Akwa Ibom-based pastor, Ab Isong, has taken to Facebook to encourage people who are downcast because of their present condition.
He advised them not to give up on their dreams, and be consistent and focused on their primary place of assignment while trusting the process of time.
According to him, he has seen ordinary people become great men/women in their respective fields and it all happened in the course of time so people should not be dismayed by their current situation.
The clergyman shared throwback photos of his humble beginning as a pastor and wrote,
“LET ME ENCOURAGE YOU TODAY! We didn’t get here just by faith. It happened through a process of time! Give yourself time!.”

May Edochie seemingly agrees with comment of fan who shaded her husband, Yul Edochie and his new wife, Judy
Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie’s first wife, May Edochie, has seemingly expressed agreement with the comment of a fan who threw jabs at her husband and his new wife, Judy Austin.
May had taken to her Instagram page to share a lovely video of herself in a beautiful traditional attire when the fan grabbed the opportunity to declare her love and support for her amid the polygamy controversy.
It would be recalled in April 2022, her actor husband, Yul, announced that he has taken his colleague, Judy, as his second wife and they have welcomed a son together.
At the time, May made it clear that she wasn’t happy with her husband’s action and prayed for God to judge the both of them.
Well, few months down the line, the follower showered praises on her and dissed Yul and his new wife while stating that they will “perish soon”.
The staunch fan and supporter wrote,
“My superwoman, I see God blessing you more than you ever imagine.. I will call you to be my ambassador soon.. is not a joke. Yul and Judy Austin will eat their eyes soon because many have vowed to support you darling. No shaking we are here for you. They will perish soon. Just be strong for us. We love you.”

Photos from Kuje prison after the attack by terrorists
Suspected Boko Haram terrorists attacked the Kuje Custodial Centre in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory, at about 10 p.m. on Tuesday, July 5.
Witnesses report that the attack began at 10 p.m. and lasted for more than an hour before security personnel repelled the terrorists who broke into the facility with explosives.
The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Interior, Dr. Shuaib Belgore, who confirmed the attack, said about 600 inmates fled the prisons following the attack.
According to Belgore, those behind the attack were Boko Haram terrorists who came specifically for their members held in the custody.
“There have been several attacks on our facilities most of them are being repelled, but every now and then, there is one that they have succeeded. In this is one they came very determined with high explosives.
“The initial entry attempt was unsuccessful, then they attacked another section of the wall with higher grade explosives which brought the wall down.
“The forces on the ground did everything they could to repel them but the number they came with was high which they were not able to defend against. They kept on fighting gallantly unfortunately the breach happened. Reinforcement came when they were halfway through it. They were eventually repelled.
“At the time they came in they killed one NSCDC operative while trying to save the situation. The inmates here are 994.
“We understand they are Boko Haram terrorists and came specifically came for their conspirators. Many of them have returned, some were retrieved from the bushes they were hiding, right now we have retrieved about 300 out of about 600 that got out of the jail.” He told news men.

FG reveals that about 600 inmates escaped after suspected Boko Haram terrorists attacked Kuje prison
About 600 inmates have reportedly escaped from the Kuje Correctional Centre in Abuja after the facility was attacked on Tuesday evening.
Some unknown gunmen suspected to be Boko Haram terrorists stormed the prison around 10pm on Tuesday, July 5, and launched an attack on the facility.
The spokesman of the Nigerian Correctional Service, AD Umar, who confirmed the incident disclosed that calm has now been restored to the facility.
His statement reads,
“I wish to confirm that about 2200hrs, some yet-to-be-identified gunmen attacked the Medium Security Custodial Centre, Kuje in the Federal Capital Territory.
However, men of the Armed Squad of the Nigerian Correctional Service and other security agencies attached to the Custodial centre have responded and calm has been restored to the facility and the situation is under control.”
In a follow-up report, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Interior, Mr Shuaibu Belgore, has disclosed that about 600 prisoners escaped during the attack.
Belgore who visited the facility on Wednesday morning, said the facility houses 994 inmates and over 300 inmates have been caught while the rest will soon be apprehended.
He further disclosed that the assailants are suspected to be Boko Haram terrorists who attacked the facility to rescue their colleagues.

