Crossdresser, Bobrisky’s former Personal Assistant, Oye Kyme, has taken to social media to lament the decisions she has made in the past that ‘destroyed her life’ in her quest for fame and wealth.
The Ivorian, who came into limelight in 2021 after she inked a tattoo of controversial crossdresser, Bobrisky, admits that her time with the male Barbie was a terrible choice that almost cost her life.
Recall that Oye became an internet sensation, especially in the Nigerian web space, when Bobrisky flew her to Nigeria and promised to change her life for the better for being a staunch fan and going through the pain of getting his full name tattooed on her arm.
Shortly after, the duo parted ways following a heated argument about Oye Kyme’s allegations that Bob had physically abused her during her three-month stay with the socialite.
“Am done have been hiding for so long now am showing your real face to the world wicked human being that lier have been with for 3month supporting you in your lie trying to accept you the way you are wicked man lier!#”, She had stated, in part.
Meanwhile, in May 2022, the brand influencer delved into the adult film industry and released a debut video on a popular porn website.
Well, it may seem as though Oye has now turned a new leaf, as she took to social media moments ago to advise her fans and followers to be content with what they have and be proud of where they come from.
In a touching video she shared online, she admitted that in her pursuit to become a celebrity, she did many things for clout, and her life has not remained the same ever since.
She, however, noted that she’s grateful for life and believes she can make a change for her future.
In her words,
“My messages in this video is to be content with what you have in life, be proud of where you come from. I wanted to be a celeb so bad, chase clout. I almost lost my life chasing this stupid clout. Today my life is no more the same…Sometimes I sit down and see how I destroyed my life by taking stupid decision because of the love of money, but am still grateful for my life I can still make a change for my future.”
Netizens have dragged controversial Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, to filth over his comment on actress Chacha Eke Faani’s split from her husband.
The actress and mother of four announced the dissolution of her marriage on social media on Tuesday, June 28, stating that she’s done pretending.
Meanwhile, this is not the first time she has come out to announce the end of her marriage to movie producer Austin Faani. In October 2020, she shared a video announcing the end of her marriage on grounds of domestic violence.
A few days after the announcement, ChaCha made a U-turn and debunked the domestic violence claim in a video, stating that her husband has never beat her nor ever raised his voice at her.
She claimed she didn’t mean it and was suffering from bipolar disorder due to her pregnancy.
However, on Tuesday morning, via her verified Instagram page, she asserted that this time she’s done with the marriage while emphasizing that it’s better to leave than to die.
Actor Yul Edochie, who recently married a second wife after 17 years of marriage to his first, left some words of prayer for the actress, asking God to guide her in the decisions she makes during this time.

Many have died pretending all is well whilst wishing, hoping and praying for a better tomorrow.
I don’t want to “die” or go inexplicably “missing”.
I sincerely and publicly apologize for living a lie these past years.True to random speculations, there has been trouble in my “perceived paradise”.
For the 2nd time in 2years, I am here again on social media boldly declaring that I am done with my marriage. My long overdue/relentless stance on this is of course no news to Austin Faani, the doctors and my parents.
If push comes to shove & suddenly i am incommunicado; my lawyers, the welfare department and the Nigerian police force have my testimonials in recorded video clips/statements set for public release on all social media apps and national newspapers.
Ps: old photo.”
Following the announcement, Chacha took it a step further by unfollowing her estranged husband on the photo-sharing platform and deleted all their pictures and videos from her page.
Meanwhile, Austin is yet to respond to his wife’s post and is still following her on Instagram.
An 87-year-old man from Busia, Kenya, has bought a new coffin for his “future” burial ceremony, his third since 2009.
The octogenarian identified as Aloise Otieng Ng’ombe is said to have bought a coffin in 2009, another in 2012, and a new one in 2022, all in preparation for his future funeral.
Aloise recently bought a new coffin worth Ksh58,000 for his burial because, in his opinion, the two he had previously acquired are now outdated models, K2TV reports.
According to the father of 18, the new coffin, which is currently being stored at his shop in the Obekai area, will serve as his future coffin since the previous coffins are now old-fashioned.
Speaking on why he’s making preparations for his ‘future funeral’, he said,
“I want this to be a lesson to my community at large. You may lack basic needs when you are alive. But when you die, people will slaughter bulls, and buy you nice clothes and shoes yet you will be long gone. That is why I decided to plan for a send-off befitting my status in society.”

It would be recalled that the singer recently warned his fans not to chase after his car whenever they see him drive by.

“Yes ooo! Exactly what I am to him, his 2nd mama after his beautiful mother.” she wrote.

