General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor E.A. Adeboye has reportedly purchased a brand New G550 Luxury Gulfstream Jet for himself worth $65million
The new jet is said to have been purchased in May 2015 and According to Sahara Reporters, the pastor also floated a new luxury jet company, Emmanuel Aviation. The G550 jet was made in Georgia and is far newer than the one purchased by Prophet TB Joshua months earlier.
The older Gulfstream GIV owned by the pastor has been jettisoned following the arrival of the new one.
Pastor Adeboye becomes the second Nigerian pastor to start a private airline in the country after Bishop David Oyedepo.
Nigerian prosperity pastors have emerged as some of the wealthiest preachers in the world, but their luxury lifestyles are at variance with the squalor and poverty of most members of their churches.
Below is a Report By SahaReporters:
“Pastor Adeboye’s Gulfstream G550 luxury jet was manufactured in Savannah, Georgia State in the US. The jet, which was made in 2013 is far newer than the one bought by Pastor TB Joshua. Pastor Adeboye took delivery of his brand new jet in May 2015.
We learned that, with the arrival of the US-registered jet, N730EA Gulfstream G550, Pastor Adeboye has jettisoned an older Gulfstream GIV with tail number N707EA that used to ferry him around the world on his preaching missions.
Our sources said the leader of the Redeemed Church personally owns Emmanuel Aviation to which the two jets are registered both in the US and Nigeria.
According to reports, Lil Wayne & Christina Milian have called it quits after a year of dating.
It looks like Christina Milan &Lil Waynehave officially called it quits. According toET, the two broke up at the end of August after a year of dating.
The break up comes as a bit of a shock as their relationship didn’t appear to have any issues from the public eye. In fact, some would think the relationship was going great considering the way they talked about each other in interviews, and the several collaborations they worked on together, including the yet-to-be-heard record “Do It,” which was debuted on stage at last month’s Billboard 100 festival in NYC.
Back in May, Christina even got a “love hard…TnT” tattoo, which stands for Tina & Tunechi. I’m sure she’s regretting that one right about now.
Flavour took to instagram to share the picture with the caption “@patoranking #Thankful”. Wow Just look at the both of them now! a lot has changed!! This throwback should inspire somebody
Founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), Prophet Temitope Joshua, has reportedly made himself part of the esteemed Nigerian men of God who own their own Private Jet.
According to SaharaReporters, the church leader took possession of the nearly brand-new Gulfstream G550 aircraft in April 2015, few months after a building collapse at the premises of his megachurch in the Ikotun-Egbe suburb of Lagos killed 116 people.
Registered as “Synagogue Of Nations,” the jet was purchased using the Bank Of Utah trustee as the front for purchasing the jet.
Pastor TB Joshua’s jet is the most expensive of the four owned by Nigerian pastors.
The jet, which has US registration number N131LK, was built in 2010. It was delivered to its first user in 2013 before making it to TB Joshua early this year. It was learned that the jet made a voyage to Nigeria in December 2013, as the Bank of Utah was apparently pitching it to Pastor TB Joshua.
The man of God reportedly asked to see it and bless it before finally taking delivery. It could cost up to $3 million to maintain the jet annually, depending on how heavily it is used.
Sources at the church told the publication that Pastor Joshua claims the jet was paid for by at least eight African Heads of State in 2014. It was first kept in Israel before the tragic church collapse in September in which 116 persons, mostly South Africans, were killed.
When SaharaReporters reached Pastor Joshua, he denied owning a private jet. Instead, he said he frequently charters private jets because he travels extensively, noting, for instance, that he has an oncoming trip to Argentina.
His claim runs contrary to information from the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), which claimed that N131LK is on record as belonging to Pastor TB Joshua through SCOAN.
“What the Bank of Utah does is to help non-US citizens act as agents to purchase aircraft using US financing,” a source at NCAA told the publication.
The source recalled that the same bank was also instrumental to purchasing jets from Bombardier on behalf of the government of Rivers State under Governor Rotimi Amaechi, and Akwa Ibom under Godswill Akpabio.

Legendary RnB singer, 2face Idibia recently had a chat with NET.
In the interview, the singer revealed that he was scared of getting married while his fears included being unfaithful to his wife, Annie Idibia.
“I’m not surprised. Honestly, I mean back in the day it had come across my mind one or two times to propose to her but somehow it got to this point where I was like I’m not going to get married. Even before I started having kids I had already said I’m not going to get married.” said the father of 7.
The singer also added “Before then there’s been one or two times where I almost proposed to Annie. But I just said no no no because I just thought I wasn’t going to be faithful, I wasn’t going to be good enough. The publication of the Biography of the living Legend, songwriter and performer Innocent 2Face Idibia was announced by NET NewPaper Nigeria Limited, Owners of THENETNG, Newsroom and NECLive.