Special Spesh was recently interviewed by Juicy J on Smade TV in line with the Afronation show. However, during the interview, he was introduced as Davido’s official DJ.
This caught Davido’s attention and he took to the comment section of the video and his Insta-stories to react.
Taking to his Instagram story, Davido teased Spesh, making a joke about the situation.
Sharing a video from the interview on his Instagram stories, Davido claimed that the wrong introduction ruined Spesh’s mood and had him step down with a drink.

Spesh was probably reacting to the news of Young Nigerian man who shared his mother’s reaction after he used a photo of him dressed like a girl as his WhatsApp profile picture.
In the photo, the young man was dressed in a high school girl uniform, a blonde wig and fully made-up face. However, it is unclear if he is a crossdresser or the outfit was his Halloween costume.
Reacting to this, his mom expressed her disapproval with the outfit and pleaded with him to stop the ‘nonsense’.
42-year-old man goes missing after leaving home to attend wedding in Ibadan
A 42-year-old man, identified as Ibukun Olusola Olajide, has been declared missing by the Ekiti State Police Command.
Olajide was said to have left his house in Ado-Ekiti on Friday evening, July 1, to attend a wedding in Ibadan but never arrived at the party.
According to the spokesperson of the command, DSP Sunday Abuku, Olajide was last seen after he left home and all efforts to find him has been futile.
Anyone with useful information about his whereabouts has been instructed to contact the nearest Police station.

Man breaks up with his girlfriend for watching his mother sweep
A Nigerian man on Twitter, Chinedu Ihekwoaba, has stirred reactions after he revealed the trivial reason he broke up with his girlfriend.
Chinedu, who questioned how young girls are raised in today’s society, claimed that his relationship with his girlfriend ended when he saw her watching his mother sweep without offering to help.
Apparently, the young woman had paid a visit to her man in his home and met his mother sweeping. Rather than helping with the chore, she sat and watched the old woman complete her task.
The young man was enraged by this and broke up with her as a result.
Narrating the incident on Twitter, Chinedu wrote,
“I knew I was done with this girl when she visited me at home. My mom was sweeping the living room and this girl literally raised her legs for her to sweep under the. When mom was done, she pointed at the door; leave my house! Now let’s get serious, who raised all these girls? “

Singer, Eedris Abdulkareem diagnosed with kidney failure, set to undergo kidney transplant
The management of veteran Nigerian singer, Eedris Abdulkareem, has called for prayers for the singer as he is set to undergo kidney transplant.
In a statement released on the Instagram page of the ‘Nigeria Jaga Jaga’ crooner on Wednesday afternoon, June 6, it was disclosed that Eedris was recently diagnosed with kidney failure and has been undergoing dialysis in a hospital in Lagos.
His management has now appealed to Nigerians to pray fervently and send in their well wishes to the singer.

Jandor made the clarification following trending report on social media on Wednesday, claiming that he had finally settled for Akindele as his Deputy.

“We killed Nkemdili because our deity needed virgin’s blood” – Suspected ritualist confesses
One of the suspected ritualists who allegedly killed a young girl, Nkemdili Eze, in Enugu state, said the girl was sacrificed because their deity needed the blood of a virgin to be powerful.
The suspect, identified simply as Agbo, made the confessional statement shortly after he was caught by the neighborhood personnel in connection with the crime, Vanguard reports.
The suspect said that Ifeanyi Onyishi, a native doctor, ordered him to bring Nkemdili to him for the sacrifice after he recommended her. The suspect and his accomplice, Ifeanyi Onyishi, also known as Aro bi n’agu, were both burned to death by an angry mob.
The Neighbourhood official quoted late Agbo as saying;
“Ifeanyi didn’t like the fact that I was being caught most of the time I went for robbery operations. He was looking for a way to fortify his deity. One day, he told me that he had brought an abandoned deity named Idenyi, to his shrine.
I was shocked to hear that from him. I asked him if he knew how to appease the deity. He equally told me that he needed the blood of a virgin to make the deity powerful. That was why he asked me to bring someone to her and I recommended Nkemdili.
So, there was a masquerade festival in my village. A day before the festival, I searched for Nkemdili but without success.
However, a day after the festival, I was in the bush smoking Indian hemp when she passed. I quickly notified Ifeanyi and he moved to the location with another suspect who I didn’t recognize.
“When they got there, his friend stopped her, while Ifeanyi covered her mouth and they took her into the bush. I followed them also.
“After the sacrifice, he promised he was going to settle me very well. He said he was going to sell a portion of his land to give me a huge sum of money that would make me not to expose him.”

