5 Chibok Parents Receive Calls From Missing Girls Mobiles.
Five telephone lines belonging to some of the abducted Chibok schoolgirls were used to call some of the parents, it was learnt yesterday.
To increase their agony after missing the calls, the anxious parents were threatened by those receiving the calls when returned the calls.
The unknown callers also gave conflicting information on their location with some claiming to be speaking from Ondo or from Cameroon.
Mr. Hosea Tsambido, Chairman Kibaku Area Development association (KADA), an Association that represents the Chibok community in Abuja, told reporters yesterday that the chairman of the Chibok girls’ parents, Yakubu Nkeki, gave him the information.He added that Nkeki was threatened by the respondents and warned never to call back if he loves his life.
He said:
“The speculation that a Chibok girl phoned her father is not exactly like that. It is actually the telephone numbers of about five girls that are being used to call people but when the parents call back, different people answer, some will say they are in Ondo or in Cameroon.
”All the parents that were called missed the calls,” he said.

6 Year Old Girl Falls To Her Death From Skyscraper After Watching Cartoon Characters Fly.
A six-year-old girl fell to her death from a 43-floor apartment complex in Osaka minutes after she watched a anime DVD featuring a family who could fly.
According to Guardian, the girl, who has not been named by Japanese authorities, climbed over a one metre-high fence at the edge of the balcony before plunging to her death.
It is understood the girl climbed out through a window onto the balcony and used a chair to scale the fence at the apartment.The family members saw the girl standing on the top of the fence before she lost her balance and tumbled over the side.
A police official told The Guardian:
‘We do not suspect any foul play at this time. We received a call on Sunday afternoon from a man who witnessed the girl’s fall. It may seem strange that it was not the family who called, but somebody on the ground witnessed the tragedy, and as soon as he saw it, he immediately called authorities.”We don’t want to name the anime she was watching because it could lead to people saying “this is what happens when you watch this movie”.’
Officials claimed the girl had started school the Friday before her death and was looking forward to the experience. She is survived by a younger brother and sister.

A woman, Mrs. Abigail Brown, has been arrested for kidnapping her two children to get ransom from her husband in Rivers state.
Brown and her husband’s former driver, identified simply as ThankGod, were said to have kidnapped Abigail’s two children and called the husband to pay a ransom to secure their release.
Brown initially denied the allegation against her, but later said the act was not intentional.
She told PUNCH Metro that it was frustration that made her to commit the crime, adding that she had no means of survival.
She claimed that her husband had abandoned her and the two children to suffer, adding that the kidnap was the only means of making some money from her husband.
It was gathered that the suspect had abducted her two children, aged two and 10 respectively, and hid them in her sister’s place.
She was said to be awaiting the ransom from the husband before she was apprehended by the police.
She said:
“I did it because of frustration. My husband abandoned me and my children.
“Since he left us and went away, I have been suffering with my children, and I know that he has money.“I only did it to make him bring money for me to take care of the children we had together.”
It was learnt that the suspect had demanded N6m as ransom to secure the release of the two children. She said:
“I did not demand up to that amount, but I demanded money from my husband.”
ThankGod, the former driver to the woman’s husband, who accepted taking part in the act, said his former boss’ wife contacted him.
ThankGod said:
“She called me to help her. She told me to take the two children to her sister’s place. That is how I got involved.
“She used me to act as the kidnapper of the two children before we were arrested. She lured me into it.”

Married Gospel Singer Found Dead in Hotel Room After Spending Night With Pastor in Benin
Benin-based gospel singer Yvonne Omoarebokhae was found dead in a hotel room in Benoni, Benin, Edo State, after she allegedly spent the night with a Lagos-based pastor, Apostle Psalm Okpe of Fresh Oil Ministry.
From reports, the late Yvonne met Pastor Okpe on Facebook where they kicked off a relationship which went on for months, before they agreed for Yvonne to perform at Okpe’s programmes in Warri, Asaba and Benin.
According to Yvonne’s husband, his wife left home last Friday for the event. “At about 9:30 pm, the police used my wife phone to call and invited me to report at the Airport Road police station,” the man told the press. “I waited for more than two hours at the police station until the police asked me to go home but I insisted on knowing the whereabouts of my wife.”
“The DPO later told me that my wife was picked at a hotel in the GRA and rushed to the Benin Central hospital where she was confirmed dead,” the bereaved man continued, adding, “I am yet to see the corpse of my wife to know want happen and who is responsible for her death. We have a three-year-old baby at home.”
Meanwhile, Pastor Okpe has been arrested. Speaking with the press, the State Commissioner of Police, Chris Ezike, said: “It is under investigation. The man is married and the woman is married. Not until a post mortem is conducted, we cannot conclude what happened. I have asked the matter to be transferred to the State CID.”

A lady has been severely beaten and stripped in front of her co-workers over her alleged affair with her married boss in Zimbabwe.
Sandra Chibanda, was left humiliated after her boss’s wife identified as Mai Jerry, in the company of three friends, stormed Sandra’s workplace demanding to know the nature of her relationship with Gerald Nyamunetsi who is the Transport Manager at a local transport firm near Highfields in Zimbabwe, H-Metro reports.
The four women, armed with a pair of scissors and two bottles of beer entered the company kitchen where Sandra works and descended upon the woman.
In a bid to retrieve the messages between the two, the phone was smashed after Sandra refused to divulge her password. Sandra revealed that she had been dating Nyamunetsi for almost a year now and pleaded for mercy.
“Please forgive me, I will break up with him. I do not know what got into me. “I know you but I could not resist. We have been dating for a year now,”
It also emerged that Sandra was helped by Mai Jerry’s mother to get the job as a cook at the company and that Nyamunetsi had built a house for Sandra .
“Was it not my mother who helped you secure a job here? And this is how you pay her back by bedding her daughter’s husband. You made me bake cakes for your children using my hubby’s money making me appear a fool. “Today I want to teach you a lesson. I want all the things that my husband bought you.”
Mai Jerry said this whilst cutting off Sandra’s hair using a pair of scissors and tearing off her clothes including her pants.
After stripping her they told her to walk to their car which was parked outside and one of the workers protested and exchanged blows with Mai Jerry and her team.
“How can you strip a woman in front of men, you are not going to take her out of this premises,” he said.
They still succeeded in taking her away..The husband in question was said to be away at the time the incident took place.

