Nigerian Disc Jockey, Nonso Temisan Ajufo popularly known as DJ BigN, has advised ladies doing honest businesses not to feel pressured by some “self-made” women on social media.
According to DJ BigN, majority of these women are not self-made as they claim and are being bankrolled by sugar daddies.
He stated that he doesn’t have an issue with how they make their money, but he detests it when they attribute their success to hard work thus making genuinely hardworking women feel like they are not doing enough.
Taking to his Instagram page on Saturday, May 28, he wrote,
“Dear Queens.
Don’t let any “made” woman on IG make you feel you ain’t working. I repeat “most” of them who beat their chest that they made it to the top without the help or sponsoring of a sugar daddy is pure BS. I happen to know most of their benefactors (I don’t have a problem with how they make their money)… I have a problem when they come and preach to the genuine hard working females about hard work… if we gonna talk about the work, let’s be specific.
Stop misleading these young queens.
To all the queens who are steady grinding out there. Trust the process. It’ll all end in success. Peace.”
Nigerian professional dancer, Kaffy, has shared more details about her divorce from her husband, Joseph Ameh.
It can be recalled that in January 2022, Kaffy announced that her 10-year marriage to Joseph Ameh was over.
According to her, marriage is supposed to be an alignment of destinies, but that wasn’t the case for them, so they decided to go their separate ways.

“I don’t know what to do again. I once sent a story when my husband and I was staying with my mother in law. After posting, I gathered courage, confronted my husband and his mum. Because of that, my husband and I decided to move out to our own house.
We rented a two bedroom. Just two weeks after moving out, my mother-in-law followed us. Before she sleeps in between my husband. When I complained, my husband claimed that was how he was raised as an only son that I should adapt.

Nigerian Singer, Habeeb Okikiola has apologized to the organizers of Nigerian Award show – The Headies – for his verbal threat to the co-nominees in his award category.
Shortly after Portable was nominated, he took to his social media page to issue a threat that he’d cause harm to his co-nominees if he ends up not clinching the awards.
This did not go down well with Smooth Promotions Limited, the organizers and they swiftly reported Portable to the Police.

A Rivers state-born differently-abled Nigerian lady, Dorathy Osaronu, has reacted after being a target of social media trolling.
Dorathy and her husband, Gabriel, had shared adoring photos of themselves on Facebook to commemorate their one-year wedding anniversary. The pair tied the knot in a grand royal ceremony on May 23, 2021.

Empress, a close friend of Burna Boy’s ex-girlfriend, Stefflon Don, has slammed those dragging the singer over a song she’s about to release.
Steff had on Thursday, May 27, announced that she wants to drop a song titled “First of all” to share her own side of the story.
Since it came shortly after Burna Boy released a track “Last Last” where he seemingly addressed his failed relationship with Steff, it was widely believed that the latter’s yet-to-be released track is directed at him.

A Nigerian man simply identified as Ben has been arrested by the police for the alleged murder of his ex-girlfriend, Maria Ali.
Ben allegedly murdered his 31-year-old estranged lover because she moved on and began seeing someone else soon after they broke up, according to reports.
Punch reports that late Ali and Ben dated for over 10 years and even have a child together. However, Ali got tired of the relationship, called it off, and began seeing someone else known as Victor who promised to marry her.
Despite Ali’s separation from Ben, Cecilia Ene, Ali’s older sister, alleged he visited her sister’s apartment to assault her on multiple occasions.
“Maria (Ali) was my younger sister. She left Ben after she met another man who wanted to marry her. She rented her own apartment at Maraba, where she was living.
On Sunday, May 22, 2022, Ben came to her apartment around 5pm when her new lover visited and demanded that she should tell him to take his leave. She refused and did not allow him inside. They were talking outside the house before he lured her into his car for further discussion.
As soon as they got inside the car, he locked the doors and threatened her with a gun, saying he would kill her if she refused to ask her new lover to leave. The next day, Monday, May 23, Ben called me to come to a hospital in Karu around 8.30pm to see the dead body of my sister.
We were praying when his call came in. I rushed to the hospital with her fiancé, Victor, only to see my sister lying on the hospital bed. Immediately, I called my elder brother, who came.
When I asked Ben what happened to her, he said he didn’t know. The doctor on duty told us that someone brought her to the hospital in the afternoon.
The doctor also said the person dropped a wrong phone number with the hospital and left and that when the hospital wanted to refer her to a bigger hospital, they could not see the person and also could not reach anyone on the number the person provided. My brother called the police and Ben was arrested and taken to the Karu Police Station. I believe he was the one that took her to the hospital.” She said./blockquote>
The spokesperson of the FCT police command, Josephin Adeh, who confirmed the arrest, said an investigation was ongoing into the incident.
“We have the case and we are investigating it. We also have a suspect in custody,” she said.

