Nollywood actress, Amarachi Igidimba has shared her bitter experience with some street urchins she offered to transform their lives.
Taking to her Instagram page, the actress disclosed that she helped them with money, new clothes, registered one of them in a mechanic shop to learn a skill while she gave the others capital to start a pure water business.
However, she received a rude shock when they all threw caution to the wind and returned back to the street to continue their evil ways.
Amarachi who was pained by the incident shared a video of the young boys and wrote,
“I made this video since June 13th but decided not to post but leave them to God, I have been getting a couple of dms of people wanting to know their progress, but I ignored those dms to avoid long story until someone wrote me saying ‘Watsup with those boys ? this one we haven’t seen update or have you abandoned them like you celebrities promise and don’t fulfil’ , so I thought it’s time I did this , the one on a clean hair cut is the one that made me register him as apprentice at a mechanic workshop ,I don’t want to mention how much I spent’, I gave him money to clean up , feeding money , and also asked my sister to go buy him new clothes, the 2nd day after his resumption I went to check on him at the workshop and was told he didn’t come, so I drove to interbua (the spot I met them ) to look for him , he saw me and tried hiding but I already saw him only for me to hear from one of them later that he said he wanted to go to Benin and learn ‘yahoo’ that he wasn’t interested in being a mechanic, a job he made me waste my time and money on then 3 people out of the 5 that I gave rubber and money to start pure water business already abandoned everything and ran away to Benin to continue their street life because I threatened to arrest them if I saw them loitering about the street again after trying to set them up , the remaining 2 that are in this video said police ceased their rubber.
I went to confront the police why they would do that and was told that they tried mo*esting/r*ping a girl and that was why their things were taken from them including the slippers I bought for them , as punishment , all this and more unprintable tales the police told me about this boys in front of them and they didn’t deny it. There and then the tall one on black shirt begged me to take him home to his parents that he hasn’t been home in 3yrs and he is tired of street.
The police warned me against involving myself further but my good heart was still willing to help , so I invited him to my office , gave him water and soap to bath then gave him money to go cut his hair , At least not go home after 3yrs smelling and looking like a mad man , we agreed he waits for me at interbua to pick him up in another 1hr ,I got there he wasn’t there, that was the last time I saw him till today ….. Exactly as people warned me about ,this boys did , I do not regret helping but I have learnt that not everybody that looks NEEDY is IN NEED 📌”

Residents of the Nko community in Yakurr local government area in Cross River State accused Nigerian soldiers of committing crimes against humanity in their community.
According to reports, soldiers had been deployed to the community on peacekeeping, following a clash with Oyadama, a neighbouring community.
However, residents say that the soldiers broke into their homes and shops, and started shooting sporadically, killing people.
The soldiers also allegedly burnt people’s houses. The military operation which began on Saturday evening, June 25, resulted in deaths and displacement, locals claim.
A particular lady who lost her dad, took to Twitter to lament on the situation and in crying out, “judged God” for letting her father die in the chaos.
According to her, while she was in church dancing on Sunday, June 26 which was her dad’s birthday, her father was allegedly being burnt to death in his house by Nigerian soldiers.
In a series of tweets she shared, she stated that her mother managed to escape and is now hiding in the bush with other community members.
Some other affected locals have also gone on Twitter to demand justice while narrating the loss they have suffered.

Teenage boys protest after being bounced from a club in Lagos (video)
A viral video has captured a group of teenage boys venting their complaints after being bounced from a popular club in Lagos.
The young boys can be seen recounting their experience in the viral clip, as they narrate being denied entry into the club located in Victoria Island, Lagos State.
They stated that they were denied entry into the facility after coming all the way from their homes to have a fun time due to their ages.
Speaking further, they bragged that they had been to other clubs in the past where they were allowed in and had a wonderful time with other funseekers.
The adolescents, who believed they had been unfairly treated, bragged about being so rich that they could afford to pay the salaries of employees at the club.

Man regains his freedom after spending 11 years and 7 months awaiting trial at Ikoyi Prison
A Nigerian man simply identified as Godswill has regained his freedom after spending 11 years and seven months in the Ikoyi prison awaiting trial.
A Non-Government Organization identified as Headfort Foundation, which secured his release said Godswill was arrested in November 2010 in Ajegunle where he had gone to pay a visit to his grandparents.
Godswill’s arrest saw him spend 11 years and seven months in Ikoyi Prison after he was falsely charged for the offence of Armed Robbery.