A Nigerian lawyer has narrated how a couple who decided to end their marriage after ten years of marriage maintained sexual relations through the process of their divorce and even after it was finalized.
The legal practitioner, @O_ssai, who shared his encounter with the ‘bizarre’ couple on Twitter, declared that it is difficult to understand humans.
According to him, while one would expect the couple to be estranged since they were getting a divorce, they kept going on dates and copulating all through their divorce proceedings.
“I don’t understand the human race at all….. a couple decided to divorce after 10yrs of marriage, during their separation they were having sex, going on date, all through divorce proceedings and even after finalising, they kept having sex. I no come understand the matter.” The Twitter user wrote.
The tweet, however, elicited varying reactions on the micro-blogging platform. Tweeps opined that it’s possible the couple enjoy each other’s company but are not compatible in marriage.
A Twitter user @osarah793 wrote, “Conclusion: The real deal they’re sexually compatable, definitely not marriage.”
Another tweep @freshamor wrote,
“You all don’t understand what commitment means, sometimes it’s hard living with someone at a point you get tired of each other when there’s no understanding. it doesn’t define every other thing that follows. They can still have sex or do whatever they like but they can’t just be together. Marriage is like forever race and it’s not an easy thing. Marriage is on it own and love is another different thing likewise every other thing that goes with it even parenting it separates from marriage. So when you’re getting married know what you are actually looking for.”
@gmgolowo_comedyskit, “They’re s#xually Fit, but maritally not fit”.
Popular Nollywood actor,Yul Edochie has taken to social media to reveal that some people are wishing death on his family.

Veteran Nollywood actress, Rita Dominic, has opined that those who constantly seek the validation of others are insecure.

In related news, popular Nigerian singer and mother of one, Simi, has advised her fans and followers on the importance of self love.
Simi who was recently under fire on social media over a recent photo she shared on her Instagram page, in a lengthy write-up via her Insta-stories advised against seeking social media validation.
“Yo LOVE YOURSELF as you are!! Its great to do things for yourself that you want… But the moment you become consumed with looking or presenting yourself a certain way, so people that honestly, truly don’t care about you on social media can tell you you’re popping -it’s only downhill from there.
Because you’ll keep on giving up parts of your true self until there’s nothing left. Its human nature. Please, I beg you. Let the most vulnerable version of you be enough. LOVE YOURSELF. VALIDATE YOURSELF. because you’re enough. You will always be enough.
Nothing wrong with doing something that makes you happy, just make sure it’s your approval you care about – not random peoples’.
I’m actually super concerned that young girls will have to work harder for a healthy self esteem. Because they’ll be trying to live up to a standard that does not exist.
maybe today post a picture of yourself you think is too ‘basic’ for social media. Post a pic of yourself without a filter if you haven’t in a long time. If not today, then tomorrow or the day after. Without filter and make up, it’s funny how similar we are.” She wrote.
Former President of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo, has been given 48 hours by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to clarify a recent comment he made about regretting choosing Atiku Abubakar as his vice-presidential candidate in 1999.
The former president, at an event that was held at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL), Abeokuta, Ogun State, over the weekend, stated that one of the mistakes he made in life was the choice of his “number two” when he wanted to become the nation’s president in 1999.
“One of the mistakes I made was picking my ‘number two’ when I wanted to become the president. But because it was a genuine mistake, God saved me.” He said in part.
However, addressing a news conference in Kaduna on Monday June 27, Chairman of the PDP Board of Trustee, Senator Walid Jibril said although the party has great respect for the former President, it would be disappointing if the statement credited to him, turned out to be true.
Jibril said if the former President fails to clarify the statements credited to him within 48 hours, the party will expose his character to Nigerians.
“I wish to appeal to former President Obasanjo to come out openly to repeat what he has said. Whether or not he was misquoted or meant what was credited to him.
“Although he has not debunked what was reported, one can assume that what was quoted to have been said by him is correct, but if he fails to openly come out and say which is correct in 48 hours, you will hear the bombardment and I will have no option but to break the egg and tell the whole world and Nigerians who is Obasanjo.
“There is no doubt Obasanjo may still be angry with Atiku even after helping him to succeed but perhaps for truncating his third term agenda. In any case, Alhaji Abubakar Atuku is our presidential candidate and I can tell you for sure that he will be the President in 2023 insha Allah”, Jibril said.
A Canadian man, Eric Coulan, has decided to end his life by assisted suicide after a long battle with a life-threatening health condition.
The 20-year-old former mechanic threw a farewell barbecue party on May 22 with close friends and family in attendance as he prepares to off himself.
Eric had been suffering from severe abdominal pain for the most part of his life but doctors were unable to diagnose him, and only said he had a blockage in his intestine.
It was gathered that he visited seven different hospitals in Canada but doctors couldn’t diagnose the cause of his ill health.
When he fell seriously ill in 2020, doctors had to carry out an emergency surgery on him to remove part of his lower intestine.
However, during the surgery they couldn’t find the blockage in his intestine and in the process, his intestine got ruptured causing sepsis.
His health condition continued to deteriorate after the surgery in 2020 and he has been carrying a colostomy bag everywhere he goes.
Doctors say his only chance of survival is to undergo six organ transplants which they have never tried before.
Following the prognosis, Eric has decided to use Canada’s Medical Assistance in Dying (MAID) law to end it all painlessly by taking drugs administered by a doctor.
Speaking to a local media outlet, he said,“There’ll be an end to suffering. I suffer all day long. I’ve been in a four walled room for a very long time and I’ve just had enough.”
A Nigerian woman has taken to Twitter to question why God blesses prostitutes with children while some virtuous women are childless.
According to @ulxma, some people claim women of easy virtue get pregnant easily as a punishment for their wayward lifestyle but she finds the logic weird because children are supposed to be a gift from God.
Uloma who seemed displeased with God, wondered why He watches some of His favorite woman struggle with getting pregnant when he distributes it freely amongst irresponsible women.
Read as she wrote below,
“You cannot say that babies are a gift from god while arguing that they are also the ‘punishment’ that whores get for not closing their legs. Why does god bless whores with babies while some of his favourite women who want them can’t get them? How can a blessing be a punishment?
And how can a punishment be a blessing? Why does your god choose to punish his least favourite women with babies while some of his loyal women pray and cry for them? What sort of game is he playing? Why does he reward the so-called irresponsible women with human responsibilities?”
According to the lady with handle, @_Kiksy, it’s only if a woman genuinely loves you that she can be kept and even if one is poor, the woman will still stay.

