Following the death of Davido and his fiancée, Chioma’s son, Ifeanyi Adeleke, the presidential aspirants of the three major political parties in Nigeria have taken to social media to sympathize with the couple.

Recall that the three-year-old passed away on Monday, October 31, after drowning in a swimming pool in the singer’s Banana Island home in Lagos.

Reacting to the tragic news, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu took to Twitter to send his condolences to the celebrity couple on behalf of himself and his wife, Remi Tinubi.

He wrote, “Oluremi and I send our heartfelt and deepest condolences to David, Chioma, and the entire Adeleke family over the tragic loss of their son, Ifeanyi. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. May the Lord grant them the fortitude and strength to deal with this painful tragedy.”

Peter Obi, a former governor of Anambra state and the Presidential Aspirant of Labour Party, on his part wrote,

“I send my sincere condolences to Davido and Chioma, over the death of their son Ifeanyi. I cannot begin to imagine the pains they are going through at the moment. May God grant them healing, strength and comfort in this trying time. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.-PO”

Former Vice President and the Presidential aspirant of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, who also reacted to the tragic news wrote,

“My thoughts and prayers are with Davido and Chioma and the Adeleke family at this time. I pray for God to strengthen and comfort them. -AA”

Photos showing Migos rapper Takeoff’s last moments before he was shot dead in Houston are making the rounds online.

It was earlier reported that the 28-year-old rapper was gunned down in the Texas city on Tuesday, November 1.

Takeoff is said to have been playing a dice game with his bandmate Quavo when a fight broke out at the bowling alley, 810 Billiards & Bowling, at 2.30am on Tuesday. Read here.

Photos and videos shared online show the rapper laying in a pool of his own blood as people surround him in confusion and distortion.

Meanwhile, the last photo Takeoff posted on his Instagram Stories before his death was shared with the audio to the song titled “Stop Breathing” by Playboi Carti.

Other photos showing the singer’s last moments before the incident that has now gone viral showed him smoking outside the venue; another showed him (in a white t-shirt) playing dice with Quavo (red t-shirt), and others said to be family and friends.

A fan also took a photo with Takeoff and shared it on Instagram during the night out – that is believed to be the last photo he posed for.

Ifeanyi was rushed to Evercare Hospital in Lekki where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

The couple had traveled for a family gathering to Ibadan yesterday and had left Ifeanyi with his minders who can’t explain how he entered the pool without being noticed and drowned.

We gathered that quite a number of people at Davido’s House when the incident happened have been arrested.

A distraught and inconsolable Davido was removed from Evercare Hospital and taken to his father’s house where he remains as at press time.

DMW boss, Davido, and his family are currently in mourning following the death of their son, Ifeanyi, who just turned three a few days ago. Little Ifeanyi died late Monday, October 31st after he drowned in a swimming pool in his father’s Banana Island home.

Taking to his Instagram story moments ago, YBNL boss, Olamide, sympathized with the bereaved singer.

Olamide prayed for divine strength for Davido to pull through this very dark time.

Netizens were thrown into mourning and disarray after the news first broke that the singer had lost his son with his fiancée, Chioma, Ifeanyi to the cold hands of death.

Popular Nigerian comedienne, Damilola Adekoya, popularly known as Princess, has reacted after receiving heavy backlash online for not condoling with singer, Davido, on the death of his son, Ifeanyi.

Recall that the 3-year-old died on Monday, October 31, after drowning in a swimming pool in his father’s home in Banana Island, Lagos.

News of his death shook the Nigerian cyberspace to its core and netizens trooped to social media in their numbers to mourn his sudden passing.

However, Princess took to her Instagram page on Tuesday morning, November 1, to share a casual post and failed to acknowledge the young lad’s death.

This did not sit well with a lot of people who flooded her comment section with criticisms, insults and curses for not sympathizing with Davido.

Reacting to the negative comments, Princess, in a video shared on her page, fired back at those dragging and laying curses on her for keeping mute about Ifeanyi’s death.

She said she was not aware of the drowning incident and didn’t know Ifeanyi was dead, and innocently shared the post online.

A Nigerian clergyman, Prophet Samuel King, is currently trending online after his old Facebook post predicting singer, Davido’s son, Ifeanyi’s death resurfaced.

Davido’s three-year-old son died on Monday night after he drowned in a swimming pool in the singer’s home in Banana Island, Lagos state.

The news of Ifeanyi’s death shook Nigerian cyberspace to the core, with many heartbroken by the tragic incident.

Following Ifeanyi’s death, Davido’s foster brother revealed in a post on his Insta-stories that the family had earlier received a prophecy about the incident, but it was taken for granted.