A Canada-based Nigerian lady has shared an email her father sent to her in 2014 advising her to focus on school work and self development.
The lady, identified as Adebanke Falade, who was 21 at the time took to Twitter to share a screenshot of the email.
Her father advised her not to be in a hurry to get married and instead focus on developing herself and acing her courses.
According to him, most people who got married below 25 ended up divorced because of the financial pressure and immaturity.
He further emphasized that she should take her time and not be in a “hurry to eat hot soup”.

A cabman has narrated how he handled a “Lekki babe” who refused to stop brushing her hair in his car despite telling her not to.
The man identified as Oni Foto took to Facebook to recount his experience on Tuesday, June 5.
According to him, he picked up the lady around 12 midnight and she started brushing her hair in his car which he didn’t find comfortable so he politely told her to stop.
However, the lady gave him a rude response and told him she has the right to do anything she wants in his car because she is paying for the ride.
This didn’t sit well with the cabbie and he parked his car and made her come down without getting to her destination.

The thespian in a video shared on her Instagram page narrated in details how the incident occurred and advised people to be security conscious.
She also vowed never to travel at night again after the horrifying experience she had with the armed robbers.

“Please let’s be security conscious. Nowhere is safe. Two days ago which is on Sunday, I wrapped up my girlfriend’s production. I told them I was leaving for Enugu because I had a job that I was going for. They have been waiting for me for like three days. Destiny, Mary, they told me not to travel.
I told them I needed to go because there is no movement on Monday. So, I told them I needed to go. And I left. I was in traffic at the head Bridge for like two hours. I successfully passed the traffic. I got to a route you would take to go to Awka. It is usually very fast for me so, I passed the road.
I met another traffic there. So, I was in traffic for another one hour. It was dark. It was 8.30 pm. All of a sudden, I heard a very loud bang on my side glass window. I was shocked. So I winded down. I was like hello, then a guy came and said, “do you know you are on the wrong lane?” He was trying to bend my side mirror. So I started to beg him.
I told him I saw other cars passing through the same lane. The next thing, I wanted to wind up and he put my hands down and came in. Brought his head inside. My PA was seated beside me. His partner went to the other side of the window. So, the guy brought his head inside the car and said, if you make any noise, I will shoot you.
He brought a gun and pointed at my stomach and told me to bring out everything that I have. He said I should give him my phone. I told him to take money instead of my phone because he would not be able to use the iPhone. I brought money out, as I was giving it to him. He said I should tell my brother to bring out all the money he has. I told him the PA is not with any money. I begged them after they threatened to kill me.”

Woman captures the scary moment lightning struck her husband’s truck (video)
A woman captured the horrifying moment lightning struck her husband’s truck with him and their kids inside on Friday evening, July 1.
The husband, Edward Whalen, and his family were driving down from St. Petersburg and heading back to their hotel when the unexpected occurred.
The lightning strike was captured by his wife, Michaelle, who was traveling in another vehicle that was trailing Whalen and their children in the truck.
According to Whalen,
“She (Michaelle) thought the storm was really neat looking and so she wanted to get a picture of it and she kept trying to snap pictures, she couldn’t catch it. So my son-in-law recommended she use that slow motion video. That’s when she caught the big moment.”
“You could feel a slight buzz in the car when it hit us, and then my oldest daughter was sitting next to me and she jumped halfway in my lap and screamed. She [Whalen’s daughter] yelled daddy what happened and I said we got hit by lightning,” he added.
Thankfully, no one in the vehicle was injured, but the truck was “completely fried” by the lightning strike.
Speaking further, Whalen said,
“I had to jump out of the truck and run back to her and hold her and let her know we were all fine. We were really confused. We had real bad headaches. That was always my dream truck, and I finally got it. I had just made my third payment on it and then boom. Hopefully, it’ll work out though.”
Whalen said he’s just glad they’re alive.
“It was pretty wild. After everything was done, my son said we needed to check ourselves in a couple days for super powers.” He said.

