Popular actor, Yomi Fabiyi has taken to his Instagram page to share a cryptic post seemingly directed at one of his colleagues.
However, it’s unclear who the actor is referring to as he has been enmeshed in different controversial issues in recent times.
It would be recalled that he was caught in the crossfire between convicted actor, Baba Ijesha and comedienne, Princess, after he defended the former.
He was also involved in a domestic crisis with his baby mama, Amarachi Grace, after she accused of him of physically assaulting her while pregnant and demanding sex for movie roles.
Just yesterday, he was accused of falling out with his colleague, Mo Bimpe, because she turned down his demand to sleep with her in exchange for a role.
Mo Bimpe has however debunked the claim and said he didn’t ask her out until they finished the movie they were both working on.
She said when she turned him down, he gave her an option to either date him or become his enemy and she made her choice.
Well, amid all the drama, Yomi took to his Instagram page on Thursday, July 15, to say someone is trying to destroy the ladder they used in climbing to the top and he’s ready to play the person’s ‘game’.
He wrote,
“Hello you say what? I am coming, I am in the library.
It is safe to say some people will want to DESTROY the ladder they use in climbing to the top by all means possible and a handful will still indulge such.
Nothing is as efficacious as Natural Justice. I hate half truth.
Massive reactions have trailed a photo of Portable stripped to his boxers in front of the statue of Obafemi Awolowo in Osogbo, as he campaigned for the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The controversial singer, who was at the APC mega rally for the re-election of Osun State Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola, held in Osogbo, danced vigorously and, at some point, stripped to his boxers and bent as if to sit on Obafemi Awolowo’s statue.
The photo has sparked outrage from Nigerians since it found its way to the internet. Many social media users averred that Portable’s conduct in front of Awolowo’s statue was disrespectful to the legacy of the statesman.
Meanwhile, recall that Portable earlier revealed that he was paid to support the ruling party. In light of this, some tweeps joked that the singer had to be extra to give APC value for their money.
Reacting, a Twitter user wrote, “I’m not even Yoruba & I’m deeply offended by that crass display of disrespect and disregard for such a highly regarded Yoruba leader. Just look at this rubbish.”

I'm not even Yoruba & I'm deeply offended by that crass display of disrespect and disregard for such a highly regarded Yoruba leader.
Ordinarily that picture of Portable with his butt in the face of Awolowo's statue and someone carrying the APC flag behind him should be enough to make Oyetola lose the Osun elections on Saturday.
The way APC has ridiculed the Awolowo name, brand, legacy, and style of leadership is not enough they had to move a step with the desecration of his statue. Portable say make Awo see madness. Voting for Apc is tantamount to madness, tuition hike, hunger #osogbo#imole#Nigeriapic.twitter.com/KqnukZda9E
Malawi-based Nigerian Catholic Priest, Fr. Kelvin Ugwu has responded to a follower who criticized him for having lunch with a woman in a hotel.
The missionary priest who had earlier announced that he has been transferred to Gambia from Malawi, went to have a goodbye lunch with a woman at a restaurant located in a hotel.
He shared a picture from the outing on his Facebook page on Thursday, Julu 15, and disclosed that the woman, Peggy Chinwemwe, invited him out on the lunch.
However, a follower who had suspicion about the outing queried the priest for going to a hotel with a woman.
Dicta Ogodo commented: “Going to hotel with a woman for goodbye lunch. What should we learn from this one”
Reacting, Fr. Ugwu shared a screenshot of the comment and advised the follower to ask God to purify his mind.
“Dicta Ogodo, Okay, remove hotel, put “restaurant”. Okay, remove “restaurant,” put “public place”. Okay, remove “public place,” put “God purify my dirty mind”, and you will see that you would have learnt something. And if you still did not learn anything, remove “God purify my dirty mind” and put “Ewu Gambia” he wrote.
An American missionary, Eric Tuininga, has been sentenced to 10 years of imprisonment after he was found guilty of defiling a 14-year-old Ugandan girl who was under his care at the Orthodox Presbyterian church based in Mbale District.
In 2019, 45-year-old Tuininga was reported by a fellow US citizen working at the same church who contacted the US Embassy in Kampala that he was having carnal knowledge with Ugandan girls as young as 14 years old who were under the care of their church.
The US Department of State, Bureau of Diplomatic Security federal agents in Kampala opened an investigation into the allegations and subsequently identified the abused minor, who was then aged 14, in May 2019 when Tuininga had intercourse with her.
“Eric Tuininga used his trusted position as a pastor to sexually assault a young Ugandan girl in his care, this was a challenging case, but law enforcement worked diligently to ensure that Tuininga did not escape justice for his crime overseas,” US Attorney Peter D. Lear said.
He has now been sentenced to 10 years in a US federal prison after he was convicted of sexually molesting a minor.
He was ordered to pay $20,000 (about Shs75m) in restitution by US District Judge Marc T. Treadwell and spend a lifetime on supervised release as a registered sex offender after getting out of prison.
Meanwhile, in February, Mr. Tuininga pleaded guilty and was taken to jail pending sentencing. He faced up to 30 years in jail, according to reports at the time. Several US media outlets reported that the recommended sentence for Tuininga was seven to nine years.
The judge gave him a 10-year sentence after hearing testimony from the victim’s caretaker and some of Tuininga’s family members.
“I want to recognize the true bravery displayed by the Ugandan girl for speaking out when she was assaulted by a trusted person of power from another country, courageously seeking justice across continents,” US Attorney Peter D. Leary is quoted in a statement.

