of our industry, as this was TT’s ambition and dream.”
Details surrounding his death are still sketchy, save for the fact that he died in his sleep.

Quite heartbroken relatives of the 11-month and 3-year-old boys who were discovered fatally stabbed in an overflowing bathtub have said their mother, suspected of killing them, is obsessed with ‘demons’.
Octavius and his 3-year-old sibling, Daishawn Fleming, were found repeatedly stabbed in the neck and torso on Saturday night, November 26 in a family shelter on Echo Place near the Grand Concourse in Mount Hope, Brooklyn, New York, police sources revealed.
Police are of the belief that the boys’ mother, Dimone “Brenda” Fleming, stabbed them to death, though an autopsy will determine if the children died of their wounds or from drowning. Fleming, 22, is undergoing psychiatric care and is yet been charged.
“They were beautiful children, and they did not deserve to die. It’s simple as that,” Beverly Hill, the paternal grandmother of 11-month-old victim Octavius Canada told the Daily News.
“They were beautiful, and they had no reason to die.”
Octavius’ father, Columbus Canada, 31, told the police that he’d been staying in his car after getting into a fight with Fleming the night before. He returned home Saturday night to find the lifeless bodies of the boys.
Octavius’ great aunt, Casey Canada, said Fleming had been talking obsessively about “demons.”
“She thought the kids were devils. She said she was afraid of them,” said Casey Canada, who looked after both boys and raised their father, Columbus Canada, like a second mother.
But Casey Canada was baffled as to why Fleming would allegedly take her children’s lives.
Fleming clashed with both her own relatives and Canada’s family, Casey Canada said.
“There wasn’t a moment I was around her she wasn’t loving with the children — but with adults, she could change in a moment,” the great-aunt said. “She just snapped.”
Fleming’s father, Dwane “Dee” Fleming, said he was skeptical about whether his daughter could have killed her children.. He also said he believes his daughter has postpartum depression, a condition the young mother had been hoping to treat.
“Dimone was going through some stuff,” said Dwane Fleming. “And my sister said she will take the kids and that Dimone is going to the hospital and we’ll get some help for that. Dimone wanted to get treatment for herself.”
Dimone Fleming was raised by a family friend while her father Dwane Fleming was incarcerated and her mother was out of the picture, according to the father. She later spent time in a group home after repeatedly running away from her father as a teenager, he said.
A close friend said that Fleming had been acting erratically and cutting off people she considered “blockages.”
“Brenda has been deep inside the Bible talking about Lucifer and s—,” said the woman, who asked not to be named. “She has been trying to find the people who are ‘blocking’ her or stopping her from succeeding.”
The friend when she asked Fleming if she would be coming to celebrate the friend’s birthday the following day, to which the woman responded, “if there is a tomorrow.”
“I said, ‘Stop talking like that’ and she said, ‘No … I’m for real, I’m real stressed out,’” the woman recalled.
“We would talk about her being depressed, feeling she wasn’t a good enough mother, and she was sad and overwhelmed,” she said. “She would talk about [bringing] the kids to her mother’s or leaving them with their fathers, but she never said anything about harming those children.”
Police were initially called to the scene because Fleming was acting erratically, but they didn’t find the young children — who were submerged in a bathtub covered with clothes and a bedsheet, sources said.
“She was incoherent and mumbling, naked on the bed. The bathtub water was on. The tub was filled with clothes,” said a source.
The oven was also on and someone inside the home said, “she’s trying to burn the house down.”
A Nigerian lady has called out the owner and attendants of a supermarket in Lagos for allegedly assaulting her and her two friends.
The lady said they bought wares worth N3,950 from the supermarket and paid with bank transfer but the store attendants claimed not to have received the payment.
They then made another transfer to the store attendant’s personal bank account but she claimed not to have received it as well.
After which they agreed to check back to confirm if the payment had been received. However, when they returned back to the supermarket to ask for an update on the transfer, they were reportedly assaulted by the attendants and detained by police officers invited by the store owner.
According to the lady, they were forced to pay N150,000 for a glass door that was broken during the scuffle and N40,000 as bail.