Young couple die as fire razes their home in Maiduguri
A young Nigerian man, Gidado Abubakar Auta, and his pregnant wife, Amina Ahmad, have died in a fire that gutted their home in Maiduguri, Borno State.
The couple, who were both medical doctors and until their death worked at the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital (UMTH), are said to have suffered severe burns in the fire accident in their home three days ago.
The husband, Dr Gidado, died on Tuesday, July 5, while his wife died on Wednesday morning, July 6.
Dr. Gidado Abubakar Auta was a Senior Registrar in Radiology, while the late Amina was a house officer.
Gidado was buried according to Muslim rites on Tuesday, July 5th, 2022. The funeral prayers for the late Dr. Amina will be held by 10 a.m. on Wednesday, opposite the Satus Hotel, Lagos Street, Maiduguri.
Families, friends, and colleagues of the deceased couple have since taken to social media to pen touching tributes to them.
A close friend of the deceased, Isyaku Baba wrote on Facebook,
“It is with grave shock that we recieved the deaths of Dr Amina Ahmad (House Officer) and wife of Late Dr Auta Gidado, both which were lost to fire inferno.
The husband, Late Dr Auta was confirmed dead yesterday while the wife followed her beloved this morning.
The couples worked with the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital.Dr. Gidado Abubakar Auta was a Senior Registrar, Radiology. He was one of the finest Resident Doctor in the Department of Radiology University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital (UMTH). The wife, Dr Amina died as a pregnant woman. May Allah give the family the fortitude to bear the great yet irreplaceable loss and grant the couples an eternal life in paradise. Say a prayer for this committed couples whilst they rest in peace and share. It could have been either of us.”

A lady who hails from Kaduna, who had resorted to stealing after the state government dismantled her shop was offered over N1.4million.
In narrating her ordeal, she said she came to the programme with her family after seeing the pastor in her dream. She confessed that her predicament led her into stealing to take care of her children.
This won’t be the first time the philanthropist, through his foundation would be putting smiles on the faces of the masses.
Recently, thousand of families were feted with over N85 million and foodstuff by the Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin Foundation.
Last year, nearly about N800 billion was said to have to have been released by the cleric as palliative in support of the Federal Government and the masses to assuage the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Man arrives Mecca after trekking from South Africa for three years (Video)
A South African man simply identified as Saheed has made history after arriving in Islam’s holiest city, Mecca, on foot.
Saheed reportedly started his journey to the holy land from Cape Town in South Africa on August 30th, 2018. He walked through Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Kenya, Sudan, Egypt, and Palestine, where the COVID-19 border lockdown forced him to pause his journey.
According to him, he stayed in Palestine for a year and eight months while waiting for the border to be opened, and when that was done, he continued his journey.
Saheed, while speaking to newsmen about his experience shortly after arriving in Saudi Arabia, said he’s in Mecca for the Hajj and after this, he would begin his journey back to his homeland, South Africa, on foot.

Kunle began the ride on Tuesday, April 19, and has been sharing daily updates about his journey on micro-blogging site, Twitter.

In a series of tweets on her page, Ese wondered what powerful men enjoy while violating teenage girls — she revealed that at the time she was being violated, she presumed the pastor was doing it for spiritual powers but after the Epstein and R.Kelly story, she dismissed the claim that such violent acts is tied to spiritual powers.
