“Na why girls dey do yansh” – Reactions as Kizz Daniel declares love for big derrière

Over time, there’s been an internet argument about which draws the opposite gender more: a woman’s bosom or her backside. As a result, a Twitter user decided to put an end to the long-running debate by conducting a poll in which men were asked to select their spec.

Kizz Daniel then replied to the tweet, noting that he’s a lover of derrière. He added that it’s the only thing that can make him leave the studio during a recording session.

“I am not sure the Pope would approve of this” – Reno Omokri reacts as a Catholic priest enforces ‘No PVC, No communion’ rule

Reno Omokri reacts

Former Presidential aide, Reno Omokri has reacted after a Catholic priest announced that he has enforced a “No PVC, No Communion” rule in his parish.

The priest, Fr. Cyriacus Kamai had taken to Twitter to announce the new rule on Thursday, June 2, ahead of the forthcoming general elections in 2023.

However, this didn’t sit well with Reno Omokri who asserted that it’s wrong to politicize something as sacred as the Holy Communion.

According to him, he is sure the Pope would not approve of this rule because the Catholic Church is known to be apolitical.

He wrote,

“But honestly, should we be politicising the Holy Communion? I am not sure the Pope would approve of this. The Catholic Church that I know was a apolitical. If you meet the 5 conditions for receiving the Holy Eucharist, no priest should deny you of partaking in such a sacred rite, even if you have no PVC.

To the best of my knowledge, the five conditions for a professing Catholic to receive the Catholic Holy Communion are:

1. You must be in a state of grace.
2. You must have been to confession since your last mortal sin.
3. You must believe in Church doctrine regarding Transubstantiation.
4. You must observe the Eucharist Fast.
5. You must not have been excommunicated, or otherwise censured by the Catholic Church.

Once you meet the five conditions listed above, why would any priest deny you the right to take Communion because you do not have a PVC?

I am being objective here. I said the same thing when the RCCG set up a political directorate. Before we allow religious organisations push political agendas, we must realise that there are other religions in Nigeria, who have the capacity to play this game. Let us not start what we cannot finish!”