“Hello everyone! i’m tweeting from a place of hurt. it’s been a week now & we haven’t gotten justice still. on the 21st of nov 2022,i & my friends were assaulted. the day before being the 20th of nov 2022, two of my friends went to get few stuff we’d use to prep dinner with from a supermarket close to the estate (PJAY MART) at osapa london.
After purchasing the items, they made a transfer of 3,950 as that was the total amount of all the items they purchased to the store’s account but the store attendants claimed not to have gotten it.
My friend was debited and she showed them proof but they claimed not to have received it still and kept her and my other friend waiting for confirmation for over 2 solid hours. one of the store attendants later gave them her personal account to resend the money there again tey transferred another sum of 3,950 and it went through immediately. the store attendant then said they should come back the following day and even gave them her cell digits so that she’d inform them as soon as they receive the first money they sent. these are the alerts.
We went for a beach hangout the following day and we decided to stop at the store on our way back home to confirm if they got the money already cos it wasn’t reversed from our end. on getting there, we saw the store attendant that gave us her cell digits and took our details sanding just by the suya spot outside so we asked her what was going on cos we called her earlier during the day and she was sounding very cold on the phone.
She claimed to have been sleeping as at the time we called. the store owner was in the premises and overheard our convo then called the store attendant and asked her what the problem was and she explained then her reply to us was “who are you people to tell me to call my bank or confirm any transaction? i haven’t gotten any money, if you like shout and bring down the building, i don’t care”
She then instructed all of the staff present to keep mute and ignore us and she drove off. the other store attendant that was present when the whole incident took place was outside as well so we asked her what the next line of action would be how possible it was for us to get a refund and alladat, she hissed and walked out on us, obviously adhering to her boss’s instructions. we were livid and we followed her into the store to ask her what the disrespect was for. now, other store attendants were present about two other female and two male store attendants.
The male store attendants started pushing us out of the store. we were trying to get a hold of ourselves cos it was unexpected. there were a couple of plumbing pipes at the entrance and one of the male attendants picked it up and started using it to flog one of my friends, we were all shocked at the sudden outburst and tried to stop him but he ended up hitting the three of us with it instead. my friend who was already bleeding struggled with him as they both held the glass entrance door and it broke
The other store attendants present that couldn’t say a word or stop their colleague from attacking us called the store owner immediately and she came back to the store. we told her we were assaulted, my friend was already bleeding at the time.
I showed her my broken screen cos he threw my phone on the ground when i was recording him. my friend’s gold earring went missing as well. she said she didn’t care about any of that and we duly deserved the assault and we must pay for her broken door.

The store owner made some calls and shortly after, a man showed up with about two armed police officers to pick us up. we told her we won’t go alone and the guy that assaulted us needed to be there as well and her response was “i called the police to come pick you guys up, when you call your own you can come and pick him up”
We went with the armed officers to the station. on our way, the man that came with the officers stopped halfway and asked if we didn’t want to settle with them thereby paying 250k for the broken door and we refused. we said we’d only pay if it’s a 50/50 arrangement or they let us bring our own technician to fix it cos if there wasn’t any outburst from them it won’t lead to the door being damaged. he said the store owner didn’t want any of that, it’s either we pay 250k in full. nothing less!!
We got to the police station and the officers at the counter took our statement and said we were the ones at fault, that we’re nothing but prostitutes going around constituting nuisance. even after seeing my injured friend and my damaged phone
They threw us into the cell and detained us up until the following day. the following day being the 21st of nov 2022 was a monday. the store owner came to the police station to see the DPO of ILASAN DIVISION ( the station we were detained) as at 12 noon and we were called out.
She said she’d only accept the payment of 150k for the door, to think she initially said 250k lol. we made the transfer of 150k even after offering to bring in our technician for the umpteenth time.
She confirmed the alerts and asked if it was the same account we sent the initial 3,950 from cos the account name was familiar which means she received the money but claimed not to lol. she then left with the female attendant that was rude to us when the whole p happened.
We were still locked up. the police officers said we will be charged to court for malicious damage & transferred to panti if we don’t pay the sum of 90k for bail which is 30k each for the 3 of us. after much pleading, they said they’d only collect 40k, nothing more nothing less!
We paid it which is a total of 190k in total and they made us sign an undertaking that we’d never step foot into the store(PJAY MART) before they released us.

A Nigerian lady has taken to her social media page to raise an alarm as she claims her brother’s jewelry and money were stolen by an Airport staff.
The lady made a video on her TikTok page and begged that it goes viral as she and her brother are looking for means to regain what was stolen from him.
According to her, her brother had patronized an Airline back from Qatar where he’d gone visiting for the FIFA 2022 World Cup and upon his return, he opened his luggage only to discover that his jewelries were nowhere to be found.

A 21-year-old woman, Lydia Macnair, has employed the power of social media to find her biological mother and siblings.
Lydia had taken to Facebook and Twitter to launch search for her biological family, and revealed that she was adopted by a white family in 2001 who moved her to another city.
She posted photos of herself as a baby and other information she knows about her birth mom and family. According to her, she has tried every means possible to find them but it was all futile so she decided to try social media before getting a private investigator.