Nollywood actress, Adesua Etomi, has explained why she has been opting for modest appearances and wearing cornrows to public gatherings for some time now.
This comes after the mother of one came under fire for her simple appearance at filmmaker Kemi Adetiba’s wedding, which was held in Lagos on Saturday, April 24, 2022.

A Twitter user has expressed displeasure after a female candidate, Sen. Aishatu Binani emerged winner of the APC gubernatorial primary election held in Adamawa state.
Sen. Binani defeated 5 male candidates, including Nuhu Rihabu and the immediate past governor of the State, Jibrilla Bindow, in the just concluded election to clinch the party’s governorship ticket.
This is an historic win because she’s the first woman to ever secure the governorship ticket of a major political party in the state.
Following news of her win, a Twitter user identified as Waspapping, took to the platform to criticize those who ‘allowed’ Binani win the election, considering the fact that Adamawa is an Islamic state and women are not allowed to rule in Islam.
“How can you allow a woman to win election? Worrying times for the people of Adamawa”, he tweeted.
Netizens didn’t react kindly to his statement and they dragged him to filth for undermining women and bringing religion into a political issue.

A Nigerian lady has put her friend to a loyalty test to see if she would fall for her boyfriend’s advances and she failed!
In a trending video, the lady disclosed that her friend came to visit her at her man’s house and was presently having a shower in the bathroom; and thereafter revealed her intention to play a prank on her.

Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh, who used to pride herself on being a radical for Jesus, has admitted backsliding in her religious life.
The 36-year-old actress revealed this on Instagram in response to a comment on her spiritual life from an Instagram follower.
The follower had described Tonto Dikeh as a pious woman, but noted that she’s straying from that path.
“My praying Gee. You don dey backslide from that path sef”, The follower wrote.
Responding, Tonto noted that the follower was right. She added that the worst part is she’s enjoying her life “outside.”
“Brotherly I don backslide finish, and the worst part be say I dey enjoy outside”, she wrote.

A while ago, Tonto Dikeh suffered backlash after she commented on a prayer post by Ghanaian actor and evangelist, Majid Michel.
Tonto Dikeh ‘typed in tongues’ on the comment section and this brought her massive heat as people could not understand how anyone can type in tongues.

A video Offset shared online showed the mother of two getting her ingredients ready and chopping her vegetables.
However, in a subsequent video showing the final result of his wife’s kitchen time, an entire tray of chicken wings were badly burned.
Although there was another tray with fresh, delicious looking wings, the burnt ones looked so blackened and didn’t appear to be something that would be edible.

The Federal Government has filed 23-count charges against Peter Nwachukwu, husband of the late popular gospel singer, Osinachi.
Osinachi died on Friday, April 8th after she was allegedly in a coma for five days prior to her death. Her family members, children, and friends of the deceased all alleged that her husband subjected her to domestic violence.
Nwachukwu was apprehended on Sunday, April 10 by the FCT police command on grounds of suspected culpable homicide.
Mr. Nwachukwu was charged with culpable homicide contrary to section 221 of the Penal Code, which is punishable by death, according to court papers filed on May 20, 2022 by Mrs. Yewande Gbola-Awopetun, Head, Sexual and Gender-Based Violence, Department of Public Prosecutions of the Federation, Ministry of Justice.