GODSWILL REGAINS FREEDOM AFTER AWAITING TRIAL FOR 11 YEARS AND 7 MONTHS.
Godswill was a welder who lived at Ikorodu, Lagos State.
Sometime in November 2010, he went to pay a visit to his parents at Ajegunle, on his way back to Ikorodu, he was accosted by two men who claimed to be Police Officers. They requested to search him, but he refused as there was nothing to show that they were police officers. They got angry at Godswill’s refusal and immediately began to beat him up and he was thereafter arrested at Ajeromi Police Station.
Godswill remained at the station for 2 months without being charged to court for any crime.
In January 2011, he was charged to a Magistrate Court for the offence of Armed robbery and his case was at the Magistrate Court for 2 years awaiting DPP advice.
In 2013, the Advice from the office of Directorate of public prosecutions came out instructing that Godswill be charged to a higher court. In January 2014, Godswill eventually appeared for the first time before a High Court.
Since 2014, the matter moved from one court to the other awaiting trial because he had no legal representation and could not afford one.
In June 2019, Godswill met our lawyer- @OluyemiOrija during a visit to the prison and his brief was taken.
Our lawyer applied for his bail and it was granted in November 2021. His family put in efforts for perfection of his bail but couldn’t complete it due to lack of funds.
In March 2022, our partner- @Abdu_SAandCo took over the case and filed an application for striking out. On the 22nd of June 2022, the Court granted the application and discharged Godswill.

Teacher who got impregnated by her student reveals she is keeping the baby
A history teacher who turned to an OnlyFans star revealed that she’s pregnant with a former student’s baby after a drunken one-night stand and she’s keeping the baby.
The lady, identified as Amy Kupps talked about her surprise pregnancy on Tuesday, June 28, stating that the baby is due towards the end of this year.

Nigerian rapper, Erhiga Agarivbie, better known as Erigga, has reacted to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission’s (EFCC) 15-year jail term penalty for landlords who rent houses to internet fraudsters, popularly called “Yahoo Boys.”
The anti-graft agency recently warned that landlords who rent their houses to yahoo boys risk 15 years of imprisonment.
“Okay now! what a juicy topic E go sweet wella. Landlords way yahoo-boy dey stay him house, my people na 15 years imprisonment for the landlord o! E don set!”, a post on EFCC’s official Instagram page reads.

Tinubu’s running mate, Kabiru Masari has revealed that his original certificates are missing.
Masari in documents submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) , deposed to an affidavit on the loss of his primary and secondary schools certificates.
This is coming amid controversy over Presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu’s primary and secondary school certificates
In the sworn affidavit for ‘Loss of Some Original Documents’ obtained from Divisional Police Headquarter, Wuse Zone 3, Abuja attached to the particulars he submitted to INEC, Masari said that in January 2021, while on transit within Wuse, Area FCT, Abuja, he lost his Certificate of Grade 2 Certificate from Katsina Teachers College and First Leaving Primary School Certificate issued by Masari Primary School, Katsina State, (1972-78).
The affidavit read;
“Ibrahim Kabiru Masari, male, Muslim, Nigerian citizen of Abubakar Rimi Crescent, National Assembly Quarters, Apo, FCT– Abuja, declare an oath and state as follows:
“That I am the above-named persons and bonafide owner of the under-listed documents. That sometimes in January 2021, while on transit within Wuse Area, FCT– Abuja, I discovered that my original Certificate of Occupancy of plot NoKT 17522, GRA Katsina Estate; Certificate of Kaduna State Development Centre from 1994-95; Grade 11 Certificate from Katsina Teachers College from 1979-83 and First Leaving School Certificate issued by Masari Primary School Katsina State from 1972-78 got lost. That all efforts made to trace the documents proved abortive hence this affidavit. That this affidavit is required for record purpose and for all authorities and persons concerned to take note.”

Netizens have dragged controversial Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, to filth over his comment on actress Chacha Eke Faani’s split from her husband.
The actress and mother of four announced the dissolution of her marriage on social media on Tuesday, June 28, stating that she’s done pretending.
Meanwhile, this is not the first time she has come out to announce the end of her marriage to movie producer Austin Faani. In October 2020, she shared a video announcing the end of her marriage on grounds of domestic violence.
A few days after the announcement, ChaCha made a U-turn and debunked the domestic violence claim in a video, stating that her husband has never beat her nor ever raised his voice at her.
She claimed she didn’t mean it and was suffering from bipolar disorder due to her pregnancy.
However, on Tuesday morning, via her verified Instagram page, she asserted that this time she’s done with the marriage while emphasizing that it’s better to leave than to die.
Actor Yul Edochie, who recently married a second wife after 17 years of marriage to his first, left some words of prayer for the actress, asking God to guide her in the decisions she makes during this time.
His innocuous remark, however, did not sit well with social media users, who did not hesitate to tear him apart.

Self styled relationship expert, Blessing Okoro has taken to social media to flaunt her newly enhanced backside after going under the knife.
It can be recalled that few days ago, Blessing announced that she has undergone a liposuction surgery to achieve her dream body.
Her announcement was met with mixed reactions from netizens as they opined that she was chasing clout as usual and didn’t undergo the procedure.