A young Nigerian man who rescued a 2-year-old girl dumped by the roadside in Agbani area of Enugu state, has shared lovely new photos of himself and the child.
The good Samaritan, identified as Ben Kingsley Nwashala, found the little girl back in June and disclosed that she was given birth to by a mentally unstable woman who normally stays at a market in Agbani.
At the time, he took to Twitter to relay the incident along with photos of the malnourished little girl.
He wrote, “I just picked an abandoned 2yr old baby by the roadside somewhere in Agbani, Enugu State. She was given birth to by a mad woman who normally stays at Eke Agbani. Took her to the police station and the DPO said we should take her home and clean her up and bring her back tomorrow.
“I will give update tomorrow. This baby has suffered tremendously. She sat at that same spot while all the rain that fell yesterday battered her. The market women didn’t do nothing. I will post videos tomorrow and other updates.
“At the police station in Agbani, Enugu State. As at now we’ve cleaned her up and she’s eating like someone who hasn’t eaten since she was born. Her body is full of sore. Please we need advice on the proper diet to feed her for now. I don’t know how to take care of babies.”

Ace Nigerian music video director, TG Omori, has reacted to the claim that he had a “percentage deal” with singer Austine De Bull before shooting the music video for his viral song “Shey You Dey Whine Me.”
Austine de Bull recently became an internet sensation after his song, “Shey You Dey Whine Me,” became a viral internet sound.
Creative music director Omori, who has an impressive track record in the music industry and has directed a number of award-winning music videos, offered via his Twitter handle to shoot a music video for Austine.
“I desperately need to meet that guy that sang that shey you Dey whine me song that song deserves a TG OMORI video cos what?!!!” He wrote.

Omori later gave an update on his Twitter page, saying that he has met with the Ogoni singer and the music video will be released soon.
However, shortly after the announcement, a Twitter user alleged that Omori had a percentage deal with Austine before shooting the video.
“They had an agreement on percentage”, the tweep wrote.
Responding to the claim, Omori, who knocked the Twitter user, maintained that there was no deal or percentage involved. He said he just loves the song and wants to have fun with the filming.
“Shut up slow head. We got No deal no percentage. I personally Loved the song and We just out here having fun,” he wrote.
In one of his contentious social media nuggets, Nigerian lawyer and author, Reno Omokri has admonished men to desist from financially helping women who are not their wife, daughter, mother or unmarried sister.

A lady who claims to be a neighbor to popular car dealer, Ikechukwu Ogbonna better known as IVD, and his late wife, Bimbo, has slammed him for threatening to commit suicide over the incident.
Recall that Bimbo passed away on Saturday, October 15, as a result of the injuries she sustained from a fire incident that occurred in their home. Bimbo was said to have suffered the burn injuries during a fight with her husband.
In a new development, IVD who is reportedly in police custody in connection with his wife’s death, took to his Instagram page to make a suicide threat.
He said he doesn’t have a reason to live anymore because his wife is dead and he hasn’t seen his children in over a month.

She also claimed that IVD left his wife in her care when she was languishing in pain and clearly stated that he doesn’t care if she lives or dies, and now he’s trying to emotionally manipulate people into thinking he was a good father and husband.
A 56-year-old man, Lawal Oyenuga, has been arrested by operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) for drug trafficking.
The agency’s spokesperson, Femi Babafemi, said in a statement on Sunday that Lawal, who was headed to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, via Addis Ababa on an Ethiopian Airways flight, was arrested on Thursday, November 24, at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Ikeja, Lagos, along with his recruiter, Wasiu Sanni Gbolahan, a.k.a. “Teacher”.
Lawal had concealed 400g of cocaine in a pair of black palm sandals in this luggage, which was detected to contain illicit drugs.
Lawal’s recruiter, Teacher, revealed that he was first given some pellets of cocaine to swallow, but when he couldn’t, he was given the ones concealed in the sandals.
Lawal, while being paraded, said that he resorted to the criminal trade to raise money to pay his daughter’s SS3 examination fee.
The NDLEA linked Wasiu to some previous attempts to traffic cocaine to Saudi Arabia and Dubai, UAE. He was named as the one who recruited a BRT driver, Bolajoko Muyiwa Babalola, for Lagos socialite and owner of Adekaz Hotels, Alhaji Ademola Afolabi Kazeem (a.k.a. Alhaji Abdallah Kazeem Muhammad), to traffic drugs to Dubai.
Bolajoko was arrested on June 27 with 900 grams of cocaine en route to Dubai, while Ademola Kazeem was nabbed on November 10, barely 10 days after he was declared wanted by the NDLEA.
A follow-up operation in the early hours of Friday, November 25, led to the arrest of the kingpin, Teacher, who specializes in recruiting mules for drug barons in Lagos and its environs, at his residence located in the Ikorodu area of Lagos.

In other news, a Nigerian doctor has shared a shocking tale of paternity fraud between a couple and the wife’s ex-boyfriend.
The woman had allegedly had an affair with her ex a few days before her wedding but confessed to her husband and he forgave her.
According to the doctor, the woman gave birth nine months later and the ex laid claim to the child and insisted on a DNA test to prove his right.