‘A Very Good Bad guy: The Story Of Innocent 2Face Idibia’ is first of its kind for a Nigerian pop artiste and indeed, for a contemporary Nigerian musician. The project, done in commemoration of the musician’s 40th birthday, is part of the NET book series, which kicked off in April 2015.
The book’s presentation is planned to coincide with Idibia’s 40th birthday celebrations. He clocks 40 on September 18, 2015
Idibia’s biography, edited by NET publisher and 2face’s former publicist Ayeni Adekunle Samuel, is titled ‘A Very Good Bad guy: The Story Of Innocent 2Face Idibia.’
The book contains a detailed interview with 2face, lyrics and discography, views from some of those who have shaped his life and career, an insider’s journey through his life and times, as well as a collection of some of the most important articles, reviews, features and news about him since 2004.
Ayeni Adekunle Samuel, speaking about A Very Good Bad Guy commented, ‘Apart from being a fantastic musician and a wonderful person, 2Face is also a personal friend and source of inspiration; so few things give me as much joy as being able to give this gentleman some of the recognition he deserves on the occasion of his 40th birthday. These are important projects Nigeria must do for our cultural posterity. We must tell our stories and document our history. NET is delighted to compile the life stories of this cultural icon of our times so that our children and our children’s children can read it and learn. And this is the first of many to come’.
A Very Good Bad Guy: The Story of Innocent 2Face Idibia is the second in the NET Books series after the Chris Ihidero collection, Wanderings of a Rapidly Degenerating Mind.
NET has been instrumental in the growth and development of the Nigerian entertainment industry through the organisation of the annual Nigerian Entertainment Conference (NECLive) which brings together all entertainment industry stakeholders to discuss mutual challenges and achievements and to set agenda for the year ahead.
Speaking about the book, 2Face himself says ‘It’s a really good feeling knowing that all these years that I’ve been surviving in this industry, someone has been taking note you know…compiling my story so that on an occasion like this, they will release it for the world to see. I’m really feeling the love but importantly I hope those coming behind will read and learn from my story.’
Born in Jos, Plateau State, 2Face Idibia was raised in Makurdi, Benue State where he attended Demonstration Primary School and Saint Gabriel’s secondary school. After a stint at the Institute of Management & Technology (IMT) Enugu, he dropped out to pursue a music career in Lagos in 1997.
In the same year, he teamed up with Ahmedu Augustine Obiabo aka Blackface to form Plantashun Boyz, which was later joined by Chibuzor Orji aka Faze. After achieving success with the band, 2Face left Plantashun Boyz in 2004 to embark on a successful solo career which has spawned six critically acclaimed studio albums and several local and international awards.
Scores of angry workers of La Casera Company Plc staged a protest, on Monday, in Lagos after about 700 workers received their sack letters, the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reported.
The workers said they are protesting because the company’s management responded to their efforts at unionism by firing all of them.
The company, however, described the protest as an invasion of its premises by ‘hoodlums.’
NAN reported that the crisis began after the workers arrived at the company premises in Amuwo Odofin Industrial Estate, Mile 2, Lagos, and found the gate locked against them and a notice of disengagement pasted at the entrance.
The notice, dated September 14 and addressed to all members of staff, stated that “as a result of the unwarranted breaking-in and invasion of our business premises on September 11, we cannot guarantee the well-being of our employees from hired hoodlums and their collaborators.
Aggrieved Worker
“As a result of this unprovoked act of vandalism, we are unable to continue operations under this circumstance. Unfortunately, we regret to inform all our staff of their immediate disengagement.”
The workers, under the aegis of the National Union of Food, Beverage and Tobacco Employees (NUFBTE), condemned the act, noting that some of them had worked for between five and 15 years.
Mr Mike Olarenwaju, Head of Education Department in NUFBTE, who spoke for the workers, said that for 12 years, the company denied workers the right to be unionised.
Olarenwaju said that when an in-house union was about to be inaugurated, the management of the company sacked the chairman, which made the NUFBTE officials to visit the company on Friday, September 11 to address the workers.
“We were surprised today that the company locked the gate and sacked the workers. Meanwhile, the case between the workers and the company over unionisation is currently at the National Industrial Court,” he said.
Olanrewaju urged the government to intervene in issues of unfair labour practices being perpetrated by foreign companies.
He said that until the workers were re-absorbed, the union would continue to picket the company.
Mr Idowu Adelakun, the state Chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), told NAN that the act of calling labour officials hoodlums was wrong and vowed that labour would not allow the company to function until the matter was resolved.