When she didn’t budge, the attendant clamped her vehicle which got her angry and she removed the clamp and started pursuing the attendant around the car park before throwing it at him, injuring him in the process.
A video showing the moment the white woman was chasing the attendant on the road and attacked him with the clamp has gone viral on social media.
Confirming the incident, the Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL) in a statement said the young woman has been arrested and is currently in their custody.

Grace Amarachi, the baby mama of controversial Nollywood actor, Yomi Fabiyi, has reacted after the comedienne, Princess heaped generational curses on her baby daddy.
Recall that during an Instagram live session on Thursday, Princess rained curses on actor Yomi Fabiyi and his child following the sentencing of Baba Ijesha, who sexually molested her foster daughter.
Baba Ijesha was sentenced to a 16-year jail term on Thursday after facing six counts of child defilement that included indecent treatment of a child, sexual assault, attempted sexual assault by penetration, and sexual assault by penetration.
However, reacting to the judge’s ruling, Fabiyi, who has taken sides with Baba Ijesha since the beginning of the case, stated that Baba Ijesha must be given the privilege to challenge the court ruling in all possible ways.
This comment apparently triggered Princess, and in an Instagram live session, tearfully rained curses on Fabiyi, his son, Akorede, whom he welcomed with his baby mama, Grace, in February, and his generations to come.
“Yomi Fabiyi, your son whom you called Akorede has not brought any fortune for you. The day you point your hand to your child, you’re pointing your hand to an unfortunate thing,” Princess said in Yoruba, amid tears holding the Holy Bible.
Reacting, Akorode’s mother, Grace, took to her Instagram page to share a picture of herself and her child, prayed for her child, rebuking every curse.
“Heavenly Father, may my child Akorede Imoleayo not fear, for you are with him. As I place my child in your mighty loving hands, give him peace. Akorede, you will excel in life. You are protected in God’s hand, no curse, no evil will befall you. Amen.” The mother of one wrote.
In another post, Grace seemingly mocked Princess for not having a child.
“If you had gone through labour pain, you would know cursing an innocent child/ren is a No.” She wrote.

The comedienne had, in April 2021, accused Baba Ijesha of assaulting her 14-year-old foster daughter since she was 7. After months of legal wrangling, he was found guilty before an Ikeja special offences court on Thursday, July 14.
The actor was charged with a 6-count charge, which bordered on allegations of indecent treatment of a child, sexual assault, attempted sexual assault by penetration, and sexual assault by penetration. However, at the judgment on Thursday, the presiding judge found him guilty of counts 2, 3, 4, and 5, while the prosecution could not prove counts one and six, which were sexual assault by penetration and attempted sexual assault by penetration.
Reacting to the judge’s ruling, actor Yomi Fabiyi, who has taken sides with Baba Ijesha since the beginning of the case, stated that Baba Ijesha must be given the privilege to challenge the court ruling in all possible ways.
In an apparent reaction to this, Princess, during an Instagram live session, rained generational curses on Yomi Fabiyi. Princess also cursed Nollywood stars like Iya Rainbow, Yinka Quadri, and Baba Latin over their negligence of unruly acts in the industry.
She also laid curses on the former Lagos state Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, whom she accused of threatening her and also humiliating her foster daughter.
A Pastor recently confronted a young lady for eating ‘seductively’ while live on video-sharing platform, TikTok, and accused her of deceiving men.
A video trending online captures the hilarious moment the pastor tackled the lady and told her to stop coming online to eat because she’s tempting men.
He accused her of having a evil mind for going live on TikTok to eat because it’s not normal and told her to eat whatever she wants to eat beforehand.
He also warned men against watching the lady’s videos because she would make them horny and push them into patronizing sex workers to quell their sexual urges.