A Harare man is in a dilemma following a recent confession by his 24 year old wife!
Charlene Dzokese (24) confessed to bedding two men in a bid to help him secure a job – she cheated with Crisis in Zimbabwe Coalition boss, Phillan Zamchiya and her husband’s best friend Beloved Chiweshe.
Dzokese told H. Metro that her husband, Mehluli Dube had been unemployed since 2004 and Zamchiya and Chiweshe had promised to help him.
Mehluli discovered the love affair last Wednesday when he rummaged through his wife’s WhatsApp
chats.These affairs had been running concurrently since last year November.
“Indeed I cheated on Mehluli not that I wanted to but I had no choice, we have been suffering for years now and we have a minor to fend for. I know how hard life can be because at some point I once stayed in the streets and I am an orphan, I only want the best for my son.
“So when his best friend presented me that he would get my husband a job and his former boss Zamchiya promised to get him something at Crisis in Zimbabwe Coalition where he is the director, I jumped at it,’ she said.
“Chiweshe knew that I was going out with Zamchiya and we would arrange to meet in town and at times he would come to our home in Zimre Park when Mehluli was away,” Dzokese said.
Dzokese and Mehluli have been married for three years and Mehluli says his wife was a victim of circumstances and he will make sure that his colleagues will pay for what they did.
“I have known Chiweshe since 2003, he has been my best friend since then and what he did really broke me down.
“I have been Zamchiya’s right hand man since last year when he took over directorship at Crisis in Zimbabwe Coalition.
“I still have my son to think about so I have decided to forgive my wife and sort out our differences but I have decided to take legal route to deal with Zamchiya and Chiweshe,”said Mehluli.

A Canadian based church gifted a private jet to its Ghanaian pastor for his birthday.
The church, Miracle Arena for All Nations in Toronto, Canada founded in 2011 by Dr. Kofi Danso and wife Rev. Joanne Danso. On his birthday in Febuary 2016, the church presented the private jet to Dr. Danso and his wife for their passion and charisma towards the work of God.
Prophet Dr. Danso noted that he had prophesied that God was going to bless him with a jet this year on his birthday and so was not too surprised when the church bought him one.
Prophet Danso said it feels good to have a private jet because it will ease his travels, adding that it will also help reach more souls with the word of God.He also noted it was a necessity not a luxury .
“Every church should do this for their pastors if they can. The more we help pastors to reach one continent or the other we help fulfill the gospel,”

The school premises of University of Port Harcourt, was shut indefinitely following the death of two students killed during a violent protest by students over the increment of fees and levies by the school.
To avoid any further deaths and chaos, the school’s management had no choice but to close down the institution and order all the students and staff to vacate the premises till further notice.
To this effect, the management ordered soldiers to chase out all students found in hostels and classrooms before 6pm yesterday. People who were still found in the school premises by the time it was 6pm, were whipped and lashed like animals until they packed up and scrammed!

The police at the Maroko Division, Lekki, Lagos, have arraigned a truck driver, Yohanna Amos, 32 and his conductor, Baba Muibi, 25 before a Lagos magistrates’ court, for allegedly assaulting five Vehicle Inspection Officers (VIO) who were on lawful duty by using wooden planks to beat them and inflict injuries all over their body and head.
The police identified the victims as Anjorin John Olufolahan, Idowu Femi, Onanuga Adeleye Sunday, Sifawu Timirisiya and Tijani Rasak.
Police prosecutor, Sgt Nicolas Akpene informed the court that the accused persons committed the offence on 29 March, 2016 along Ligali Ayorinde Street, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Akpene told the court presided over by Magistrate, Mr P.A Adekomaiya, that the injured VIO officers stopped a truck with registration number, FKJ 402 XS driven by the first accused and demanded for his driving licence and vehicle papers but instead of the accused to obey and produce the documents he and his conductor descended on the officers with wooden planks and inflicted serious injuries on them for daring to ask them to produce vehicle documents.
The accused persons pleaded not guilty to the police allegations and magistrate Adekomaiya admitted them to bail in the sum of N20,000 each with one surety each in like sum.

Teenager Killed By Train After Posing For Selfie By Rail Track. (Photos)
A teenage girl has died after being hit by a train while taking a selfie just inches from a railway track.
Photos from the scene show the girl just seconds before the train hit her – after allegedly ignoring warnings from other tourists to move back.
The unnamed 19-year-old can be seen in photos of the scene in Foshan, a city in South China’s Guangdong Province, as she holds out her mobile phone in front of herself to take the perfect selfie.
Dressed in a white top and blue skirt, the victim, however, took her picture project one step further by straying too close to the railway tracks, and on more than one occasion let blaring locomotives pass near her until she was finally struck by a freight train.
As can be seen from the photograph, the girl’s lifeless body was flung to one side of the tracks following the fatal accident.
Reports citing witnesses said that bystanders had actively asked the girl to keep a safe distance from the tracks. But the victim had reportedly ignored all warnings.