Amid this, a post that was shared on Facebook in January by Prophet Samuel warning about the impending danger on Ifeanyi started making the rounds online.

In the post, he had asked the singer to pray against the arrow of death, especially against his son.

“PRAY FOR DAVID ADELEKE aka Davido . In a vision I saw 2022 with so many opportunities for him, reward and awards! This is the biggest year for him even until 2023! But let’s pray Against any arrow of death ESPECIALLY against his son! Any any close loved ones. God revealed this to me That it will happen if prayers are not MADE. I see T and Y as a very significant clue to this prophecy as well. THINGS ARE HAPPENING!” The post read.

However, the clergyman, has now spoken out about the prophecy in an updated post that he titled “GLOBAL ACCURATE PROPHECY CONFIRMED.”

Prophet Samuel, who claimed that the prophecy was in two parts, asked Davido to reach out to him to avert a mirror of this tragic incident in 2023.

“It was a trap, they gave me a beating” – Man who received email from thief who stole his laptop gives update after he met up with him to buy it back

A South African man has narrated how he was set up by a thief who stole his laptop after meeting up with him to buy it back.

The man had earlier taken to Twitter to reveal that he received an email from the thief, who was ‘kind enough’ to attach a copy of the project he was working on. He also told him to reach out if he needs any other documents from the laptop before he sells it to an available buyer.

He wrote, “They stole my laptop last night and they sent me an email using my email, I have mixed emotions now.😩”

After sharing the email online, it quickly went viral and netizens advised him to contact the thief and offer to buy the laptop back, instead of selling it off to another buyer.

He took the advise and sent an email to the robber, offering to purchase the laptop from him. They then agreed on a price, and a date and time was set for the exchange.

The man however received a rude shock when he was jumped by the thief at their meetup point and was robbed again. He said his phone and money was taken from him.

According to him, he will never take advice from strangers on the internet again.

Many feared dead, others injured as fire guts building in VI, Lagos (Video)

A fire outbreak on Adeola Odeku Street, Victoria Island, Lagos, on Tuesday morning, November 1, has reportedly left many dead and others critically injured.

The fire was said to have been caused by a generator explosion that occurred in the area this morning.

Eyewitnesses disclosed that a car belonging to the Rapid Response Squad (RRS), which was parked outside the building, also caught fire.

Videos from the scene of the incident, which is said to have left scores of people dead and others severely injured, showed people being pulled out of the fire.

However, confirming the incident, the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) said nine people, all male adults, suffered burns and injuries in the fire and were taken to an unnamed hospital.

“Investigation gathered at the scene revealed the fire emanated from the generator house,” LASEMA said.

Nigerian singer, Oluwafemi Oladapo better known as Slimcase, has berated his colleagues in the entertainment industry for moving on so quickly from the death of Davido’s son, Ifeanyi.

He went live on his Instagram to express his grievance with his colleagues after seeing that some had resumed posting normal contents on their social media pages barely 12 hours after Ifeanyi’s death.

According to the 40-year-old singer, he finds it appalling that people don’t take time to grieve over the dead and simply move on with their daily lives.

He referenced the recent death of reality TV star, Rico Swavey, and pointed out how his co-stars and friends moved on so fast.

Slim Case further declared that no celebrity should post a content unrelated to Davido and his late son today to show respect for the grieving singer. He said Davido is a legend and the least they can do is condole with him as he mourns his son.

Nigerian businessman, Wale Jana, has advised people against posting everything on social media, as he declares that the social space is now toxic.

Wale Jana, who gave the warning in a post on his Instagram page, said there are evil eyes on social media monitoring people’s progress and casting spells and incantations on their pictures.

According to him, putting one’s personal life out there is like sleeping in a house with no gate and no windows.

He further revealed that he’s going private on Instagram to limit the people who can see his posts.

A yet-to-be identified man has been rescued from jumping off a bridge in an apparent suicide attempt in Lagos.

A viral video making rounds online captures the moment passersby employed tactical efforts to save the middle-aged men who was trying to end his own life.

In the trending clip, the man could be seen sitting on a bridge with the intention to jump down and end it all, but people underneath the bridge swung into a rescue mission to save him.

They started throwing stones at the man to distract him from jumping off the bridge before a man clung to him and pulled him off the concrete, forcing him to abort his suicide mission.

The suspect, a senior member of the Democratic Party (DP) and a former National Secretary for the DP Women’s League, presented herself to the Lacor police post in Bardege-Layibi division, Gulu city, after she allegedly stabbed her husband, a medical doctor, to death.

The couple reportedly had a heated argument at their home in Keyi ‘’A’’ Cell in Kabedpong Ward, Gulu City on Friday, October 28, at around 11 p.m.

