The Miami police reportedly raided Young Money Boss, Lil Wayne‘s Miami Beach mansion and seizing his property to satisfy a judgment against the rapper involving private jets.
The cops explained they were there and removed some of his expensive art pieces and several plaques inside the house because Wayne had not paid a $2 million judgment to Signature Group, a jet leasing company.
Wayne also owes the company $200k in lawyer’s fees. He also had $30million worth of art in his $11m mansion which is up for sale .
The judgment came down in September. Sources told TMZ that the sheriff’s deputies, who had a break order allowing them to storm the home, had a person with them who valued the assets inside so that they could decide which items to seize.
A 20-year-old lady has been apprehended after she admitted to setting up her friend to be gang raped due a misunderstanding between them.
The victim was reportedly ambushed by six armed men, suspected to be cultists, at about 8p.m., around the Olaosebikan Street in Somolu, Lagos.
According to Vanguard, the gunmen, said to have earlier propositioned her, which she rejected, took turns to rape her.
They had a field day on her for over four hours inside an apartment at Elewure’s House.
The suspected cultists, it was gathered, accused the victim, a computer operator, of accepting a member of a rival cult group as a lover.
The victim, who gave the names of the suspects (withheld) to policemen at Alade Division, said two of them saw her off to a street close to hers, from where she walked home.
One of the suspects was arrested at a hotel located off Bajulaye Street, but was later released. It was gathered that during investigation, the victim’s friend, identified as Vera, allegedly masterminded the incident and was arrested last Saturday.
Police sources hinted that Vera admitted to the claim, saying she did it out of bitterness. The police source said:
“She said it was after an argument that she threatened to deal with the victim. A few days later, the victim was raped. “The victim will be invited here tomorrow (Thursday), where both of them will sit face-to-face, during the interrogation section.
“We are also on the trail of the suspected rapists. Thereafter, they will all be charged to court. Currently, the victim is in good condition after undergoing treatment.”

In a quite tragic case, a trader at the popular Ladipo auto spare parts market at the Mushin area of Lagos state is said to have slumped and died after he was duped to the blaring tune of $95,000 (about N21m) by a friend.
The victim, Chigozie Ezeanyagu died at a private hospital on Tuesday morning where he was admitted after he slumped.
According to P.M.NEWS, the late Ezeanyagu gave the money to his friend based in the United States to send him some spare parts for sale at Ladipo market.
The friend reportedly collected the money and traveled to United State of America, USA, with a promise that he will send the goods as he requested.
The deceased waited for several months this year to receive the goods but to no avail.
He then, reportedly, placed a call to his friend and asked to know what was delaying the supply of the goods. It was then his friend told him to forget the money as he had used the money for other purpose.
The response from his friend caused him to slump and thereafter he became unconscious. He was rushed to a private hospital where he eventually passed on. The doctors said his blood pressure rose beyond control which resulted in his immediate death.
The wife who was unable to speak due the shock, only muttered that “he was the bread winner of the family”. The friend who allegedly duped him is from his neighbouring town in Achina in Aguata Local government in Anambra State.

According to a new report, thousands of women are delaying having children for fear of not being the perfect mother.
Almost three-quarters of those surveyed said the pressure of juggling a career and family life was putting them off trying to conceive.
Some worried about being labelled as a ‘part-time’ mother if they worked, or said they feared it would be ‘impossible’ to meet the expectations of their in-laws, friends and colleagues.
A report by the Pregnancy Advisory Service also found that one of the main reasons for women putting off starting a family was the struggle to find Mr Right.
Other concerns included not feeling ready for the responsibility a child, not owning their own home or simply not having enough money.

It’s estimated that at least five million bank accounts have been deactivated by Deposit Money Banks operating in the country on Saturday night in line with the October 31, 2015 deadline set by the Central Bank of Nigeria for bank customers to register and obtain their Bank Verification Numbers.
The affected customers were, among other things, barred from withdrawing cash and transferring funds through Automated Teller Machines, Internet banking platforms and over-the-counter in the banking halls.
Findings showed that a significant number of the five million customers whose accounts were suspended had obtained their BVNs but failed to link it with their account numbers.

The Nigerian Army officials have illegally detained four brothers since 2013 at a detention center at Dodan Barracks in Ikoyi, Lagos. The army held the siblings on the allegation that were Boko Haram insurgents.
The men, Haroon Abdullahi, 21, Ahmed Abdullahi, 17, Mohammed Abdullahi, 14, and Yahaya Abdullahi, 9, have been in detention since March 2013.
A human rights activist who brought the disturbing situation to the attention of SaharaReporters said:
“It’s a grave injustice that these four brothers, the youngest only nine years old, have been held by the Nigerian Army without trial for more than two years,”
The four brothers were arrested in the Mafoluku area of Lagos State in March 2013 and accused of being members of Boko Haram.
“The Nigerian authorities alleged that the four boys were part of an insurgent cell planning to bomb the Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos,” our source said.
The detainees’ father, who hails from Borno State Nigeria, is a retired soldier of the Nigerian Army.
“Malam Abdullahi relocated his family to Lagos in 2012 after life became unbearable for them in Maiduguri,” a source said.
According to him, the retired soldier enrolled his children in a school in Lagos to enable them to continue their education.
“Due to inadequate accommodation, the children stayed in an abandoned, defunct Concord newspaper warehouse in Aviation Estate, in Mafoluku. Also in the compound were others, mostly of Northern origin, trapped in the makeshift shelters.
“In March 2013, the Nigerian Army carried out a joint operation with the police and agents of the Department of State Security. They raided the compound in the night, arresting many, including the four brothers.”
“The brothers have been detained since in a facility at the Dodan Barracks. It has been 32 months now. No formal charges, no trial. And their father, Malam Abdullahi, has been fighting a lost cause in court to secure his children’s release.
At every hearing, the case for his sons’ release is adjourned for months.” According to the source, the fate of the four detained male youngsters “is troubling because any Nigerian could find himself or herself in the same situation, held by the military for close to thirty-six months on the basis of a mere allegation.”
