A Ghanaian clergywoman has been captured on video praying for divine intervention as a government task force demolishes her church for reportedly operating without a permit.
The woman in the viral video has been identified as the pastor of Apostolic Movers and Shakers Chapel.
The church building was demolished by a combined team of police and Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) task force on Monday, August 1, 2022, after it had been marked for demolition following an earlier warning by AMA to the church that they should vacate the premises.
In the viral video, the woman is heard fervently pleading with God to intervene, saying that anyone involved in the demolition will pay with their lives.
She further stated that if God did nothing about the situation, then she wouldn’t serve him ever again.

Journalist, Sam Omatseye claims Peter Obi’s supporters are threatening his life after he published an article titled “OBI-tuary”
Nigerian Journalist, Sam Omatseye has claimed that supporters of Labour Party presidential flagbearer, Peter Obi, are threatening his life.
He took to Twitter to make this allegation hours after he published an article about the presidential candidate on The Nation newspaper titled “Obi-tuary”.
The title didn’t sit well with some supporters of the presidential aspirant and they lampooned him over the article.
Some even went as far as sharing an obituary announcing his death and posted it on social media.
A Twitter user with handle @akanyvic wrote,
“If anything happens to Mr. Peter Obi, this bigot has explanations to give because he knows so much. How else do you explain that a man tags Mr. Peter Obi’s picture on the front page of a news paper with the word ‘Obi-tuary’? The attention of NPF and DSS should be drawn to this.”
Another Twitter user @Ogbenidipo wrote,

A young man has taken to Twitter to lament bitterly after his girlfriend sent him a comprehensive list of things she wants for her birthday.
@LifeOfNapaul shared screenshots of the conversation he had with the love of his life a day to her birthday where she reminded him of how she spent heavily on him on his birthday the previous year.
Before making her request, the lady recounted how she spoilt him silly for a whole week on his previous birthday and stated that on that grounds, she has written down a list of things she wants him to buy for her on her special day.
According to her, since they can’t spend the day together because of the ongoing ASUU strike, the least he can do is get her what she wants.

A video which was shared online shows the moment Nigerian singers, Naira Marley and his protege, Zinoleesky were effortlessly spraying bundles of 500 Naira notes at an event.
The superstars are seen approaching a lady —who appears to be a celebrant they were felicitating with— on the dance floors, with bundles of Naira notes with them.
Unlike most party goers who indulge in money spraying and would spray the notes individually, the singers are seen spraying the notes in bundles instead and if a batch they had in hand got exhausted, an handler with more bundles is seen on standby to hand them more money.

“The land alone is N9.5m” – Man cries out as wife disappears after selling his mansion for N10 million
A Nigerian man has taken to social media to cry out after his wife allegedly sold his mansion and disappeared with the money.
The disgruntled man in a viral video claimed he traveled and left the house in his wife’s care only to get wind that she had sold the property and fled with the proceeds.
He said he quickly returned to Nigeria and, to his utmost shock, the report was true, as his wife sold the palatial building for a paltry sum of N10 million.
He lamented that after paying the agency charge, lawyer’s fee, N500,000 for community development, and the N9.5 million he spent on the land alone, his wife only received N10 million for the sale of the property and fled with the money.

In related news, a US-based Nigerian man has taken to social media to lament after he was thrown out of his house by his wife.
In a video he shared online, the man captured the moment his ‘controlling’ wife shoved his belongings outside their home and demanded he leave so she could live her life.
Although it is not clear what caused the quarrel between them, the wife continued screaming she didn’t want to do this anymore.
“I don’t want to do this anymore. You can’t be telling me what to do. Get out of this place,” she said as she threw his bags outside the house.
The man, however, maintained his composure and persisted in questioning why she was ejecting from the house they built together.
Arise TV broadcaster, Rufai Oseni apologizes over BRT lane incident (video)
Arise Television broadcaster, Rufai Oseni has tendered a public apology to the appropriate parties after he was convicted for driving on a BRT lane in Lagos.
In the last few days, the presenter has repeatedly been in the news for driving on a lane dedicated to BRT buses in Lagos state and resisting arrest by men of the Nigerian Police Force.
A video showing his altercation with the policemen and how he threatened to call the Governor of Lagos state, Babajide Sanwaolu, on them also went viral on the Nigerian cyberspace.

Following the incident, he was charged to court for flouting Lagos State Transport Law of 2018 and found guilty of the crime after which he was asked to pay a fine of N70,000 before his car was released to him.
After reflecting on his actions, Oseni has publicly apologized for his actions during a live broadcast show on Arise TV this morning.
He said:
“I have to read the personal message I did. As many of you know in the last two days I have been in the news for the wrong reasons. This has resulted in needless distraction for my friends, family, members of the public and for all my colleagues on Arise News.
“I will like to apologise to all parties over what transpired during the incident with the police when I was stopped while driving BRT bus lane. I dare not lay claims to know it all. Lessons have been learned from this entire episode. This has been a really humbling experience for me.
“I like to use this opportunity to express my gratitude to all those who have reached out to me in the last two days for their guidance and counselling. Thank you, everyone. God bless you all and please let’s continue to strive to make our country a better place for all. I apologise.”

Popular Nigerian singer, Kizz Daniel has disclosed that he has employed the young lady he rocked on stage during a recent performance.
While performing at his Afroclassic World Tour 2022 in the US, the ‘Buga’ crooner had a steamy moment with the female fan.
He brought her up on stage to dance like some artistes do and touched her derriere then proceeded to lift her off the floor. After the rather steamy moment, he told her to send him a DM on Instagram.
Speaking on the performance in a recent interview with Charlamagne Tha god and Angela Yee on “The Breakfast Club” show, the father of two revealed that he has employed the lady and that she even came along with him to the said interview.
When asked if he has ever considered toning down the way he ‘expresses’ himself with ladies on stage, Kizz Daniel said he always seeks the consent of the ladies’ before groping or doing anything sexual with them.