Amony allegedly picked up a knife and stabbed her husband, who died on the way to Gulu Regional Referral Hospital. After the incident, she reported herself to the police for alleged murder.

Family and friends of a young Nigerian man, Shehu Lili Kofar Atiku, who died barely 24 hours after his wedding, have taken to social media to mourn his tragic passing.

Kofar Atiku tied the knot with his heartthrob in Sokoto state on Sunday, October 30 and died on Monday morning, October 31.

A family friend, Shamsudeen Buratai, who gave details of Kofar’s death, said he died after a sudden illness.

“Shehu is my childhood friend and a family friend for over 3 decades. He had acute malaria which would strike him every harmattan. So like any other year, the illness struck this year, around September, to which he took medications and regained his health.

“Just this morning, around 9 am, Shehu came out and met us where we exchanged normal pleasantries. All of a sudden he began to feel something strange and said to us that he suspected it was his malaria that wanted to come back. Next thing he slumped and that was it”, he said.

Another friend of the deceased, Al’ameen Rufa’i Hussaini wrote,

“To Allah we belong and to Him we shall return 😭😭😭 Oh God forgive Shehu Lili Kofar Atiku Yesterday Sunday his wedding was held, Allah take his life this morning.”

The deceased has been buried according to Islamic rites.

Photos and a video shared online shows the alleged rapper laying in a pool of his own blood as people surround him in confusion and distortion.

Following the viral report, it’s alleged that the rapper met his end because of an escalated situation involving fellow rap member, Quavo and a bunch of other people they were playing a dice game with.

Sex workers in Kenyan county now reusing condoms following shortage

Commercial sex workers in Busia town, Kenya, have shared that they wash and reuse the condoms to meet sexual needs of their customers.

One sex worker who spoke to a local television station, stated that the county has been experiencing a shortage of female and male condoms for a while and the few that are available are from the neighbouring country, Uganda.

She told NTV,

“We are pleading with the government to release condoms to Busia because our lives are at risk.”

Other residents also said they risk unplanned pregnancies if the government doesn’t intervene.

Janerose Ambuchi, the Director of Medical Services in Busia county, who said that her office is not aware of the recycling of contraceptives in the area, blamed the short supply of condoms to a decline in international donor funding.

She said,

“It has not come to my desk but if it’s happening it should not be allowed to continue because the integrity of the condom is going to be affected. The second and third use because of lack of condoms will expose this generation to danger.

“The county (Busia) is experiencing an acute shortage of condoms which is not a Busia problem alone. It’s a national problem. This is a donor-funded commodity based on a global fund. At the moment, donor funding has dwindled.”

Shortly after the report was shared online on Monday night, Wizkid took to his Twitter page around 11:33PM to promote his forthcoming album ‘More Love, Less Ego’ which is set to drop this Friday, November 4.

Though the news of Ifeanyi’s death was not yet confirmed at the time as netizens were waiting for his parents to release a statement about the tragic viral news, Wizkid, on seeing the commotion online, deleted the promotional tweet in less than a minute.

Nigerian singer, Davido’s foster brother, Emeka Senator, has hinted that the family had earlier received a prophecy about Ifeanyi’s death, but it was taken for granted.

Davido’s three-year-old son with his fiancée, Chioma, died on Monday, October 31st after he drowned in a swimming pool at his dad’s residence in the Banana Island area of Lagos State.

He was reportedly rushed to Evercare Hospital in Lekki , where he was confirmed dead by one of the doctors on duty.

Ifeanyi’s parents had traveled for a family gathering to Ibadan yesterday and had left the little boy with his minders, who couldn’t explain how he entered the pool without being noticed and drowned. Read here.

While the bereaved parents are yet to react to the tragic incident, Davido’s foster brother revealed in a post on his Insta-stories that the family had received a warning about the incident.

He, however, didn’t give details of the prophecy but noted that they took it for granted and apologized to God.

“The revelation was taken for granted, God we are so sorry”, he wrote.

Meanwhile, the Lagos State Police Command has confirmed that all members of the singer’s domestic staff are currently in police custody.

How 3-year-old girl was discovered alive inside well three days after she went missing in Jos (Photos)

A 3-year-old girl, identified as Lydia Azatyom was discovered inside an abandoned well three days after she went missing in the Tudun Wada area of Jos, Plateau State.

According to reports, the minor was last seen playing with her friends outside their house on Thursday, October 27, 2022 before she mysteriously disappeared.

Efforts made by her family and neighbours to locate her whereabouts were futile until three days later, when one Dauda Dung confirmed that she has been found.

According to Tudun Wada Broadcast, a couple of young men found the girl inside the abandoned well in an uncompleted building within the area.