She further told him to go live on his own TikTok page instead of watching hers.

Popular Nigerian Singer and Father-of-one, Adekunle Gold has opened up on the struggles he had with his health when he was much younger due to him being born with Sickle Cell Anaemia.
In an open letter to his fans, the “orente” crooner revealed that there were days when health crisis came and he wished he died becaue the pain was too much for him to bear.
Read his letter below;
It feels liberating to finally be able to share this part of my life with you, to finally be able to speak my truth. When I talk about how I struggled to get to where I am today, I need you to know that my struggle was real.
I was born with sickle cell disease. It was life and death, it was physical, mental, financial, you name it and I went through it all. It was tough, painful and frustrating. I lived with a sickness no one around me understood, I lived with restrictions all my childhood.
I wasn’t able to join some of the most minor child play and liberating activities like going out in the rain. The times when I insisted and rebelled against my parents orders and went out in the rain, I would end up having a crisis.
The nights were painful and lonely, nights that no one could help me get through. It was just me, God and my mind. The pains and shivers were unbearable.
They always came in the night, when my family had no means to transport me to a hospital. We simply couldn’t afford the constant hospital bills so I had no choice but to endure the pain.
My mum wanted me to be well, she did her best. She took me to all the churches she could find, I’m grateful for her because she saw a future for me.
A future where no illness or sickness could hold me back from my purpose. From the life I was destined to live.
Sickle cell disease took away my freedom, my childhood. I lost friends, a lot of them. Some didn’t understand the restrictions and rules I had to live by, some just didn’t want to deal with my Illness or thought it was a nasty or contagious disease that they could catch. I was a burden for some. Living with sickle cell is far from living a normal life.
One of the most intense crisis I had was at the age of 20, I remember laying in my bed in the middle of the night asking for an end to it all. I begged God to take my life away because I couldn’t understand what I did to deserve the pain my body and mind was under. As usual with sickle crisis after some days, the pain subsided and God asked me; “That end you begged me for, do you still want it?” Of course I said no and that’s when everything changed for me. That’s when I realised that I had been given another opportunity to live my dreams and to show those that mocked me that sickle cell anemia was never going to end me, that it was never going to hold me back from my dreams and aspirations.
My body caves in once in a while, some symptoms come back but what this disease has taught me is resilience. Sickle cell anemia gave me hope, made me tough, gave me the discipline I needed to be who I am today, built my character. I mean I went through a whole 5 weeks of back to back performances and didn’t fall sick. Grace.
My mind and body were challenged and I’m stronger, more determined and ready to take on the world. I’m ready for Adekunle Gold Supremacy, I’m ready to live and enjoy the 5 Star life that I deserve, that my body toiled for.
I’m sharing my testimony with you because I hope that you can find strength in my truth. Some ailments hold us back but I’m thankful this hasn’t. I want to encourage you in whatever it is you’re going through, know that there is hope. You are strong and you must not give up. YOU CAN DO THIS!
Victory lies at the end for you just as it did for me.
If you know anyone going through any struggle, physical, health, mental. Be kind, show compassion. In fact be kind to everyone, you just never know what they’re dealing with privately. Be supportive, be gentle and love endlessly.
If you are a sickler, know that the disease does not define you. Don’t allow it to limit your dreams or cap your potential. Spread your wings and dream big! Hope to see you soaring the big skies.