Popular actress, Chacha Eke-Faani has unfollowed her husband, Austin Faani, on Instagram barely 24 hours after announcing their split.
It would be recalled that the mother of four took to her Instagram page on Tuesday morning, June 28, to announce the dissolution of their marriage while stating that she’s done pretending.
She also stated that it’s better she leaves the marriage alive than leave as a corpse.
Chacha wrote,
“NOW ALIVE OR LEAVE AS A CORPSE
Many have died pretending all is well whilst wishing, hoping and praying for a better tomorrow.
I don’t want to “die” or go inexplicably “missing”.
I sincerely and publicly apologize for living a lie these past years.True to random speculations, there has been trouble in my “perceived paradise”.
For the 2nd time in 2years, I am here again on social media boldly declaring that I am done with my marriage. My long overdue/relentless stance on this is of course no news to Austin Faani, the doctors and my parents.
If push comes to shove & suddenly i am incommunicado; my lawyers, the welfare department and the Nigerian police force have my testimonials in recorded video clips/statements set for public release on all social media apps and national newspapers.

87-year-old man buys a new coffin for his ‘future’ burial, says the two he bought earlier are now old-fashioned
An 87-year-old man from Busia, Kenya, has bought a new coffin for his “future” burial ceremony, his third since 2009.
The octogenarian identified as Aloise Otieng Ng’ombe is said to have bought a coffin in 2009, another in 2012, and a new one in 2022, all in preparation for his future funeral.
Aloise recently bought a new coffin worth Ksh58,000 for his burial because, in his opinion, the two he had previously acquired are now outdated models, K2TV reports.
According to the father of 18, the new coffin, which is currently being stored at his shop in the Obekai area, will serve as his future coffin since the previous coffins are now old-fashioned.
Speaking on why he’s making preparations for his ‘future funeral’, he said,
“I want this to be a lesson to my community at large. You may lack basic needs when you are alive. But when you die, people will slaughter bulls, and buy you nice clothes and shoes yet you will be long gone. That is why I decided to plan for a send-off befitting my status in society.”
In related news, a while ago, popular Kenyan music artiste, Philip Ptaroba Okoyo, better known by stage name, Japesa, took quite a number of his fans by surprise after he purchased a coffin in anticipation of his funeral.
The quite extravagant music artiste took to his Instagram page on Saturday, March 27, to share a photo of himself posing with the casket and revealed that he didn’t want his fans to “struggle with funeral expenses”.

A Nigerian man has vowed not to worship at Catholic Church again until Father Mbaka is recalled and his church – Adoration Ministry – is reopened.
It would be recalled that the Catholic Priest was sanctioned over a comment he made about the Presidential Flagbearer of Labour Party, Peter Obi.
While preaching to his congregation, the cleric had said Peter Obi is too stingy and unfit to be the next President of Nigeria.
Following the statement, the Catholic Bishop of Enugu Diocese, Calistus Onaga, told him to embark on a one-month retreat.
His church, Adoration Ministry, was also shut down pending when he returns from the retreat.
Reacting to the development, a Nigerian man identified as Akanchawa Orba, took to Facebook to state that he would not attend Catholic Church again until Father Mbaka is called back.
“I will not worship at Catholic Church again until Rev fr mbaka is called back and adoration ministry is reopened” he wrote on Tuesday, June 28.

Popular Nigerian dancer and entertainer, Iweh Pascal better known as Poco Lee, was reported to have splashed millions of naira on a brand new whip – a Mercedes Benz GLE 63s.
According to a post on a Twitter that had his identity, it was disclosed that he had joined the league of celebrities who own a Mercedes Benz.
The 25-year-old has now come out to debunk that story and also inform the general public that the account from whence the tweet came is a catfish account.

Only days after controversial Nigerian singer Portable vowed to stop spraying money at fans and instead become more charitable to the less privileged who truly need the money, he paid a visit to a new mother who had just given birth to a set of twins and offered her financial assistance.
It would be recalled that the singer recently warned his fans not to chase after his car whenever they see him drive by.
Portable, who drives a white Range Rover and is known for spraying money at passersby, took to his Instagram page to read his riot act on Sunday, June 28.
He advised his fans to go and hustle to make their own money because, as from Sunday, he would stop spraying money or giving out money to people.
According to him, he would rather give money to the needy, widows, and children in his village than to his fans, whom he referred to as “thieves” and “wicked souls.”

Bobrisky reacts after caterer allegedly called him out over cost of housewarming cake
Crossdresser, Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has reacted after he was allegedly called out by a caterer over the cost of his gigantic housewarming cake and reportedly defaulted on payment.
Bobrisky recently held a grand housewarming party to celebrate the completion of his N400 million mansion in Lekki, Lagos state.The exquisite party, which was held on June 19, 2022, was the talk of the town as there was more than enough to eat.
Another highlight of the event that caused a buzz online was the giant five-tier cake at the party that cost a whopping two million naira.
Sharing photos and videos of the giant cake, Bobrisky disclosed he spent N2 million on the cake.
Well, Bobrisky has now been called out by popular Instagram blogger, gistlover, who alleged that the cake cost seventy-five thousand naira (N75,0000) only, as opposed to the N2 million that Bobrisky claimed it cost.
The blogger also alleged that the caterer had called Bobrisky out for reportedly refusing to pay.
Reacting to the allegations, Bobrisky took to the comments of Gislover’s post to reiterate that he paid millions for the cake, while urging his fans to disregard the blogger’s claims as false.