It’s reported that the young men had visited the site to defecate and heard sounds of movement inside the dry well. It was also learnt that the building has long been abandoned and now used for open defecation and dump.

Lydia had bruises around her head and was rushed to the hospital where she is currently receiving for medical attention.

It is however yet be ascertained if Lydia mistakenly fell into the well or someone dumped her there.

A young Nigerian lady has shared the astounding testimony of how she was completely made whole after suffering kidney failure.

The lady, identified as Emediong Uko, in a video posted on her Instagram page, narrated how her two failed kidneys jerked back to life without any dialysis.

According to her, she took ill in October and thought it was malaria or typhoid but upon examination, doctors discovered that her two kidneys were dead. She was given the option to either undergo kidney transplant or lifelong dialysis.

However, she kept worshipping God in spite of her pain and trusted him to heal her. After spending 23 days at the hospital, she was given a clean bill of health to the surprise of nurses and doctors at the hospital.

Emediong shared videos of her moments in the hospital and gave a detailed narration of how she was healed,

“MORE THAN CONQUERORS ⚔️:

I’m overall grateful for life! 🙏🏽🌤🤍 What I thought was malaria and typhoid spiraled into a myriad of illnesses with the highlight being Kidney Failure on both kidneys. In a matter of 28 days, every horrible illness from high fever, tinnitus & partial hearing loss, internal bleeding, a urinary tract infection, anaemia, fluid accumulation in the lungs and a drastic 20kg weight loss came upon me. When the doctors had pronounced both the kidney tissues dead, they couldn’t even tell me an estimate as to when I’d leave the hospital. They gave me options like transplants and lifelong dialysis to keep me alive for longer than I had.

I asked the Holy Spirit one morning- “are these kidneys really dead like they say?”
And he responded saying “they are only SLEEPING. Speak to them to wake up”.

My friend @victoriamusaa pointed me to Mark 5:41 where Jesus also saw a dead girl and said she was ‘sleeping’. From then the words “talitha koum” (which means “wake up” as Jesus said ) were my anthem. I actually spoke to this kidney like it had the intelligence to wake up- because it does. Not even up to the next day (Friday last week) the doctor tells me she checked again and the tissue wasn’t completely dead. For the next few days the nurses were scared + impressed that I was doing amazing without any need for dialysis. As of Wednesday, I got my clean bill of health that both kidneys had picked back up to normal functioning on their own. When we say “more than conquerors” it’s not just a phrase. It was never a metaphor. When you have the life of God in you, nothing qualifies you as ‘normal’. He makes everything brand new! 🕊

This testimony would not be complete without the gift of men that God gave me. These people in my life gave everything in them to see me through this journey. I love you all!!! 🫶🏼”

A video serving the rounds online has captured the quite emotional moment clubgoers paused their fun to mourn singer, Davido’s late son, Ifeanyi.

The news of the tragic passing of Davido’s child with his fiancee, Chioma, hit the internet late Monday, October 31st.

The young lad who turned three only a few days ago is said to have drowned at his dad’s Banana Island home. He was rushed to Evercare Hospital in Lekki, where he was pronounced dead on arrival. Read here.

In the viral video, some clubgoers paused to mourn as Davido’s hit song “stand strong” came on. The video was shared on social media with the caption, “this song hits different now”.

In other news, a Nigerian doctor and social media commentator has shared his thoughts on the possible reasons why singer Davido returned to his lover, Chioma, after their split in 2021.

Recall that the music executive recently rekindled his love with his fiancée, Chioma, and they have continued to serve as hot couple goals ever since. Davido has also hinted that their much-anticipated wedding will be held in 2023.

Speaking on the duo’s revived relationship, the Twitter user @DrPenking, noted that Davido went back to Chioma because she never aired their dirty linen in public all through their split.

He said that if another lady had been in Chioma’s place, she would have dragged his name in the mud, called him out, and granted several “tell-it-all” interviews for social media attention.

He said, since Chioma handled the situation maturely, Davido realized it would be impossible to find a woman like her, so he went back to her and claimed his love.

Following the death of Davido’s son, Ifeanyi, the Lagos State Police Command has confirmed that all members of the singer’s domestic staff are currently in police custody.

The command’s spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed this when speaking to newsmen on Tuesday morning after report of Ifeanyi’s death went viral.

Davido and Chioma Rowland were away from the house when the boy drowned in a pool at his father’s house in Banana Island on Monday.

The Lagos PPRO said preliminary investigation is currently ongoing to unravel what led to the boy’s death.

He said, “Domestic staff at Davido’a home have been taken to the station to give their own account of what happened. I wouldn’t call that arrest yet.

“If after they all give their own account of what happened and after preliminary investigations, if anyone of them is found culpable, the person will now be placed under arrest”.