Following the court judgment that Baba Ijesha, his colleague and staunch, Yomi Fabiyi has issued his stance on the matter.
According to Fabyi, Baba Ijesha must be given the privilege to challenge the court ruling in all possible ways.
Sharing the video, Yomi Fabiyi wrote;
*COURT HAS SPOKEN!!!*
The DEFENDANT(Baba Ijesha) NOT found guilty of The defilement(rape) with CAR KEY as charged(1&6) for lack of evidence, which he still denied ever committing BUT has been found guilty of few other charges bothering on sexual assault(as seen in the video 2,3,4,5). Any indecent act against children is unacceptable and I have never and will never support such. CHILDREN ARE MEANT TO BE PROTECTED. And I will insist that PARENTAL NEGLIGENCE is equally punishable under section 30(3) Child Rights Act. It is an imprisonment for ten years!
However, if the defendant insists that he is innocent of the other charges. It is within his rights if he chooses to appeal. And if he exhausts all options and the judgement stands, he should serve his term and I hope he will learn his lessons and turn a new leaf.
I am still committed to the frontiers of HUMAN RIGHTS and that all accused are innocent until proven guilty by the court of law. I thank the JUDGE for not punishing the defendant before today until verdict is reached.
Grateful to the state/prosecution thus far, for ensuring that the rights of these three major actors in this case were upheld: *The VICTIM, DEFENDANT and The PUBLIC.*

Portable, who disclosed that he once collected money to speak ill of a politician, said the table has now turned, as APC has now paid him to support its candidates.
In a new video he shared on his Instagram page, he told those criticizing him for supporting Tinubu that he was only doing his job.
“If they pay you money, you have to work. I was once paid to insult Tinubu during the protests. That was a long time ago. Now, APC has said Akoi Tinubu.
“If they pay you, do your job, no ripping. When I was asked to insult Tinubu, I collected my money and did my job. Now Tinubu is the next. They’re the ones that gave me money, and I must do the work for the money I collected. Akoi APC,” he said in Yoruba.

In other news, a Chinese father has sparked outrage online after reportedly abandoning his son at school after finding out he’s not his biological child.
It was gathered that last week, the man took his 5-year-old son to school as he usually did but this time, he didn’t return to pick him up.
Troubled by this, the boy’s teacher identified as Chen, placed a call to his father to ask why he’s yet to pick up his son from school but he vehemently refused to come to the school, stating that he conducted a DNA test and discovered he’s not the biological father of his son.
The angry father further stated that the boy who is being identified with the alias “Xiao Rui” is now the school’s problem.
Chen also went to Xiao’s house in a bid to drop him off but discovered that the place was empty and the boy’s mother was also nowhere to be found.
Following the incident, the school contacted the police who called Ziao’s grandfather and uncle but they allegedly also refused to pick the boy up.
The news has sparked outrage on Chinese microblogging site, Weibo, as Chinese citizens express disappointment in both the father and mother of the little boy.
Yusuf Lasun, the governorship candidate of Labour Party in Osun state, has reacted after the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, said his party and other ‘mushroom’ parties will labour till they die.
The former Lagos state governor stated this while campaigning for APC in Osun state on Tuesday, July 12 ahead of the forthcoming governorship election on July 16.
His words,
“I ask you to please do the same thing you did in Ekiti. Come out with your PVCs and vote massively for APC. The voting is now in your hand. Be very vigilant. Be watchful. You will not do it in vain.
Think about your children and vote accordingly so you can see the future. Come out en masse. Don’t mind PDP and other mushroom parties — parties like Labour; they will labour till they die. God will not make you labourers.
You’re next. We will be here till tomorrow. We will come back here for victory dance. Look at the trajectory of our lives. We make promises and fulfil them. We are the ones upholding the party, the Buhari party. Don’t answer the naysayers.”
In reaction to Tinubu’s statement, Lasun who was live on Arise TV on Thursday morning, July 14, said he pities Tinubu because anyone who wishes another person dead will suffer the same fate.
He said;
“I pity that man. I pity him. When you wish people dead, then same thing will happen to him too. I pity him. He can no longer get hold of his life. How can you come to that space….four years ago you went to the palace of Ata Oja and told the world that you are richer than Osun state and that you are going to give to Osun state a financial engineer. After four years nobody is seeing any financial engineering taking place in Osun.
Today you are here again, you say people will labour till death.
The man is telling people that you do not have to work to be somebody in life.
I pity that man. I am going to face that man. If he has all the power in the world let him do his worse. He is not the only Yoruba man. He can’t cow us. He can’t cow us. If he wants to be President, let him campaign all over Nigeria. Who does he think he is for God sake?”