It may seem as though popular Nigerian singer Davido’s new found hobby is to tease his baby mama, Chioma Rowland, and it’s beautiful to see.
Only a few days after the ‘assurance’ crooner teased his ex-fiancée after she debuted her new look—a short blonde hairstyle—on social media, he has come for her again following a video she shared online.

The Nigerian female DJ who berated Nigerian men for not giving ladies transport fare after a date, has made a U-turn and apologized to them.
It would be recalled that in February, Ada caused a buzz on social media after saying she doesn’t like going out with Nigerian men because they don’t give her money after an outing.
In her defense, she said she spends a lot of money to prepare for a date as she has to purchase a befitting dress, pay a makeup artiste to do her makeup, and get a nice wig to complement her look.
She asserted that she expects men to request for her account number after all the stress and send her money but they rarely do that. ICYMI

Embattled Former Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, and his wife, Beatrice, have sued the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) and others following the controversy involving the real age of the kidney donor of their ailing daughter, David Nwamini Ukpo.
The Nigerian Politician and his Wife were arrested on June 21 and arraigned before the Uxbridge Magistrate court in the United Kingdom for alleged conspiracy to facilitate the travel of Ukpo, alleged to be a 15-year-old, for organ harvesting.
It was revealed that David had gone to the police to claim he was a 15 year old homeless boy brought from Lagos by the couple and that he was being treated like a slave in the UK.
In the lawsuit marked: FHC/ABJ/CS/984/2022, dated and filed June 27 by their counsel, Adegboyega Awomolo, SAN, before Justice Inyang Ekwo of a Federal High Court, Abuja, the Ekweremadus prayed the court for an order directing the NIMC to supply them with the Certified True Copy (CTC) of the biodata information of David Nwamini Ukpo. Others mentioned in the suit are the Comptroller General (C-G), Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS); Stanbic-IBTC Bank; United Bank of Africa (UBA) and Nigeria Inter-Bank Settlement System Plc as 2nd to 5th respondents respectively.
Awomolo said that the application was brought in pursuant to Order 3, Rule 1 of the Federal High Court Civil Procedure Rules 2019, Sections 6 and 36 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 (as amended) and under the inherent jurisdiction of the court.
The senior lawyer, who gave 20 grounds why the prayers should be granted, said the 1st applicant (Ike Ekweremadu) is a serving senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, representing Enugu West Senatorial District. According to him, the 2nd applicant (Beatrice) is a chartered accountant, civil servant and the wife of the 1st applicant.
“The applicants have a daughter named Sonia Ekweremadu, who is suffering from kidney failure and the applicants have been managing it for about five years. The said daughter of the applicants urgently needed kidney transplant to save her life.
David Nwamini Ukpo, offered to donate one of his kidneys for the daughter of the applicants if his kidney is compatible with that of Miss Sonia Ekweremadu.
David Nwamini Ukpo informed the applicants that he is Twenty One (21) years of age having being born In the year 2000.
The 1st applicant supported the visa application of David Nwamini Ukpo to the United Kingdom with a letter to the British High Commission in Nigeria, explaining the purpose of the visit i.e to enable him undergo medical examination in the United Kingdom so that the donor and Sonia Ekweremadu get the best of medical attention.