Lacasera is a beverage company owned by Indians which started operations in Nigeria in 2000.
When contacted, the Human Resources Manager of the company, identified as Chief Otemewo, told NAN on phone that he was not aware of the crisis and promised to call back when he obtained details of the sack. (NAN)
“Love and loyalty; two strong themes that form the foundation of any true and lasting love melt into one in this mid-tempo ballad “GBORIDURO” by singer, rapper REMINISCE.
REMINISCE, who himself has been with the same woman for 13 years, pleads with his ladylove to stay, to persevere, to stick with him through thick and thin, to tell how smitten he is by the object of his affection.
While taunting their detractors to “go and call police” Reminisce promises to do whatever it takes to make her happy, but admonishes that if she betrays him, she would have cause to regret.
Gboriduro is the tale of a man who is not ashamed to show off the woman who has shown dedication to him through the tough times, and teaches the listener that in love and in relationships #LoyaltyWins.
The brothers and sisters of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria under the Leadership of Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky witnessed the reverting to Islam of a 16 year old girl.
The girl was formerly a Christian and went to the venue where they were holding a program in Abuja and expressed her interest to convert to Islam.
In an Interviewed with Pointer Express correspondent in Abuja shortly after her conversion to Islam Ifesinachi Anih said her decision was in line with her belief and conviction in Islam as the true religion of Almighty Allah SWT and the only way mankind will get salvation.
Ifesinachi who is SS2 student of Apo Resettlement Secondary School in Apo District of Abuja, hails from Okano local Government of Enugu State in Eastern Nigeria, she explained that she notified her parent the intention of conversion to Islam but they disagreed with her later on she made up her mind to choose the true religion.
On that faithful day around 9:00 o’clock in the morning the lady took a taxi from Apo and proceeded to National Mosque via Area 1, and along the road she saw two Muslim Sisters in their Islamic attire(HIJAB).
The driver carrying her stopped and introduced her to the Sisters; so they went together to the venue of aThanks Giving program in honor of Hurras (Guards ) of the Islamic Movement Abuja Zone, who, became second during parade competition that took place in Zaria three month ago.
The lady has chosen Amatullahi as her new Islamic name and appealed to other Muslims faithful to remain committed to the services of Islam in order to benefit from Allah’s blessing.
Mal Abubakar Abu-Sumayyah the Amir of Abuja who supervised the conversion to Islam has expressed his highest gratitude to Almighty Allah SWT for making the process easier and prayed for the protection of her faith.
I thank God I found Dabota. I love her so badly. She plays the role of a wife to me. She is also like a girlfriend in that she knows how to spice up our marriage. She makes me feel young. She is my all in all. That’s why I spoil her silly. Most of the time she appears more matured than I am. She is always advising me. That is why I consult her on every step I take. She encourages me.
She is like the blood tonic to me and my business. Very soon the world will see the multi-billion business I will dedicate to her. She is always advising me. She once told me something I found very very deep and very philosophical. She said your mother and father will leave you and die. Your brother and sister will leave you and move on. Your children will leave you and marry but your wife will not. She will grow old with you. The good thing is that she is also in love with me. As an international businessman, I have come to see that this is true. History has shown this to me. She likens marriage to business. It will have its ups and downs”
A 21 year old Tabitha Adamu, who is one of the women freed from the Boko Haram sect’s camp and handed over to the Borno State Government last week, revealed that the Chibok girls had turned to Boko Haram fighters.
Tabitha, who is expectant for one of the sect’s commanders who forcibly married her, said she mingled with the girls at various times in the sect’s camp.
According to Tabitha, she was taken from Bayan Dutse in Gwoza Local Government Area, when the insurgents invaded her village.
She said:
“They killed my father and brother. They took me along with my mother but at some point we were separated. Since then, I’ve not set my eyes on my mother. When he (Abu Kabir, my Boko Haram husband), wanted to marry me, he gave the women who were taking care of us N5,000 as my bride price.
“Before the marriage, I was asked to convert to Islam. I did so because many who refused were killed and they gave me a name (Samira). I answered the name but I know my true name is my real name. When we were rescued I told the soldiers that my name is Tabitha.
“They asked me if I am one of the wives of the Boko Haram and I told them my story. They felt for me and they treated me well.
“Many people asked me since we were liberated, particularly about the pregnancy. I don’t know the right answer to give because I actually do not know what to do. It has happened. I don’t know what the authorities would do about it but I think it is too late to abort it. But my prayer is that I give birth safely.”
In what seems to be a very early morning snapshot, “Megbele” crooner, Omawumi Megbele, who put to be d few months ago shared this hot photo of her post baby bod.
I wonder what it is women do these days to get rid of their pregnancy body so quickly! Hmph.
